Here is another long chapter. Enjoy yourselves~

Morning the next day, a yawn escaped Kiran's lips as she got on the bus on her way to school, with Meg by her side.

"You sound tired, Kira," Meg stated, resting on her lap, as Kiran sat on an empty seat.

"I am…" Kiran groaned. "I'm so glad I did my homework at the library yesterday… I did not have any sort of energy to do anything after arriving home…"

After the Digimon incident by the gym, as soon as they heard sirens approaching their area, Kiran and Bill hastily picked up their downed Digimon and ran off, with Will following suit, his Coredramon reverting back to being a Dracomon. Thankfully, they didn't get found by an officer, but Kiran was not feeling at ease at all. A damage that big? With the possibility that someone- namely one of the victims- caught sight of them in the area before they left or as they were leaving?

She had been physically exhausted enough- an exhaustion she thought she slept off- but adding on these worries made it worse for her. Her head especially.

"Hopefully today's lessons will be easy. I'll even take a pop quiz if it lets me relax a bit without the teacher chewing me out," she groaned again, leaning back in her seat, placing an arm over her eyes.

Just then, the bus stopped and opened its doors. Meg turned and saw someone familiar walk on. "Ah! Kira friend!"

Kiran lowered her arm slightly and saw her friend, Rebecca, approaching her. "Hey. Someone looks dead today," she greeted, sitting next to her.

"I feel dead," Kiran retorted with a light chuckle.

"Was yesterday's homework too much for that healing head? I actually thought it was easy."

"If I had trouble with a homework you thought was easy, I'll be crying while Tristy makes me into a laughingstock."

Rebecca snickered at those words. "I can definitely see that happening."

Though the pair were joking, Meg didn't think they were, as she pouted at Rebecca for making fun of Kiran. Before she could get a word out, Kiran- still cautious that her voice may still get heard at some point- gently covered her mouth.

"But in all seriousness, why do you look dead? Too many customers at the restaurant yesterday?" Rebecca asked.

"Not exactly…" Kiran answered. "More that… I may have gotten a bit too physical yesterday?"

Her response only served to confuse Rebecca. "'Physical'? Don't tell me you went out swimming. In that condition? I know you like the water, but still."

Kiran could only let out a nervous laugh. It wasn't as though she could tell her what she really did yesterday. It was better if she pretended she did try to swim. "Yeah. Something along those lines," she lied.

Rebecca could only sigh at the response given. "You truly are a diehard swimmer. Oh right! Did you hear the news today?"

Kiran flinched at the question asked. The news? Could it be about…? "Depends on which one," she carefully answered.

"Apparently, there was another explosion yesterday. This time at a gym." Kiran paled at the response. Of course that would be the news.

"A gym? Why there of all places?" she asked, feigning ignorance.

"No one knows. But that's not the weirdest thing. Some people passing by there said there was some strange wind passing by there, too."

This part of the news especially got Kiran's attention. Strange wind? "Strange how?"

"Strange enough to make some people believe ghosts and spirits exist. One even said that this town may have gotten haunted by a… What's it called? A kamaitachi, I think it was?" Rebecca explained.

Kiran thought back to the damage caused in the area, recalling there to be some claw marks, made by MadLeomon. "That does sound frightening. It would probably explain why electronics and systems these days have been acting up," she stated.

"What? Don't tell me you actually believe in ghosts," Rebecca said.

"How else would you explain all these happenings? Besides, the police hasn't been successful in finding the person behind all these hacking incidents. I'm willing to believe in ghosts at this rate."

'Especially if these 'ghosts' are actually Digimon,' Kiran mentally added.

Rebecca thought over the point made. "Hm… I guess so. Too bad most people don't buy that."

Once they arrived at school, the pair were approached by one certain individual.

"Ah, Umira-san." They turned and saw it was none other than Bill who walked up to them, with his Dracomon by his side.

"Kaichou! Good morning," Kiran greeted.

"Morning! Dracomon, too!" Meg- riding on her head- also greeted.

"Good morning." The guy refrained himself from saying anymore when he took notice of Rebecca staring, while his Digimon partner simply waved to the pair. "And if I recall, you're Genja-san, right?"

"Yeah. Morning, Prez," Rebecca greeted.

"Morning." He turned his attention back to Kiran and Meg and said, "Umira-san, about yesterday, is there any chance you can meet me in the Student Council Room during lunch?"

It didn't take long for Kiran to know which event he spoke of, as she nodded to him. "Of course. And I assume the others will also be there?"

Likewise, Bill knew what she meant by 'others' as he nodded in confirmation to the question. "Yes, they will."

"Okay. I'll be there."

Bill nodded at her response and took his leave, with his Dracomon following.

"See you two later," he waved.

Kiran gave a light nod in response, while Meg happily waved back.

Once they were gone, Rebecca leaned close to Kiran and whispered, "Oh ho~ And what is the story between you and the prez~?"

Already sensing a tease coming, Kiran flicked her on the forehead and said, "Come on, Rebecca, you know it's not like that."

Rubbing her forehead, Rebecca let out a light scoff. "Come on. Can't take a joke?"

Kiran only shrugged with a smirk, indicating that she knew it was a joke.

In the Digital World, the Royal Knights and Olympos XII were given a report by a certain Digimon about the battle that occurred recently.

"What did you say?!" Marsmon demanded, slamming a hand on the table in rage. "Your own brother- a fellow Leomon!- has turned traitor to us?!"

"Affirmative. You can even ask the Kiwimon troops and the Monmon civilians for the details," Leomon begrudgingly admitted.

"This is outrageous! Your particular kind of Digimon are said to have strong wills with a heart of justice! And yet you are here telling me even your kind can turn?!"

"At ease, Marsmon," Apollomon spoke up then. His words only having the opposite effect on his kin.

"Do not tell me to be at ease! At this rate-"

"Just because we have lost one of our best and loyal to the enemy does not mean we are to lose all hope!" UlforceVeedramon interrupted then, his voice raised to the point that he silenced Marsmon. "And it is not as though he has become traitor to us. Knowing our enemies, it is possible they used some dirty trick to brainwash him."

"That is possible," Dianamon agreed, before Marsmon could get the chance to decline the idea. "Besides, this is not the first time we've lost a promising individual to those demons."

"There is also the fact that that particular Leomon seemed troubled the past several days prior," Vulcanusmon added, brandishing a sword. "I've forged and sharpened all sorts of weapons, especially those belonging to our soldiers. Each one has its own story. When I last did maintenance on that Leomon's sword, I felt it was dull. A sign of wavering conviction. It wouldn't surprise me if the demons caught on to that somehow, and 'talked' him into joining them."

With two members from his own group saying such reason, Marsmon was not able to argue against them, and thus remained silent.

"As you all say. It is our own fault for letting our guard down," Omnimon said. "Mine especially. I should've paid more attention to Leomon- No… 'MadLeomon' prior to this. I could've done something to prevent this from happening, and yet…"

"It is not your own fault, Omnimon. There is no reason for you to beat yourself up over this," Leopardmon told him. "There is only so many of us in the army, and we each have our own role. All we can do now to honor his memory is to learn from our mistake, and ensure it does not happen again. We should've known better than to assume there are Digimon species that could completely avoid the demons' control."

"So what? Now we have to keep an eye on our soldiers?" Junomon questioned.

"At this point, we may as well," Craniamon answered. "At the very least, we cannot allow the demons to take away any more of our promising allies."

"Agreed. For now, we also must plan a countermeasure of sort against MadLeomon, for the next time he shows on the battlefield," Dynasmon stated.

"That may not be necessary," Leomon spoke, confusing his higher ups. "As I've reported, during battle, both he and Baboongamon disappeared in a flash of light. Not even the enemy Troopmon knew what happened to him."

"Are you implying that your brother did not simply escape?" Marsmon questioned.

"Now that he mentioned it, there have been reports of Digimon disappearing on the field lately," Craniamon recalled. "I doubt even the demons would only prioritize their best soldiers to that extent. Even if they do, for them to disappear in a flash of light?"

"You forget who their main leader is. A demon he may be, it won't be strange for him to still retain some of that power for evil," Leopardmon reminded.

"That is true. And if that is anything to go off on, it is possible that some of our missing allies as well…"

Junomon slammed a hand on the table. "All the more reason to rid the world of those demons, this instance!" she exclaimed, surprising the group with her outburst. Realizing the states and her action, she placed a hand on her head in exhaustion. "Apologies, I…"

Dynasmon placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "It's okay." To the rest of the group, she then said, "I believe now is a good time to call this meeting adjourned."

"Agreed," Apollomon nodded.

"Very well. Everyone, meeting adjourned." At Omnimon's call, Junomon was the first to leave. An action that was soon followed by everyone else, save for Leomon and Leopardmon.

"Lord Omnimon. What do we do now?" the lion Digimon asked.

"For now, resume your duties as per usual. There is no need to worry about things being our understanding," Leopardmon answered for his leader.

Leomon did not seem convinced. "But…"

"Leomon. We have a way to end. It cannot end of we stand around the battlefield hesitating and wondering about things. The enemy won't give us the time of day to do so."

Seeing it pointless to continue talking about the matter, Leomon reluctantly left the room.

As soon as he exited out, Leopardmon turned to Omnimon. "What do you think of this matter?"

"I was going to ask you that," he returned. "Is this really his doing or something else entirely?"

"Hard to say. At the very least, as Junomon said, we cannot let the demons roam around any longer. The sooner this war ends, the better it will be for everyone."

Omnimon remained silent at this matter, still contemplating about this whole situation.

*OPENING**Stand Up By Twill*

(Instrumental)
(Scene begins with a reflection of a seagull flying across the ocean. Camera moves up to the real seagull, displaying it flying towards Fornia Town, and then to the sky. The seagull gets replaced by the title, a glare on the right side caused by the sun shining on it.)

Yeah, Stand Up Boys!
Come on, face forward
(Scene changed to Copace High School's swimming pool, where Kiran was swimming at full speed down her lane. Upon arriving at the edge, Meg handed her a towel in which she used to dry her face.)
The call enveloping you is your guide; step towards tomorrow
(Her phone screen lit up, alarming the pair, as Kiran swiped to open it. Camera zoomed in as she did, revealing a list of sort. Zooming out, scene changed to a male silhouette and a dragon-like Digimon in a library, the former holding his own phone that displays the list. The former pointed up and the latter flew to grab a book above them.)

Yeah, Stand Up Girls!
At the end of what's more than real
(As the Digimon opened the book and flipped through the pages, camera zoomed in to the book. The pages soon stopped flipping and camera zoomed out, now showing the same Digimon silhouette with a different human male silhouette, practicing some fighting skills displayed in the book out in a park.)
We'll grab a light that's been covered by thick clouds
(Camera flew to a tree behind them and went to the other side of the tree, where a female silhouette seemed to be singing with a different Digimon by her side. As the female silhouette sang the last few words, a breeze blew by, and the camera followed it to Vandalla Private Academy and zoomed into a window.)

How we spent our days before isn't good enough
At full speed
(A nun walked down the halls, greeting students who greeted her back. As she passed a large frame, a silhouette similar to the nun's walked alongside her, only to then stop and look back with a troubled expression)
We can blast through
Even the highest walls
(
Camera zoomed to the bustling city, where a crack suddenly formed and grew bigger, until a breach occurred)
Stand Up For Your Dream!
(Kiran and the three other Chosen instantly noticed the sound from their respective locations and turned to the source with a serious expression, and her Digivice lit up)

Be enthusiastic at what you do, no matter what it is
Pushing your way through to make an opening
(Each partner Digimon silhouette Digivolved into their Champion Level form)
No matter how far
The answer you're seeking is
(Enemy Digimon flooded out of the portal and had the Chosen and their partners surrounded)
Stand Up For Your Dream
(The Chosen took out a DigiChip from their person and inserted it into their Digivice)

Even if my feelings, show weakness
(Coelamon took out a group in a burst of speed. The Champion-level dragon Digimon obliterated a number with a fist full of malicious spirit)
Your voice that I hear close by
(The other Champion-level dragon Digimon took down an army with a swift and heavy tail swing. The angelic serpentine-like Digimon soared high to the sky and spread her wings out, emitting a dangerous aura before the remaining enemies)
Gives me courage and strength
(In the Council Room, the Royal Knights and Olympos XII all watched the battle occurring, with the camera zooming in on Omnimon)
I can go the distance
(Opening ends with the Chosen and their partners at their hideout.)

With morning classes done at Copace High School, the bell rang, signaling lunch to start soon.

"Finally, morning classes are done!" Tristy said, as she stretched her arms out. "I thought it would never end."

"You're only saying that because of the pop quiz we took," Spooky stated.

"Can you blame me?! You know I hate it when Mr. Himuro gives us these English pop quizzes. I'm weak at that subject. Like really, the only elements I know are hydrogen and oxygen."

"Speaking of, how did you do, Kiran? You good even with that banged up head?" Rebecca asked.

"It's not like I got this injury yesterday, you know," Kiran indirectly answered, putting her notebooks in her bag.. "On the contrary, I think I did okay."

Tristy sighed, slamming her head on the table. "I feel betrayed…" She instantly perked up, throwing her arms in the air. "Ah, let's just forget about that test! It's lunch now! Let's eat!"

"You three can go ahead. I have to get to the student council room."

All three of her friends turned to her with wide eyes at her words. "How come?" Spooky asked.

Rebecca was the one who answered, having recalled what happened early this morning. "Oh, right. You need to talk to the prez about yesterday's announcement."

At her statement, the other two came to the same realization.

"Oh, right. You did get called- Wait, you're still continuing that meeting?" Tristy asked.

"Rather than say 'continue', it's more that it got postponed to today," Kiran lied. She couldn't tell them the truth of the meeting, after all. "Remember that announcement about postponing after school activities? Apparently, that includes student council work."

"Whoa, really? That kind of sucks. So is lunch the only time they do their work now?"

"You're asking the wrong person. Now, if you three can excuse me, I need to go or I won't be able to eat." With that, Kiran nudged Meg awake with her foot- the latter who had been napping under her desk- and made her way to the door with the Digimon following her.

By the time the pair arrived at their destination, good news: only Bill and Will were present. Bad news? The atmosphere in the room felt a bit… tense.

"Um… Do you guys want to postpone this meeting or something? I can just leave…" she spoke, getting their attention.

"Oh, Kiran. Nah, no need to do that," Bill answered, lightening up somewhat. "Please, have a seat. Don't worry about the rest of the student council members coming in. I told them I needed to hold a private meeting between you two regarding yesterday's announcement situation."

"Yeah. Amongst other things," Will grumbled.

Kiran was confused by the attitude, but was even more so from one other thing. "Huh? Where are the Dracomons?"

"I had my Dracomon- Skye- check around the perimeters of school. In case if we get any sort of incident like yesterday. He'll be back soon," Bill answered then.

Kiran widened her eyes upon noticing what he called his partner. "'Skye'? You named him, too?"

"We have two of them, now. It'll be confusing to call them by that."

Will let out a scoff for some reason, and said, "Not as cool a name as what I gave my partner."

At his comment, Bill turned to him with an unamused expression. "You cannot be telling me your Dracomon is actually okay with being called 'Wrestler'."

"Why wouldn't he? It fits him perfectly after yesterday."

"I'm just saying it doesn't sound like a real name. You might as well name your first child 'Player' or something."

"Hey, even I know the difference between a human name and any other names."

With the way the pair were interacting, Kiran was starting to feel a little nervous around them. They seemed so hostile towards one another, and she couldn't understand why. Though she was quite curious about one matter. "Where is your Dracomon, anyway?"

"Left him at home," he casually answered. "Where he will be safe, unlike what you two are doing with your partners."

That statement caught the girl and Meg off guard, while Bill let out an aggravated sigh. "Now you're going to drag them into your mental mess?"

"Hey, I only did what I think is the best choice. You? Letting your Dracomon go free? What are you thinking?! What if he gets seen?!"

"Seen by what?" came a familiar young male voice voice, as the group turned and saw Skye climbing into the room from an open window.

"Skye! Isn't it obvious? I'm talking about people seeing you, of course. Why'd you come in through the window?"

"Uh, because I saw you," Skye answered, pointing at him. "Also, I thought I'm called 'Wrestler' now. When did we change my name to 'Skye'?"

His question confused the group, as a knock was then heard at the door. Kiran opened it, revealing another Dracomon standing there.

"Hi. Sorry for the wait. Nothing to report around the area," he reported, walking into the room. Upon doing so, he noticed the other Dracomon in. "Oh, Dracomon? When did you get in here?"

"It's 'Wrestler', now. And you're named 'Skye'?"

"Yeah. How'd you know?"

Looking at the pair side by side like this made the humans and Meg stare at them. Well, the former group were, whereas the Digimon hopped over to them for a little chat.

"Wow… We should get them something to differentiate the two," Kiran stated, in which the boss nodded in agreement too.

A stomach growl was heard, and all heads turned to the Digimon trio. All who slumped down with saddened expressions.

Bill was a bit amused by this. "Well, we're all here now. What say we eat as we talk?"

"Good call," Kiran agreed, taking her lunch out.

"Hope you guys have brought enough for all those mouths," Will only said, taking out some bread.

Kiran raised a brow at the statement. "You didn't bring enough for Wrestler?"

"Because a certain someone was supposed to stay home like I asked him to," Will said, glancing at his partner.

Wrestler knew he was being talked about and turned to him. "Hey, it's not my fault there's nothing to do at home, even if your pops can't see me."

Kiran grew a bit interested at that. "Your dad's a stay-at-home type?"

Instead of answering, Bill said, "Why don't we save that for when we do have time? Lunch isn't going to last forever."

Though she found something funny about the tone used, Kiran couldn't disagree and took out another box from her bag. "Okay. I guess you guys can have this one," she said, setting it down on the table.

The little trio climbed up the table and approached the box, as she opened it and revealed the contents. One look made their eyes sparkle.

"Whoa! Are these spring rolls?!" Skye asked.

"You know these?" Kiran asked him.

"I've seen pictures in books. The insides look really good. Though… The wrapping looks different. The one I saw was yellow and hard-looking."

"I believe that's the fresh, Vietnamese version," Bill spoke up then. "Gotta say, though, I'm amazed by your cooking skills. You had time to make all that and your own lunch?"

"Actually, my dad made these. He always makes extra for me to share with my friends during lunch," Kiran explained, taking out some dipping sauce for the rolls. "Dip the rolls into this before eating."

"Got you guys something, too," Bill spoke up, taking out some wrapped rice balls from his own bag. "Make sure to remove the plastic wrapping first. Careful with the black one though; that is meant to go with the rest."

The three Digimon looked at the meal in hunger, unable to contain their joy much longer. "Thank you for the food!" they exclaimed, digging in to the food set out for them.

While Kiran and Bill were both happy to see them eating, Will looked more bothered. "You sure about feeding them these stuff here? Won't someone come in and see this?"

"If they do, we can just have the Digimon retreat to us and pretend we're the ones eating them," Bill reasoned. "Now then, us, too." As soon as he said that, he clasped his hands together. "Thank you for the food."

"Thank you for the food," Kiran and Will followed, as the three humans dig into their own meals.

"So anyway. We gonna talk about yesterday?" Will brought up.

As soon as the topic was brought upon, Kiran swallowed the food she was eating and said, "True. I'm sure you must be a little confused with everything, even with Bill's explanation-"

"Nope. Smarty bro there said nothing to me."

Kiran grew confused by the interruption, and turned to the student council president.

"It was late, we got out of our first encounter with enemy Digimon, it is taxing on the mind," he simply explained.

"Sure it was cause of that," Will muttered, which went unheard by Kiran.

The girl sighed at this. "Where do I even start…?"

At the same time, in more darker areas of the Digital World, far from the heavens, one Digimon traversed about, soaring across the dark land. He soon landed on what seemed to be a weeping willow tree, perched on a branch and looking at one certain area ahead.

"The Seven Demon Lords' castle. If I can infiltrate that, I can get valuable information for the lords about the demons' next plan of attack. Specifically, where our missing comrades rest," he muttered to himself. "This Aurumon must find a way inside. But first… Infrared Eyes." At that attack, the red lens of his goggles glowed slightly, giving him heat sensors to check around the area below. "Not many patrols down below, are there? The Demon Army must've sent many of their members to other areas."

"Or you might be looking at the wrong place," came a voice above, to his shock. "Black Saber!"

Aurumon looked up at that shout, and saw dark rings raining down on him, in which he hastily flew away from. "What?! I have been spotted?!"

"And you shall fall, spy," he heard the voice say.

Aurumon turned and saw a big bird-figure soaring down to him. "Damn it! Saberdramon!"

"You should never have trespassed on these lands. Mach Shadow!" Saberdramon folded his wings in and spun, making headway towards the smaller bird-type Digimon.

"Infrared Ray!" Until Aurumon's lens suddenly glowed bright, briefly blinding the enemy bird Digimon, as Aurumon hovered out of his range, causing him to crash into the ground below. "Whew. That was close," he sighed. "It's too dangerous to make recon. I must escape."

Just as he was about to fly away, however, feathers suddenly came from behind him, in which he managed to avoid.

"You will not escape. I swear on my pride as member of the Demon Army!" he exclaimed, to Aurumon's ire.

Back in the human world, the Digimon finished their lunch and were flopped on the table in satisfaction. As for their human parters, Kiran just got done explaining to Will about everything she knew about the Digimon, the Digital World, and the 'Chosen' Peacockmon spoke of.

"Wow… That is a lot to take in," Will said, taking a bite of his bread. "If I hadn't already witnessed the action I wouldn't believe it a word."

"Don't eat with your mouth full, Will. It's disgusting," Bill scolded, done with his meal. "Speaking of 'war', going by what we've witnessed so far, it wouldn't be impossible to say that it's starting to affect our world. You both know what happened yesterday. Two of those Digimon- undoubtedly enemies- appeared in our world and just wrecked havoc. They didn't care if they were affecting our lives."

Kiran looked down at her box when he said that in thought. "Can't argue with that. No one was able to see them; only the destruction, and yet they paid no heed to it. They didn't even care if their fighting was going to get someone killed."

"Ain't that the truth," Will agreed, thinking back to when the gym owner nearly died, had Wrestler not saved him. "So, what are we going to do about it? From what you said, we're these 'Chosen Ones' that Angel Army seems to be looking for. Are we going over there to stop the demons? End the war before more of our world gets involved?"

"I'd rather we don't do that. If my encounter with two of their members meant anything at all, it's that they may not be as 'angelic' as they should be. I mean, they discriminated Meg just because she seems to be a member of the Demon Army, when she's just an innocent little thing," Kiran said, tickling the Betamon's exposed belly, much to the latter's amusement.

"If Kiran says so, then maybe we shouldn't get involved with them," Bill said. "If anything, we should be thinking of countermeasures against this. We can't let their war affect our world any longer than it already has. Think of what will happen if we keep letting them do as they please."

"And how do you suggest we do that, Mr. Smarty-Pants?" Will questioned, baffling Kiran with the name-calling. "You say 'countermeasures' as though we have access to weapons and such, when we're just teenagers."

Bill was irked by his brother's comment and stated, "You're right, we don't have access to those things, as we are just kids. However, we have our Digimon, and we have a way of getting them stronger so far. Plus, judging by what Umira-san said, we seem to have a benefactor who may be willing to help us out. Of course, it is now a question of who that person is and where they are."

"So what? You want us to follow some stranger? That sure doesn't sound anything like you."

"Whoa, guys. What's the hostility for?" Kiran intervened then. "Look, we're all in this together. We should be helping each other get stronger and prepare ourselves for the next encounter against the Digimon, like Bill said."

"That would be assuming if we are all the Chosen the Angel Army is looking for," Bill stated then, much to her confusion. "You said it yourself. There may be someone amongst us who is not meant to be a Chosen. Who may just have some accidental encounter with the Digimon."

Kiran raised a brow at that. "I didn't say that."

"You may as well have, going by the information given. That second Digimon you faced seemed convinced that you are not supposed to be a Chosen for some reason. Not saying it's you, but since we don't know exactly how this process works, it is possible that there may be some accidental encounters at one point or another."

While Kurisu and the Digimon- all whose attention got caught by the conversation- were confused by the statement, Will was not as confused by it, as he demanded, "And just what is that supposed to mean, Bill?"

"Gee, you tell me. How about you remind me who it was who nearly got us in trouble yesterday for causing that big scene in this very room yesterday?" Bill simply retorted. "Honestly, what in the world did you think was going to happen if you told the principal about Meg? When we're the only ones who can see her. I bet no normal Chosen would do something as foolish as that."

"Well, yeah. We can see her. But if we can see her, there is a huge possibility that someone else can, too," Will defended, feeling a bit offended by how his brother was acting towards him.

"A possibility that was low to start with, in case if you have forgotten about the assembly. You said you saw her then, which I assume would mean that she was out in the open at the time, right?" Bill glanced at Kiran when he asked that, insinuating the question was for her.

"Well, yeah, that's right," she answered, not liking where this was going.

"And yet, even though Will saw her, no one else did. Otherwise we would've already heard rumors about a…" Bill trailed off there, as he turned to Meg, unsure of how to properly describe her. "A uh…"

"Sea monster?" Kiran finished for him, knowing well of his confusion.

After briefly thanking her, for finishing the sentence for him, Bill continued, "a sea monster."

"Yeah, but you didn't notice her, either, back then! What if there was someone else who did?!" Will questioned.

"Then they could've gone to the police, or better yet Kiran! What makes you think they can just go blabbing about it to just anyone?! Either way, we would've heard something by now, but we got zilch! Nothing! You shouldn't be thinking that just because you were able to see something, anyone else did. Look what happened yesterday. Only we know what happened. No one else but us. And here I thought you've grown out of that childish demeanor."

Will was already getting quite enraged with how his own brother was talking him down like this, but when he brought that part up? That especially made him blow a gasket. "I know what I saw back then! I tried to get you all to listen, but none of you believe me! Even though there were clear witnesses of that event!"

That got Kiran's attention as she turned to Will in confusion.

Bill, on the other hand, rubbed his head in anger and annoyance. "You are such a pain. When will you grow up already? The existence of monsters out of the way, it is a recent thing that only a few of us know. I always thought it was weird of you to always go training in public gyms and be involved in all combative clubs when you like ball sports more, but this is getting out of hand."

Will grew less than amused by the treatment, as he got up on his feet and grabbed his brother by the collar. "I dare you to say that again!"

Kiran and the Digimon panicked at this occurrence and tried to intervene. "Whoa, Will! Knock it off!" the former called out.

Before things could escalate any further, the door was slammed open, revealing the principal there. "What is going on in here?!" he shouted, prompting the trio of students to jump in shock.

Elsewhere in the human world, at the destroyed gym where the teens fought MadLeomon and Baboongamon, the area was blocked off by yellow tapes, preventing pedestrians from passing through. A few cops were also there, investigating the scene.

"Found anything?" one cop- older than the other officers in the area- asked another, who was looking into the building for anything out of the ordinary.

"Nothing here, Captain. Nothing that could've triggered a bomb, at least," he answered.

"There also doesn't seem to be anything that could make the owner of this gym a target," another officer searching the place stated. "A couple of our guys even went to the victim's house for information, but found nothing suspicious."

"And the other victims?" the captain asked.

"Nothing about them that could make them targets, either."

The captain looked on in thought at the information given, as he looked at the list of victims involved in the supposed bombing. "Damn it. We can't even question the victims themselves when they're still unconscious. And words from the witnesses aren't helpful enough in this situation," he muttered.

"You're saying that because of some elders' claim on this being some spirit's work, aren't you?" a detective spoke, observing the cuts on the walls.

"Isn't it obvious? We're not in any old era. This is modern days where spirits don't exist."

"Then how would you explain these cuts on the walls? Can't be any human work, and they're definitely real," the detective pointed out, as he ran his hand across the cut.

"Those were probably already there and hidden by a hologram prior to the event. Just to scare the people," the captain stated, refusing to believe this to be a work of some 'spirit' or 'monster', as some people have been claiming. "This is surely to be the work of that hacker group. How much longer do they plan on terrorizing our city?"

"Doesn't help that they don't leave any sort of trail in their wake. Not even our own computer team could find a pattern in their attacks."

Unknown to the cops, while they were observing the area or talking amongst themselves, one individual snuck past them and stood before the computer at the receptionist desk. She took out what seemed to be a rosary and carefully waved it before the desk. Doing so, the gem at the center of the cross lit up, every time she had it at a certain spot.

"Here," she muttered, placing her free hand on the sheathed sword by her waist.

In one fluid motion, she took the blade out, and jabbed it into the computer. Only rather than destroying the monitor, the blade got jabbed into something else Something that was causing a crack to form in the air. With the hand holding the rosary, she brought it to her face, eyes closed, and formed a hand sign, muttering a chant, causing the gem to glow brighter. As soon as she finished it, she slammed the hand into the butt of the hilt, transferring the glow into her sword, as it began to shine bright itself. Seconds into the action, the sword itself suddenly moved, prompting her to move back as it removed itself from the air, revealing the inside of the crack to be similar to the portal Piddomon and Peacockmon used to arrive in the human world. It swung its blade down at it, cutting it in half, and made it dissipate into thin air.

The person let out a sigh, seeing her work done here.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" she heard.

The figure turned her head to the shout, where she saw the captain glaring into the building, but not at her. He barged in, completely passing her, and approached the two officers he assigned on search duty, both with bottles of wine in their arms.

"I-It's not what it looks like!" one of them exclaimed. "We found them and thought these would be clues or evidence of sort!"

"What would wine bottles be clues to?!" the captain questioned.

While he was questioning his men, the figure paid no heed to the squabble and took her leave, walking past the detective who made no notion to stop her. Much less acknowledge her presence.

By the time Kiran and the boys manage to ease the principal's rage, lunch was over, and the trio returned to their respective class. While Meg went with Kiran back to her class, the Dracomons went their separate ways away from the scene.

As she sat in class, taking notes on the lesson the teacher was giving, Kiran couldn't stop thinking about what happened between the brothers. No matter how she thought about it, the way they were acting towards each other was weird. Bill, especially. He who was known for being the kind student council president, willing to lend a hand to his peers. A true model student, if anything! Not once has she heard of the guy going off on anyone before. Why, he even broke up plenty of quarrels before, and got the people involved to compromise in a friendly manner. Yet, what happened back in the student council room? It was too weird, no matter how she thought it over.

"Excuse me, sensei?" she called with a raised hand, getting her teacher and classmates' attention. "May I be excused to use the bathroom?"

"Yes, of course," he granted.

As soon as she got permission to leave, Kiran gave Meg a nudge, waking her up from her nap again, much to her confusion, and left the room with the Digimon following. Once she was out in the halls, rather than go to the bathroom as she asked, Kiran and Meg hid in the stairwell.

"I know this is meddling, Meg, but I'm worried about Bill and Will. What happened back there is not normal," she said.

Meg was confused by the concern. "Was it?"

"Well, I don't have siblings myself, so I don't know exactly. But you saw how they acted back there. They were way too hostile to each other. While I'm not one to meddle in this sort of thing, if a Digimon from the Digital World arrives and they're forced to fight it, who knows what will happen then? Especially if they're as unreasonable as Piddomon and Peacockmon."

An angry expression formed on Meg's face. "Enemy bird!"

As reaction resulted in a pat on the head from Kiran. "If you can understand that, I guess. That said, do you think you can talk to the Dracomons about their partners? Maybe you three can find out something about their history. The sooner we resolve their issue with one another, the better."

Though unsure, Meg could tell just looking at Kiran's face how much this was bothering her. She didn't like to see that expression and obediently replied, "Okay!"

Kiran was relieved to hear that response, as she turned to the doors. "I don't know about Wrestler, but I can guess Skye is in the library, so try starting there. It's in the floor above us. I need to get back to class."

"Okay~!"

With Skye, he was at the library, as Kiran had assumed, looking around for some books. Specifically, ones about mending relationships.

As Kiran had thought, the dragon Digimon was also thinking something was not right about the way Bill and Will interacted with one another. He has seen plenty of siblings interact with one another at the library and at the park nearby. Sure there were some who often get into arguments with one another, but all in all, they always got along. Not like his partner and his brother. As if that wasn't weird enough…

'I wonder if their attitude is connected to their house situation…' he wondered, thinking back to when he was brought to his partner's home the other day.

*FLASHBACK*

When he was brought to his home, Skye was nervous at first. He was anything but a normal lizard, and from the moment he was born, he knew how risky it was to show himself to the public.

"Are you sure I won't be seen by your parents? I mean, back at the library, a few people caught sight of me every once in a while when I tried to hide from them. Thankfully they didn't see me completely and passed it off as their imagination, but still," Skye asked, riding the elevator with his partner.

"It'll be fine, Skye. Going by Umira-san and Meg's situation, even though she was out in the open, no one in our school or the library took notice of her. My assumption would be due to the Digivice, but we can't say for certain."

"That last part isn't giving me much confidence, you know." As Skye said that, the elevator stopped and the doors opened, in which the pair exited out of and walked down the halls.

"Okay. This is my home." As Bill said that, they stopped in front of one apartment, in which the human unlocked and entered. "Hey, Mom. I'm home."

"Bill? Welcome home, honey," came a female call.

Both Bill and Skye let themselves into the place, when the latter realized one important thing. "Aren't we going to wait for your brother and his Dracomon partner?"

Bill gave him no response, not even stopping in his tracks, which brought nothing but more confusion to Skye, who then looked around the place.

To sum up, it was a comfy area. Not too bare or too stylish, not too small or too big. Just perfectly homey. Only one thing... as he took notice of the photos set in the place. 'I see Bill, his mom, and I think his dad, but where's Will in these?'

*END OF FLASHBACK*

No matter how Skye thought it, it was way past strange. How could the three act like Will isn't a part of the family? What was weirder was the fact that Will never came home at all. But why?

'I wonder if Wrestler knows why,' he thought. 'Bill wouldn't say a word to me, but maybe Will told him something.'

"Skye!" He picked his head up when he heard someone call his name, and saw Meg hopping into the library.

"Meg, hush!" he whispered, placing a finger on his mouth. "This is still a library!"

At his words, Meg placed her claws on her own mouth to keep herself silent.

Skye looked around, noticing how the few people in the library paid them no mind at all, much to his relief. "So, what were you looking for me for?" he asked then.

"Kira said to find you. And Wrestler. Said she wants to know what's wrong with Bill and Will," she answered, also in a whisper.

Skye's eyes widened at this. So he's not the only one who thought this to be weird? Kiran, too? Then as he thought, there must be something more to Bill and Will's hostility than they think.

"Let's go find Wrestler and talk about it!" he urged Meg. Next thing the Betamon knew, he grabbed her and took them out the library.

Back to Kiran, the teen was trying to take notes on what was being taught in the lesson. 'Trying to'. For her mind was preoccupied with Meg.

'I hope she didn't get distracted with anything...' she prayed.

It was not that she doubt her, but as a Betamon, Meg was much like a child. She hoped the little Digimon didn't get distracted on the way to the library. The sooner she finds the Dracomons and get information about Bill and Will, the sooner they can resolve whatever conflict the pair have with one another.

"Yo, is this for real?" she heard, bringing her attention to a couple of boys a couple of tables ahead of her, looking at a phone behind the teacher's back.

"You didn't hear, man? It was on the news this morning. Check those claw marks. I'm telling you, ghosts are real," one of the boys whispered.

"You sure that's not just an old mark or anything left behind by some television crew?" the other boy whispered back.

"No, these are new. Some witnesses said they saw these just get formed from thin air."

"What? No way."

"Kentaki-san, Masaki-san, out in the halls," the teacher spoke, her back still turned to them, much to their shock. "I don't know what is so interesting back there, but I am sure it is something that could've waited until after school. Out in the halls, now. Tanaki-san, if you can come up and answer this question."

"Yes, ma'am," the three students called, the two boys watching the news more in a dispirited tone.

Kiran could only sigh as she watched them go, and Tristy- whose last name is Tanaki- walk up to the board. 'Mysterious claw marks, huh. If only they know what really made them,' she thought. 'Well, not that anyone can ever see Digimon.' Her eyes widened when she came to realize something at that thought. 'Wait a second... No one can see Digimon. But they can see the damage they cause.'

With that thought process was a recollection of Will and Bill's argument.

"I know what I saw back then! I tried to get you all to listen, but none of you believe me! Even though there were clear witnesses of that event!"

"You are such a pain. When will you grow up already? The existence of monsters out of the way, it is a recent thing that only a few of us know."

'Will got that defensive when Bill brought up a past event involving monsters,' she thought. 'Will said he saw them- was convinced that he saw them- and the construction workers should've also seen them, but they didn't... Only the destruction they caused...' As she continued to think of this, Kiran's eyes widened even more, coming to realize something from this. Something very important.

"Kiran. You okay?" Rebecca asked in a whisper, poking her in the arm with her pencil's eraser.

Kiran snapped back to reality from the poke and turned to her with a small smile. "Yeah. I'm okay."

Though not fully convinced, Rebecca let the matter slide and turned her attention back to the lesson, as did Kiran. Only her attention was more on her new realization.

'If that's true, I need to find Will and Bill after school.'

With Wrestler, he was at the back of the school, punching away at a tree, with his mind also occupied with what happened at lunch.

'What the heck was Bill's problem?!' he wondered in rage. 'I've seen rivals train at the gym, and humans fighting on that box they call 'TV', but that was way different from what I saw.'

He took a little break from all the punching, now wondering one thing. 'Does it have anything to do with their home situation.'

*FLASHBACK*

When the teens broke off and rushed to their respective homes, like Skye, Wrestler noticed he and Will weren't going the same was as him and Bill.

"Where are we going?" he asked his partner.

"My place. Where else?" Will answered.

"But I thought your place is that way with Bill." Wrestler pointed at the direction they parted from the boy in question with his partner Dracomon.

A sour look formed on Will's face at the question as he answered, "Just because we're brothers doesn't mean we live together."

His statement brought more questions to his Digimon. Before he could ask any more, though, Will stopped. "Okay. This is my place."

Compared to the apartment building Bill lives in, the one Will resides was smaller.

… Much smaller.

"Wow… It's uh… retro," Wrestler could only say, unsure what else to say about it that would not sound offensive.

"It's not much, I know. But it's still home," Will said, already aware of his true thoughts. "Come on. The sooner we go in, the better."

The pair walked up the steps and entered one of the several apartments offered in this building. What came next left the Dracomon speechless. Baffled beyond belief, upon not only seeing how small the space was, but also how dirty it was! Newspapers, trash bags, even cans and bottles lying around! There is also a pulsar smell in this place!

"Pee-yew! Do you not clean in this place?!" he had to ask, covering his nose and mouth.

"Yeah… Sorry," Will could only say in slight embarrassment, looking around the small apartment. "Good, he's not home. Get to my room. I'll be there soon. Take the door by the corner there."

Though confused by the command, Wrestler didn't ask, as he wanted to get away from the sight of all that mess. Hoping Will's room was even a little better than this sight.

Much to his surprise, Will's own room truly was cleaner than the horrifying sight he saw.

'Whew, so he does know how to clean,' Wrestler thought in relief, looking around the room. As he did so, he noticed one thing that was quite disturbing to him. That being how bare it was.

It's not that it was empty, but there wasn't really much of anything in here. There's a bed and a closet with some clothes, and a desk with some books, but nothing else.

'This is his room, right?' he couldn't help but wonder.

Just then, he faintly heard a door open, along with new footsteps and scent entering the building.

"Those stupid, stinking good-for-nothings!" came a shout, spooking him. "Gave them one job- ONE STINKING JOB!- and they can't get that right?! Not only that, but I am to be blamed for their idiotic mistake?! Screw those bastards!"

Wrestler grew a bit frightened from that angry tone to approach Will's door, as the new voice then said, "This is all because of you, you stupid boy!" A hit was heard on the other side, making Wrestler worry as he peeked out the door, only to later be met with a sight he was better off not seeing. It didn't help that Will gestured him to stay out of the conflict, which only served to worry him even more, as he continued to take his father's beating.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

It was nothing short of hell in Wrestler's eyes, as he clenched his clawed fists at the memory. He had seen parents take their kids to the gym sometimes, but what Will's dad did?!

'How could he do that to Will?!' he mentally questioned. 'Will told me to not get involved, but once I have my chance, I will definitely teach that guy a lesson!' He then relaxed somewhat, as he came to realize one other thing. 'Hang on… Is that guy the reason why Bill isn't living with them? Compared to Will, Bill doesn't look strong to endure that beating. Although… I think I remember humans have two parents, not just one. The dad out of the way, where's their mom?'

"Wrestler! Hey, Wrestler!" He perked up at the call, and turned to see Skye and Meg rushing to him.

"Skye? Meg?"

A little later, school finally ended for the day. As soon as the final class was done, Kiran hastily packed up her stuff and left the classroom with a quick goodbye to her friends, searching for Will.

'Will said he saw monsters back when he was a kid. Monsters that others should've seen, but didn't,' she thought as she speed walked. 'Now that I think about it, didn't he say he saw Meg as Coelamon?! If that's true, and the way he first reacted around Meg meant anything, then...'

Her thoughts got caught off as soon as she caught sight of a familiar spiky-looking head with a bag slung over his shoulder, prompting her to pick up the pace.

'There's no way it was an imagination if that was the case. If anything, it has to mean...'

"Will!" Kiran called, getting his attention and several other students.

"Huh? Umira?" Will spoke in confusion, as Kiran caught up to him.

"Will, is it true? About what you and Bill were talking about back in the student council room?" she asked, knowing better than to go in complete detail about the topic in front of prying eyes.

Will, on the other hand, was not as cautious. Rather, instead of simply answering carefully, he placed a hand on his waist with an irked expression. "What? Now you're gonna call me out for being childish? Yeah, I get it. Let's all laugh at poor Willy together."

"That's not what I mean at all." Before Kiran could say anymore, she noticed they were getting some more unwanted attention by their peers. "Just... come with me. We're getting your brother," she said, grabbing his wrist.

Unfortunately, that was apparently the wrong thing to say to him, as William angrily pulled his wrist otu of her grip. "Hell no! I'm not going to that jerk! And hear him chew me out still for claiming what I saw in the past?!"

The way he was acting was both worrying and annoying Kiran, who especially does not want to cause a commotion out in the halls. "Will, this is serious!"

"So am I. You want to go with his idea of finding that benefactor guy? Do it yourself."

As he attempted to leave, Kiran then said, "Even if I tell you I believe you?"

He stopped in his tracks with a raised brow at those words, taking a moment to realize what she meant. "You're only saying that."

"Do you really think that, or are you just having a hard time believing it?"

Will turned to her then, looking at her in the eyes. "... How much of it?"

Kiran glanced around, noticing more people gathering around them and grabbed his wrist again. "Not here. Let's just go to the others- your brother included- and especially tell him about what happened."

As much as he did not like the idea of seeing his twin, with how persistent Kiran seemed about this topic, it was hard for him to deny her this time. "Fine. Let's find Bill."

Meanwhile, in the Digital World, Aurumon was still trying to escape from Saberdramon. The bigger bird Digimon was far too persistent for Aurumon to lose. Even when he tried to blind him with his Infrared Ray, Saberdramon would stop him with a wide-range usage of Black Saber or Night Roar to keep him from flying away.

'Damn it! I can't shake him off my tail!' he thought, trying desperately to get away from the opposition.

"Quit using such petty tricks and fight like a Digimon you are! Black Saber!" Saberdramon shouted, releasing more dark rings with a flap of his wings.

Aurumon tried hard to avoid the rings, barely managing to dodge them all, with one nicking a feather of his right wing. "You want a fight? I'll give you one, then!" Just as he exclaimed that, he folded his wings in and dove back down to the ground, in which Saberdramon continued to give pursuit of.

"Still trying to run?!" he shouted, folding his own wings in to pick up the speed of his fall, gradually catching up to Owlmon.

Suddenly, as it would turn out, Owlmon did not just simply dive down to the ground; he dove into a crater. One big enough for him to fly into, but small and narrow for Saberdramon, forcing him to come to a stop before he could even hit his face to the ground.

"What?!" he gasped, looking into the crack, only to see no sign of Aurumon. "That coward! How dare he run from me?!" he demanded, turning away from the crack. "No matter. Humiliating as this is, I will announce his presence to the army."

"Midnight Clutch!" Suddenly, he felt something strike him in the back, much to his surprise. "Did you not say you want a fight?!" Aurumon mocked, getting distance from Saberdramon, who grew angry from the hit.

"You dare resort to such petty trick!" he shouted, before swinging a wing back to Aurumon. "Night Roar!" He unleashed more of his flaming feathers at the owl-like Digimon, in which the latter continued to avoid. Unknown to either Digimon, like in one certain gorge, as each feather flew by, the air began to waver slightly. "Do not escape me!" He flew after Aurumon, more intent on destroying the spy than before.

"You have to catch me first!" Aurumon said, spreading his wings out to slow himself down, allowing Saberdramon to catch up as he faced him. "Infrared Ray!" Like before, the lens on his goggles glowed bright, in which Saberdramon shielded his eyes from.

As the light died down, he saw no trace of the owl Digimon. "Gone again, is he?" he assumed.

Unbeknownst to him, though, Aurumon was actually at a good distance behind him, ready for another good strike on the bigger bird Digimon. "This should end it. Midnight Clutch!" He swooped down at high speed, talons ready to strike.

Unfortunately for him, Saberdramon was no fool. "You think you can keep using these tricks, don't you. You foolish owl!" He turned to Aurumon's direction. He who was shocked that Saberdramon already found him out, but was unable to stop his attack. "This is the end for you! Mach Shadow!" He flew towards the owl at high speed with a spin.

Aurumon knew there was no stopping this this time, as he kicked his feet out, talons first.

The two attacks collided, unleashing a strong shockwave as they struggled to overpower one another. Sparks flew from the collision... as a crack appeared in the space between them, much to their shock.

"Huh/What?!" As soon as they gasped out, light shined from the crack, prompting the pair to close their eyes, as they got dragged into the crack.

After managing to find Bill as he was leaving the school building, the three humans met up with their partners at the back of the school.

"This better be good, Umira-san. We already got a warning from the principal about staying at school late, you know," Bill warned.

"I know, and this is important. It's about what you and Will said earlier. How he was making claims about monsters existing years ago," Kiran answered.

At her words, the student council president turned to his twin with a glare. "Yes. And?" he questioned, trying not to explode and let their presence be known to the teachers.

"What if he's telling the truth about that?"

Of all things he thought he could hear from her mouth, that was not one of them. "What?"

"Think about it. We-"

"No. No. Umira-san, I can tell you're a nice person, but you don't need to humor Will," Bill interrupted, much to Kiran, Will, and their Digimon's shock.

"What? No, I'm not humoring him," she denied.

"Well, then you must be buttering him up or something. You can't honestly be telling me you do believe in monsters. We're not children; we're teenagers. Soon-to-be young adults."

"And I understand that, but if you just take a moment to listen-"

"Listen?! To him?!"

Will couldn't stay silent any longer. Not after seeing his respected twin act like this. "Hey. I don't care if you act that way to me, but Umira is actually on to something. Which says a whole lot more since you're supposed to be the smart, considerate one."

Bill sent a glare his way at the insult. "And you think I want to hear that from you? I've been tolerating the fact that you're even in this school much like everyone else. Specifically those you know you as 'Delusional Will'."

Kiran- still baffled by the hostility, as were the Digimon- was confused at that last part. "'Delusional'?"

"Should I tell her, Will? Or do you want to be a man and speak the truth? About the Construction Incident," Bill questioned his twin rather than answer her.

Will could only stare at his brother, a bit hurt with the aggression, and turned to Kiran. "I told you I saw monsters as a kid."

"'Imagined' them, you mean," Bill interrupted.

Will paid no mind to that and continued. "I remember it was back in early elementary school, about ten years ago. I was out on an errand for our parents and took a shortcut on the way home, which was through a construction site. There were workers there, and instructed me to be careful where I walk. I thanked them and was well on my way home, when suddenly… A big monster appeared out of nowhere right in front of me. Like any kid would, I screamed, scared at the sight. Workers came, wondering what was wrong, when another monster came and attacked the first one, causing a havoc there. I got knocked out at some point, and found myself at the hospital, uninjured, whereas all the workers got hurt, and the construction itself got postponed because of all that destruction. In fact, the place got blocked off for a while after that."

While Kiran and the Digimon listened to the story, Bill let out a sigh. "He has been telling the same exact story for months after that. Even after the workers all regained their consciousness and- though admitted to seeing Will and that something went wrong during the construction- said there were no monsters involved."

"I know what I saw!" Will defensively exclaimed. "I don't know why the workers lied or why they wouldn't even tell me the reason, but I know I saw them, and I know they must've seen them, too. How else would all those stuff break down?!"

"Will, can you just stop with that?! We're teenagers now! It is time you move on!" Frustrated, Bill turned to Kiran and requested, "Kiran, tell him!"

Rather than agree with him, though, the swimmer said, "I think he's telling the truth."

"See? Even she- wait, what?" Bill asked, unsure if he heard her right.

"Bill, you said it yourself. The workers said they saw Will and that something went wrong with the site. Will said monsters caused all that trouble, yet they didn't see any monster."

"Right. And?"

"Did you hear the news this morning? About yesterday's incident at the gym."

Both boys went silent in confusion at the question, for one doesn't watch the news and the other- though would usually watch it- had his mind on other matters. Mainly that involving the Digimon attack.

"Ah! Kira friend talked about it!" Meg spoke up then. "Said there were mentions of an explosion at the gym!"

"Exactly," Kiran confirmed. "And get this. From what Rebecca said about the news, there were witnesses who saw the explosion, and the many scratches and few destruction caused from the battle between those lion and monkey Digimon. However, not one of them said anything about either. If anything only a few made assumptions that some ghost or a spirit attacked for some reason."

"Just like back with those workers…" Will breathed out, seeing the similarities between the two incidents.

As for Bill, when he first heard Kiran fully believing his twin's story, he thought she was crazy and was about to question her for taking his side of the story. After hearing the apparent news, though? About the Digimon attack yesterday that didn't get fully covered? That… truly did sound similar to what happened with Will ten years ago.

'But… What does that…?'

"Hey! You three down there!" the group of teens and Digimon flinched at the call, as they turned and saw one of their teachers looking down on them from a window on the second floor of their school. "What do you three think you're doing? School is already over! We made it clear that all students must go home!"

"R-Right! We'll get to that," Kiran responded.

Unknown to them and even the teacher scolding them, the computer closest to her started to spark a bit, in which another staff member noticed. "What the-? Fina-sensei, get away from that computer!"

The warning came too late, as an explosion occurred from it. Not as big as the one at the public gym, but still enough to break off a part of the school building, and the teacher who called out to Kiran and the boys got sent flying out.

"Aahhh!"

Both her scream and the explosion caught the group's attention- especially the latter sound- as they turned and saw the adult falling.

"Fina-sensei!" Bill cried cut.

"I got her!" Skye called.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Dracomon Digivolve to!"

Dracomon's body grew bigger, becoming an older, fiercer version of himself. His body turned dark blue, red wings turning blue and white, and a red horn grew out of his snout. Even the horns on his head became spiky. Once the Digivolution was done, he breathed out flames from his mouth.

"Coredramon!"

As soon as he Digivolved, Skye soared up and caught the teacher, gently setting her back down on the ground, as the teens and other Digimon rushed over to her.

"Fina-sensei!" Kiran called, as they checked on her. Bill, especially, as he checked her vitals.

"She's fine. Just unconscious," he informed, to their relief. "Still, what the heck was that?"

"How about you ask those guys?!" Wrestler responded, pointing at something in the air.

They all looked and saw, to their stupor, a pair at Digimon fighting in the air.

"Digimon again?!" Bill gasped in shock.

Will, on the other hand, clenched his fist at the sight of them fighting. "This is just like yesterday!" he exclaimed. "Hey! You two!"

"Will, don't!" Kiran called, covering his mouth, to his bafflement, as she whispered, "There are still some teachers up there!"

Will turned his attention to their school, and saw a couple of teachers looking out the destroyed wall, staring at them.

"Hey, you kids! Is Fina-sensei okay?!" one asked.

Knowing well that they can't see the Digimon fighting above, Kiran removed her hand from Will's mouth and answered, "Yeah! She's okay! What happened up there?!"

"We don't know! Sparks just appeared from her computer and-"

"Look out!" Will suddenly shorted, noticing one at the Digimon's attack failing to hit his apparent and make way to the teachers.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Dracomon Digivolve to!"

Dracomon's body grew bigger, becoming an older, fiercer version of himself, much like Bill's Dracomon did. Unlike Bill's Dracomon, his body turned green instead of blue, with his red wings turning green and white, and a red horn grew out of his snout. Even the horns on his head became spiky. Once the Digivolution was done, he let out a fearsome roar.

"Coredramon!"

Thankfully, Wrestler responded well to the shout, as he digivolved and flew towards the enemy.

"Huh? Have you gone delusional a-?"

"Strike Bomber!"

Before the teacher could finish his question, Wrestler managed to block the enemy's attack with his tail strike. Though the force behind it sent some strong shockwaves. Even the teachers felt that.

"Whoa! Was that a wind?!" one asked.

"That didn't feel normal," another stated in confusion.

The teens, on the other hand, knew they shouldn't have their teachers get caught up in the conflict any more than they already have, as Kiran shouted, "Did anyone else get hurt?! We need to take them to the hospital!"

"Yeah, and that floor doesn't look steady! You should probably get out of that room, too!" Bill added.

The adults knew the kids had a point and took their leave.

With the adults out of sight, all attention was back on the pair of Bird Digimon above,

"Birds! Enemy!" Meg exclaimed.

"No kidding on that," Bill agreed. "And they don't look like they re planning to stop at any time soon."

"We also need to take Fina-sensei away from here," Kira added. "Meg and I will take her to safety. You two do something about those Digimon with your partners."

Her suggestion came as a surprise for Bill. "Huh? Why us?!"

"Because you two are the only ones with Digimon who can fly. We need to stop their fight, and find out more about what's going on in the Digital World."

When she puts it that way, Bill couldn't argue against her. Besides, he had to admit, after their encounter with MadLeomen, not to mention what was just came to light about the effects the war seemed to be having on their world, there has to be something more to this. And they need to find out what that 'something' was.

"We got the big guy!" Will exclaimed, rushing to the air battle. "Wrestler! Take on big, black and ugly!"

"On it!" Wrestler responded, running with his partner, eyes on Saberdramon.

"Will, hold it! You can't just beat them!" Bill called.

"Meg, come on! Let's leave this to them!" Kiran told her Digimon, who reluctantly agreed, as she helped her partner get her teacher on her back.

Finding no other way around this, Bill turned to Skye. "Try and see it you can talk the owl into backing down," he requested.

"I'll see what I can do," the blue Coredramon nodded, flying towards the sky battle.

Meanwhile, with Saberdramon and Aurumon, neither bird were backing down in their fight.

"Still so persistent, aren't you?!" the spy of the Angel Army glared.

"My line to you! You damn pest! Night Roar!" Saberdramon shouted, unleashing mare of his flaming

feathers at the smaller foe, in which he managed to continuously avoid.

"What uncouth attack. Midnight-!"

"Green Flare Breath!"

"Blue Flare Breath!"

At those two shouts, a par of different-colored flames suddenly bursted out, stopping the two Digimon from engaging any further.

"What the-?!" Saberdramon gasped, before he suddenly got grabbed and pulled down to the ground by Wrestler.

"Gotcha now, birdie!" he Saberdramon was battled that another Digimon was getting into the battle, Aurumon was more shocked at something else.

'What's a Coredramon doing in a place like this?!' he wondered.

"Hey! You there!" Skye called, getting his attention.

'A blue one as well?'

Noticing the owl Digimon's attention on him, Skye raised his arms in a peaceful manner. "At ease. I'm not here to fight you. I just want to talk."

With Wrestler and Saberdramon, the pair were duking it out, unleashing long-range attacks at one another. Well, Saberdramon was, after managing to get the green Coredramon off him, wanting to get some space away from him, who was countering against them using his Green Flare, rushing in an attempt to get close to the enemy.

"Why you! Stay back, you insolent dragon!" he exclaimed. "I do not have time for you!"

"After you invaded this world like that last pair? Yeah night!" Wrestler retorted, leaping into the air with his tail at ready. "Strike Bomber!" With a swing of his tail, he struck the black flaming bird back down. Upon doing so, though, he winced in slight pain from the burn.

It did not take long for Saberdramon to recover from the hit, as he rightened himself and fully faced his new opposition. "Fine then! I'll duel with you first! Black Saber!" With a flap of his wings, he sent more dark rings at Wrestler, who managed to ran around and avoided the attack.

"Come on, Wrestler! Get in close to him!" Will called in his Digivice.

"Easier said than done! Even if I want to get close, his body is way too hot for me to touch!"

So to say, Will was baffled to hear that. "Huh?! What are you complaining about?! You're a dragon, aren't you?!"

"That doesn't mean I'm fireproof!"

Will wanted to retort to that, since he had seen dragons in various games and movies be resistant to flames. However, likewise, he also remembered seeing how some dragons can be vulnerable to flames, and so could not say anything against his partner's claim.

"Okay, then how about you quit running around and take flights! You got wings on your back; fight him on even grounds!"

For some reason, Wrestler flinched at those words, in which Will noticed from his position. "Um… Funny you mentioned that," he spoke, lightly scratching his cheek, to the boy's confusion. "Look. Yes, I got these wings... But if I learned anything at all about them… They're not for flying."

Will just stared at his partner with a blank expression, trying to process what was just said.

"Can you repeat that? I could've sworn I'm hearing you say those wings don't let you fly."

"They don't."

Will's eyes widened at the confirmation. "Huh?! But what about earlier?!"

"It was just a jump! Of course I can at least jump that high!"

"What about yesterday?!"

"Also a jump! And the dive? Just my wings helping me angle myself!"

Will could not believe what he was hearing. He thought since Wrestler has wings- in fact, since he was just a green version of his brother's partner- ever he can fly in that farm. To think they were practically just decorations.

"What's the matter?" Saberdramon spoke, regaining their attention. "If you're not going to come to me, I'll come to you! Black Saber!" He unleashed more rings at Wrestler, who jumped back to avoid to the best of his abilities.

Back to Skye and Aurumon, unlike with the other winged pair, they simply stared at each other. The atmosphere for from peaceful.

"You say you wish to speck to me?" the latter questioned. "And who are you to request such? You cannot be any normal Coredramon. For you to be here with your own opposition."

"'Opposition'? I don't know what you're talking about, but if you mean I'm somehow different from you, you're not wrong about that," Skye said, slowly lowering himself to the ground, by Bill's side.

Upon noticing the human down below, Aurumon's eyes briefly widened behind his goggles. He glanced around the area, where he noticed Will with Wrestler, as they tried to stop Saberdramon. "I see. So that's how it is," he said. "It seems God has truly favored me so! Not only do I have backup assisting me in getting rid of that vile bird, it is in form of the Chosen!"

Bill was baffled by the assumption. "Wait, what?!"

"Assist me, young Chosen! That bind is a member of the Demon Army, our enemy! I may not be able to give you anything in exchange for your assistance, but I will return the favor!"

"Whoa, wait a second! Skye and I aren't going to help you stop him! We just have questions!" Bill corrected, befuddling Aurumon.

"What? You do not with the rid the would- both yours and mine- of the demons? What nonsense is this?! Don't you know that as long as those demons live, the war will never end. If my presence is of any indication, if it hasn't already, your world will also be effected by the war!"

The information baffled Bill, especially as he had an idea of how Aurumon meant. Though just to be sure... "What do you mean this world will also be affected?'

His question shocked Aurumon. "Has both Piddomon and Peacockmon taught you nothing? Should this war-!" He stopped himself when he realized something. "Wait. Where are Piddomon and Peacockmon?! The two members of the Angel Army who were sent here to teach you of the happenings of war?!"

Skye was confused by the question. "What are you talking about?"

Bill, on the other hand, understood perfectly what he meant, as he carefully answered, "Your friends… lost their way at some paint when they arrived in our world. The only person who knows about them is our friend, who passed whatever teachings she was taught to us."

A lie it may be, it was not a total lie. From what Kiran told him, the two Digimon she faced were far too quick to judge her and Meg- the latter, especially. Plus, she was taught by someone how to fight alongside her Digimon, in which she then taught him and Will. Now, if he can just carefully inform Kiran of this little lie...

"Do you mock me so?" Aurumon questioned, to the human's surprise. "You make it sound as though they have lost their lives to demons, which should not be possible! Even if it was, I doubt any demon would be so careless as to let a Chosen get away! Not if they realize of the threat you humans are to them with Digimon raised under you!"

Bill started to panic upon hearing that, "Except that's the truth! At least that's what we were told!"

"Silence. If you plan to fool me as you have been fooled, you will rethink that. Midnight Clutch!" He dove down at Bill at high speed, to the human's horror. Before his attack could connect, though, Skye got in the way and took the hit.

"Skye!" Bill cried out.

"Bill! There's no talking to this guy!" Skye exclaimed. "I know you and Kiran want to try to talk this out, but we need to stop him!"

Bill hesitated at the suggestion, before glancing back at Aurumon, who separated himself from Skye and gained distance between them.

"Right. I suppose I need to dispose of this partner of yours before going to you, don't I?" the owl Digimon uttered out. "Very well, foul lizard! Have at thee!"

"No, wait!" Bill cried out, only to be ignored as Aurumon swiftly flew around them. "Please, stop! We really just want to talk! If we can just talk and find an even ground somewhere-!"

"There is nothing to say to some liar such as you! Nor to a foolish, gullible boy that you are!"

When Aurumon said that, Bill froze, finding something familiar about the situation he was in, before quickly pushing it to the back of his head.

"I'm telling you, I'm not lying! If you can just spare a minute to hear us out, surely you will know that we are not enemies!"

"I said be silent! I've had enough of your lies, you insolent human!"

Once again, Bill was taken aback by the claim. This time, realizing why there was something familiar about this situation he was in.

*FLASHBACK*

It was back in his childhood, some time after the construction incident, after the workers awoke and claimed there were no monsters. By then, Will had already told some people of what happened. Though most did brush it off as a child's wild imagination, there were others- specifically the officers, detectives, and even some government agents- who were more lenient to take it as a lead. Only to come up empty, especially after the workers gave their piece on what happened that night.

"I saw them! Two monsters! They were the ones who did the damage! It wasn't some accident!" Will exclaimed to his parents. Specifically his father, who looked down at him in disdain.

"No, maybe it was not an accident... Maybe you did whatever damage was caused by that careful work!" their father accused, to Will's shock. "Do you have any idea how dangerous construction can get? The delicate work that needs to be done?! And yet you with all that childish went and messed it all up! Trying to cover it with a ridiculous lie!"

"No! I'm telling you, it's the truth! I really did see monsters that night!" Will exclaimed.

"Shut up! I've had enough of that lie, you insolent brat!"

As this went on, Bill only stood by the door, watching their father chew Will out for lying. Disappointed, rather, that his own twin would still try to lie to his own family about what really happened.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Looking back on that now, along with the realization of what may have truly happened back then, Bill couldn't help but think now...

'This is... just like that time.'

Even though Bill was telling the truth to Aurumon, the owl Digimon did not believe a word he said, thinking that he was siding with his enemy. Much like back when Will was trying to tell the truth of the construction incident to his family, who thought he was only hiding his own fault.

'Is this how Will felt when we were against his claims?' he then wondered.

"BILL!" Skye's shout snapped him out of his thoughts, as the boy looked up and saw his partner getting beaten down by Aurumon, who was relentlessly striking him down with Midnight Clutch.

"Right. I'll think about that later. Right now... Fly up! We need to avoid causing any more destruction on school grounds!" Bill told Skye.

"Got it!" The blue Dracomon was about to take flight at the command. Sadly, that did not go unnoticed by the enemy.

"You will not escape! Midnight Sniper!" Aurumon exclaimed, firing lasers at Skye- specifically his wings, as Skye flew around as quickly as he could.

"Break his concentration! Use your flames!" Bill called out.

"Blue Flare Breath!" Skye instantly did as told, as he turned to Aurumon and unleashed his blue flames at the owl, in which the latter flew around to avoid.

"Where on earth do you think you are aiming?" he questioned, firing more Midnight Sniper at Skye, only to miss his mark.

As they flew around, unleashing their respective attacks at one another, Bill analyzed the situation as best as he could. 'There has to be some way to stop him. But with his size and flight capabilities, it's impossible for Skye to land a hit on him at this rate. Something... There's gotta be something!'

"Face it! A follower of demons like you can never best an angel's follower such as I!" Aurumon exclaimed, resuming his Midnight Clutch assault, in which Skye endured.

"Except we are no followers. We are people, just like you! You're just being biased because we don't want to fight the other Digimon!" the blue Coredramon argued.

"You be silent! I will not hear another word from a mere beast like you!"

At his claim an idea came into Bill's head. ''Beasts'…? That's it!'

"Skye! Get back down!" he told his partner, much to his

bafflement.

"Huh?! I thought you don't want any damage done down there?" he asked.

"Don't worry. Just trust me!"

Deciding to put his trust in his partner, Skye did as told and landed, back done on the ground, in which Aurumon raised a brow at.

"I don't know what you're planning, but it makes no difference!" he claimed, diving down after Skye. "Now yield!"

"That's our line to you!" Bill retorted, taking out a DigiChip from his pocket, and inserted it info his Digivice. "DigiChip! Activate: Beast King's Fallen Fist!"

Now catching on to Bill's plan, Skye gathered as much energy as he could into his fist. As he did so, Aurumon felt a dangerous chill, radiating from the fist and suddenly kept his distance.

'What was that?! This eerie feeling… It is similar to those generals of the Demon Army!' he wondered.

"Where are you looking?!" Skye called. "Beast King's Fallen Fist!" At his attack declaration, the blue Coredramon unleashed his attack at the owl Digimon. As the lion-shaped energy fist neared him, the chill the spy of the Angel Army felt grew, causing him to hastily fly to the side and avoid it completely. As the attack went past him, Aurumon just stared at it in shock.

'That move… That's not something a Coredraman of any kind is capable of! Moreover, there's no doubting that power! It is one of the Demon General's!' he realized, fear slowly filling him.

"Strike Bomber!" With Aurumon distracted y his thoughts, he failed to notice Skye flying back up to him, as he slammed his tail at the owl, forcing him to fall.

'Dang it! I let down my guard!'

"Finish it!" Bill told his partner.

"Blue Flare Breath!" Agreeing to the idea, Skye unleashed his signature blue flames at the downed Aurumon, who was too injured from the last attack to move.

'At the very least, I mast send a report to Lord Leopardmon!' At those last thoughts, the flames struck him, succumbing him to its heat, and burned him to digital pixels.

All that remained of him was his badge, which absorbed the pixels and turned into a DigiChip, in which Bill caught in his hand. Looking down at the chip in remorse.

'We could've just talked it out,' he thought. 'We could've at least made him see that we are not enemies. And yet…' As he thought about what could've been different in that interaction with Aurumon, his mind then wandered to his childhood. Specifically, when Will tried to talk to others about what happened at the construction site. 'Was this how he felt?'

"Bill!" Bill looked up at Skye's call. "Come on! Will and Wrestler need help! Let's go!"

Deciding to think of that matter later, Bill pocketed the newly obtained DigiChip. "Right. Lets go!"

On Will's end, things weren't faring any better for him and Wrestler. Not when they were at a disadvantage against the flying Saberdramon.

"Come on, Wrestler! Do something!" he shouted.

"Can't you see I'm already trying?!" Wrestler retorted, avoiding more Black Saber. "This stinking bird is too crafty, compared to that ape we fought! He keeps using long-range attacks and keeping distance from me!"

"Then do the same! Strike back with your breath attack!" Will exclaimed. "Look at Skye over there! He's trying hard with his flames! Do the same with yours! You're both the same dragons, aren't you?!"

"Get off my back! We both may be Coredramons, but we're not the same at all! I thought you of all people would know that!"

"What?!"

"Ain't it true?! You and Bill look the same, but you're different, too, aren't you?!"

Will froze when Wrestler pointed that out. Not solely due to the truth behind the claims, but rather the words he used. Words that he knew well, with the tone he knew just as well.

*FLASHBACK*

It was back when he was young, and got labeled as 'delusional' after the Construction Incident. Despite that, Will was still insistent that he knew what he saw, which was starting to annoy a certain few people. Particularly one person.

"Can you stop with that monster nonsense, already?! You're not an infant, or a girl! Just look at your twin! You don't see him making something out of nothing. Nor do any other kids your age do that! Yet you still insist on such nonsense! Learn from your brother and act like him!" his father exclaimed.

"I'm not Bill! And I know what I saw! You gotta believe me! I'm not crazy!"

"Still so stubborn… If only you act more like your brother as you do looking like him."

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Not only did the few people he thought would believe him end up not believing his claim of there being monsters, no one accepted him after that. Not even his own family. If anything, they kept comparing him to his brother, whom many preferred, and questioned why he was nothing like Bill.

Now here he was, practically doing the same thing to Wrestler.

'Wrestler is not Skye… And I'm not Bill!' he thought, turning his attention back to the huge bird above them. 'That cowardly bird is obviously not planning on getting down. In that case!'

"Wrestler! Get ready to jump!"

To say the green Coredramon was shocked by the command would be an understatement, as he shouted, "Huh?! Are you crazy?! Did you not hear the part about me getting burned?!"

"And what are you whining about? Being a dragon out of the way, you're a man, aren't you?! Even if it does hurt that bad to touch him, then grab him where it won't burn!"

"Grab him?" Wrestler looked back up and realized what his human partner meant. "Ah, I see. I got it!"

Up above, though he didn't hear the whole conversation, Saberdramon did catch bits and pieces of what was being said down below. "I don't know what you two are planning, but it you truly believe I will let you do as you please, you are dreaming! Black Saber!"

"Make some cover!"

"Green Flare Breath!" At Will's command, Wrestler breathed his green flames at Saberdramon's dark rings, creating an explosion with the smoke concealing the surface.

"Still trying to get the upper hand, are you?" Saberdramon questioned, keeping distance from above. "When will you learn?!"

"We learned plenty! Another flare!" Will shouted, in which his partner obliged to.

"Green Flare Breath!" Another stream of green flames was breathed out from the smoke, in which Saberdramon avoided. His eyes narrowed at the spot where the flames came from.

"There, I see. Black Saber!" He unleashed more rings at the spot Wrestler was. The rings dove into the smoke, and created more explosions, bringing upon more dust in the air.

Bill widened his eyes at the action, worried about what became of Wrestler from that. He turned to Skye, wanting him to assist the green Coredramon, only to see the guy sitting back with his arms crossed, staring at the cloud of smoke.

Up above, Saberdramon smirked, assuming he was finally done with the flightless dragon. Just as he was about to turn to his next opponent, to his stupor, he suddenly felt something grab him by the ankles, forcing him to descend slightly. Looking down, he said it was none other than Wrestler.

"Surprise, birdie!"

"What?! You again! Unhand me! " Saberdramon demanded, flying around in an attempt to force the green Coredramon off him. "How in the world did you even manage to get up here? Surely you can't jump this high!"

"Then I guess it's a good thing I do a bunch of legwork exercise!" Wrestler retorted. "Will!"

"Way ahead of you!" Will answered, a DigiChip in hand, in which he inserted into his Digivice. "DigiChip! Activate: Glide Rocks!"

With the DigiChip activated, Wrestler's tail became encased in stone, with a boulder attached to the tip of his tail. With the additional weight, Saberdramon started to struggle keeping himself in the air. "Oh! You're heavy! Let me go, you stupid lizard!"

"It's 'dragon' to you. Now say 'ah'!" As Wrestler shouted that out, he swung his lower body upwards, slamming the boulder on his tail right into Saberdramon's face. The attack dazed the black bird, causing him to fall in pain.

"Geh! Why you-!"

"And here's one for good measure!" Wrestler interrupted Saberdramon, as he swung his body upwards again. This time, Saberdramon managed to avoid getting another boulder to the face. In the process, however, as the big boulder passed his face, Wrestler pulled his body down once more, and injured Saberdramon's wing, to the point that they were falling.

"Ah! Imbecile! What have you done?!" he demanded in a strained tone.

"What needed to be done!" Wrestler simply answered, keeping Saberdramon under him as they fell. "And now that you can't hide... Strike Bomber!" With the rocks still covering his tail, Wrestler took the chance to slam it down on the bird Digimon hard, causing him to crash into the ground. Upon his defeat, like Aurumon, Saberdramon also dispersed into digital pixels, which got absorbed into his own badge, and turned it into a DigiChip.

"Yes! Nice one! I knew you had it in you!" Will cheered, as Wrestler landed on the ground, with his tail reverting back to normal.

"Heh. Well of course. Just what was I worrying about?" he said.

As the pair chuckled at their accomplishment, Bill could only stare at the pair in slight bafflement. Particularly his twin. Although he often saw him in various sports clubs, working together with his teammates to ensure victory, not once did Will ever have a smile on his face. Most likely because of the Construction Incident. With the many negative views on him since that one event, no child would ever want to approach him, which made working in teams more difficult than it should be.

'And I'm partially at fault for that...' Bill realized.

"Hey! Guys!" a voice called out to them, snapping them back to reality, as they turned and saw Meg approaching them.

"Meg! Hey!" Bill called out.

With the fighting now done, Bill and Will followed Meg to regroup with Kiran, who was with the teachers as they waited for an ambulance to arrive. She would've left them earlier to help fight against the Digimon, but unfortunately the adults were insistent that she remained with them for a while. Thankfully, by the time the ambulance came and took their injured sensei to the hospital, Kiran was finally allowed to leave, and the trio with their Digimon partners walked down the street away from school.

Once she noticed they were at a good distance away from Copace High, Kiran turned to the twins. "Okay. Now that things are calm, let's continue what we were talking about earlier."

"The Digimon… Are you sure they have already been coming here before your accident?" Bill questioned.

"There's no doubting it. You saw what happened with the teachers. While we were worried if the Digimon's fight would get out of hand, they didn't notice them one bit. At most, aside from that one explosion- an explosion they assumed was caused by some computer virus or something- the only acknowledgement they had for the Digimon was the shockwave caused when Wrestler's attack and Saberdramon's rings collided. Even then, they didn't know what was going on."

Will thought back to the expressions their teachers had. Ones that he recalled well. "Just like the construction workers, back at their site. I saw monsters attacking and pointing to them, but they didn't know what I was talking about. Just more focused with the destruction," he stated.

Bill widened his eyes at this. "So then… If that is true then, for how long has their world been affecting ours?!"

Kiran pressed her lips together at that question. "Going by the teachers' assumption about the explosion incident… Maybe since the first mystery virus."

The boys went silent at the response, unsure what to think about it. While the Digimon were lost in the conversation, having not known anything about the horrible incident their partners were talking about, from the way they were looking, it had to be something bad.

If only they knew, their lives were about to get even more twisted.
