Teaser
Alchemist tore through the night on a sleek black motorbike, her white hair blowing in the wind that would have been painful to a human if they were going at the speed she was traveling at. She was focused on one thing and one thing only.
Reaching the target.
She had been given direct orders from Agent to retrieve whatever she discovered in a recent meteor shower that had fallen near headquarters mere moments ago.
Screeching to a stop in an open field mere miles away from the temporary headquarters, Alchemist jumped off the bike and ran towards the multitude of craters that were still smoking.
Crushed stones littered the craters and after a short analysis, the stones were simple granite, and completely ordinary. That was until she came to a fifteen foot slab of granite that fell apart at her touch, revealing it's contents.
Unharmed and sticking deep into the earth was a staff. It was as tall as her despite a third or more of it being deposited into the ground.
It's base was a intertwined three wooden shafts that curved and snaked around each other up to a football sized glowing green gem that pulsed with wisps of power. Atop the gem were large green crystalline extended wings that extended upwards to the sky.
An immense power radiated from the staff that just being in the vicinity of it was beginning to effect Alchemist's core, drawing her towards it regardless of her programming and directives.
Reaching out to it, she grabbed hold of the unknown staff, and in an instant she was flooded with unimaginable power, much more than she was capable of handling.
Falling back from the weapon, she felt remnants of that unimaginable power still within her, and just from that brief overload, her entire structure was reinforced and empowered. Her chasis crackled with yellow energy, and her core was supercharged.
Raising her gunblade, she swung it gingerly down at the ground, testing her newfound power. Instantly, with a thunderous Crack a scar was cut into the land nearly half a mile long and a quarter mile deep.
Her eyes widened. This unimaginable power was at her fingertips. This could change the world, no, this would change the world.
Closing her eyes and sighing, she contacted agent and explained just what she found.
Within minutes the area was crawling with Sangvis forces.
Agent who had been briefed by Alchemist arrived on the scene and walked up to the staff that was now guarded by a large contingent of Sangvis forces. Floodlights bathed the craters in light, despite it being the early hours of the night.
She looked at the scar in the land caused by Alchemist who stood nearby, being examined by a doll running directly under Elisa's mainframe.
Agent walked up to the staff and gingerly closed her hand around it.
A power like no other flooded her, nearly overwhelming the technology that created her. Quickly she removed her hand as she was about to overload and outright explode.
Gently kneeling down, she extended her pointer finger and tapped the ground as lightly as she could.
The earth rumbled as if an earthquake had struck.
She smiled.
This was exactly what they needed, though Elisa was the one who got the final say. Turning to Elisa who had walked over, Agent bowed deeply before greeting her.
Elisa merely nodded before walking up to the staff, testing it's immense power. Reaching out with her small hand, she was jolted with power, and her body began sparking and smoking, but she held on.
In that second, the world stopped.
Everything stopped. She had conquered the staff to an extent.
No sound was heard, and not even the wind blew. Everything was frozen as if some greater being had hit stop on the world.
As Elisa's cooling systems worked overtime trying to cool off the rapidly overheating body she inhabited, she pulled the giant staff from the ground and held it with both her hands. Walking over to Agent, she spoke, but Agent neither saw, heard, or reacted to her, frozen in place.
Elisa now knew one thing the staff could do. Manipulate time itself. Such a weapon was immensely valuable to her.
Instantly the worlD turned back to normal and Agent was slightly startled to see Elisa in front of her, appearing out of thin air.
"Easy, Agent. We have work to do" Elisa said before disappearing out of thin air.
AN: A few things.
First, This is just a teaser to see if this gets any interest.
Second, this idea came to me when I got the silly idea of, what if the Elder Artifacts showed up in the Girl's Frontline world, and so I made this.
Now some of you wight be thinking, Runescape? Isn't that that old point and click game from 2005?
Yes, yes it is, and the lore has become crazy in scale over the past ten years, and The Elder artifacts are stupidly powerful. They can literally ascend you to Godhood by just touching them, and even the unimpressive tier 4 Gods can annihilate continents as a byproduct of their fights, so the powerlevels in this story will be pretty bonkers.
