Harry was Holding down the taller man, twisting his arm, the sound of bones cracking bringing him out of his haze.
He slowly remembered where he was. He wasn't in the field. Wasn't surrounded by Death Eaters... wasn't fighting for his life.
Beneath him WAS Akihiko Usami, famous novelist... and Takahiro's best friend.
Harry panicked, he released the man, and jumped out of the room.
Usami groaned, picking up something... and Harry realized it was a book... the Yaoi Manga, Harry found downstairs... the one that clearly showed Usami fantasized about his brother... but were fantasies justification for attacking him.
Harry was breathing hard, and the older man sat up, and-and just sat there looking at the book.
"I would never take advantage of Takahiro." said the man
Harry vaguely remembered screaming something about that... then Usami had made some quick movement... and the Child Soldier took over... Harry was angry, and lost control... he should know better... he was dangerous...
"These fantasies, are as close to tainting Takahiro as I will allow myself."
Harry looked at the man, at the way he nursed his shoulder... while caressing the book.
Harry just attacked a man... for having a crush... Harry ran.
Usami found Harry in the troll market. Although it wasn't exactly a safe place for non-magicals.
The Magical Ministry of Japan, wasn't part of the ICW. So most non-magicals were aware of the supernatural. Such spiritual creatures were considered near holy... though acknowledged as dangerous.
Stepping into a dive bar, Takahiro told him about, Usami was relieved to find the boy... less relieved to see the boy had already down three bottles of magically enhanced Sake.
The boy was laughing, and flirting away with a succubus... whom looked strangely terrified.
Usami approached, before casually sitting next to Misaki. As the boy looked at him, the succubus took the opportunity to flee. The boy cheered, as Usami ordered another bottle of Sake.
"Ya know," Misaki smiled, slightly slurring his words. "Takahiro thinks Ah ca'me here, because Ah have a death wish." He laughed. "He really is far too naive... death is just the only thing I'm good at."
Suddenly, every monster in the bar, burst into flames, their screams echoing for miles. Misaki looked down at the burning monsters, wearing a strangely innocent, if not out right goofy, grin... a half mad look in his eyes.
The bartender sighed. "You know, business always slows to a trickle, for at least a few months, after you kill all my patrons."
Harry grinned, before upturning a coin purse. A few dozen platinum coins, poured onto the counter. With Harry catching one that was about to roll off.
Putting it back in the pile, Harry cheered, "That should hold you over until they respawn."
Usami was relieved to hear this bar had a respawn point. That resurrected anyone who died here... it would make sense why the more aggressive monsters favored this bar. This way, they could legally kill each other, without fear of facing murder charges.
"It only takes a few hours to respawn," The Bartender sighed. "They simply become too skittish, to come back here, anytime soon."
Misaki snickered, waving off the bartender's concern. "With the amount of money, I invest in this bar. You hardly need customers." Then took a drink, straight from the bottle, as the bodies vanished.
"Takahiro will be disappointed you fell off the wagon," Usami informed the most dangerous teenager he'd ever met.
Misaki froze, the effect that sheer phrase had, being almost as frightening as the boy's power.
Placing the bottle down, Misaki lost his goofy expression.
"He's all I have," Misaki whispered. Then looked at Usami. "What he tell you about me?"
"Everything," Usami confessed. Taking his first drink, from his own bottle. "I know about your hard childhood. Your years as a child soldier, when you should have been safe at school... your disappearance for a year, only for Takahiro learn you'd been fighting a wizarding civil war, back in Britain... how proud he was, when you finally decided to get sober."
Misaki sighed, then looked at the bar tender. "One sobering potion," he ordered.
"Those give a hell of a hang over," Warned the bartender, but reached for the vial.
"I need it," Misaki insisted.
Getting the potion, Misaki downed it. Then gave a shudder, as it took affect.
"Thanks Shippo," Harry told the fox demon, before squaring his tab, and leaving with Usagi.
