Six year old Izumi Midoriya sat on a bench in an empty park after school. Tears slowly slid down the little girl's eyes. She's wearing a light green sundress with several obvious cuts and scrapes and even a small burn was visible through rips in the cloth and bright red sneakers. Her dark green hair rolling down the back of her head to just past her shoulders in untameable fluffy curls, "Why does Kaachan have to be so mean! Why can't we be friends again like before his Quirk came in?" She said, asking no one but the air.

Izumi jumped in surprise when a kind voice replied, "Sadly I do not know," Looking up she saw a tall man with aqua green hair, round glasses wearing white and gold hooded robe, a red tie, blue pants and black dress shoes. He had a large brown, yellow and blue book with a large blue gem on the cover tied to his belt, and a large white and gold staff with a white crystal on top.

Izumi's thoughts race. The man was dressed like a Hero but she couldn't place him. Finally she asked, "Who are you?"

The man bowed, "I am the Invoking Hero: Aleister. A Wandering Hero."

Izumi tilted her head, "Wandering Hero? Is that like a Detective Hero like Sir Nighteye? Or are you an Underground Hero like Eraserhead? What's-your-Quirk?-Are-your-staff-and-book-part-of-your-Quirk-or-just-Support-Gear?-Do-you-have-your-international-license?" Izumi's questions quickly turned into a rapid fire mutter storm much to Aleister's amusement.

"One question at a time please," Aleister said with a small smile, "In order. A Wandering Hero doesn't have a set Agency and instead moves around as they please. I suppose my personal style of Heroism is a bit of a mix between Detective and Underground though I'm no slouch in a fight. I might tell you about my Quirk later since it's not a good idea for a Hero to explain how their Quirk works in the open in my opinion. My staff and book are Support Gear of my own design though I did need help making them, and yes I have my international license."

Izumi blushed in embarrassment, "Sorry… I can get a bit lost in my head sometimes and ask…"

"Upp, upp, upp, none of that," Aleister said waving a finger with a small smile, "Never apologize for an inquisitive mind! If used correctly such a mind could be your most powerful weapon in the field of Heroics!"

"But… I don't have a Quirk… Can I still be a Hero?" Izumi asked, her slightly red eyes looking at the Hero full of hope.

"I will say the same to you, that I've said to others," Aleister said as he kneeled down and put a hand on Izumi's shoulder, "The most important aspect of a Hero isn't their Quirk. It's their mind, hearts and spirits that make a True Hero. With that in mind, yes. You can be a Hero. You just need to train harder than anyone else."

Tears welled up in Izumi's eyes again, "Th… thank you," Izumi sniffed, "No one else has told me that."

Aleister frowned, "No one? Not a single person?"

Izumi shook her head as she almost curled in on herself, "Not Ka-san… not Kaachan… not Sensei… not even the doctor who found I was Quirkless after finding the extra toe joint…"

Aleister took a deep calming breath before giving her a calm smile. It's been a while since he took on a student and this girl needed someone in her corner. Part of him wondered why she didn't mention her father but decided to bring that up later, "For now let's just get you home and tend to your injuries alright? If your mother allows it, I might have a way to help you reach your dream."

When the two arrived at the Midoriya home, Aleister knocked on the door and as expected Mrs. Midoriya opened it. She was shocked to see her daughter holding the hand of someone she guessed was a Hero due to his outfit. The woman was rather tall and slim though it was obvious she'd put on a little weight recently, dark green hair tied into a ponytail. She's wearing a pink shirt, blue pants under a white apron and dark green slippers, "Good afternoon ma'am. My name is Aleister a Wandering Hero. I found your daughter injured in the park due to being bullied. May we come in to talk and care for her injuries?"

Mrs. Midoriya's eyes went wide as she nodded and gestured the two inside, "Izumi-Chan please guide Aleister-San to the living room while I get the first aid kit."

"Yes Ka-San," Izumi said as she led Alister through the house. Once Izumi's mom returned with the first aid kit, Aleister learned her name was Inko.

As the two adults tended to Izumi's injuries they learned that she got them defending another boy from her childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo and his group, "I'll call Mitsuki-Chan and talk to her about this," Inko said shaking her head, "If the boy really wants to be a Hero he needs to learn now that actions have consequences and Heroes don't bully and belittle people."

Aleister nodded, "A good idea Midoriya-San. However before you make the call I have something I would like to talk to you two about."

"What would that be Aleister-San?" Inko asked as she sat next to Izumi and pulled the girl into her side.

"I would like to become Young Midoriya-San's private tutor. I see a lot of potential in her and wish to help bring it out. Both for her academic skills as well as to help her towards her dream of being a Hero."

"But… she's… well Quirkless," Inko said, obviously uncomfortable bringing the subject up, and the experienced Hero could see the obvious flash of guilt appear in the mother's eyes.

Aleister gave a small grin, "Here's a small secret. I am too," The mother and daughter's jaws dropped, "However I do have an ability that I am able to teach to others. One that anyone can learn. You might have heard of two of my previous students who have been making waves recently. Dragovian and Black Sorcerer."

Izumi's eyes went wide and she yelled in surprise, "THE TWO HEROS WHO DESPITE APPEARING ONLY A FEW YEARS ARE AND WORK ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF JAPAN ARE SHARING THE SPOT AS THE THIRTEENTH TOP HERO?!" A notebook and pencil were suddenly in her hands, "I have so many questions!"

Aleister chuckled, "All in due time young one. HoweverI am glad to see more of that inquisitive mind of yours," He then turned to Izumi's mother, "Well Midoriya-San? Will you allow me to help your daughter achieve her dream?"

"I… how would we be able to afford this?" Inko asked.

"I have more than enough money saved up, so the fee would be surprisingly affordable," Aleister smiled, "I merely take students from time to time, and with the amount of potential I sense in young Izumi-San I have this burning desire to see how far she can go when that potential is brought out. I swear on everything I hold dear that I have zero arterial motives."

Inko looked at her daughter's shining eyes as she thought about the offer. She knew that despite doing everything to make her daughter happy Inko fell short. The first and only time Izumi asked if she could be a Hero without a Quirk Inko could do nothing but cry and apologize… something that disgusted the mother and haunted her nightmares. She had apologized that Izumi was born different… was born without a Quirk. Something that was beyond her control. In this day and age she basically apologized for Izumi being born a cripple! Now she had a chance to make it right so there was only one thing she could do. "I… have a lot to make up for," Inko said slowly, getting a shocked look form Izumi and a quizzical look from Aleister. Standing up Inko bowed deeply to the Hero, "Please do everything in your power to make my daughter the Hero she always dreamed of becoming!"

Izumi looked at her mom as tears of joy leaked out of her eyes while Aleister bowed his head, "I promise I will do my best."

Time flew past as Aleister taught Izumi who was pulled out of public school. A few days after Aleister became Izumi's tutor Inko visited her childhood friend Mitsuki Bakugo, the mother of Katsuki Bakugo. When Mitsuki was told what happened she was furious. She confiscated all of Katsuki's hero merch, grounded him for three months and put him in anger management therapy. Something she did right alongside him since Inko had to physically hold the blond woman back from beating the shit out of her son. Sadly that did nothing to halt Mitsuki's language that would make some sailors blush as she berated her son.

Katsuki and Izumi never reconciled, Katsuki having burned that bridge when he destroyed the rare All Might card Izumi had received the same day Katsuki got his copy of the same card. Mitsuki tried to give Izumi, her sons All Might Card but Izumi couldn't look at it due to all the painful memories now associated with it.

For the first couple years Aleister focused entirely on her academic and analytical skills. Once she was ten he began teaching her his unique ability. Summoning monster spirits. When asked how he learned this skill he smiled and explained, "When I was young, I joined my father on an archeological dig in Egypt. He was working on rediscovering a tomb that was lost before the Dawn of Quirks. During this trip there was a sandstorm and I was separated from the group. Luckily I found shelter near an oasis and settled down using the survival skills my father taught me. A couple days passed before three locals found me. They were Gravekeepers, a small tribe tasked with protecting ancient tombs from graverobbers."

"Now they don't really like archeologists either but they understand that instead of taking the treasure to sell to the highest bidder, we simply wanted to learn about the past," Aleister looked up a far away look in his eyes as memories washed though his mind, "I was fascinated with their unique culture and was allowed to learn under the Chieftess' daughter. This lasted a couple days while the Gravekeepers contacted my father. During that time they learned I was Quirkless but still desired to help people. At that point I'd resigned myself to being an archeologist and helping people with the knowledge I found. When father arrived he and the Chieftess hit it off and came to an agreement. I would spend one year with the Gravekeepers learning their Summoning Magic, and the Chieftess' grandson would spend time with my father to learn of the outside world."

"Once the year was up I was able to summon monster spirits, and go to a Hero School under the pretense that my Quirk just needed the right situation to activate such as a life or death scenario and getting lost in a sandstorm definitely counts as one. For you, all we need to say is your Quirk is similar to mine as such I'm able to teach you without putting your life at risk. Of course the version of Summoning I'm teaching you is the kind I mainly use, but it should prove you better in the long run. The more powerful kind of summoning I have access too which I call Invocation is far too dangerous for you to learn. I want you to live a good long life and save as many people as you can, not see the flame of your life cut short from your own power."

"Thank's Sensei!" Izumi with a wide smile. Filled with newfound determination, Izumi dove into her studies. She was going to summon something… and once she did, she was going to train even harder to become a hero!

Eleven year old Izumi was working on her latest notebook full of Quirk analysis homework as she patiently waited for Aleister-Sensei. Sensei always gave her a pair of Quirks to analyze, one belonging to a Hero and one belonging to a Villain. Her current Hero to analyze was a past Pro-Hero named Lariat who's Quirk Black Whip let him create tendrils of some kind of dark energy he used to get around cities quickly and tie up Villains. For a Villain, she got a man named Batto Yobayakawa who has a Bat Quirk. Yobayakawa gained notoriety during the Villain Factory incident a few months back making him the most recent villain she'd analyzed.

She was so focused she didn't hear her mother opening the front door and letting someone in, or the sounds of footsteps on the stairs. Opening the door Aleister smiled and coughed into his hand. Izumi spun around her notebook falling off her desk, "Sensei! I didn't hear you come in!"

Aleister's grin grew slightly as he looked at Izumi's computer which still had a video of Lariat on the screen, "I thought not considering how deep into your analysis you were. I have a couple things to say before we begin today's lessons. First, with how far you've come. I fully expect you'll be able to perform your first summons shortly after you turn twelve next year."

Izumi got out of her chair and jumped for joy. She'd changed a bit in the years since she met Aleister. Her fluffy green hair had finally been tamed with the help of one of Aleister's summons. A woman called Witchcrafter Haine. Haine was a spellcaster who specialized in enchanting clothes, so she made Izumi a large set of hair ties that would be able to tame her fluffy hair so the girl could have whatever kind of hairstyle she wanted. Currently Izumi's hair was tied into two braided ponytails that were bouncing on her shoulders. Wearing a bright yellow short sleeve shirt and sky blue skirt.

Aleister chuckled slightly, "The second thing…" Izumi froze at that and blushed in embarrassment, "Is I'd like to introduce you to someone," Motioning to the door a girl maybe a month or two older then Izumi with straw blond hair styled into two buns, golden yellow eyes, wearing a tan shirt, black skirt and black socks that went up to just below her knees. The girl had the white stick of a lollipop poking out of her mouth, "This is your fellow student and my new adopted daughter. Please introduce yourself and explain your Quirk."

The girl gave a wide smile showing her sharp canines as she gave a two finger salute, "Nice to meet you! Name's Himiko. Feel free to call me Himi-Chan if you want. My Quirk is Transform. I can produce a gray slime that lets me turn into anyone who's blood I drink. Still working on taking someone's form without destroying my clothes though. Don't ask for any of my lollipops, since they're made of a mix of real blood and blood orange," Himiko shrugged, "Part of my Quirk makes me need to ingest blood to remain healthy."

Izumi had her notebook in hand opened to an empty page ready to ask Himiko questions making Aleister and Himiko chuckle. The girl had obviously been told about Izumi's love and talent of analyzing Quirks.

Twelve years old Izumi sat cross legged in the middle of the basement, empty of everything but her and Aleister. Though Himiko was waiting on the other side of the door, "Don't try to force it. You need to call out with your spirit and wait for someone to respond. Since you're still young and inexperienced with magic, you shouldn't gain the attention of anything dangerous, but my friends will be here in a moment's notice just in case. Take all the time you need, Izumi-Chan."

Izumi didn't respond. She was trying to calm her mind and spirit, though it was difficult due to her excitement and how no matter what she did, her mind never seemed to quiet down. Even when she was trying to fall asleep. Questions, thoughts about the day and different scenarios were the lullaby that drifted her off to sleep. Soon she felt… a slight tug at the edge of her mind. It wasn't a very strong one but a warm glow slowly grew in her chest, "That's it Izumi-Chan. Now bring the feeling you're getting from the tug closer. Slowly, and carefully," Aleister instructed.

Izumi followed Aleister-Sensei's instructions and slowly a light pink glow began to grow before Izumi. When Izumi opened her eyes to look, the ball popped like a bubble revealing a small girl about two feet tall wearing a tall pink hat with gold bands, a light green jumpsuit under what looked like a pink diaper with large yellow buttons. The girl has fairy-like wings, bright orange hair with two long strands going down past her chin, a small tuff poking out under the hat, and large blue eyes. A passafire was in the girl's mouth and a small gold staff with a flawless red orb on one side and red gem carved to look like the curls in her hair on the other.

"Hi there!" The small girl said in a peppy voice which came out clearly despite the passafire, "I'm Berry Magician Girl. Are you our new Summoner?"

"Yeah. I'm Izumi Midoriya," Izumi introduced as she fought her instincts to grab and hug the adorable fairy girl.

"Very good Izumi-Chan," Aleister said with a smile, "Berry-San here is part of a small team of spellcasters called the 'Magician Girls'. They have a wide variety of spells so will be a great help in your desire of being a Hero. The Magician Girls are also loosely connected to my student the Black Sorcerer due to his connection to the mentor of the Magician Girl's Leader. A powerful spellcaster known as the Dark Magician."

"Yup, yup, yup!" Berry chimed, her eyes crinkling as she smiled, "Dark Magician-Sensei trains all of us from time to time. Even Kiwi-Oneechan. OH! I should tell you all about the others!"

"Before you do…" Aleister chuckled, "Perhaps we should let Himiko-Chan attempt her first summons?"

Izumi pouted though internally she couldn't wait to see what her best friend summoned, "She's only been your student for two years and she can attempt a summon. I've been your student for six years and couldn't do it until now."

Berry flew around Izumi's head giggling as Aleister smiled softly, "You had to grow physically and spiritually before it was safe to summon, on top of the two of you learning how to Summon. You know this as I explained all this two weeks ago."

Izumi giggled, "I know. Honestly I can't wait to see what Himi-Chan summons!"

On cue Himiko entered the room, and squealed in joy upon seeing Berry Magician Girl, "Zumi-Chan she's so cute!" Himiko leapt forward and pulled Berry into a hug, nuzzling their cheeks together. Himiko being careful to keep the stick of her lollipop from poking Berry and from damaging the little fairy girls wings, "I'm so jelly! You can call this cutie whenever you want!"

Izumi giggled, "Well maybe your summon will be just as cute as Berry-Chan!"

Letting go of Berry, Himiko giggled, "Here's hoping!" Izumi sat in the corner with Berry on her lap. She was allowed to watch since she had Berry to protect her. Himiko settled down to perform her summons. Five minutes later a ball of pure red energy formed then burst revealing a black bat with a long whip-like tail instead of legs, two small obsidian horns and a single large red eye. Opening her eyes, Himiko tilted her head as she looked at the bat, "A… bat? I mean it's cute but…"

"This is the Vampire Familiar. Honestly I am not surprised that you have a connection to the Vampire Monsters Himiko-Chan," Aleister explained with a smile, "In fact you are the first person I've taught who has a connection to them. The Vampire Monsters tend to be rather reclusive.

"Are any of them cute?" Himiko asked as the Familiar wrapped its tail around her arm, its sole eye gleaming as it took everything in.

"I wouldn't know," Aleister replied, "I've never met them. I've simply heard of them from the Witchcrafters."

"Now we both can be Heroes, Himi-Chan!" Izumi cheered, as she glomped Himiko, Berry floating nearby as she eyed the Familiar curiously.

In another world. In the tallest tower of a foreboding castle bathed in the light of a blood moon, overlooking a quaint village, three figures sat around a table. Two male one female, their eyes locked on a crystal ball on a red velvet pillow that was sharing everything their Familiar saw and heard. Their features hidden in shadows save for their gleaming fangs.

The first figure giggled before speaking in a silky feminine voice, "So we finally have a proper Summoner. And I must admit she is such a darling too."

"Indeed," The second figure said in a deep smooth masculine voice, "I can't wait to see how this goes."

The final man chuckled, his voice dark, and foreboding, "She has the powers of darkness, and yet wishes to be a 'Hero'. Only time can tell if she'll succeed but I must admit, that despite myself I'm curious if she'll be able to."

The woman laughed, "Of course you are. You're normally so dull and depressing. You could use a little levity in your unlife."

The third man growled, his red eyes flaring with power, the second man raised a hand. "Now is not the time to fight amongst ourselves. Eventually our new Summoner will meet us, and when that happens we must give a good impression," The second man chuckled as he rested his chin on his fist as he leaned in his chair. "Due to our Summoner's friends, we might be able to finally break this damn stalemate we're in."

The third man growled as he gripped the arms of his chair, "I am sick of this invasion! I hope this girl is as promising as you believe she is! If not… I might do something drastic."

The other two occupants of the room gave the growling person slightly amused looks. "Let us hope this 'drastic' plan of yours is something you'll… 'live' to regret," The woman said before vanishing in a puff of smoke, her two comrades following her lead. Leaving no trace of them behind.

Author's Notes:

As of now I don't have a Civilian name for Aleister, so Himiko won't have a last name for a while.

Sorry if this felt a little rushed. Not gonna lie I'm excited for when these two get to U.A. and since there won't be a Slime Villain incident mentioned in this, I figured showing a bit of Izumi's childhood and learning under Aleister would be a decent substitute. Next chapter… U.A.!

Also due to saving my vote for last, I will be working on this AND my MHA/LoZ story. Reason for this is, I started writing both stories when the two were in a draw, and I was having fun writing them… so I'll continue writing them.
