Phantoms of Mufasta and Aldera
Namosa Tsukuachi had seen a lot of scumbags in his tenure as a cop: Murders, kidnappers, sociopaths, you name it, he'd seen at least one. He'd known he'd see this kind of stuff when he enlisted and he liked to think that he'd handled them all well, espiecally since he'd gotten to be All Might's trusted cop partner.
The guy…or guys…no, guy in front of him? On paper nothing too big… but dear lord was he disgusting to look at and smell.
To the public, he was 'the Sludge villain.' His birth name was Suraimu Setto; a dime a dozen thug who'd spent his life in and out of prison; one of the kind who loved being a villain and had committed any crime under the sun. The highlight of this guys' career and his probable bragging rights when he returned to prison was that he'd been the one to scar Izuku Midoriya.
Okay, technically it was Katsuki Bakugo's quirk and, as much as Tsukauchi hated to admit it, an ill-timed Detroit Smash, but Setto had been controlling Bakugo at the time.
And his current situation made him all the more disgusting: Kai Chisaki was dead; killed by a heart attack by the realization he, a germaphobe, was fused with such a disgusting Quirk. And while the Sludge villain had used Katsuki's quirk freely all those months ago, it seemed that he was unable to use Overhaul
So, Tsuakuchi was stuck interrogating a tall creature made of mud with the head and arms of a dead Yakuza hanging all over his body.
"Izuku Midoriya is…"
"Alive. Yeah, yeah, I heard you the first time. And I don't care for that right now. What I want to know is what was going through your head when you broke into the home of a United Nations member official and if you know anything about the corpse sticking out of you."
It boiled down to revenge for the both: Setto had apparently seen Kai's memories before he died, so he told the detective the story of a little girl with a Quirk that could destroy others, how the boy Setto had scarred had saved her alongside the Toga girl….
"Again, don't care for her yet."
Overhaul had been able to find Izuku's residence quickly and had been going stir crazy waiting for someone, anyone to come in so that he could kill them in revenge for costing him Eri. But he'd, rather humorously, fallen asleep, awoken only when Setto had attacked Izuku.
As for Setto himself? He revealed in glee that a single but of Sludge hadn't been collected that day, and that was enough for him to eventually grow himself a separate body from the one in prison. It had taken some time, but when he heard some other kids talking about Midoriya, he'd managed to listen in enough to find out which apartment complex he stayed at. Then it was all a matter of sneaking in, finding out how lived where and waiting….while also snacthing some valuables to pawn off later.
"So, Officer. What kind of deals are available?" He asked in a hopeul tone, once he was done talking.
"None." Tsukauchi said.
"….Um…what?"
"We'd been monitoring the Midoriya apartment for a while; they're in a safe house. You've given us nothing new to work with and considering what the news is now showing?"
He pointed to a TV, showcasing several students being brought out of Aldera Junior high, being comforted by medics and Pros while some had injuries tended to.
"I think its safe to say that Izuku and his gang being alive will be public knowledge by breakfast tomorrow. Besides, you turned a boy into a villain. We. Don't. Deal. With child hurting scum."
He then turned to leave, then paused.
"Oh! Quick question: When you recombine with your other body…will it hurt now that HE's in there?"
Setto's eyes widened. He hadn;'t thought of that.
"We'll see if Eraserhead is available to help with that."
TSR
It had started with an anonymous E-mail. All of them, former students in Izuku and Katsuki's last junior high class, had received one: Telling them to return to the old stomping grounds one last time, to tell their stories about the villain in their class for a reporter.
Any smart person would've ignored it or sent it to the police. But evidently, this class was not filled with the brightest students: ANY chance for fame? They'd leap at that.
They'd all arrived to the unlocked school, bought some vending machine food and drink and chatted as they waited for their host: A perky goth lady.
Suddenly, the lights flicked off. Then a single spotlight came on, revealing their host; Dimitra.
"Wow, you all actually came." She smiled. "Good. Because you're all part of my last project. Shuichi, sweetie?"
Giant screens suddenly descended as pipe organ music began to play: Specifically, the Phantom of the Opera, played by La Brava and Mr. Compress.
Vidoes then began to play; all of bullying, mocking or teasing Izuku.
"W-we only did that cause everyone..!" One boy, who could bulk himself up started, only to be slammed into the ground by Spinner.
Two of Bakugo's cronies, Fingers and Spike Knuckle quirked, raced forward, only for someone to block their view.
"D-D-D-De-Deku?!"
A smile, dopey but sadistic crossed the green boy's face as he removed his All Might corner mask, revealing the burnt and blind eye.
"Well, well, well! Still can't say my name, eh? You really are like Bakugo." He spat out that last name with such venom, not at all like the scaredy cat they all knew.
For some reason, Fingers felt angry and swung a fist….only for Izuku to grabbed the hand and force it open.
"…Please don't."
"Mmmmm….Nah." Izuku said as he began to break the fingers easily. The boy's buddy readied his knuckles and swung his fist, only for a butterfly knife to enter his hand. "Man, you really ARE dumb!"
Izuku then began to cackle…and melt? Soon, where was once Izuku Midoriya, stood Himiko Toga, delighting at her best friends' bullies sobbing and bleeding, even if their blood looked awful. She pulled out the knife and kicked the otyher boy and licked it…she gagged.
The other students all began to glow, pink for the girls and blue for the boys, the latter of which found themselves floating upwards and then racing towards the former. The sight of them all slamming into each other, some complaining about WHO they slammed in, made Magne chuckle as she appeared and revealed her Magnet staff.
"Now, you all just stay here and think about what you did." Kenji smirked, her face frowning when she saw some of the girls and recalled how Izuku had offered them Valentines they'd mocked him for. She focused her glares on them, incidentally as the screens showed some tweets and updates pertaining to those:
'What kind of girl wants a Quirkless loser?'
'Wow, pathetic if Deku is giving you Valentines.'
'Desperate Deku should just go gay. Or Asexual. '
"How very disappointing." Gentle Criminal, sipping tea as he watched, mused. "Izuku endured far worse and never shed a tear. Admittedly, one of his eyes can't anymore, but still."
He remembered his classmate Takeshitta, AKA Pro Hero Bo. Yes, it stung he no longer remembered him, but thanks to Izuku, Gentle knew that that man had earned Pro-Hood and his small but loyal fandom; saving civilians from villain caused demolition, helping Farmer's Markets and even growing bamboo for Pandas.
Unlike these brats who thought Quirks were all that mattered. How the hell had this school failed them that badly?
The former students began to run for the door, but more and more images of Izuku blocked their paths, all projected by drones; all piloted by Dimitra. Himiko then abandoned her victims and bounded over, locking the door.
Now, there was one more door; one that led directly outside. The students doubled for that one, only for Magne to slam them back into the ground and Spinner to throw several knives to make them pause.
"Don't bother calling." The goth villain smirked as she walked over, her face adopting a smile as she got closer to Spinner, kicking a few of the downed students when they got in her way. "No signal aside from mine can get out."
"Please, let us go!" One of the girls begged.
"But dear children, isn't this what you wanted?" Gentle asked. He didn't full approve of this, but when making a statement… "'Do unto others as you'd have unto you' and all that. And with all you did to my protégé? Well, he is merely doing that."
"Fun fact! He set up and planned this whole thing!" La Brava added as she let Mr. Compress take over playing, the song picking up as the spotlights began to focus on the other door; the one that hadn't been locked.
Dimitra, finally at her beloved, then hung into Spinner and nuzzled his snout, making him calm down.
"Its okay Shuichi. I know you're mad. We all are. But these kids, shits as they are? They're not the ones who hurt you. Don't let them win."
This calmed down the Stain fanboy enough to let the boy he was pinning down scramble to his feet.
"HELP!" He screamed. "HELP! LEMME OU…!"
He stopped suddenly, the wind knocked out of him, due to the fist hitting his stomach. He barely had the strength to see his attacker, who then kicked him in the balls and then sent him flying with a punch to the nose.
The real Izuku, now in a green half face mask in the shape of a rabbit, finally stepped into the room. He still wore 'bar tender' attire, but now his gloved hands showcased his wrist blades…and his scared, nervous face was gone, replaced by a calm smile.
The other villains moving out to give him space and presence as Izuku made his way forward, but to the former Adlera students, it looked like that he was their master and bowing as well.
He said nothing. He didn't touch any of them. All he did was wave with a smile.
And then the villains all vanished in flashes of light before Mr. Compress snatched up the marbles they became and bounded away, thanks to Gentle 'rubbering' the ground so that they could escape into an overhead window.

Gran Torino, AKA Sorahiko, was impressed with the blonde moron's choice of protégé: She was as cheery as Nana had been, quick on her feet and had managed to land a droplet of acid on him even before she started using One for All. Admittedly, the droplet only touched his cape, but he counted it.
Plus, even though she was still a little naïve, she asked questions about Pro-Hood from when he and Nana had been around; hinting that she knew about All for One (why Toshinori hadn't informed her of that the old man understood but was annoyed at) and making him relive that fight with an MLA commander who'd kidnapped that kid they never found….Who looked like that Deternat CEO….
His musings were cut off by Mina channeling the new Quirk throughout her form, only to power down and pant in exhaustion.
"Whew! What a rush! Kind of much though…."
Sorahiko smiled at this: She wasn't AS fit as Toshi, but the Quirk was agreeing with her. Good thing too; the last thing anyone wanted was to deal with someone whose Quirk broke their bones.
"Take a break, Minnie." The Pro said, moving to prepare lunch and turning on the TV.
"IZUKU?!" Mina gasped at the face on TV. Sorahiko turned and dropped the plates he'd been holding.
He was a boy, yes. And the freckles must've been from whatever family they married into….
But now that he saw his face, along with his mother and father's?
Sorahiko swore he was looking at a genderbent Nana Shimura.
To be continued…
Next: Hosu in Hellflame! Without Stain there, how will things go? Is Izuku connected to Nana? And more!
