Issue 1: Quest for Power
Baxter Building, New York City.
BGM-Lego Marvel Super Heroes OST-Racing
Just an ordinary afternoon at New York City, home of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Civilians stroll down streets enjoying life. Police officers are doing their job catching crooks. An explosion at the fantastic Baxter Building forcing its owners to pursue the perpetrator through the sky. The metal-faced monarch of Latveria, Doctor Doom, is responsible for that attack for unknown reasons. Reasons he refuses to waste time explaining to his heroic pursuers in their Fantasti-Car. The Fantastic Four.
"Let me drive, Stretch!" complained Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, on the family hover vehicle.
"Leave him alone, Ben." quipped Susan Storm, aka the Invisible Woman.
"What is Doom thinking? Attacking us in our own home?!" wondered Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch that is flying on his own thanks to his flaming abilities granted to him by cosmic rays.
"Doom is one of the smartest people on the planet. He knew the only way past my high-tech security was a surprise mystical attack like this. He took something of mine, and I'd like to know what." Reed Richards, aka Mister Fantastic, frowned while wondering what villainous plot his arch-nemesis is cooking this time.
Catching Doom is being difficult. The Fantasti-Car was built to be one of the fastest vehicles on the planet. Yet Doom's little hovercraft is proving to be faster as he maintains the lead with no difficulty. "Reed, babe, let me go for it. I can do it." The cocky Torch requested himself to catch the villain.
"Be careful!" Reed advised, accepting his request.
"Be MORE than careful!" Sue shouted, knowing her little brother can often be reckless.
"Flame on!" Torch exclaims while turning up the heat, giving himself an incredible boost in speed that's noticed by the Latverian tyrant and prompting him to swiftly drift a corner that tricks the hothead into crashing into a skyscraper.
"Great job yelling 'flame on' so he knows you're comin'." Thing facepalmed at his teammate's stupidity.
"Don't lose him!" Sue advised the team.
Doom is still in the lead of this sky chase as it looks like he's descending from the sky, getting closer and closer in escaping his annoying pursuers. "Uh, excuse me, he's gettin' away." Thing snarked.
"I got this." Sue responded whilst standing on her seat. Psionic energies envelop her hand as she taps into her own cosmic power, creating a forcefield that shoots Doom's vehicle to explode from the inside. "I believe a 'booyah' is in order." She expressed her little achievement.
Doom is panicking as he is unable to regain control of his damaged ride before it blows up in his face, causing him to fall and be hit by Torch's fireball and jokes, "I did say 'flame on', so don't act all…surprised." That annoyed the dictator into casting a dark magic spell that shuts off his fire powers, causing him to fall with the bonus of screaming, "Flame on, flame on, FLAME ON! Um…help!"
"Got ya!" shouted Reed, using his cosmic power to stretch out a large hand that catches his brother-in-law.
"Frickin' black magic. It is not fair!" Torch complained.
Unfortunately for Doom, nothing but the street stops his fall as he crashes into it with painful force. And the pain will intensify if he allows Thing to do his thing. "Guess what time it is?!" He taunted while jumping off the Fantasti-Car.
"Prattling moron." Doom mocked, calmly uppercutting the rock giant into a building before ranting, "You insipid trolls! I was born of-.", and is immediately silenced by Sue's forcefield imprisoning him.

"Force field. You're under arrest, Dr. Doom." Sue taunted, whilst her husband parks the car beside their captured nemesis.
"Do you, uh, have the authority to arrest him, sis?" Torch asked, having regained access to his powers.
"Sure. Why not?" Susan quipped.

"You break into our home? You attack us in front of our children?" Richards interrogated his rival for answers on his devious intentions.
"I am your superior in every conceivable way, Richards. You will learn to respect me even if it's with your dying breath." Doom threatened.
"Speaking of breath, have you tried flossing?" Thing snarked after recovering from the earlier attack.
"Aww snap!" Torch joked.
"Children." Doom has had enough and unleashes powerful magic that blows away all four of his fantastic enemies. The next thing they knew, Doom was gone. Left nothing but smoke that makes the heroes wonder about his whereabouts.
"Get ready for it. He's around here somewhere." Torch advised cautiously.
"He's gone." Reed realized their enemy retreated to parts unknown.
"Good." Thing commented.
"Did he kill himself? Because, really, that would be…awesome." Torch joked.
"No one with the ego of Victor von Doom would ever kill themselves." Sue told him, knowing Doom is still alive.
"Well…no, that's true." Torch quipped.
Doom is gone and the day is saved. The only one still concerned about this whole mess is Reed. He is extraordinarily smart enough to know that a piece of the puzzle is missing. That puzzle being Doom's master plan. He studies a mini-hologram of the Baxter Building to find out what it is but can't find the answer for the life of him, causing him to mutter, "He took something from me. I know it.", with an ominous feeling in his stomach.

Castle Doom, Doomstadt. Latveria.
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance OST-Castle Doom (Castle Doom ~Ambience~)
That same afternoon Doctor Doom retreated to his castle in the tiny European nation eternally devoted to him. Latveria. Despite his tyrannical tantrums, the Latverians still love their misguided master even though he would never ever return the favor. They are simply content with him brooding up another villainous plot in his alchemist laboratory.
"That egotistical fool thought I would be simple enough just to attack him. I was there searching. Searching to see if Richards had what I need in his possession. But I see he does not. Everything he has, I have." said Doctor Doom, holding up a Baxter Building hologram. "Why? Why does this power elude me?!" As he monologues, more images are projected before his sinister eyes. Images like a prison island at New York and a dinosaur land in Antarctica, none of them useful to Doom, "I have searched the world. I have studied magics that do not exist anymore. I have conquered every science! All I see are these artifacts." The images then change to display five mystical relics of immense power: A Wand that strengthens magic ability. A Tablet that grants immortality. A Crown that links to an evil serpent god. A Book that knows the most powerful white magic in the universe. A Seed that gifts one with the cosmic power of they all fail to impress Doom in the slightest, "Powerful as they are they will not bring me my heart's desire." But that does not stop him from acknowledging their danger as he mutters, "But they could defeat me if in the right hands. They must be dealt with. It is time to look past this dimension."

BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order OST-Twisted Reality
A seamless mystical gesture from Doom to his boiling cauldron warps the fabric of reality around him, teleporting the doctor to another dimension. This reality is twisted and extremely hostile. An amalgamation of itself and all other dimensions that were absorbed by the Ruler of this Dark Dimension. "Dormammu!" Doom shouted for him without absolute fear.
Flames burst before Doom's unfazed demeanor for the Dread One to emerge from them. Dormammu has a flaming skull for a face and is all-powerful in his Dark Dimension, towering before his uninvited guest while coldly addressing him as, "Mortal."
Doom retorts with, "My name is-."
"Victor von Doom." Only for Dormammu to reveal he is all-knowing as well.
"I come here offering trade." Doom claimed that he has come to bargain.
"And what is it you have to offer?" Dormammu asked.
"I can offer you your Earth-bound enemies. I can give you Dr. Strange…or anyone else that has kept you from seeking your fortune." Doom proposed.
"And in return?" Dormammu responded with curiosity in how this bargain might benefit the doctor.
"Power." Doom simply said.
"What kind of power?" Dormammu wondered.
"The kind of power you possess. The kind of power that would make the earthly plane tremble." Doom elaborated.
"I must say, it is interesting that you come to me with this, because I cannot think of anything I would like LESS than YOU with that kind of power." Dormammu expressed the consequences of this bargain, believing Doom would be a danger to all if he ever obtains godlike power.
"Speak wisely, demon." Doom threatened with a cold glare.
"How would helping you, the most power-hungry mortal of the earthly plane…How would giving YOU access to that kind of power be in my best interest?" Dormammu questioned him.
"Because of what you get in return." Doom responded.
"I'll be honest with you, Victor. I don't see this happening." Dormammu declines the bargain by unleashing chaotic flames that Doom is struggling to counter with his magic. "I wonder Doom, is this still about your poor, dead, gypsy mother?" taunted the Dread One, easily tanking the doctor's mystic beams.
"RRAAAAAAAAWRRRR!" Doom roared with rage and more powerful beams that are starting to irritate the Dread Dormammu.
"It takes a special kind of mortal arrogance to think so well of yourself when there is SO MUCH evidence to the contrary." Dormammu retorted, retaliating with power that prove too much for Doom's defenses to handle as he collapses to his knees in exhaustion. "As much as I would like to see you flail in agony for the rest of your days…" He then hits him with a torturous blast that is warping reality around the screaming doctor, "I believe I will cast you out whence you came. With a lesson!"
Suddenly, Doom finds himself in his castle's throne room. Dormammu is nowhere to be seen. Only his ominous voice can be heard in Doom's head, warning him to, 'Learn your place, Doctor. Or it will be the end of you.'
"No! RARRRGHH!" Doom yells out his frustrations in failing to claim Dormammu's power. But this is Doctor Doom. He is way too stubborn to admit defeat. He promises himself that he will obtain the ultimate power to rule the Earth. The universe itself. Even if his quest sacrifices countless dimensions.
