Sensei Rationale 5 - Or 'When my seemingly insignificant take on the Lilith-softverse takes a sharp turn into relevancy' (Taimanin Asagi, SI)
Onisaki Kirara was not sure if she was to be happy with Bukharin-sensei, or just be mildly surprised.
While many had told her and promised her that they would help, she would always end up ditched and left behind because she was different. As someone that had many reasons to be angry, it was difficult for Kirara to just end up in this situation- having dinner with Uehara-sensei as they sat in her new 'home'.
Mom wasn't there, but it wasn't the place owned by her father as... Bukharin-sensei had kept his word. When she first met Bukharin-sensei, Kirara had many reasons to dislike him. He was a man, he asked her a lot of questions (some of which felt really deep compared to others), and he was... Well, he made her believe again.
It was for a moment, a speckle of desire to have a chance to be happy. She had long resigned herself that leaving the village was not an option and Bukharin-sensei reaffirmed this to her- however, he promised her a better place to call home as she grew up.
She didn't believe him too much into this last aspect- but he didn't disappoint. The visit at the doctor felt quite invasive. The oni-Taimanin hybrid was self-conscious of some of the questions she was being asked, but Bukharin-sensei's words kept on tapping into her mind: "Be respectful, there is no wrong answer, you will not be harmed."
Kirara felt hearing those words in her mind as she went through that hassle, as if someone had taped a broken record to her ears and... and she felt a bit better after she was done with that. The doctor looked quite surprised a few times due to her answers, but he seemed happy with her behavior and had her leave within twenty minutes during the visit.
The girl was quite unsure what was to come next, but she was actually stunned when Uehara-sensei had her stop at the school's entrance just two days after this interview.
"Onisaki-chan. One word, please."
She slowly nodded, thinking nicely of Rin-sensei but always thinking of her as someone that had her hands always too full to listen to others' troubles. Hence why Kirara was shocked as she was told that from that day onward she would be living with Uehara-sensei.
"W-Why? What did I do?"
"You did nothing wrong, Onisaki-chan. But it has come to the decision of the Village Council that your father was unfit to take care of you."
She asked for more answers- not because she was upset of the outcome, but not understanding why it came to be. Kirara failed to get much out of Rin-sensei, but she got a name that may know more on the matter. So, while pressuring Rin-sensei wasn't going to get much in terms of answers, Kirara took the next day as an opportunity to get to the truth.
After all, she still had to go through extra-curricular with Bukharin-sensei.
"You- You know what happened, right?"
He blinked, fixing his glasses as he browsed some of the papers on his desk. As usual.
"Yes."
"Then... why? Why did the council just... let me out of there?"
He sighed. "Kirara, I will just give you general details and you can work the rest on your own. I am not entitled to give you the full truth."
She nodded, accepting at least some crumbles to work with.
"Your father's behavior, both around your upbringing and with some of the attitude he showed towards Gosha's representatives have rang some alarm bells," The teacher brought up. "An investigation was thus launched to verify if your father was viable for neglect and abuse."
This made Kirara frown. "But... how?"
"If you are asking me the specific causes, I can't help you with that. I can only tell you that the investigation found reasonable cause to see you removed from that household, for your father to be detained and a potential trial be issues towards him."
...That actually stunned Kirara since that meant her father was indeed a bad person. Sure, he yelled at her and he sent her out of the house when she was angry even if it rained or snowed, but that didn't mean she thought he was... that bad.
"I see... but still, Sensei, does this change much?"
"Beyond the fact I expect you to do your homework and put an effort to improve from your mistakes since you have a healthier home?" He asked sarcastically and she... actually nodded. He shrugged. "Just focus on that. You got a few more years before getting set in the workforce and you can get something done like getting friends and actually finding your high peak in life."
Nodding at this, Kirara was then focusing on the lesson that day and... and she ended up with a strange smile resisting through the rest of the day. She was no longer going back to her father's home, she was going to Uehara-sensei's home, she had a nice bed, a nice place to call her room, and even the peace of mind to think and study.
This was... this was fine. This made her happy. And as she sat alone in her desk, focusing on her homework, she felt somewhat validated in getting most of it done within a hour.
By the time it was dinnertime, Kirara was free from homework and... free of worry for the remainder of the school year and beyond.
Mizuki Shiranui was losing her mind.
While that thought was previously reserved to the endless burdens behind being the deputy headmistress at Gosha Academy, this time her current plight was far more sinister than anything she could really tackle with a smile and determination: she had been assaulted by two long weeks of wet dreams.
She could understand a few days of those, maybe a week- but she had been hit by two difficult weeks of those while her husband was stuck in long missions. And she could hardly get herself pleasured right with her hands and toys alone. As much as it pained her to admit it, she had been trying desperately to hook up with someone. Not willingly, but her moods were making her more compliant to potential molestation.
And a situation came close to see her cheating on her wonderful hubby when the teachers organized a celebration for their most recent addition's passing grades. John Bukharin was not only an outsider to Gosha Village, but also a foreigner. He wasn't the most handsome specimen, but he was the kind of man that many women would love to date and marry due to his honest and dashing attitude that clashed with some abrasive honesty he was known for.
He was a good teacher, and she could tell he was a nice person. So, her eyes had been on him for the entire nightly gathering. Soon, as she had predicted, most of the group left.
Yamamoto had to get home to rest due to his role at school demanding him to be awake long before the Academy opened, the other teachers were soon going away due to some being easy to sleep-drunk and others having to carry those slumbering to their houses rather than leave them in sight of any lecherous pervert and... It was soon Shiranui and John.
"C-Congratulations for your recent confirmation, Bukharin-san."
"Thank you, Mizuki-san-"
"Shiranui, please."
"Then please, do call me 'John'."
She giggled, the booze making her quite brave in her depraved ordeal. "Say... could you help me with something?"
"Depends, Shiranui-san."
"You see... I have been having this itch for a while."
He blinked, lucid as he barely drank any of the sake. "How long?"
"A few weeks."
"I see. How did it start?"
...Shiranui was too drunk to remember what she said as her plan to get mated by that young man ended up in her spilling the beans in regard to her wet dreams despite how embarrassing those were. John merely nodded, listening to her words and then... helping her off the table and out of the restaurant.
Was she going to get fucked? After twenty minutes and a solid 'kick' through the brew conjured by the school nurse back at the academy, Shiranui was soon aware this was not the case. And that she was ashamed with how close she got to break the bond with her husband.
"It would seem like you have been cursed, Mizuki-dono," Shinjou Yuuna, the school nurse, confirmed with a nod, drawing a shocked look out of Shiranui.
"I... What?"
"It seems someone had set an anchor on your mind. One that opens your mind to them when you are unconscious, such as when you're sleeping."
"But- but we are in Gosha-"
"That doesn't mean that all sorts of long-range curse are broken while here," John interjected. "If one as extensive and as strong persisted like this, then it's possible you were targeted by a high level demon."
"Luckily for you, Mizuki-dono," Yuuna assured, smiling as she retrieved another brew. "This one should help you with the bad dreams."
Her cheeks flared red at being called out over her wet dreams, but she nodded before gulping down the concoction and... feeling a bit drained. "What is it?"
"It's a special brand of anaphrodisiac. It will give you control of those dreams and be able to pull away from the anchor within your dreams. If you do so multiple times, it's viable to say that the source of trouble will be forced to drop it."
Shiranui nodded and realized the reason she felt far less 'driven' at this point was the lack of her sex drive coercing her to be more open around others and... there was one last thing to do as John and her walked out of the academy, Shiranui now holding other samples of the anaphrodisiac kept in a box.
"John-san?"
He glanced to her and she smiled. "Thank you for not taking advantage of this."
He snorted. "With all due respect, Shiranui-san, it would feel bad even thinking that considering I would have to live with that as I teach your daughter how to be a good person."
She forgot that, and she was understanding of the logic as she didn't feel offended for the 'rejection'.
At least the second male member of the school staff was not a pervert... and he was teaching her daughter some good common sense that had been missing in school for a while.

Incubus King, rejected! And it's not the Soyking, but the RPGx Version.
Next time... Asagi 'stumbles' on MC and they engage in a surprisingly nice conversation.
