...

Her eyes shot awake, her body momentarily felt numb. She tried to sit herself up, only to find that her body was strained against her will. There were no bonds or cuffs on her hands, so it must've been an extreme case of fatigue. The bed felt comfortable, though.

She rubbed her head, trying to recall whatever happened prior to her awakening in here. She tilted to the right, only to see a familiar face greeting him in the bedside.

"You came back for me..." Tatsumaki said in an invigorating tone, "But I..I berated you the last time we-"

"It doesn't matter." Yagi interrupted, "You reacted accordingly. It's fine."

Tatsumaki seemed thoughtful, as she tried to reach for the man's cheeks, only to retract her arms back, "...I was out for how long?"

Yagi noticed her advances; He rubbed circles on the area near her knuckles, much to her surprise, "You were out for quite some time. A couple of days at best, if I had to guess."

"Was I..?" Tatsumaki gritted her teeth, "What happened?"

"Something took ahold of you." Yagi explained, bringing the chair he was sitting in closer to the bed, "But that's all behind us now."

Tatsumaki shook her head, "No. No, it's not 'behind us'. The thing that took me under it's control.. It's..."

Yagi was silent, waiting for her to finish. But she couldn't, so he decided to ask instead, "You seem to know a great deal about this 'entity', don't you?"

"I.. I'm sorry, I don't know if you should know-"

"I should." Yagi interjected, pressing into the subject even more, "They said we've fought before. I didn't get the chance to ask because time was stretched thin, but now that we're here.."

"... Toshi."

"Tats, it's okay." Yagi held Tatsumaki's hand softly, "Please. The truth is much more consequential than whatever it is will happen."

"It took control of my mom, years ago. Remember?"

"Your mom?"

"Psykos." Tatsumaki replied, "The criminal that's been missing for over a couple of years. She's...my mom."

Psykos...Psykos?

Now that she mentioned it...That monster weirdo said something about a 'Psykos' as well...wait...

...

Yagi held his hand up, "This 'Psykos', have I heard of her from somewhere?"

"She was an infamous villain back in the days, so-"

"No. I mean, specifically, do I know her?" Yagi asked once more, "Were we affliated? Or perhaps, I..No, did she do something that might have.." Yagi's lips trembled, as he processed the incoming information running rampantly on his mind.

Then, it clicked. Everything was clear to him. Yagi was frozen in his place, unable to utter a word.

"Toshi?"

His expression, it shuddered her. It's as if something unimaginable took ahold of him, slithering itself over him, taking control over him.

Then, the television's screen fluttered into life. Yagi tilted his head towards the device, only to see a news headline pampered at the bottom.

Villains at loose. UA is the target? The Hero Commission goes radio silence?

Yagi's eyes darkened, as his feet moved to the exit of the room, "Stay here. I won't be for long."

"Toshi! Are you sure..."

"I'm okay." Yagi nodded, "Don't worry about it." He then slammed the door as he went outside, leaving Tatsumaki none-the-wiser.

...

"What the hell is going on in here?" Yagi hissed, taking another step as he did so. The rain began to flutter against the ground, the droplets forming a puddle that piled on the pothole. This display set the monster's fears ablaze, as they contemplated whether to stay still or run. They remained silent, each of their limbs trembling.

All except for one: Muscular. With a tough exterior, he advanced forward, cracking his neck as he spoke, "The lot of them have spilled the tea about you. They sung the praises of your name, told of your inconceivable strength. I ain't gonna let an opportunity such as this one pass. I wanna see that strength for myself."

Yagi wasn't paying attention to the villain's waffle at all. He scanned the environment around him, to see if there was any students there that needed his help. One person stands out the most out of all the battered kids: Midoriya Izuku, laying near the feet of the insect monster.

...Oh.

"Hey!" Muscular cut his train of thoughts, "Are you paying attention?!"

Yagi picked on his ear, "Yeah, yeah, something about roughing me up, isn't it?"

Muscular was about to speak further, but then, he took note of something: The way Yagi gazed upon the prone form of a particular green haired boy. His lips stretched upwards, as he spoke, "Perhaps you lack motivation," he pointed at Izuku's unconscious body, "If you don't take this seriously within the next few seconds, you might not like what would befall that brat."

"O- Oi..." Bug God then interjected, "You really don't want to-"

"PUSSIES!" Muscular cut through his words like a sharpened scythe, "You were acting tough earlier, then a guy pops up and suddenly you're all rigid? Can't even see it through to the end, can you?!"

Yagi chimed in, "Hey, all things considered, they were kinda justified in staying put and not retaliating. Not that I give a rat's dick about your general welfare, but if you don't want to wind up in the hospital, I strongly advise against doing otherwise."

"Is that a threat?" Muscular's fists clenched tightly, "I assure you, I'm not like the others. I'll beat that smug look out of your face."

Yagi snorted, taking a step forward without saying a word. Enamored by his bravado, Muscular did likewise. A spark of excitement elicited from within his chest, "Yes! YES! Come closer!"

Before Muscular could even react, however, like a streak of lightning, Yagi sprinted forward at a speed that no human eye could conceive. With the violent breeze of the wind, Yagi appeared in front of the villain along with it, an eerie penumbra cast all over his eyes.

Muscular rammed his fist against the hero's frame, which seemed to phased through the attack. The dust trailed away from his movements; Yagi was already standing behind the villain with his fist cocked back, leaving no room for him to react against it. Muscula swiftly twisted his hip around, meeting Yagi's ardent gaze.

'...Death.'

Everything froze in his perspective for a moment. Yagi's fist was the prominent object in his sight, and it was heading straight towards him. If it connected..no...

If it even grazed him by an inch, he'd have no way of avoiding it, much less, surviving it.

Then, the trajectory of the fist abruptly came to a halt, marring the landscape behind him greatly. An enormous amount of wind pushed against the current like a projectile, scattering the remaining debris in the process.

Shock reeled throughout his mind, as he took a step back, overwhelmed by this excessive display of power. His eyes went wide, his feet quivering, "Y...You..you..."

The villain's eyes fluttered, and his body limply collapsed into the floor.

Yagi didn't say anything throughout the whole ordeal. He kept himself silent, letting all the aftermath do the talking. He retracted his fist back, turning around to walk towards the other monsters, who watched the whole thing unfold with fear gripping their hearts.

King, on the other hand, took a step back. He didn't want to meddle; he didn't want to be a liability down the line.

McCoy slammed the table with his hand, the news of the failure growing to his ire. What's worse was, the fact that All Might had to be there in the worst of times. He was going to win! He was going to take it all, to have all the pieces to himself, to gain the leverage over the other parties participating in the board.

But no..

And that rat...

"DON'T FALL BACK!" McCoy screamed into the phone, "Whatever happens, don't fall back! Our armies are vast! With the sufficient numbers, surely not even All Might can stop them!"

But the voice from the other line seemed to be in disagreement with the director's assesment. Hearing this, McCoy yelled back at the phone, "Listen here: As the director, my order is absolute. You understand me? If you don't act right this instance, I'll have my heroes detain you in an excruciating hell that not even the likes of you can endure!"

He hung up the line, slamming the phone against the desk. He gripped the wooden surface of the desk with his fingers, digging through it, peeling off the nails one by one.

But then..

The door ahead of him slid to the side, revealing a figure that he didn't recognise. Baffled, McCoy demanded for his identity, "Who are you?"

"An ally from an unlikely place." The man with a black shirt beneath the vest with pockets and armoured gauntlets spoke, "It seems that you've gotten yourself into quite the predicament."

"You bypassed our security...that by itself is an illegal act. Do you know how much trouble you could've gotten yourself into?" McCoy said, the edge in his voice increasing.

"I'm well aware," The man then sat on the chair on the other end, "But I'm not acting in my own self interests."

"Oh? And by whose are you acting?"

The man clasped his hands, leaning forward as he said, "An organisation far, far grander than the one you're standing besides right now."

McCoy remained still, curious as to what this 'organisation' was and what power it held.

"All I ask is for us to form an agreement, an alliance of some sort, and all your troubles will be rectified imminently."

"Tell me this first: What sort of organisation are we even talking about right now?" McCoy asked.

"The Hero Public Safety Commission is naught but a placeholder. The organisation that I speak of is something that will replace the HPSC by it's entirety."

McCoy didn't take this statement very well, "Oh, you sure have quite the confidence. And I take it that you want me to give my undisputable position up for this organisation of yours?"

"Your mind and your resources would be quite beneficial to our cause," The man puts his hand on the desk, "It doesn't matter what will befall the HPSC, all that matters is that the hero industry will remain at the top."

McCoy grumbled, "And if I leave for this 'organisation', will I have the leisure of acting independently outside of the company's interests?"

"Surely not."

"Then I decline." McCoy made his decision, "All the things I've done are for my own benefit, like it or not."

"I like your candidness." The man leaned against the back of the chair, "What if I say, that our interests align more than you might think?"

"And what sort of interests are those?"

"The kind that can, in a way, 'fill in the vacant pockets'."

McCoy was silent for a moment. Then, a smile was plastered over his face, liking where this was going, "Interesting. What's your name, by the way?"

The man cleared his throat, before replying, "Accel. Pleased to make your acquaintance, McCoy."

...

Yagi's presence was culling, overwhelming, overarching. None of the monsters there had the incentive to say anything, much less retaliate. With every step, they shuddered at the thought of what would happen to them once he got close enough.

But Royal Ripper wasn't having any of it, "You think you can barge in here, make demands, threaten us, and expect us..to do nothing?"

"I mean, that's kind of what you've been doing for the past few minutes or so.." Yagi retorted.

"Royal Ripper!" Bug God urged him to stay put.

Royal Ripper shouted, assuming a stance and readying his arm-mounted blades, "I'm putting this bastard six feet under if it's the last thing I'm gonna do!"

"ROYAL RIPPER! NO!"

Royal Ripper charged forward, preparing himself to deliver a barrage of violent slashes towards the hero. But there was so little he could do. It elicited no reaction out of Yagi. Not even the slightest grunt. The blades shattered on contact, ending it's relentless frenzy. The fragments were scattered all over the floor, sinking into the puddle.

"So, is this the part where you scramble and yap around like a buffoon?" Yagi asked simply, gripping the monster's wrist, twisting it around slowly, "Guess not."

Royal Ripper's confidence faltered, as he took a step back, "What the hell are you?"

Then, a horde of monsters advanced forward from the front gates, their eyes landing on none other than Yagi himself. Royal Ripper turned his eyes over to the army of monsters marching onward..

"And here I thought they didn't have it in them." He smirked, before speaking to Yagi once again, "You're fucked, sunshine. Ain't matter how tough you are, there's gotta be a ceiling in that insurmountable power of yours."

Yagi paid him no further heed, as his attention was diverted to the monsters in front of him.

Ah, and there were ninjas too.

What a pain.

He chopped the bandaged monster firsthand, knocking him out cold, before hopping away backwards, luring the monsters somewhere else secluded, away from the range of any known residential areas.

With every contact his feet made with the ground, the more they clattered. The monsters were relentless. They were out for blood. They never ceased with their pursuit. The longer they gazed at him, the more their hatred consolidates.

Once they reached the outskirts, Yagi's pace came to an abrupt halt. His feet slid back against the dried dust. Once he stopped, the monsters did as well. The ninja's landed in front of them, speaking on their behalf, "An innate display of speed. Such precision..you could've been a gem amongst our brethrens."

Yagi absent-mindedly listened to the man's rambles, not uttering a word in response. The ninja took a step forward, drawing his blade, "Tell me, are you the fabled fist that had turned itself against 'God'?"

"God?" Yagi's brow perked in interest. That name seemed familiar. Something that he had encountered before, perhaps?

"You might need to elaborate on that one." Yagi insisted.

"You possess such an unquantifiable amount of strength, yet you've never heard of 'God'."

"Yeah, yeah, just fill me in already, will you?" Yagi urged, feeling any semblance of his patience fading.

"He is a being beyond a mortal's comprehension. A being that exists outside of the boundaries of time and space. The catalyst to creation. The barrier between order and chaos." The ninja exclaimed, raising his blade into the air, pointing at the sky, "He is the being that would bring to us salvation. A chance of being liberated from the bondage of humanity, to start anew-"

"Okay, okay, enough." Yagi held his hand up, "This is starting to feel more like a convoluted prattle than an actual explanation."

"-And he will put an end to the devastation that humanity has left in it's wake. The earth's tainted image will be purified once humanity is purged out of existence. A new era-"

"Oi. Did you even hear me?" Yagi said, exasperated, "Man, you can't even talk like a normal person. At least put the corny shit behind and speak properly."

The ninja scoffed, "You don't understand, I am explaining this to you in a way that even the most imbecilic infant can comprehend."

"Nah, you lost me at 'salvation'. You didn't even bother to elaborate on that one. Purging humanity out of existence? Did someone loosened the screws in that twisted mind of yours?" Yagi demanded.

"...tell me, Abominable Fist That Turned Against God-"

"It's Yagi. Yagi Toshinori. Not Abrogated Fist or whatever." Yagi deadpanned. But the man continued regardless.

"-if there was an entity out there that far exceeds the current level that you're in right now...what would you do?" The ninja asked, his lips slithering upwards, "Would you act as you are now, with this lax attitude, foolishly undermining your adversaries and the potential threat they might possess?"

Yagi didn't say anything. He attentively listened to the man and his words.

"No answers? Just as I thought. You may be the most powerful man in the world," The ninja moved his feet forward, his blade clashing against the ground as he didnso, "But you lack tenacity. Discipline. Skills. You name it."

Yagi crossed his arms, remaining silent.

"...since you're so hesitant to speak, why don't we end the pleasantries, and let the battle begin? The monsters, they're eager." The ninja licked his lips, "And so am I."

Yagi finally spoke, "Eh, go ahead. I'm getting tired of the squabble anyway."

"So be it. ATTA-"

"HEY! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE, YOU INANE, SALIVA-EATING DOG!" Came an enraged voice from the right side. The monsters collectively turned their heads towards the source of that voice...

Only to see a giant, six-eyed dog rushing towards their direction, it's mouth blazing with flame.

Oh.

"Shit-" The ninja exclaimed as the flame surged forward, engulfing all of the monsters in a fiery frenzy, scorching their bodies from the inside out. Their ashes drifted in the air, gradually settling onto the ground.

Yagi bafflingly stared at the both of them, "Uh..."

Black Sperm struggled to keep the dog in one place, gripping it's fur to prevent it from moving any further, "Ugh...fucking..stay put!"

It wasn't until the monster noticed that there were myriads of burnt corpses encircling the area he was standing in, "Uh, did you..hey, did you do that?" Black sperm asked the dog.

It was Yagi's turn to speak, however, "What in the actual fuck are you two doing in here?"
