So here we are Chapter 3, and I don't want to spoil anything but let's just say that things are about to get…spooky. Also don't forget to leave a review.

Chapter 3

Return to the Past

I will admit I have experienced some weird stuff in my life, giant people made of sand sure, people with a love for the dramatic that's fine…but this…this is something. So here I was cooking lunch for myself, some leftover pizza mind you, all while a sentient, broken animatronic wolf that I knew when I was ten was sitting on my couch. Sure no more than a few minutes ago Roxy was busy trying to rip me to shreds but now she was busy "staring" into space and so far we haven't talked much making the air kind of…awkward.

'…this is really awkward' I thought as my food was complete

Taking it out of the microwave I then walked over and sat down next to Roxy, both being silent which made the air around the two of us very tense. The silence between the two was quite defendant that is until Roxy turned in my direction.

"So…how long has it been?" Roxy asked causing me to sigh, knowing this would have been the first thing she would ask me

"…ten years" I replied

At first Roxy was silent at first until then lightly chuckled a little but not a funny kind you would hear, more like…one of sadness.

"You probably changed a lot in that time…and I can't see it" she said, looking downward as if the floor was more interesting

Of course her statement did bring a question to mind, mostly pertaining to our last scuffle when she said, "Give me back my eyes."

"Roxy…what happened to your eyes?" I asked

This of course caused Roxy to snarl slightly as she gripped the arm rest with a strong grip, claws digging their way into the fabric of the couch.

"I don't remember much of that time…but I do remember that moment…always" she said causing her grip to tighten, "Some kid suck his way into the pizzaplex…I thought I could catch him on my raceway since the kid was driving on it…but then…that kid then…tossed his kart right into my face" She continued her grip getting tighter and her claws digging in deeper.

"And when I was down…and barely functioning…he ripped out my eyes…straight…from…my…SKULL!"

Then with a loud rip she then tore a huge hole in the couch arm causing me to slightly jump from my seat and Roxy to realize at last what she was doing. She then let go of the couch and start to slightly sniffle again, once again on the brink of crying again.

"Sorry…I didn't mean too" She said hugging herself

But seeing this I then sat down next to her and gave her a quick side hug, by the way really painful when the one receiving the hug is mostly just a metal endoskeleton, thankfully however the hug I gave calmed her down.

"It's okay Roxy, trust me, I know what it means to lose something important to you" I said looking downcast

"I just…what to see my old friend again" Roxy said

Suddenly an idea then came to my mind, not a permanent solution but just might help her with her seeing problem.

"Wait right here okay" I said as I dashed to my room

I then pulled open one drawer after drawer in my desk, looking for one certain part that will help me the most.

"Come on, where are you?" I said to myself as I looked

Then on my last drawer I then found it, nestled on a smile pile of old Spider-Man suit parts…a pair of Spider lenses from my old prototype.

"They still have visual software I built into mine and my dad's suits so maybe…" I said as ran the theory in my head multiply times

Then with a simply nod I then walked back to the living room with the lenses in hand.

"Hey Roxy" I said getting the animatronics' attention, "How would you like to see again?" I asked

Her reaction was instantaneous, she jumped right off the couch and grabbed my shoulders and "looked" at my eyes dead on.

"Are you serious!?" she asked in a truly hopeful tone that couldn't help but make me smile

"I wouldn't tell I couldn't" I replied

So with excited squeal Roxy started jumping up and down with excitement but I had to settle her down so that I can get her to sit still. With her now seated on the couch I then got started adjusting the lenses so that they can work with her software and after that was done I had to connect the wiring together. Thankfully her wiring was still intact, merely it was only a matter of soldering the wires together and making sure there was power flowing into them and after quick slap of duct tape to keep them in place…they were done, Roxy's substitute eyes.

"So…how do things look?" I asked the animatronic

The lenses then blinked a few times, probably adjusting to the new vison but finally she then looked up at me and couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

"My, you've grown a lot" Roxy said which brought a smile to my face

"Well it has been ten years Roxy" I replied

Roxy then looked down at her hands only to gasp at how they looked, being rusty, dirty and broken. Just seeing this caused her to let out a small sob as she wrapped herself in a tight hug, which caused me to frown.

"I must look awful…a monster" she said in low voice

Seeing her like this, I then sat down next to the wolf and laid a hand her shoulder.

"Don't worry Roxy, I'll fix you right up, promise" I replied which made the animatronic sigh in relief

"Thank you" she replied

Once she calmed down I then fished out my laptop from my room and booted it up, once that was done I then searched all over the web for any blueprints or schematics or…anything to help me on fixing Roxy but found nothing and to tell the truth it was bit annoying.

"Great, how am I supposed to fix you if I don't have blueprint to work with?" I said crossing my arms in frustration

"I have one" Roxy said which surprised me

"You do?"

"Yeah, we have back-up blueprints stored in our memory banks so that we can fix ourselves, a way of saving money off of mechanics"

Roxy then reached behind her head and plucked out a small blue chip, with the Fazbear company logo on it. So I then snatched the little chip and plugged right into my computer and in no time at all the blueprints for Roxy was downloaded into my hard-drive. I then looked over everything from her design, parts and the material and so far everything seemed easy to get.

"Let's see here…synthetic fur, easy…high grade fiber coating, weird but okay…high voltage wiring, do-able and her eyes…oh" I said as I gazed at the specs for Roxy's eyes.

"What's wrong?" Roxy asked confused

"Your eyes… motion tracking, x-ray vision and Night Vision?! Roxy these military grade specs!" I exclaimed, which surprised the wolf

"I…had no idea" She replied, taken aback by this revelation

She wasn't the only one; I was stumped on how to fix her now. Sure I can get the rest of the parts easy through a special delivery order but her eyes…that was tricky if not impossible.

'It's not like I can walk up to a military base and just ask for a bunch of illegal equipment' I thought as I pondered my options…which was far and in between.

"The best I can do is create a pair of pseudo-eyes for you, they won't be as good as your old ones though" I said which made Roxy groan with disappointment

Seeing her like this made a small spike of guilt hit me straight in the heart, after all I didn't want her to feel like this, not after what she went through. But in the end what kind I do, there was no way I could parts like that for her eyes.

"I'm sorry Roxy but unless you know another way…" I asked, which caused the animatronic to perk up at the sound of this

"Wait, there is another way!" Roxy exclaimed, getting my full attention

"Great, what did you have in mind?" I asked

"I know for a fact that the company has some spare parts for us all in case we break down and I bet there at the Pizzaplex" Roxy explained

Of course hearing this only caused me to grimace at this; though she may be right it kind seemed like a bad idea.

"I don't know Roxy" I replied in a nervous manner which confused her, "You may be right but…the place was caught a blaze and is now condemned so how do you know that your spare eyes survived?" I asked

"They have to! …please I need them" She said, depressed and full of longing

Seeing her like this made another sharp pain of guilt to plunge it's self into my heart, seeing her so distraught, so with a sigh and against my better judgement I caved in.

"Alright I guess I can take a look around the place" I said which made Roxy gasp in delight

"You will?! Thank you!" She exclaimed

She then tried to go in for a hug but I quickly moved away from her, after all I was not looking to get priced by her metal endoskeleton.

"Maybe save the hugs "after" you get your body back" I said

So with my plan now established I first started by ordering all my legal parts I needed for Roxy's repair and thankfully it will be here by tomorrow. So now that the easy part was done I now needed to do the hard part, that being going back to the grave of my mother, the Mega Pizzaplex. I then head for the door but not before turning to Roxy as she satw on the couch.

"Alright I'm heading out, while I'm away please just stay indoors, I don't what my neighbors freaking out over a sentient animatronic" I said as Roxy nodded

"Sure Ben" Roxy replied

So with a simply goodbye, I then went out the door and locked it behind me. Now a normal person would go to the elevator and go down to the lobby…but me I prefer the express route. So making sure the coast was clear I then made my way to the stairwell and made my way up to the roof and once there I then took off my normal clothes to reveal my Superior Spider suit. In no time I was changed into the Superior Spider-Man and had webbed my clothes to the side of the building before leaping into the afternoon sky.

Now normally swinging would be relaxing for me, a way to let my troubles go…not today it was. Of course I knew why, I was going back to where my mom died, a place I didn't think I would go back to in all my life. Heck just thinking about the place brought up so many bad memories, mom's lifeless eyes, dad crying as he clutched his beloved wife…and Cletus. That mad man just laughed, acting like he did some great achievement … and enjoyed it! Sure he was in the Raft and can't hurt anyone…but he deserved worse…he.

"Woah there Ben, no need to go there just focus on the task on hand" I said to myself, snapping myself from my dark thoughts, "Speaking of which I better call Dad, see if he had the old layout of the Pizzaplex, could come in handy" I said

So in no time at all I then dialed up my dad which he answered immediately.

"Hey Ben, how are doing?" my dad asked from the other line

"Pretty good…um can I ask a favor dad?" I asked, unsure if I should ask

"Sure, what do you need?"

"I uh…need the layout of Mega Pizzaplex"

Silence. That's all that I got on the other end of the phone and it was starting to creep me out.

"Uh dad, you still there?" I asked, now dreading what he was thinking on the other end

"…I thought you would never go back" dad finally said, in a very hollow voice

"I know dad, but I need to do this for a friend" I replied

"Ben…I don't know about this" Dad said worry evident in his voice

"Please dad…she needs this" I said

At first Dad didn't reply, just stayed silent for several minutes, I almost thought he wouldn't agree but that changed when I heard a sigh escape his mouth.

"Alright, I'll send over the plans…just stay safe okay" he said

"Thanks dad and I will, love you" I replied, ending the call

Just as soon as I did Dad sent over the layout plans of the Mega Pizzaplex and just in time too because lone and behold…there it was. I then landed on the side of an opposite building as I stared at the place that made me the person I was today. Looking at it I couldn't help but cringe at the state of it, the place really let its self-go all these years becoming nothing more but a broken and burnt building that looked to be on the verge of collapse. It's once bright and vibrant walls now tuned yellow and peeling, lacking any other color and many of its windows were boarded up or broken.

"Man, you'd think they would keep this place in better shape" I said as I looked at the old restaurant/amusement park

I really didn't want to do this, I really didn't…but Roxy needs those eyes and believe you me I will get them. First thing first was to check out the layout of building, after all being gone for so long I need a refresher of how the place looked and worked.

"Okay, according to these blueprints, the parts and service room is in a lower level of the Pizzaplex" I said looking at the blueprint on my HUD, "Most of elevators are probably out of order and stairs are probably not the most stable right now…but looks like there's a special platform that goes down to Parts and Service from the stage area"

With my route now planned I then swung over to the crippled Pizzaplex and landed on the roof of the place, just right over a broken part of ceiling that lead to the lobby.

"Better scout the place out first, make sure my route is safe at least" I said, thinking aloud

So I then typed some commands on my wrist device and in just few moments one of my Spider-Bots came to me. A small red circular robot with the same red and webbed design as my suit, with four sets of eyes and of course eight silver colored legs.

"Alright little guy, time to make papa proud" I said as I picked up the little robot

Syncing up my HUD to the bot I then let the little guy down and brought up a Holo-controller for my robot. I then controlled the small bot to the hole where it then activated a small booster to let its self-down. Once inside I then linked up my HUD with the Spider-Bots visual circuits, meaning I could see what it could see and what saw was a sad sight. The once grand lobby that filled people with such joy once they entered was now old and moldy, now replacing joy with mundane and displeasure, even the once grand gold Freddy statue was now broken apart and left to rust with in the passage of time.

"Ah man, I liked that statue" I said with a frown

But now was not the time to reminisce about old memories I had a mission and I was going to complete it. I then directed the Spider-Bot to head forward and past the old statue and as it moved forward I couldn't help but look around with it, seeing how bad the place had become. Once bright neon lights that lined the walls were now just broken and dull, happy little plushies that the gift shop owned now torn and burned even the once happy cardboard cutouts of the buildings were turned to ash in the raging fire that ensued years ago.

"Gezz, I knew the place was kind left to rot but…it is kind of sad how bad it has become" I said, sadden by the sight

I was then pulled from these thoughts when my eyes caught sight of the two main elevators that lead down to the main atrium.

"The elevators would be quick…but I highly doubt the place as power still after all these years" I said

But just to test it out I then had my Spider-Bot shoot a small web to activate the elevators down button and to my surprise the familiar ding went off.

"Wow, this place has power, that's lucky" I said, smiling at my good fortune

But unfortunately the doors only opened by a crack, which made me sigh in defeat.

"…well barely any power, but just large enough to let my Spider-Bot…"

*SCREECH*

Suddenly the elevator cabin then came plummeting downward, causing a resounding CRASH to be heard throughout the dank and dark halls.

"…or maybe not, luckily a good old fashion ventilation shaft is perfect for a spider like me" I said as I moved away from the elevators

I then spotted a vent entrance on far wall, just right next to the elevator, so I then had the Spider-Bot crawl up the wall into the vent, making its way deeper into the ruin Pizzaplex.

"According to the blueprints, this vent should lead to the…AHHHH!"

I practically jumped out of my skin when I turned the corner and found myself looking at a horrific face! But calming myself down a bit I then noticed the face was one of the …lesser now animatronic of the Pizzaplex. The Music Man, a small pink and white clown robot with tambourines attached to its hands. Honestly I always found those little things creepy when I was little, with their big black eyes and creepy wide smiles they just freaked me out.

"Stupid clown" I said as I moved the Spider-Bot past the Music man and continued further into the Pizzaplex.

Suddenly the Spider-Bot then crawled out of the vent and into…what was the Atrium. I couldn't believe what I was seeing; the once bright and wonderful Atrium that housed so many attractions and shows was nothing more but a shell of its former self. It's once colorful walls turned dark and gray, its many attraction openings are now closed and broken even the giant holographic figures of the animatronics were gone making the room feel so empty.

"Not mention the place looks like a war zone" I commented, looking over the main area

And that statement rung very true, for the in main area there were broken support girders and giant metal tubes that were strewed across the room, making it look like a bomb just went off in the area.

"Never the less, onward and upwards" I said and moved the bot forward

The little Spider-Bot crawled and hovered its way through the obscene obstacle course, making sure not cause a massive avalanche of scrap and trash to happen. Fortunately for me I could see the show stage just up ahead, unfortunately it was buried underneath some steel girders.

"Might take some time but I'm pretty sure I can move those easily" I said surveying the sight, "Alright little guy you did good work, now come back home" I said

But before I could move the Spider-Bot back something then dashed across its field of view, spooking me slightly.

"Woah, what was that?"

I then moved the Bot in a circle, seeing if I can find what crossed my vision but there was nothing. I couldn't help but let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding, probably due to some anxiety.

"Keep it together Spidey…maybe it was just a rat"

*RAGHHHHH*

Suddenly the Spider-Bot's feed went out, leaving me with nothing but a fizzled picture. I couldn't help but be shocked at this, even causing me to jump.

"What…was that?"

I then rewind the footage a bit so I can see what had attacked my Spider-Bot and what I found…was…

"Monty?"

Sure enough on the video, frozen in pause was the Pizzaplex's rock and roll alligator, Monty. Unfortunately he looked worse for wear, sure I couldn't tell much from the video due to it being fuzzy but I could see that Monty was practically nothing more than an endoskeleton at this point, well at least his top half was. Seeing enough I then shut off the screen and stared down into the hole of the Pizzaplex.

"So Roxy wasn't the only animatronic that remained online, though it doesn't seem that Monty is … stable right now" I said to myself

I couldn't help but feel goosebumps crawl down my skin, just thinking about those sharp metal teeth that Monty had as he chomped down on my Spider-Bot. Now a normal person would probably high tail it out of there after something like that…but not me, after all Roxy needs her eyes and I promised I would get them for her.

"Well nothing ventured, nothing gained" I said, trying to hype myself up

So with one slow deep breath, I then attached a web line to the side of the hole and slowly descend down…into the waiting darkness below.
