Customized summer uniforms debut, along with rooftop access. The BBs head there at lunch to escape boredom. They spot an abandoned soil bed, so Seiya considers growing veggies for his club. Shiryu, who has farming experience, notes the means to develop a successful garden. He meets with the Student Council president and pitches a proposal letter.

[June 1, Friday - week 1]

"Good morning, guys!" Seiya greets his friends upon coming downstairs but notices their stare towards him. "What's wrong?"

"Morning, Seiya. It's just that... well..." Shun says.

"You're still wearing the school uniform," Hyoga says.

"Yeah, what's wrong with it?" Seiya asks.

"You didn't know?" Ikki asks.

"About what?"

"About summer uniforms," Shiryu says.

"Summer uniforms?" Seiya tilts his head, confused.

"It's in the school calendar. Summer wear starts today."

"For real?" Seiya ponders. "Ah! That explains the stares. You guys are wearing lighter versions of our uniform."

Hyoga sweat drops. "Now he gets it..."

"Oh, crap! Let me go change!"

Seiya rushes upstairs and comes back down less than a minute later.

"That was fast," Shun says.

"It was super easy!" Seiya says with a grin.

"Seriously, an open shirt?" Shiryu sweat drops.

"I don't want to wear that tight. Besides, Hyoga has an open shirt too."

"I just stylize to make it my own," Hyoga says smugly.

"Okay, but your red shirt is untucked," Shun notes.

"Yeah, but my pants ain't dropping. By the way, you're wearing suspenders. Really? Suspenders for school?"

"Why not?" Shun smiles. "These are NOT the same I always wear."

Additionally, Shun has a chain link on the sides of his pants, with two charms representing the ends of his Andromeda chain.

In addition to an open white-collar and untucked red shirt, Seiya also wears red sneakers. Likewise, Hyoga wears the same with a blue tucked undershirt and black shoes. Shun wears a pink undershirt with loafers, and finally, Ikki wears a partially open white-collar shirt with a red undershirt and brown shoes. Only that of Shiryu's is straightforward.

"Wait a sec? Is that tape you two wear on your wrists? Don't tell me they're the same you've always worn," Shiryu says.

"No way they're not the same. It's fresh and brand new," Seiya says.

"I feel like I should have it. It's a custom," Hyoga adds.

"If Chihiro-san spots you wearing them, you're on your own."

"No worries. Chihiro-san should be able to get it. We'll just explain."

"Guys, we should be going. We're going to be late," Shun says.

The boys then consume their lunch once the break starts. Some stretch out and glance at the window, admiring the scenery.

"It's so nice. I wish we could go out," Seiya says.

"How about going to the rooftop?" Hyoga asks.

"Rooftop?" Shun asks.

"Ah, that's right! This school has a roof. I wonder what it looks like."

"Why would you be interested in the rooftop, Seiya?" Shiryu asks.

"Because there are scenes in the manga where characters meet on the rooftop. Tons of things happen, even battles break out."

"Yes, it has happened," Hyoga confirms.

"You're not asking to go up there and attract enemies, are you?"

"Shiryu! Don't be such a killjoy! Look outside."

Hyoga hastily stands. "Now you got me interested!"

Shun hastily stands, too. "Wait! We don't have permission!"

"We're Saints! We don't ask for permission," says a fistful Seiya, standing.

"Of course, we do," Shiryu says with a low tone and sweat drops.

"Let's hit the rooftop before break ends!"

Seiya rushes out of the classroom. Hyoga follows suit.

"Seiya, wait for me!"

"Oh my gosh! You two!" Shun shrieks with hands on his cheeks. He dashes after them. "Seiya! Hyoga! Wait a sec!"

Shiryu sighs and strolls outside the classroom, following them too.

"There it is—the door to the rooftop," Seiya says once he arrives. "Something crazy better not happen."

His friends catch up to him but remain downstairs.

"There you are, Seiya," Hyoga says.

"We should head back," Shun says.

"Seiya, please drop it," Shiryu says.

Seiya tinkers with the locks. "Seems locked. How do you open?" After figuring it out, he manages to unlock the door. "Okay got it!"

"You manage to do it," Hyoga says.

"See? It was easy," Seiya says. He gestures to his friends so they can join him upstairs, enter through the door, and witness the scenery outside.

"Wow! This is amazing!" Shun murmurs.

"So this is the school rooftop. But why would they lock it?" Seiya asks. "I mean, what if there's an emergency and students need to be here?"

"I doubt they will come here..." Shiryu says.

"Maybe it's a safety issue to prevent students from falling off," Shun says.

"Okay, but why would they fall off?" Seiya asks with arms crossed. He notices a fence surrounding the roof. "Don't tell me the roof's locked..."

"I see, so they double down, locking the roof AND putting a fence," Hyoga says. "It makes total sense."

"But the student who took his life happened off campus," Shun says.

"Or maybe it has always been that way and not because of the student."

The four boys sigh as they stand in front of the fence. They witness the scenery below that oversees the courtyard, the running tracks, and the outdoor pool, which is only open during summer sessions.

"Alright, that's it for the roof. Let's get going," Shun says.

As they turn to leave, one of them spots an abandoned soil bed.

"What's that over here?" Hyoga asks.

They stroll to get a closer look.

"Looks like a spot to grow crops," Seiya says.

"Really? Why would there be a garden spot here?" Shun asks.

"The soil is dry. Looks like it hasn't been used in a long time," Shiryu says.

Seiya gets an idea spark.

"Hey, guys! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"You mean to tend a garden?" Shun asks.

"Yes! To grow some crops!"

"Okay, but who do we ask?" Hyoga asks.

"Leave it to me. I'll ask the Student Council if they know something," Shiryu says. "If they do, then maybe I can ask to revive it."

"Okay if that happens, does anyone have experience growing crops?"

"I have plenty of experience. I grew crops back at the Ancient Peaks."

"Really, Shiryu? Please teach us!" Seiya pleads.

"Of course!" Shiryu nods.

Hours pass, and school ends for the day. Shiryu heads to the Student Council and approaches Himeko once the meeting ends. He tells her about the abandoned garden he and his friends discovered.

"Revive the garden?" Himeko asks.

"Yes, Senpai. Since my friends and I cannot attend PE, tending the garden would keep us occupied. Plus, the crops would provide to anyone who needs them, including the Cooking Club."

"That makes sense, but why would you and your friends go to the rooftop without permission?" Himeko asks with a titled head.

"Yeah, about that..." Shiryu sweat drops.

"Well, you are different given your celebrity status. Alright, prepare a pitch. We'll meet next week to hear your speech on why the garden should be revived. I will assemble a proposal based on what you say."

Shiryu bows. "Thank you, Senpai."
