Loud cheers erupted from the stage as Luisa appeared and took her place in the middle to sing like the others had before her. Regulus and Sirius blink at how deep and beautiful her voice was.
We'll help you to grow
To say 'no'
Regulus and Sirius smiled. That was one problem that they didn't have. They weren't people-pleasers, Sirius more-so than Regulus. Regulus had been until his parents' had died, and after that, he only needed to please himself. Sirius only pleased himself especially after being sorted into Gryffindor.
Bruno had to as he was used for his Gift, but he, too, had learned to only please himself during his isolation and after, as he healed without being with his family. Was it the best way? Maybe not, but now he was healing in a healthier way.
When they refuse to go
We'll bury them in snow
Elsa held a snowball at the ready. Regulus rolled his eyes openly. Sirius guffawed. He wished that he had thought of that during the wars. How many Death Eaters could he have isolated and buried under snow?
Bruno chuckled and shook his head. The performers were so silly. The people of the Encanto might learn if they had snow or ice shoved in places where it may be unwelcome.
Break their toes
"And they won't be healed by magic!" Vanellope stated vindictively. Innocent smiles bloomed across some of the girls' faces.
"Wel, there are only so many times you can heal someone you don't like and mean it," Sirius related with a shrug. He thought of Severus Snape.
As nuts as one may think it was, even Regulus had despised Bellatrix, despite being taken under her wing when he had been inducted into the Death Eaters.
They'll never know
That'll be so
We're ready to experience highs and lows
Follow you wherever you want to show
We want to hug you and never let go
The group smiled as they lined up to give him a hug each, squeezing him in their own way. Luisa scooped him up, out of his chair when it became her turn. A gentle smile was directed her way as he leaned into her embrace in a boneless manner.
Sirius laughed in amusement when he saw the Colombian man become floppy in his gentle sobrina's arms. Luisa sent the other a slight smirk, asking if he would like a turn.
Regulus had a fond smile as he watched the exchange. He hoped that Sirius would let her relax him. Although he didn't know him anymore, he knew that he deserved rest and wished it on him, despite the resentment he still harboured from when Sirius ran away to the Potters. Still holding him, Luisa delivered her next line with tenderness.
You're our beloved tío Bruno
"And you're all my beloved sobrinos," he returned with just as much tenderness. "You're all so unique and amazing."
The Black Brothers gazed at each other longingly. They were so close, and yet so far from one another. Time has been a gift and a curse as they've had the ability to reflect upon old actions and see the actions as they were, for better and for worse. Then LUisa placed him back in his chair.
Let us take care of every blow
Bruno smiled as he imagined his hermanas, Pepa and Julieta, going after his enemies with lightning and skillets and any injuries they sustained wouldn't be healed with magic. Isabela could believably strike them with dangerous plants, Dolores would blackmail them with their own gossip, Luisa only needed to crack her knuckles before they backed off, Camilo could prank them to no end as well as use blackmail them as he pretended to be someone else, Mirabel only needed to be noticed as it was very common knowledge that Bruno was her favourite, and Antonio could sic his more dangerous animals on them. As clumsy as Mirabel's father was, he could send someone sprawling to the ground in one swift movement and his brother-in-law would use a few short words, similar to his mother-in-law. The Disney Girls' would use their own strengths to let the bullies know that bullying would not be tolerated.
Regulus and Sirius smiled darkly at the same time. They were capable of handling themselves very well. It would take a few well-placed spells for some.
Feel free to mess with the flow
Don't stick to the status quo
No, no, no
Sirius sent Regulus a look of 'that's what I've been trying to tell you.' Regulus missed it entirely though. How long would it take for Regulus to come to that realisation and embrace it entirely?
Bruno sent the pair an amused smile. Communication would work better if they were twins in his opinion. Although, sometimes telepathy doesn't always work. Sometimes, it worked on those who weren't twins like Mirabel and Camilo.
The third eldest Madrigal Grandkid finished and predictably proctored another flower. However, hers was a Gardenia.
