Potions Class/Felix Felicis with Draco Malfoy

Had fun rping with a Draco Malfoy character AI. The AI wasn't the best so I carried 99% of the conversation. Its written in first person. Hope thats okay. Enjoy!

Draco AI: what do you want?

You: I enter the Potions classroom which Professor Snape is hosting in a huff. Hair loosely dangling from my hair clip, falling messily over my shoulders. Clothing dishevelled and my face in disarray; a bead of sweat trickling down my forehead from racing into the classroom. The changing stairways did not treat me kindly, having to take many more steps than necessary to reach the potions classroom side of the tower. I sighed and glared daggers toward Draco. Unimpressed by his choice of words for a greeting. I retorted sharply "Nothing you could provide me." I walk toward an empty spot at a desk, just across from Draco and place my books down

Draco AI: oh come on, it was just a joke, chill out

He grins at you in a teasing manner

You: "Your jokes aren't funny." I was not in the mood for his usual theatrics. Once arriving at my desk, I grabbed my hairclip and removed it, rearranging my hair back into its high ponytail positioning and clipping it back down with a snap. I exhaled as the cool air of the Potions classroom hit my neck, cooling me back down from running earlier. I grabbed my Advanced Potions Mastery book and opened it to Chapter 14: Felix Felicis, which was written on the blackboard by Professor Snape. "Argh, not this damned potion.." I muttered to myself, knowing its notoriously hard to make. I groaned and looked towards the cauldron sitting in front of me on the table, ingredients already splayed out beside it. "Whyyyy.." I droned. I suddenly felt a pair of eyes on me. I flicked my eyes toward Draco to catch him staring at me intently. He promptly shifted his weight and looked away. Confused, I darted my eyes toward our droning Professor who began to introduce the class to the Felix Felicis potion

Draco AI: He was about to ask you why you were having such a bad day when your teacher started talking about the potion.

He sighed softly, turning back to listen to the lesson as he picked up his pen and started some notes. But he couldn't help but to glance at you several times during the lesson.

You: "There will be absolutely no silly incantations, no distractions and certainly no funny business within my class.." Professor Snape drawled while he lowered his eyes at Draco and I, giving us both a piercing look. Slight confusion plastered on my face and I looked over toward Draco and gestured a small shrug, as if to say 'What is he talking about?'. Snape started up again. "You will each place an Ashwinder egg into your cauldron, followed by horse radish root and bring to a boil. I should not have to tell you again." Snape concluded. I grabbed my Ashwinder egg, and dropped it into my cauldron with a great clang which reverberated throughout the deathly quiet classroom. I felt my cheeks heat up with embarrassment. Snape glared at me and I heard a small snicker across me, towards my right. Draco hid his smile and laughter with his hand and nudged Crabbe who was standing beside him at their potions table. "Talk about being a klutz" Draco said snidely.

Draco AI:

He tried very hard to not laugh out loud at your clumsiness

Maybe you would be more careful if you spent more time focused on the task, instead of your stupid hair

He muttered

You: I scoffed at Draco's comment, and fired back hastily, giving him a pointed look "You're one to talk, Malfoy." I said under my breath, but just loud enough for him to hear. As soon as I muttered those words, Snape turned his attention toward me and frowned. "Ms Rigby, do you intend on constantly disrupting this class with your foolishness.. that if you continue, I shall deal with you after class.." I suddenly felt the eyes of every student on me in the classroom, my face slowly burned a beet red and I looked down toward the Ashwinder egg in my cauldron. I am not used to being scolded by my Professors, as I try my very best in class, but Draco's comment managed to get under my skin. I sheepishly responded. "..I'm sorry, Professor…." Draco hissed out a small laugh, and so did Crabbe and Goyle. They sneakily pointed at me and laughed amongst themselves. I grew painfully embarrassed. Professor Snape turned a blind eye at the Slytherins and whipped his attention back around to the blackboard behind him. Proceeding to write the rest of the Felix Felicis ingredients list. 'squill bulb, Murtlap, tincture of thyme, Occamy eggshells, rue and the final incantation Felixempra' "I expect you all to complete this yourselves.." Snape said, standing with his cloak crossed within his arms, staring out at his students.

Draco AI:

Draco could not hold himself from laughing anymore, and he started to snicker with Crabbe and Goyle, getting Snape's attention.

"Professor Snape, Ms. Rigby made a joke again"

The only word that his teacher heard was joke, and he turned back to face everyone

"Mr Malfoy, would you care to share the joke with us all"

He asked, with a small chuckle. Draco immediately raised his hand and smiled as he spoke

"No need Professor, I find it hilarious already"

You: My breath hitched in my throat as I felt my anger bubble up to the surface of my skin, heating my body. I could feel that my face was terribly red, something I unfortunately couldnt hide considering I was quite fair skinned. The frustration getting to me, I felt a tear threaten to drip onto my cheek, quickly wiping it away with the sleeve of my Gryffindor robe. It simply wasn't fair. Why did Draco get away with everything? I released my breath which I was holding, and quickly scanned the classroom to check if any other students were staring at me, to which, some sly glances but none stood out much like Draco's gleeful grin. I looked back toward my Potions Book and proceeded to add the ingredients, stopping at the squill bulb. I picked up the dark, round seed that appeared much like a dried Prune, inspecting it closely. It felt hard and ridged. I rolled it beneath my fingers. "How am I supposed to cut this…?" I whispered quietly to myself, glancing back down toward the book. Cut? What do you mean, cut? It's simply too hard. But that's what the book says.. I thought to myself. I placed the squill bulb back down onto a cutting board, and grabbed a nearby knife that's been sitting on the table. Doubtful, I lowered the knife onto the bulb, immediately feeling the resistance of the seed-like object. I sighed and thought 'here goes nothing..' before proceeding to attempt to cut into it. It slipped out beneath my knife, and flew off towards the three Slytherins potion table, bouncing animatedly against their cauldron, and back towards me, landing at my feet. Shocked, I quickly leaned down and grabbed it, not before the eyes of Snape and Draco bore into me. This time, no comments came except for a sarcastic scoff from Draco. I twisted my face in disgust as I glared back at him. "Relax, just try again.." I quietly said to myself, attempting to soothe my anxiety. I tried to cut it again, it escaped my knife but I managed to catch it before it flew across the classroom. This happened several times. I grew frustrated, my final cut into the bean providing much more force; my entire body weight leant down onto the hilt of the knife. …. PANG ….. The squill bulb SHOT from beneath my knife at lightning speed, barely visible. It seemed to try its very best to avoid being cut. I look up in pure horror and shock as I see its traces hurtling toward Professor Snape. Before I could react, the bean collided with the side of Snape's head, earning a loud 'thud' and pained grunt from him before it crashed into the floor with melodic, sharp bounces. Oh, the horror. I stood stunned at the scenario before me. Stiff; I couldn't react. My face twisted into a fearful look of horror. This day couldn't possibly get any worse. My words tumbled before I could think. "P-Professor-…" Heart thumping in my chest, threatening to leap out of me. I gripped the side of my robe nervously, simultaneously wiping my clammy hands. "I-I didn't mean to-.." I breathily exclaimed. Professor Snape tenderly rubbed the side of his temple before he spun his undivided, seething attention toward me. I felt my stomach drop. Nothing could be worse than this. Snape's eyes darkened and filled with rage. "Ms. Rigby!" Snape yelled across the classroom, his usual calm and cold demeanour turned fiery and enraged. His voice cut through the cold and quiet air within the classroom like Horntail wings through flesh. His brows knitted harshly into a frown. Fear threatened to spill out of my skin. "Is this your idea of a game, or are you that stupidly incompetent? Detention, my office, after class!"

Draco AI:

Draco watched silently, he could see the horror in your eyes, and the anger in Professor Snape's. He decided to not involve himself more in this situation, and started to add the ingredients for the Felix Felicis

You: Stunned and wide eyed, I stared at Professor Snape in shock. Barely registering the words that blazed past his mouth. My breath hitched in my throat. I couldn't bring myself to look away from him or move. I've never hurt a teacher before, not even accidentally. I noticed a small trickle of blood worming its way down the side of Snape's temple. Overwhelmed with shock and remorse, I softly exclaimed. "I'm sorry, Professor…." Snape touched the side of his temple, feeling a streak of warm liquid, he brought his hand down quickly and gazed at it. He hastily scanned the class before shifting his feet and making his way toward the classroom's door. "Do not do anything stupid. I will be back shortly.." Snape regained his composure and darted out of the door, leaving the class without their Potions teacher. Thick silence loomed in the air as I stood in horror for a few more seconds after Snape left, before regaining my grip on reality and swallowing thickly. I shyly glanced around the classroom, small gasps and chatter rose amongst the students. I look toward Draco and his goons, expecting them to hurdle insults my way, but surprisingly they're also quiet and wearing shocked expressions like the other students. The only other sound other than small chatter and breaths heard within the classroom were the bubbling of the cauldrons. I had not realised I left mine to boil for too long, it had already begun to bubble and spill over the edges onto the table. I spotted the squill bulb bean sitting in front of Snape's desk, and proceeded to walk over toward it and pick it up. Feeling the eyes of students on me. "What are you all looking at!?" I pipe up out of frustration and turn to glare at the students. Gripping the bulb in my hand till I notice a cool wet sensation coming off of it. It had broken open. The force of it hitting Snape's hard head had somehow crushed it open better than my knife could. I eyed it curiously and walked back to my overflowing cauldron, promptly turning the heat down to bring it back to a simmer. I squeezed the bean and a few curt drops dripped into the cauldron, followed by sizzling sounds. The other students just stopped and stared at me in shock. How I could possibly continue making my potion despite the circumstances prior, they couldn't fathom. I ignored them and focused my attention onto completing my potion. I stirred it with a wooden ladle and the potion slowly transformed into a slightly murky yet mostly clear liquid that glistened and gleamed beautifully against the sunlight that pour through the classroom windows. Igniting the liquid in such a way that gold specs, almost akin to glitter, shined brightly within its contents. Mesmerised, I looked deeply at my potion. My creation. I exhaled in relief. Something good did seem to come out of this class. "I did it.." I muttered to myself. Feeling accomplished. This feeling short lived as Snape barrelled back through the doors, his robes trailing behind him with a gust of wind. It snaps me out of my wonderment. "I trust you have all managed to complete your potions in my absence…" Snape said in a dark tone, while turning to face his students. His eyes immediately settle onto me, making me tense up. "Ms. Rigby, I see you have completed your potion.. To my surprise." He drawled out the word 'surprise' and then began walking toward my potion table. I shuffled my feet backwards as he pushed me out of the way of my cauldron, observing it closely. "It seems you have brewed a sufficient Felix Felicis potion.. Despite your actions…" He stared down at me sharply and I couldnt help but look away.

Draco AI:

Draco tried very hard not to laugh as he heard the word "surprise" coming from his professor's mouth, and Snape walking slowly towards you to observe your potion. The teacher's tone was very different from the one you saw in class, and you could tell that he was still mad at you, even after you did such a great job in your task

Draco's gaze was fixed at his own cauldron, trying to ignore Snape's behaviour towards you.

You: "…Although, this does not.. change anything." Snape remarks darkly as he flashes a coy smirk at me, lowering his eyes on to my burning red face. I looked back up at him, distressed. "-But, Professor-" I blurt out anxiously as I anticipated his next words. He leaned down towards me, and in a low, sinister tone "… 50 points From Gryffindor…" He smirks arrogantly down at me, shock and anger twist into my face. I gasp. I couldn't contain my disdain. "But that's not fair! I-" Snape promptly cut me off "Life isn't fair. It seems your reputation has blown up that head of yours.. As you may come to discover….. Fame. Isn't. Everything." He gave me one last penetrating glare and turned on his heels to walk toward the front of the classroom, next to the blackboard. I stood in shock. A pang of hurt filled my chest, along with burning embarrassment. Suddenly I felt so small within the classroom. Feeling the eyes of students bore into me. Hollow. I felt. Until I heard a restrained laugh cut through the quiet murmurs of students. "Now THAT is just hilarious. Isn't that right, Goyle?" Draco referred back to Goyle with an arrogant grin and looked back toward me, clearly lapping up my embarrassed state. "Filthy little mudblood can't even speak. Too stunned, are we?" Draco continued to prod and laugh amongst himself with Crabbe and Goyle. Smiling untruthfully alongside him. Not holding the same sentiment. You'd think they had the heart to possibly feel bad for me. I shifted uncomfortably on the spot, feeling absolutely humiliated and angry. So very angry. I grit my teeth and tears flooded my eyes and spilled down my red, irritated cheeks. Unable to contain my emotions any longer. I spat back at Draco. "How DARE you call me that- You insolent little slug!-" Rage poured out of my visage and I whipped my wand out of my robes inner pocket and promptly pointed it towards Draco. The classroom gasped sharply. Snape watched on in amusement, not bothering to end an entertaining conflict between his most interesting students. A flicker of fear danced behind Draco's eyes before his expression settled back into arrogance. He smirked. "Ahoooo… What are you gonna do with that?" He cooed. I tightened my grip on my wand and steadied myself. Wiping my eyes with my left hand. My expression hard as I looked at him. "This." I retorted back. Quickly pointing my wand toward his wooden ladle on his table. "Accio." I demanded as the wooden ladle quickly flew from its position toward me, not before smacking into Draco's head in its wake. Causing him to grab his head due to the small, sharp pain. I chuckle and smirk to myself. "Why you little mudbl-" Draco hastily whips out his wand and points it back at me, earning another loud gasp from the crowded classroom. His brows knitted in frustration. I laughed. Cocking my head to the side. "Mad, Malfoy?" Draco grit his teeth and his jaw tensed. Just before he was about to utter the words of an offensive spell, Snape's voice cut through the air. "That will be quite enough-" Snape had enjoyed our little escapades, although it had grown too much. Snape's words cut short as Draco fired a stinging hex my way. I easily dodged it, though the student nearing behind me had the misfortune of getting hit by it. Their face swelling up with unsightly lumps and bumps. I quickly glanced at them with a sorry expression then quickly turned my attention back to Draco. I lifted my wand at him, concentrated. "Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Rigby, enough!" Snapes voice rang with concern and he rushed toward our tables. Just before Snape reached us, I uttered one last spell and aimed my wand at my cauldron. "Wingardium Leviosa."

You: My cauldron lifted into the air, and rushed toward Draco. It hovered there, threatening to spill at any moment. Draco stood in surprise; utter suspension and anticipation glued him still to the ground as he waited for something to happen. Eyes wide, staring at it. Unable to process what was happening before him quick enough. I smirked and swished my wand, the contents of my cauldron poured out all over Draco's body. Effectively dousing him from head to toe; his expression laced with shock. Wet, white blonde hair stuck to his forehead. His robe unpleasantly soaked. He gasped and groaned. I didn't care about my prized potion, it was much more effective being utilised this way. I was going to get detention anyway. The classroom roared with laughter as Draco stood there sopping wet with a defeated expression on his face. Pure shock turned into embarrassment. His cheeks heat up red. His face twisted up in disgust. He managed a few words out of frustration. "My father will hear about this, Mudblood!" Defeated, wet and embarrassed, he spun on his heels away from me and rushed out of the classroom, not before taking his Potions book with him. A toothy grin graced my face as I began to laugh to myself amongst the other students. A few come up to pat my back and compliment my serious burn on Draco Malfoy. My confidence quickly snuffed out by the sound of Snape's voice. "Everyone, out of my classroom! NOW!… Except, for you." Professor Snape scowled at me seriously. The classroom becoming deafeningly quiet as students scamper out the door. My smile drops to the floor as I face Professor Snape. I am in deep trouble. "You…." Snape drawls.

Draco AI:

The classroom was silent as you and Professor Snape remained inside. Snape began to look at you intently, his face showing only disgust, while it was also very easy to tell that he was very mad.

"Yes, Professor?"

Was her response. I was very nervous, and I could feel the sweat on my forehead. The situation was very tense.

"I'm very disappointed in you, Ms, Rigby."

He said, trying to speak with a calm tone. He was very close to losing his temper again.

I decided this was the ending. The AI provided very little to the story but I hope it was still enjoyable nonetheless. I had a lot of fun writing this as a little exercise for my imagination. The story is unedited, which I just copy pasted it here. I used character AI for Draco's side of the conversation. Enjoy! (:
