Strange, Bruce, Skaar, Namor, Thor, Mobius, Loki and the three Spider-Men walked among the foreign suburbs, looking for the residence of Wanda Maximoff.
Mobius remembered the number they'd asked from a local newspaper carrier.
The ten walked up to the tall, blue house.
"701 Esurc street. This is it," said Mobius.
Loki knocked on the door.
Moments passed, but they soon heard someone walking and the door opened, and there stood Wanda Maximoff.
"This is a surprise," she said to no one in particular.
"Please, Ms. Maximoff, let us in. We've got to talk."
"Yeah, sure." she let them all in, looking around before going back inside.
"Drinks?" Wanda asked, using her telekinesis to make a pitcher of tea float in.
"We don't drink tea," said Thor.
"We're not here for drinks, sorry. As I-"
"I'd actually like some-" began Peter 3, before he was cut off by Mobius.
"We're not here for tea! As I was saying, there's this terrifying figure named Kang, and there's lots of him actually, and we need your help to defeat him."
"Please," said Loki. "It would seem you're our only hope."
Wanda took in this information as they continued to inform her.
"I understand," said Wanda, nodding.
"So you'll help us?" asked Peter 1.
"I must. Essentially, because my Master demands it."
"Um, what?" asked Thor.
"I really wished you all came under better circumstances," she said, snapping her fingers.
The house faded away. Red enclosed everything, and they saw it was all an illusion.
They were in a burnt universe, reeling from the effects of an incursion. Wanda was wearing a red suit, not unlike the one 616 Wanda had before her death.
Strange sighed. "Should've known. Who's your master?"
"Oh, you will see. He's expected you all. Some of you will meet him."
With that, Wanda snapped her fingers, and they were all sent through wormholes.
Strange, Loki, Thor and Mobius through one, the three Peters through another, and Skaar, Bruce and Namor through another.
Bruce, Namor and Skaar shouted as they all fell through the wormhole, and landed in a distant arena.
Skaar groaned.
"Where the hell are we?" asked Bruce, rubbing his head.
Namor looked and saw they were behind a cell, facing an arena. Not unlike that on Sakaar.
"And now, your main contestants! The one, the only, the incredible Hulk!"
Bruce was suddenly thrown out onto the arena by an invisible force, muttering and getting to his feet.
"Hey! Time out, this is, this is a little unnecessary don't you-"
"And contesting with him, his one and only son, the mighty Skaar!"
Skaar was thrown into the arena the same way Bruce was, but the father caught his son before he could crash.
"And joining them, the ultimate mutant, the sub-mariner! The beastly, Namor!"
Namor was nearly thrown out, but he flew and landed safely next to them, spear in hand.
"Coming up against them, the main warrior of the arena, and my personal favorite, give it up for Hercules!"
A tall, muscular man came out from the other side of the arena. He pulled out a big golden mace, and began to shout, causing the onlooking crowd to cheer.
"Great," said Bruce. "Just great."
The three Peters were shot out onto a building. They appeared to be in New York at night.
"Oh, great! this is just perfect!" shouted Peter 1.
A black goo appeared to slither up the side of the building, calling out to Peter 1.
Peter 2 immediately knew what it was. He'd been one with the symbiote before, and it was an awful experience.
"Peter, wait," said Peter 2. "Don't do it. It will promise you things, but it's lying! It'll only corrupt you."
Before the younger Peter could reply, the symbiote launched itself, wrapping around Peter 1 as he writhed in pain. Soon, he got up, suited in the black goo.
"Peter, you gotta take it off!" exclaimed Peter 2, worrying so much for his younger variant.
However, there was no response from the young Peter. The symbiote practically grinned at Peter 2 and Peter 3, and pounced at them.
The older Peters didn't want to do this, but they had to. They were going to fight their young variant.
Mobius, Loki, Thor and Strange landed in a dull grassland. It looked plain and depressing.
"No. No! We can't be!" shouted Loki.
They were at the end of all time. Where he'd met his variants, and where the Citadel at the end of time was. What's worse, Alioth was still possibly alive.
"Ah, great," said Mobius in a sarcastic tone.
A deep chuckle was heard booming in the distance.
Suddenly, a white light appeared next to them. A small blast happened, sending them all flying backwards.
It was Kang. He'd returned from the Quantum Realm, and had been empowered by the Beyonders.
"At last!" he shouted. "I return! But fear not. I'm not here for you. I'm here for my variants."
"We can't trust you," said Strange.
"But you can."
"You've killed too many universes," said Strange, knowing through his third eye.
"Wiping out timelines is only what I must do to preserve all life and keep the multiverse alive!"
"By slaughtering more than you save?" asked Thor.
"Wait," said Loki, seeing Thor was preparing to attack Kang. "Maybe he is right. Maybe it's the only way to preserve the timelines."
Thor couldn't believe his ears. His own brother was siding with this maniac?
"You'd rather kill thousands than let this murderer die? You're defending this madman?"
"Brother, you don't-"
"You know, you were right," began Thor angrily. "You aren't my brother. My true brother died years ago. HE DIED A HERO!" Lightning surged through Thor, and he blasted his variant brother across the grasslands.
Kang opened a blue portal in front of the blast, making Thor hit himself with lightning.
The thunder god stumbled to his back.
Strange did motions with his hands, and two massive snake heads hissed and snapped at Kang.
The Conqueror merely blasted them with energy from his hands, killing them.
Mobius ran to Loki, helping him up. He hadn't known whose side he should pick.
Symbiote Peter kicked Peter 3, landing him backwards into a building. Peter 2 swung in, punching the symbiote. It merely roared and slapped him, sending him flying across the city.
Peter 3 shot a web, wrapping around Peter 2 and yanking him back.
Symbiote Peter grabbed Peter 3 and began to wail on him, destroying his mask and making him bleed. He would have killed him, had Peter 2 not struck him in the face with a metal pipe.
Symbiote Peter stumbled back, roaring in pain.
Peter 2 threw the metal pipe against nearby scaffolding, causing a loud ringing sound that made the symbiote cry out in pain.
Symbiote Peter attempted to punch Peter 2, only for him to catch the fist but struggle to hold it back.
Symbiote Peter grabbed Peter 2 by the throat, lifting him and beginning to choke him.
Peter 3 swung in from nowhere, hitting Symbiote Peter's arms and causing him to drop Peter 2 as he coughed.
The two Peters nodded at one another. They were going to fight the symbiote without hurting Peter.
