Saiyan Huntress

"Arcelia, please remember to take good care of yourself, and to protect those who can't protect themselves."

The echoing voice of the past resonated within Arcelia, Arcee, Ka's ears as she awoke from her slumber, and slowly sat up in bed. She looked around her room, and sighed as she threw the sheets off, and hopped out, just as the sun was rising.

"A new day, a new dawn." Arcee smiled, stretching out before throwing a top on her naked upper body as she cracked her spine, and headed out of her room.

Giving a yawn as she made her way into the kitchen, Arcee wasn't all too surprised to see her foster family, the Belladonna's, already up and about with Kali cooking breakfast, along with Ghira, the Chieftain of the Faunus Country Menagerie, and former High Leader of the White Fang, drinking his morning coffee.

"Morning Kali, Ghira." Arcee said.

"Morning sweetie." Kali said. "How'd you sleep?"

"Pretty good." Arcee smiled, sniffing the air. "Mmm, what smells so good?"

"Well… did you forget what day it was?" Ghira asked.

"Mmm? Hmm, June 23thrd?" Arcee asked.

"It's the day you'll be heading out for Vale to finish your research mission and attend the Archaeologists Conference." Ghira chuckled. "Don't tell us you forgot about it. It's the only thing you'd been talking about for months since your application was accepted."

"That's today?" Arcee asked. "I completely forgot about it."

"It happens." Kali giggled. "But to celebrate, I've made your favorite breakfast to send you off."

"Wait, you mean you made pork cutlet and egg Katsudon?" Arcee smiled.

"That's right. An' the ingredients used in this are top quality." Kali said, putting a large 12inch ceramic mixing bowl down in front of Arcee.

"Thanks for the food." Arcee smiled, picking up her chopsticks before digging in.

"By the way Arcee, we learned that…"

"Ghira." Kali said. "Don't ruin the surprise."

"What surprise?" Kali asked, through a mouthful of rice.

"You'll know when you get to Beacon." Kali said. "Now eat up."

~Afterwards at the Harbor~

"You got everything you need Arcee?" Kali asked.

"You didn't forget anything did you?" Ghira questioned.

"I'm all packed, and got all my stuff ready to do." Arcee said, hoisting her bag over her shoulder.

Unlike her simple attire from before, Arcee was currently dressed in her signature outfit, consisting of an open back, sleeveless mesh top connected to a choker around her throat, with a matching open back red lined lace-up the back corset, that hugged her figure, and made her already perky J-Cup chest pop against the mesh fabric, stopping right above her belly button, with a pair of tights under a pair of daisy dukes, and martial arts combat heels on her feet, with her black hair tied off in a braid stopping midway down her back.

"I've even got mom's journal, and the other stuff I was able to salvage from our wrecked home. Including some of the treasures dad left behind, this satchel being one of them." Arcee stated, closing her book bag.

"You take care now. An' don't forget, you'll always have a home here." Ghira said, putting his arm around Kali's shoulders as the Belladonna woman began to tear up.

"I just don't know how I can ever repay you." Arcee said. "You've both done so much for me, I know I'm no replacement or substitute for your daughter, but you've both helped me so much these past years, I just don't know what I can do to say thanks."

"There's no need for that." Kali said, pulling Arcee in for a hug. "You're family, and there's no need for you to pay us back. We love you Arcee."

"An' I love you both as well." Arcee said, smiling as she hugged Kali back.

"Remind me again, why you have to leave two months early?" Ghira asked.

"During my last visit to Vale, I was so close to finding some ancient ruins that were said to have been completely destroyed during a natural disaster. Though there are many claims to what that disaster was, an earthquake, tornado, a volcanic eruption, or a flash flood from the ocean, if my research and investigation findings are accurate, I might actually just find where the location of those ruins are, and any treasures along with them." Arcee said, bringing out her notebook.

"You sure you wanna be a Huntress, not an Archeologist?" Kali giggled, wiping away the tears in her eyes.

"I'll admit, I'm kinda big on this historical discovery stuff. But I'm sure." Arcee smiled, putting the notebook back in her bag. "My mom was an Archeologist, but she said my dad was a great Huntsmen with power no one, not even Professor Ozpin, or the Grimm Reaper herself could surpass. So I wanna be like them both, as much as possible. I'll get my Huntress License first, then I'll get my degree as an Archeologist, while paying for tuition doing Huntress work."

"Alright, just take good care of yourself. An' remember, if you ever run into, him, again on your journey, just try to get out of there. No need to get into a fight that could end your life, just to feed his self righteous ego." Ghira said. "Now get going, your ship's about to leave."

"Right, I'll see you around. I'll try to write you every week." Arcee said, running up the boarding plank of the ship.

"That girl." Kali smiled.

"Hey, did she only have one bag on her?" Ghira asked, as the ship took off.

~Kingdom of Vale: 3Days Later, Port Side Town~

"I'm finally back in Vale." Arcee smiled, jumping off the ship. "That was my fastest trip yet."

Showing her identity, Arcee managed to make it through immigration with as little racist interactions as possible, and left for a chance to make it to her favorite tavern in the area. It was a place she knew well, and the staff knew her there just as well as she knew them.

"Izumi." Arcee called as she walked through the front door.

"Oh Arcee. Welcome back, here on another expedition for the Lost City?" Izumi asked, happy to see the Faunus girl.

"Somewhat. I'm also gonna be staying here for the next couple of months, until Beacon Exams come up." Arcee smiled.

"Oh how wonderful, our small town hero will officially be licensed." Izumi said.

"Pffft, pah-lease." An arrogant voice said from behind. "Like this stupid animal could actually do anything besides be bait for the Grimm."

Arcee turned to look over her shoulder, to see a well groomed ginger haired man in armor, with a mace over his shoulder.

"What you weigh? 99Lbs? You might seem fast for a Monkey but you're nothing special to me." The young man said. "The name's Cardin Winchester, and you're looking at the next best Huntsmen, so you better know your place when around me, filthy animal. Otherwise I'll put you in your place. So get lost, before I make you. I don't wanna share a tavern with some filthy primate. Maybe go find a tree to sleep in."

"Did you just call me a Monkey?" Arcee asked.

"Arcee, allow me to handle this." Izumi said, before turning to the back. "Sig honey, Arcee's back, and she's got a problem."

Cardin just looked at the black haired dreadlock woman seemingly annoyed, before the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard coming towards the reception desk. Cardin's fear grew and grew, as the hulking figure of a man, wearing a chefs apron that said, kiss the cook, with a meat cleaver in his hand, came out from the back and had an unamused expression on his face.

"Arcee. It's good to see you again." The man said greeting the girl.

"You too Sig." Arcee smiled.

"So, this the cause of the problem?" Sig asked, looking to Cardin, his tone changing a bit. It wasn't much of a change, but it was enough to indicate he wasn't happy.

"Yes. He's being racist and egotistical, while also trying to assert his dominance and superiority over Arcee." Izumi said.

"I see." Sig said, before looking back at Cardin. "Sir, with all due respect, you are entitled to your opinions. But I'm afraid that I'm gonna have to ask you to leave, and never return, as we do not tolerate racism or discrimination in this establishment."

"What? But I paid for two months for my room, in advance. Can't I at least get my money back if you're kicking me out?" Cardin asked.

"Sorry, but we require a 24hour notice ahead of time, in order to issue any refunds." Izumi said. "Should have thought about that before you decided to try and play the alpha male on the town hero."

"This freak is the town hero?" Cardin questioned pointing his mace at Arcee, before he was grabbed by the face by Sig.

"Care to repeat what you just called her?" Sig questioned, raising him off the ground, his hand wrapping entirely around Cardin's head.

"N-No sir. But may I ask, what makes her the town hero?" Cardin questioned.

"Read for yourself." Sig said, turning Cardin towards a framed news paper clipping.

"Local Faunus girl, receives key to the city, for saving the town of her birth from an attacking adolescent Leviathan, saving not only the town itself, but hundreds of lives in the process? Her deeds will forever be remembered and she shall be known as the Town Hero?" Cardin read aloud. "That has to be fake."

"It's genuine, I assure you. Even the mayor of the town could tell you it actually happened, as she gave Arcee the key to the city personally." Izumi said. "Now scram."

With that, Sig threw Cardin out the opened door, like he was pitching at a baseball game, and held up his hand, to show he had Cardin's copper key to his room.

"Here you go. Your room is already paid for." Sig smiled, handing Arcee the key.

"It's unused. He barely checked in ten minutes before you got here." Izumi smiled. "Feel free to sell his belongings for a little extra cash."

"Serves him right." Arcee smiled. "So, what's on the menu tonight?"

"I think, Sig knows what to make for tonight." Izumi said. "In celebration of your acceptance to Beacon, I'm sure he wouldn't mind making one of your favorites."

"Oh, is it that time already?" Sig asked with a smile, before turning and heading back to the kitchen. "I'll be sure to make it extra special."

"So, what are you gonna do while waiting for dinner?" Izumi asked.

"It's not for a while, so I'm gonna go and get back to checking for the ruins of the Dark Queens Citadel. But I'm gonna drop my stuff off in my room first." Arcee stated. "Expect for me to come back drenched and soaking wet."

"Oh, a lead on the Vanishing City? You know every inch of the ocean floors have been searched for any signs of it, but nothing came about aside from a few relics." Izumi said.

"But I think I may have discovered a clue to something others couldn't find." Arcee said, heading for the stairs. "I'll let you know what it is, if I find what I'm looking for."

"Alright. Have fun chasing fantasies, and the like." Izumi chuckled.

Entering her room on the second floor, Arcee sighed and put her bag down on the bed, and pushing Cardin's bags to the side, before sitting on the mattress and pulled a journal out from her bag. Flipping through the pages, Arcee's silver eyes landed on one of the previous entries made in the journal, landing on one of several entries that her mother had made in the pages of the bound paper and leather when she was still alive.

*Dear Diary: Today I managed to find an extraordinary discovery. I found the original temple, used to worship the Goddess that brought Faunus to the world, in the old fables and fairy tales of how our people came to be. But it seems I wasn't the only one searching, as when I had arrived, I found a man, a Faunus with a primates tail lying in front of the statue covered in injuries, and rather fatal marks of poisoning. I had found it odd that I hadn't activated any security measures by those who sealed the temple away.

*Dear Diary: Today, I discovered something incredible about the man I rescued from death. His name is Rycon, a divine being who came from beyond the stars, from a race of people known as the Saiyans. A Mighty Warrior Race, who are feared and respected among the other races, spread out across the stars of his universe. To demonstrate his power for me, he engraved a symbol onto the leather of my satchel, and now the amount of space within is limitless, and all I need to do if I wish to retrieve something, such as my journal, is stick my hand inside, and think about what I wish to retrieve. His engraved emblem also made it resistant to damage from the elements, even if doused in flames, sunk to the bottom of a lake, or poured over with acid, the bag remains untouched.

Arcee looked to the bag at her side, and saw the mark engraved on the main flap of the satchel, right in the center. She'd had this bag for many years, after her mothers passing, and didn't even question how it had such limitless space, until after the first time she read this entry in her mother's diary.

*Dear Diary: I have learned, that Rycon must return home soon, as he is a key player in part of keeping the delicate balance of Universe 13, our universe, in check and that his absence may cause it to fall apart, should he stay longer. His attendant, who appears to be an angel of some sort, has come to retrieve him, thus we had to say our goodbyes. I know not when I will see Rycon again, but I do know that I will always cherish the time we had, though brief it was.

Flipping the pages, Arcee traveled deeper into the diary, and stopped on an entry that she was familiar with, as it was book marked with a photo.

*Dear Diary: It has been almost a year since Rycon, the traveler from the stars had left my home, after I healed his injuries, and left with his attendant, Taquin. An' though I should not be surprised, he left me with something far more precious then memories, after our night of passion. I'm only 5'6", so this belly laden with child is quite the struggle to lug around, but I wouldn't trade this sensation for all the Lien in Remnant.

Slipping out of the pages, and into Arcee's hand, was a photo of a lightly tan skinned Faunus woman, with white tiger ears on top of her head, cradling a pregnant belly that looked massive on her lithe and diminutive frame. Arcee's mother wore a beige twill long sleeved shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows, and part of the shirt tied up under her chest like a gingham shirt, accompanied by the same book bag Arcee carried on her, along with black khaki pants, and her silver hair tied back in a ponytail, and a black leather fedora with holes for her cat ear on her head, and a leather jacket tied around her waist by the sleeves.

*Dear Diary: It has been a year and a half, since I found out I was with child. Though my baby has stopped growing in size, I can still feel her warmth as she moves deep within me. Many of the people in this quaint little seaside town are questioning whether or not the child is still alive within me. I don't know if this length of gestation is natural for the species of my child's father, but I do know I am treasuring every moment of this pregnancy, as if it were precious platinum.

Arcee looked back at the photo, and noticed the date on the bottom right corner aligned with the date of the entry she just read, which meant despite her mother's delicate condition with her, she still went on excavations, and adventures.

*Dear Diary: It's finally happened. After two years of gestation, my child finally chose to leave the sanctum of her home within me, and came into this world. She is a beautiful girl, I have named Arcelia, and she is the most precious thing I've ever seen or held within my arms, far beyond any treasure I've found. I had a home birth, as I didn't know how the hospital would react to my child, as taking a closer look at the ultrasound photo's, I saw not one, but two animal features upon her, one she inherited from me, and the other she inherited from her father. Though she inherited my ears, the tail she inherited from Rycon is that of the same race, a white and black striped tiger tail. My sister Sienna says it would be prudent to have one of them removed, as it is unnatural, but she doesn't know about Rycon, nor his origins, thus I will keep my daughter as she is, because every part of her is perfection.

Arcee smiled, reading her mothers words describing her. The first time she read through her mothers journal, it was a shock to her, finding out that her father, the man who helped to give her life, was not of Remnant, but was from far beyond the stars. Taking a deep breath, Arcee knew what was coming next, and flipped to the next entry within the journal.

*Dear Diary: It has been only three months, since my daughter Arcelia was born. I've taken to nicknaming her Arcee, as it means skilled fighter, or loving ones. I believe she will embody both, but at this moment, things are bleak for the both of us. We have been, acquired, by the recently named CEO and Successor of the SDC, Jacques Schnee, who if I'm not mistaken, just had his second child with his wife. The means in which he, employed, me and several other Faunus, were of illegal origins, to which I have no evidence to use to escape or take him to court. Currently, Arcee and I reside within an employee compound, where we live and sleep, in between my shifts in the mines. It's barely big enough for the both of us, but I've managed to meet some kind hearted elders, who have taken care of Arcee, as I am away in the Dust Mines. Jacques pays the Faunus practically scraps, that hardly make me capable of being able to feed Arcee, let alone the both of us. But since weaning, I sacrifice my earnings to buy formula and baby food for…

Arcee closed the book, and put it to the side, not wanting to read anymore.

"Why do I do this to myself?" Arcee questioned, tears in her eyes.

It had become a bit of a tradition for Arcee. Before she'd begin each expedition, she'd read those chapters from her mothers diary, but would always stop mid way through the entry detailing their capture by the SDC, thus she's never read through the entire thing. What she could recall of those days, were the fact that when she was old enough, and strong enough to hold a pick axe, Jacques put her to work right away; she was even marked as SDC property, and still had the scar on the underside of her forearm.

"I have to get going to the cliffside." Arcee said, reaching into her bag, and pulling out a swimsuit. "Hopefully, if all my calculations from the notes I took last time, are correct, I'll be able to find what I'm looking for. Thankfully, we Saiyans can hold our breath for hours, though I'm only a Half-Saiyan, but it still counts."

~Cliffside~

"Alright, the wind feels good, and the tide is low. This is the only shot I have before the tide comes in again." Arcee said, standing at the edge of the cliffside, wearing a black and red trimmed, twisted bandeau bikini top, with matching tankini bottoms, and her bag over her shoulder. "I've got at least six hours until then. Thankfully I'm a capable swimmer, so I should be able to get through the water fast. But the problem is if I stay there too long. If the tide comes back in when I'm still down there, then so do the Aquatic Grimm that inhabit the caves. I'm no good in a fight in a narrow area, so I'm gonna have to go with Thunder Storm for defense. Won't be able to use the Dust in them, but that's fine. My aura will be enough."

Reaching into her bag, Arcee pulled out a pair of brass knuckles, and put them in her cleavage before doing some simple stretches.

"Alright, time to get to it." Arcee said, stepping back before running forward, and taking a swan dive off the cliff, to the water bellow, all the while unaware of the person that came up from behind, and was following her.

Diving down deep into the water, Arcee corrected her position there, and began searching for anything to indicate her discovery had more then just speculation to it. Swimming along the length of the rock wall, Arcee kept searching for any indication, all the while fighting off the occasional Grimm that tried taking her life. The Aquatic Grimm, were rather weak in her opinion, and she didn't really have any trouble killing them if they came after her.

After searching along the length of the rock wall for several hours, occasionally having to come up for breath, Arcee was about ready to give up, before she noticed something glinting in the sunlight that managed to break through the waters surface.

'Could this be it?' She thought, swimming down to the glimmering light.

Reaching where the light had been shining, Arcee finds that it's a metal sphere, poking out from the pillar of corral and rust. Lighting up her hand with her aura, Arcee removes pieces of the coral, to find the sphere was part of what used to be a flag pole. Looking back up with a smile, Arcee looks at the rock wall, thinking that this problem may be simpler to solve then she initially thought.

'What if, the entrance is just hiding in plain sight, and no one's noticed yet.' Arcee thought, as she swam forward.

Bracing herself for impact, Arcee expected to either hit the wall, or pass through an entrance. Thankfully, when the shadow of the entrance washed over her, her smile grew as she passed through a large hole in the wall that had blended in perfectly with the wall inside it. Looking down each corridor, Arcee found there were two paths to take, one of them wide and plenty spacious, and the other narrow and tight. Searching through her memories, Arcee recalled a riddle she roughly translated from an ancient artifact she found during her last discovery, before selling it to the local museum, in which they were happy to pay for her asking price once authenticated.

'Upon the path you chose to follow, be it wide and easy, or straight and narrow. Upon the treasure you seek, depends on your way of life, be it bright or bleak.' Kali thought as she recalled the riddle. 'It's a test. The wider path indicating the passion of someone who wants to take the easy route, while the narrower one, indicates the passion of someone willing to work for their rewards.'

Turning right, Arcee took the narrow path, being unable to use her arms she relied solely on her kicking feet to get her through the narrow path. She paused for a moment, and with some maneuvering, she was able to reach her hand into her bag, and pulled out a waterproof flashlight, before pressing the button to turn it on.

'This path is getting harder to direct. The natural sunlight can't reach through here, the water's getting thicker, sort of like a syrup, and I'm pretty sure I'm being followed. Hopefully, whoever's following me, thinks it'll be easier to take the wider path.' She thought. 'Father only knows what lays in wait in that path.'

Swimming further into the path, Arcee found herself being slowly directed upwards, indicating to her that she was reaching the main entrance to the lost city. Turning off the flashlight, Arcee found that there was a natural light source coming from within the cave. Picking up the pace a bit, Arcee breached the water and took in a breath of surprisingly fresh air. Regaining her bearings, Arcee turned herself around, and her eyes widened at the sight of what they landed on.

"Whoa." Arcee gasped.

There, in the deepest recesses of the cavern was the lost city thought only to be myth. Most of the buildings had been destroyed, with what remaining being part of the castle, and surprisingly, the temple was in tact completely, and it seemed to be glowing with an odd power to it. But despite all the destruction she saw, the lost civilization still looked beautiful, and amazing. Looking up, Arcee was curious about the natural light that had filled the cavern, and gasped when she saw the bio-luminescent algae that clung to the ceiling of the cave like stars.

"Oh damn, it's all beautiful." Arcee said, pulling herself out of the pool of water. Walking along the path, Arcee was amazed by the beauty in the architecture that remained, she began taking massive amounts of photo's with her Scroll. "From what I can tell, it seems like this civilization was divided based on elemental affinity, if the emblems on each of the still standing buildings are anything to go by. I can see symbols for water, earth, fire, air, lava, lightning, and metal, but…"

The Half-Saiyan paused when she spotted one symbol she wasn't familiar with, it looked like the a tear drop but was dripping from a blade. Quickly taking out her own journal to record her findings, Arcee sketched out the eight different symbols she saw, labeling them each respectively, but put a question mark beside the one she didn't recognize. She had a feeling, this symbol represented something she wouldn't like.

"Alright, now let's see what's going on with the castle." Arcee said, running for the half destroyed castle.

Making her way into the lost building for royalty, Arcee took notice of the damage that had been done to the structure.

"This… doesn't look like natural disaster markings." Arcee stated. "These look more like scorch marks, and destruction caused by heavy impacts."

Further venturing into the unstable stone structure, Arcee found many artifacts the museum would pay her for, but she was more interested in studying them, rather then selling them. Collecting the artifacts, Arcee put each one in her satchel, no matter the size, it managed to fit within.

"I feel like a tomb robber doing this, but people deserve to know this civilization actually existed." Arcee said. "But that doesn't mean I can't take some treasure for myself to keep as a souvenir for my adventure in finding…"

Arcee stopped talking as the floor bellow her opened up, revealing a pit of spikes underneath, and she was falling right into it.

"Not good." Arcee cried out, before slamming her hands on the side of the wall, forcing herself to stop inches before the first spike could pierce her body. "Okay, note to self. Put in a little extra training time for evading death traps."

Pushing up with her hands, Arcee jumped against the walls, pulling herself out of the death trap, before flipping back onto solid ground.

"That was a close one." Arcee groaned, standing up. "I should be careful, making my way to the treasury, or the temple for that matter."

Making her way through the rest of the castle, Arcee was still getting the feeling that she was being watched.

"Seriously, whoever's following me, I know you're there." Arcee stated. "Hakai if that's you turn back now, or I'm kicking your ass, again."

There was silence, so Arcee continued on to where the treasury would most likely be in the castle. Unfortunately, upon arrival to the vault, all she found within was a key.

"A whole treasury, with guards and everything, just for a single key?" Arcee questioned, poking her head back out to the remains of the guards that protected the treasury. "It must be some key, if it'll invoke these men to give their lives just to stay at their posts, even when the citadel is swallowed up by the earth. Thankfully, the volcano nearby, hasn't erupted in millennia." She paused when a thought came to her. "But that begs the question… how did the city not burn to ash, when the lava would have destroyed it like a tidal wave in a tsunami?"

This gave Arcee plenty more to contemplate, but for now, after pocketing the key, she made her way back through the ruined town, and to the temple. The doors were locked with chains that had been welded together.

"Must have been some advanced civilization." Arcee said, breaking the chain. "Using Burn Dust to weld metal together wasn't even considered until four hundred years ago. An' this city is thousands, if not millions of years old."

Opening the doors, was not an easy feat. The hinges had been so rusted, she had to muster all the strength she could produce, just to get it started. Eventually though, she had managed to get the doors open, enough for her to get through just fine.

"This place… is really creepy. For a religious compound, who knows what… is in here." Arcee said, stopping as she reached the podium, and looked in shock and awe at the robed man sitting there, dressed similarly to the Faunus who treated the White Fang more as a religion, then an organization with prayer beads around his neck, and some sort of gemstone pendant hanging from it. But what shocked her the most was, the Monk barely looked any older then she was. "Creepy indeed. Uh, are you alive?"

Arcee just looked at the Monk, then at the prayer bead necklace around his neck. The gemstone pendant, looked rather odd. It was hexagonal and framed in gold, comprised of multiple colors, with their positions shifting places, depending on the lighting reflecting off the gem, but the pendant was no bigger, then a pill bottle cap.

"Whoa, no way could this be the…"

"This is a new low for you animal."

Arcee groaned, and turned around to face the man who'd been stalking her. There, standing in the doorway to the temple was a man with dirty blonde hair, wearing heavy biker armor, minus the jacket, with armored boots, a shotgun on his back, and a bone mask covering the top half of his face, similar to a White Fang soldiers.

"First your kind go around murdering innocent families, and now you're robbing graves, and ancient civilizations for your own personal gain." The man said.

"I knew you were following me Hakai."

"Not the entire time." Hakai said. "Thought you were stupid for taking the narrow path, so I took the wider one, and to my surprise, I run into a school of hungry ravenous Aqua Grimm."

"Do you actually know, what this place truly is? Honestly?" Arcee asked. "According to legend, this place is known as the first Faunus Settlement, in unrecorded history, outside of Menagerie. Going far back to the time, before Faunus even knew who or what they were."

"Still doesn't change what you're doing here." Hakai said.

"I'm here recording, documenting, and trying to bring the truth about this place to the world." Arcee stated.

"By robbing a dead man? A Monk?"

"I am bringing artifacts, to museums." Arcee stated. "It's honest work."

"When you're a licensed Archaeologist." Hakai stated, pulling his shotgun from his back. "You know, you are the only stain, on my otherwise spotless record of executing justice."

"Murdering hundreds of innocent Faunus, is not justice. It's mass genocide." Arcee said.

"It's cleansing the world, of filth like you." Hakai said, pointing his weapon at her. "All Faunus are nothing more then stains on this world. A mistake of the Gods that shall be undone, by my hand. The Gods have spoken, given me this holy task, and it shall be done."

"Unfortunately, you know as well as I, that the best you could hope to do with those rounds, it give me some serious bruising." Arcee chuckled, not even phased by the threatening situation. "But that was before my Aura was unlocked, and I managed to learn what my Semblance is."

Hakai just glared at Arcee, and pulled the trigger on his shotgun, hitting the dead Monk in the head, and causing him to fall over, as Arcee ducked down and evaded the blast. Hitting Hakai with a roundhouse kick, Arcee knocked him back, before reaching down and pulling the prayer bead necklace off the Monk. But she was stopped, and screamed in fear when the Monk grabbed her wrist, and spoke, with half his face destroyed.

"The savior shall rise, and the darkness shall fall. Wield this power with honor, and heed the call. Your destiny isn't chosen, your future unclear. Save our home from the destroyer, whosoever draws near." The Monk said, as his body began turning to ash. "Find the source in the ruins deep. May Emeralds guide the path, to your powers keep."

Arcee just looked at the ashes of what used to be the Monk, before she stood up, and turned back to Hakai, as he was picking himself up, and went running for her, with Arcee running at him.

"Now who's the one who defiles graves?" Arcee questioned, hitting Hakai with a punch to the face.

"You will not get away from me this time, animal filth." Hakai growled, grabbing Arcee's arm as she tried to leave.

"An' I'm still too underaged for you to be grabbing like this." Arcee stated, kicking him right between the legs, causing him to fall forward as the ground began to shake, with the building collapsing around them.

"What the hell did you do?" Hakai questioned.

"The power keeping the Monk alive all these millennia, must have been what's been keeping this citadel protected from the lava." Arcee said, as she ran outside and saw waterfalls of molten stone breaking through the ceiling. "Hakai, we can settle this little Faunus issue of yours later." She exclaimed, turning back to look at him as she put the prayer bead necklace in her bag. "Right now, the power that's kept this place safe from the magma, is dying, and we're both dead if we don't leave right now."

Hakai just looked at Arcee, groaning in pain as he walked, and picked up his shot gun, putting it in the holster on his back.

"Temporary truce?" Hakai questioned.

"Good enough for me." Arcee said.

"Which way do we go?"

"We take the path of the narrow route. There aren't any Grimm, and the water will protect us from the heat." Arcee stated.

"Slight problem. I'm not a fast swimmer, and my frame won't fit through that path, another reason why I took the wider path." Hakai said.

"You got a better idea?" Arcee asked.

"I do. Remember those Grimm I mentioned?"

"Yeah?"

"I killed them. Let's go." Hakai said.

"We'll take the respective paths we came through." Arcee said, as they ran for the edge of the hidden civilization. "Forgive me for not exactly trusting you won't stab me in the back and leave me to drown, once we're underwater."

Leaping through the air, Arcee and Hakai went through their respective entryways narrowly evading the lava that came flooding over like a tidal wave. In the water, Arcee swam as fast as she could, in the narrow space, the lava was somehow keeping its heat and liquid form in the water, not solidifying into stone once it touched the cold liquid. The water around her was rising in temperature, and it was starting to get uncomfortable for her. In her haste to escape, Arcee's top caught onto a protruding rock as she swam by, causing her eyes to widen when she felt the pressure of it being pulled off.

'No, no, no.' She mentally screamed.

~Curtis Tavern~

"Sig honey, take a look outside." Izumi said, looking out the window. "What is that, smoke?"

"No, it's steam." Sig said coming to the window. "What could be the cause?"

"Sorry I'm late returning." Arcee's voice called to them, as she came through the front door.

"Ah Arcee, welcome…"

Izumi stopped when she saw Arcee walking past the reception desk, with her arms crossed over her chest, and her skin a bright red like she'd been dunked in boiling water.

"What happened?" Izumi asked, throwing Sig's apron over his eyes to keep him from seeing Arcee in such a state.

"Let's just say, I lost my top trying to escape a situation with Hakai." Arcee said, going to the stairs. "I'll be in my room. Call me for dinner when it's ready, yeah?"

"Sure thing." Izumi said, as Arcee vanished from sight.

"What do you think's eating her?" Sig asked.

"Considering she just had to walk through town square, wearing nothing but the bottom half of her tankini, I'm sure she's quite embarrassed about strutting through town like that and wants to be left alone for a while." Izumi said.

"Understandable." Sig said. "Think she found what she was looking for?"

"I get the feeling she did." Izumi said. "But there's something she's not telling us."

Up in Arcee's room, the Half-Saiyan relaxed her arms, and changed into her pajamas, with the shirt as she was still going to be descent for when she had dinner. While she waited to be called down, she took the necklace of prayer beads, and examined the jewel.

"The Monk said, to find the power source. But what does that mean?" Arcee questioned.

Reaching into her bag, and sitting on her bed, she looked through her mother's journal again, and read over the parts, describing into more detail about her father's powers.

"If I could only use these abilities, like he can, I know I could find a better path to free the Faunus, then the dark path the White Fang's traveling down." Arcee sighed. "No point dwelling on it though. I'm not able to use them, then I shouldn't be torturing myself with trying to figure out ways to do so."

Rummaging through her bag, Arcee pulled out the key she found in the treasury, and examined it, before realizing the key was covered in dirt and grime.

"Let's see what you really look like." Arcee smiled, pulling her mothers archaeological tools from her bag.

"Knock-knock." Izumi said, opening Arcee's door. "Dinner's almost ready Arcee. Should be done in about five minutes."

"Thanks." Arcee said.

"What you got there?" Izumi asked.

"A couple of artifacts I found. One of them, I found in such a bizzar way, you'd call me crazy for telling you how I did." Arcee stated.

"Oh really?" Izumi asked. "An' the key?"

"Something I found in the treasury. I actually found the sunken city, and it was beautiful." Arcee said, showing Izumi the photos on her Scroll.

"That's great. Arcee, you've managed to do something most archaeologists could only dream of." Izumi said.

"Unfortunately, those photo's and some pottery are the only things I'm gonna be able to show the world of its existence." Arcee stated. "Once I grabbed this amulet, the whole structure began falling apart, with lakes of magma burning everything down."

"What about the amulet and key?" Izumi asked.

"I've been entrusted to guard this amulet, by the Monk who'd been in a suspended state of animation to have it before me." Arcee said. "An' I think this key is somehow connected to it. I just don't know how yet."

"Did either of them come with anything else?" Izumi asked.

"Well, the amulet came with a riddle." Arcee said. "'The savior shall rise, and the darkness shall fall. Wield this power with honor, and heed the call. Your destiny isn't chosen, your future unclear. Save our home from the destroyer, whosoever draws near. Find the source in the ruins deep. May Emeralds guide the path, to your powers keep.' After that, the ruins fell to destruction, so I was forced to call a truce with Hakai for our escape."

"Well, he's not as fast as you, so here's hoping he was hurt during the ruins demise." Izumi said. "But it sounds to me, like the riddle is saying your fate isn't set in stone, and it's referring to the Emerald Forest."

"Wait, the forest near Beacon Academy?" Arcee asked.

"The Emerald Forest is often referenced in poems about romance and heartache between forbidden lovers like that." Izumi said. "Mainly because of the old castle and temple ruins that litter the forest grounds."

"That has to be it." Arcee stated.

"While I'm glad to help you figure out the riddle, I think you should come down and eat. It's not wise to work on an empty stomach, and after the day you've had, I'm sure you're famished." Izumi said.

"You bet I am." Arcee smiled, hiding the key and pendant away in her satchel, before heading for the door. "Looks like I'm gonna have to wait until I get into Beacon, to unlock the power the amulet holds. But that's fine, I'm more then happy to train while I wait."

~Airship to Beacon: Day of Departure~

"Yes, thank you Professor. The check was more then I was expecting to receive." Arcee said, speaking with someone over the Scroll. "No, I'm grateful to you for hearing me out."

"The museum was more then happy to pay you for those artifacts and images you brought in, once their authentication had been verified. Still, I cannot believe you had actually found the Vanishing City of the Dark Queens Citadel." The Museum Professor said. "Your mother would be so proud of you."

"Thank you Professor Oobleck. I'll be seeing you at Beacon right?" Arcee asked.

"Oh yes, while I do like my position here at the museum, I cannot forget about my position as a teacher at Beacon Academy." Oobleck said. "An' it's Dr. Oobleck."

"Right." Arcee chuckled. "I'll see you in class then."

Hanging up her Scroll, Arcee smiled when she felt like she was finally accomplishing the life, that her mother had planned for her. Her attention was soon drawn by an over excited voice to a busty blonde and a black haired girl, whose hair grated into red at the bangs.

"Oh yeah. I'm on my way to Beacon with my favorite baby sister. Best day ever, Ruby!" The blonde cheered, hugging her sister tightly, crushing her face into her monster cleavage.

"Yang, please stop…" Ruby said, sounding like she couldn't breathe, as she struggled out of her sister's death hug.

"But I'm so proud of you…" Yang smiled letting go of the hug, jumping a bit.

"Please sis, it was nothing." Ruby stated.

"Are you kidding me? What you did to get in was incredible, everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees." Yang smiled. "Gaining the attention of the Headmaster, that's something to be proud of."

Hearing that, Arcee was reminded of when she was offered a chance to go to Beacon. They were fond memories, as that was the first time she met Dr. Oobleck. Her musings about the past were interrupted, as her attention was drawn to the holographic news report, being announced by Lisa Lavender.

"Today is the first day of the new arrivals to Beacon Academy. Good Luck future Huntsmen, we trust that you'll protect the people. For our next story, a riot broke out, when members of the White Fang, forced their way into a recent Faunus rights protest. The chaos was subdued however, when a lone figure, a teenaged Faunus, stepped before the marching White Fang Forces, and easily took them all down in a battle royal like conflict." Lisa said, as the footage switched from her, to the White Fang attack, and Arcee stepping in their way, to prevent the terrorist attack. "When asked about what drove her to do this, she simply said, they were giving Faunus a bad name, so I stepped in to teach them a lesson."

"Did they have to show that footage of me?" Arcee questioned, a blush on her face as she grew weary of the looks the potential students were giving her. "Now everyone's staring."

"Suspicious of the White Fangs involvement in repeated Dust incidents, the Schnee Dust Company, currently the leader in the Dust Trade Industry, is declaring their acts to fortify and fight against the acts of terrorism hitting their shipments." Lisa continued.

"Figures." Arcee sighed. "One foiled attack on a Peace Summit, is not gonna stop their plans in its, gah." She groaned as she accidentally bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're… Huh?"

Who she saw though, she wasn't expecting to see.

Right in front of Arcee, was a pale-skinned young woman with pale blue eyes and long white hair pulled back into an off-center bun tail on the right side and pinned with an icicle shaped tiara. A crooked scar ran vertically down her left eye and face.

She wears a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue at the hem. A small piece of black lace sits in the front of her neckline and the hem of the dress is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle under the skirt. Over this she wears a bell-sleeved bolero with the same color gradation as her dress from shoulder to wrist, lined in red and with a ruffled collar.

Around her neck, Arcee spotted a small apple pendant on a thing silver chain, and thin rectangular silver earrings hanging from her ear lobes. Her boots were white, wedged heeled and higher at the back than the front. They have a small silver decoration across the top of the foot and are lined in red. A thin white sash is tied around her waist with a pouch attached to the back. Breast Size: C-Cup.

She was also someone, Arcee had a nasty history with.

"What in the world are you doing here?" The white haired girl asked, crossing her arms looking at Arcee. "Did you stow away to sneak into Beacon? Is the White Fang trying to take down the Huntsmen Academies now?"

"Schnee." Arcee sneered. "Not that it's any of your business, but I got a full ride scholarship Beacon. I'm not with the White Fang, not since I left it with High Leader Ghira."

"Still doesn't change the fact you were part of a terrorist organization." Weiss stated. "I'd bet good money you're still part of their ranks, and you're just on an undercover mission to destroy Beacon."

"Say what you will, but we both know who the real villainess is here, and it ain't the girl whose mother was killed in a mine shaft explosion." Arcee stated. "How's your mother doing by the way? Still an alcoholic drunk?"

"You leave her out of this!" Weiss huffed.

"I will once your father confesses to willfully endangering the lives of innocent Faunus, and not warning them about the unstable and unsafe conditions of the mines that killed all those enslaved Faunus." Arcee stated.

"The SDC has never enslaved a single person. We give all our workers, wages." Weiss stated.

"Human workers. We Faunus are treated as nothing more then slave labor by your father." Arcee stated. "I know, because…"

"Whoa, whoa hold up." Yang said, coming into the conversation, and interrupting the argument. "Let's just calm things down here, and step away from one another."

Arcee huffed, and turned away from Weiss, her arms crossing over her chest.

"Look, what's the problem here?" Yang asked.

"The problem, is that Faunus is accusing my father of blatant lies." Weiss stated.

"Lies? I lived in your fathers enslavement camp, from my earliest memories, to the day I escaped." Arcee stated. "So don't go telling me, what I did, or did not experience."

"Okay, enough of that." Yang said, pushing on Arcee's back. "We'll be leaving you be now, Ms. Schnee. Good day."

Arcee groaned, as Yang pushed her away, before the blonde stopped, and looked at her.

"Listen, I know you might be mad, but try not to cause a scene on the airship to Beacon." Yang said.

"She's the one who started it." Arcee said.

"Be that as it may, you're going to Beacon now, so you gotta behave a little better." Yang stated. "My name's Yang Xiao Long."

"Arcelia Ka, but my friends call me Arcee." She said.

"Well Arcee, it's nice to meet ya." Yang smiled. "Wanna chat over a couple drinks? My treat."

"Mmm, sure why not." Arcee said with a smile. "I'm feeling better about this already."

~A Short While Later~

"Seriously, your mom was the current White Fang High Leaders little sister?" Yang asked.

"She was. But my mom never really wanted to be part of the White Fang, even back when it was a peaceful protest faction." Arcee explained. "I only joined the White Fang, because I had nowhere to go after she died, and I escaped that SDC Enslavement Camp."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Yang said. "I know what it's like to lose your mom."

"You too huh?" Arcee asked.

"Yeah, she was an amazing Huntress. Ruby and I always called her Supermom, because she'd fight Grimm, and bake amazing cookies." Yang chuckled. "I can barely remember her smile, without the family photo at my bedside."

"I have a photo of my mom too, but it was when she was pregnant with me." Arcee said. "The most I can remember about her, was her smile always being there, even when she was exhausted. She was my Supermom, you know?"

"I can relate." Yang said.

"Yang." The sound of Ruby's voice called out. "Where are you? Vomit boy got some of his gunk on my shoe."

"I gotta go, my sis is calling for me. But It was nice meeting you Arcee, hope we end up on the same team at Beacon." Yang smiled, heading for where her sister was.

"Same." Arcee said.

Arcee was left alone again, thinking about how she'd like to be on Yang's team, before her attention was drawn, but the sound of someone's shocked voice, right in front of her.

"Arcee?"

Arcee's ears perked up hearing that voice, her gaze raising ever so slowly until they reached the familiar amber eyes of her long time childhood friend.

The girl standing there before her in shock, wore a black buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front, over top a white sleeveless, high necked cropped undershirt, and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg.

Her foot and legwear consisted of black low-heeled combat boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. Her emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose scarf is wrapped around her neck and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair. A ribbon is tied with a large bow on the top of her head. She wears purple eyeshadow in catseye style. Breast Size: H-Cups.

"Blake?" Arcee asked.

"Arcee."

"It really is you." Arcee said in a cheerful tone, hopping to her feet and hugging Blake tightly, similarly to how Yang had been hugging Ruby earlier. "Oh it's so good to see you again Blake."

"Arcee, what are you doing here?" Blake asked. "Did my parents send you to try and talk me into coming home?"

"No." Arcee said, separating from the single sided hug. "In fact I had no idea you were even gonna be attending Beacon. I'm here for the entrance exams, because I wanna be a Huntress, and an Archeologist, just like my mother."

"That's quite a goal. But I doubt you'll be able to become an archeologist at Beacon." Blake said.

"Not with Dr. Oobleck there to help me." Arcee said. "He was classmates with my mom, so I'm gonna be taking archaeology lessons from him."

"Sounds like you've already got things handled then." Blake said, sounding a little down.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Arcee asked.

"It's just… No one here knows I'm, you know."

"A Faunus?" Arcee inquired in a hushed tone.

"Right." Blake said. "I'm just wanting to make a difference. I left the White Fang, because I saw the organization for what it truly was, when Adam showed his true heartless nature during our last joint mission. So I decided I'm gonna do things my way, and I'm gonna do it with people knowing who I am, rather then what I am."

"As nice as that idea is Blake, it's not gonna last for long. Especially with that Weiss Schnee attending Beacon." Arcee huffed. "I've already had a run in with her."

"Sounds like it didn't go over very well." Blake said, as they sat down.

"It didn't." Arcee sighed. "So, want anything to drink? I just sold a bunch of artifacts to the Museum in Vale, so I'm sure you'd like something a bit more pricey. My treat."

"A can of Mistral(Arizona) Fruit Punch sounds good right about now." Blake said.

"Dang, you've never gone for that stuff. Tried it and changed your mind, did ya?" Arcee asked.

"I'll admit, your constant nagging on getting me to try it did have some help with that." Blake said. "It's better then I thought."

"Two Mistral Fruit Punch's coming up." Arcee smiled, getting up and heading for the vending machine.

Humming a tune to herself, as she was in a good mood, Arcee pressed a Lien card to the card reader on the vending machine, and selected the drinks, grabbing them before the mood was soured, by the sound of a familiar voice, that to her was the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard, and just as annoying.

"Hey, animal."

Arcee groaned, seeing Cardin's reflection in the glass, before she turned around and was instantly pinned to the vending machine, with Cardin's fist hitting glass next to her head.

"You're gonna pay me back, all the lien I spent on that shitty tavern. Every, last, Lien!" He growled, getting in her face. "I don't know what kinda mind shit you pulled to get them to worship you like that, in that crummy sea side town, but it ain't gonna work on me."

"They kicked you out of the Tavern, because you broke the rules." Arcee stated. "It's not my fault, you're such a douche bag racist."

"I just say it, how it is. Filthy animals like you, aren't worth anything, and are only good for acting as bait for the real Huntsmen fighting Grimm, and free physical labor." Cardin stated. "Now give me my money."

"I'm not giving you nothing but a black eye." Arcee stated, a guttural, almost primal animal growl, emanating from her throat.

"I'd like to see an animal like you even try." Cardin stated, his hand wrapping around her throat, cutting the circulation of oxygen off from the rest of her body.

"Excuse me." Someone said, tapping on Cardin's shoulder.

"Eh?" Cardin asked, looking over his shoulder.

Standing there behind him, was a teenaged girl, wearing a collared black sleeveless vest, with a blue central front section with red accents, a vest with her personal emblem, on the back. Under the vest, she wore a white sleeveless t-shirt with a heart-shaped cutout above her breast, exposing some cleavage, in the center accompanied with a pair of white detached sleeves on each arm, and a pair of light pink fingerless gloves, while sporting a short pink skirt with a single white layer under it.

Her white ankle boots sported pink soles with part of her emblem, the lighting bolt, on them and low heels with pink laces, the tops are folded over revealing the pink lining. She also wears a silver armor piece that wraps around waist, under her breasts and around the back on her neck with metal connecting each piece together at the front, and a turquoise bow at the back of her skirt.

"The hell do you want?" Cardin questioned. "Can't you see I'm busy disciplining this animal?"

"Don't you mean, physically abusing a woman?" She questioned, her smile sending shivers down Cardin's spine. "So we're gonna make this real simple for you, okay? Let her go, or…"

The girl paused as a semiautomatic hand gun was aimed right at the side of Cardin's head, the clicking of the hammer causing Cardin to look directly at it, with the sight of the wielder being a young man, wearing a dark green, diagonally-buttoned, long-sleeved tailcoat, with black and gold trimming and pink cuffs. The trimming goes down the right side of his torso and forms a black collar, while wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt beneath the suit and light-tan pants with black shoes, and his hair tied back in a low ponytail.

"You're gonna get a face full of Burn Dust. An' even with your Aura, you won't last long after the second bullet at point blank range." The young man said. "Drop her."

Cardin growled, before he looked back at Arcee, giving her throat one more squeeze for good measure, before letting her go, and dropping her to the ground.

"We're not finished here, animal." Cardin said, walking away from her.

"Thanks for that." Arcee coughed, as the orange haired girl helped her up.

"What was his deal?" The orange haired girl asked.

"It seemed like his grudge with you was personal." The young man said, putting away his weapons.

"He's just pissed because he got himself kicked out of a tavern he'd paid to stay ate, a month in advance." Arcee said. "So rather then accepting the fact that he's a racist bigot, he's blaming me for his own arrogance and stupidity."

"Speaks volumes of his IQ then." The orange haired girl said. "I'm Nora."

"Lie Ren."

"Arcelia Ka, but call me Arcee." She smiled. "Can I get you something to drink, as a thanks for stepping in?"

"Ooh, I'll take a…"

"Root Beer, and I'll have a tea." Ren stated.

"C'mon Ren." Nora huffed.

"You know what caffeine does to you." Ren stated.

"Fine." Nora said.

"So, I take it you two have known each other for quite a while?" Arcee asked.

"Practically our whole lives." Nora smiled. "We've been together through thick and thin. Well not, together-together."

"I get the gist." Arcee snickered.

"What about you, traveling on your own?" Ren asked, as Arcee handed them the drinks she bought.

"Yeah, but I ran into someone I see as a sister, so it's all good." Arcee said. "It was nice meeting the two of you. Hope to see you around friends."

"See you around then." Ren smiled, as Arcee walked off.

"Take care. An' if that guy gives you anymore trouble, let me know and I'll break his legs." Nora stated.

Arcee just chuckled at Nora's nonchalant attitude towards breaking some ones bones, before she stopped as she bumped into someone.

"Oops, sorry my bad." Arcee said.

"Oh, no worries." The redhead smiled politely, before they recognized one another.

"Hey aren't you…" Arcee began, before she was interrupted.

"What are you doing here?" Weiss questioned, showing she'd been talking to the redhead.

"I'm just grabbing some drinks for me and a friend." Arcee stated. "Not that it's any of your concern."

"Oh, you two already know one another." The redhead Amazonian asked, sounding surprised.

"We've met, and fought." Arcee stated.

"I'd be careful who you associate yourself with." Weiss said. "This Faunus is a no good liar, and a White Fang spy."

"Uh-huh." The redhead said skeptically, before turning to Arcee. "So how's life been for you since the tournament Arcee?"

"Oh just great Pyrrha." Arcee said with a smile, enjoying the look of utter shock on Weiss's face when she realized they already knew one another. "I managed to find the Dark Queens Citadel, before it was destroyed by rivers of molten lava. I managed to bring back quite a few artifacts and photos I sold to the Museum before the Citadel was destroyed though. The museum's gonna hold a press conference, with Dr. Oobleck taking the lead, and they're gonna name an entire wing of the museum after me, when putting the Dark Queens Citadel Exhibit together."

"No way, congrats on that Arcee." Pyrrha smiled.

"Hold it." Weiss said, butting in. "How do you two already know one another?"

"We've faced off against each other in the tournament." Pyrrha smiled. "I think the first time we met, was at the first tournament I won."

"The tournament before that actually." Arcee smiled. "I won that, and you vowed to get strong enough to beat me."

"Oh right, I remember now. I've beaten you four years running now." Pyrrha smiled, before looking to Weiss. "So as you can see, I'm already well acquainted with Arcee, and can vouch for her reasons for coming to Beacon, and her claims of leaving the White Fang. But I'll heed your advice, so our conversation is done here."

Weiss just looked at Pyrrha, before her gaze turned to Arcee, who stuck her tongue out in victory, while holding up a peace sign with her right hand, at the heiress.

"Better luck manipulating the next sap who decides to listen to you Schnee." Arcee said with a laugh.

"Why you little…" Weiss huffed as she got angry.

Before Weiss, or anyone could say or do anything else, two holograms of both Professors Goodwitch and Ozpin, showed up in the middle of the Airship, shocking some of the potential students.

"Welcome to Beacon everyone. My name is Glynda Goodwitch. I will be one of your instructors." Glynda said. "Professor Ozpin has something to say to you."

"Every single one of you, has trained to become warriors. Today, the true value of your training, will be evaluated, in the Emerald Forest Test." Ozpin said.

"There's gonna be a test, and it's not even the first official day yet?" Arcee asked. "That's Beacon for you I guess."

"Make your way to the old temple, and eliminate any Grimm you should encounter." Ozpin continued. "If you don't, your life may be forfeit."

"You will partner with the first person you make eye contact." Glynda added. "Two pairs will make a four person team."

"These will be your teammates for your four years of study." Ozpin said.

"Partners, and teams? Guess Kali and Ghira did warn be about that, so looks like I gotta play nice with whoever I team up with." Arcee said in thought.

"The Temple contains several relics. Each pair will choose one, and bring it back to Beacon Cliff." Ozpin continued. "We will be watching, but we will not intervene. You must make it through on your own."

"We will arrive at the starting location momentarily." Glynda stated. "Please make your preparations before then. We hope for your success in battle."

"Shall we prepare for battle?" Pyrrha asked.

"I left my weapon in one of the lockers. Plus someone's waiting on me." Arcee smiled.

"Then I won't hold you up any longer." Pyrrha said. "Take care Arcee."

"You too Nikos. I hope to see you in the forest." Arcee smiled.

Heading back to where she left Blake, Arcee gave the girl her requested drink, before they both made their way to the lockers they left their weapons in. The lockers were optional, making it easier for some of the students to relax a bit before the Emerald Forest Test. Though this was gonna be an interesting adventure, to see if she could find the source of power for the amulet around her neck.

The Airship continued on its path, before it stopped in midair, and began to descend slowly, docking right next to Beacon Cliffs. With the platform extending out, allowing for the students to get off, Arcee couldn't help but feel a bit nervous, and excited at the same time, while securing her sword to her hip. The instant Arcee tried following Blake off the ship, she was grabbed by the throat once more, and pinned to the wall, revealing it was Cardin again.

"I told you, I wasn't done with you bitch." Cardin stated.

"Let go of me." Arcee said, her fingers making it possible to have some breathing room in his grasp.

"Not until you give me my money, or Beacon's gonna have one less animal stinking up its halls." Cardin hissed, holding her up. "I could kill you right now, and the City of Vale, would throw me a parade, because nobody cares, about a stupid animal like yourself."

"I don't owe you any money, and I don't plan on giving you a single cent." Arcee glared, spitting in his face.

"Why you little…" Cardin growled, pulling back his fist to strike her, as he squeezed tighter on her throat.

"That's enough." A new voice said, as a gloved hand grabbed Cardin's forearm, before he could throw the punch.

Arcee looked to her savior, and saw a young man with short wavy black hair and blue eyes. Looking him up and down in awe, Arcee saw he wore a black crew neck t-shirt under a greatly detailed golden "S" shield emblem on his chest. Over the shirt, he sported a short sleeved dark blue jacket with gold cuffs and red trimming and lining as well as a pair of blue jeans and red calf high zipper boots with a single buckle around each of them, with a pair of black fingerless knuckle gloves on his hands.

"Let her go, now!" He stated.

"Or what farm boy?" Cardin questioned.

The farm boy didn't respond with anything verbal, as his grip on Cardin's forearm tightened, causing the metal bracer to creak as it was being crushed. Cardin's eyes widened in pain, as he could feel the farm boy crushing his forearm along with the bracer.

"Okay, okay you win. I give." Cardin said, letting go of Arcee.

"Good." The farm boy said, before leading Arcee away from the scene.

"Thanks for the save. Though not to sound ungrateful or anything, but I didn't need your help." Arcee said.

"Oh I know." He said. "I just really hate that guy. Something about him just grinds my gears."

"Okay, I get it now." Arcee said. "Not trying to be the hero saving the damsel, you were just looking for an excuse to fight him."

"Pretty much." The farm boy said. "My name's Clark, Clark Kent."

"Arcelia Ka, but my friends call me Arcee." She said, shaking his hand.

"Can I count myself among them?" Clark asked.

"We'll see." Arcee smiled. "Hope to see you at Beacon, Superboy."

"Uh actually it's…" Clark began as Arcee walked away. "Superman."

"That's yet to be seen." Arcee said, looking over her shoulder flirtatiously, with a sashay of her hips, that practically hypnotized Clark.

"Whoa." He said, awestruck at her movements. "I can't tell if she's being serious, or just toying with me."

Arcee smiled, as she thought about how her first interaction with Clark happened. It was like something out of a romance novel, a chance encounter she'd dreamed about having ever since she was old enough to know what romance actually was, and what adults did behind closed doors.

"You seem happy." Blake said as Arcee stepped up next to her. "Did you meet someone special on the way to the cliffside?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." Arcee smirked.

"The test, will now begin." Ozpin said, bringing their attention to him and Goodwitch. "Please take your positions."

Taking their positions on the platforms, Arcee smiled as she felt like she knew what this test was gonna begin with.

"Get ready students. Prepare your landing strategy." Glynda said.

"All right, this is gonna be fun." Arcee heard Yang cheer from the other end of the platforms.

"She's happy." Blake said.

"Well, this is gonna be fun." Arcee smiled. "It's the start of a brand new adventure after all!"

Hey, just a little note. This is the series I'd been meaning to post, involving an OC of mine, named Arcelia Ka, Arcee for short. I'd intended on posting this, not long after Dragon King of the West, posted their, Legion of the Multiverse story, since Arcee is in it.

I went with a Laura Croft, Indiana Jones theme, when creating Arcee. Hope you readers like it.

Essentially, this is the world Arcee from Legion of the Multiverse, comes from. There were a few details I added last minute that shouldn't affect DKW's story, such as the Justice League inclusion, and Arcee's Silver Eyes. Also, you can probably guess, who I'll be teaming Arcee up with, but can you guess who her other two teammates are gonna be? Try taking a guess from the team name down bellow.
