Chapter 14: Family! Inner Wounds! And Misguided Solution!

(As you notice before I would said the lack of crossover is the proof but given Kamen Rider 555 x Senki Zesshou Symphoger XD is a thing now...yeah...still! Official crossover between my two favorite franchise, yay!)

Right now, both Hino Eiji and Yukine Chris are on guard. They just watch the a Gamel type Yummy, name Rikugame, destroyed the horde of Noises. Now is it gonna turn it attention on them? The chances are high and with the civilian still around them, the duo need to be ready. They both grabbed their OOO Driver and Relic Pendant respectively, ready to transform any moment notice.

However there was no need, after sparing a glance at the duo, instead of starting a whole new battle, the Yummy once again spun its hard shelled body. But not as an attack, rather this allowed it to drill through the ground and disappeared underground.

"Are we saved?" One of the civilian asked in confusion.

"I...I think so. And we were saved by...that thing." Another replied unsure.

"So cool, did you see Ayu!? That thing rip the Noises apart like it nothing!" Hayashi Yuchi cheered in excitement.

"Uhm. We are safe now." Hayashi Ayu replied with a more shaken smile.

"Yes, yes we are." Hayashi Kyo said with a sigh of relief.

The man instantly knell down and hug both of his children.

"Tou-chan, it been a while...since you hug us like this." Hayashi Ayu said.

"Idiot, why did you said that?"

Hayashi Yuchi chided his sister, who flinched.

In response, the father frozen, in his mind a certain image played in his head. It the same image that have been replayed over and over again for the last two years. That of his wife last smile as she push her kids to him, as she stuck under the rubble with the Noises looming over her.

"I...I'm..." Kyo muttered.

Meanwhile, seeing this, both Chris and Eiji have a complicated expression due to their own line of thoughts.

Afterward, the ambulance and firefighter trucks arrived to check on all the civilian and damaged building. Thankfully due to the Yummy's intervention, the damage is very low and there is no casualty among the people.

"Thank you so much! First you found my children for me and now you even helped us from the Noises."

Hayashi Kyo said, giving a deep bow to the two person in front of him.

Both Hino Eiji and Yukine Chris have varied response to the man's words of gratitude.

"It's alright, we just happened to pass by." Eiji said.

"Beside, is not like we are the one who send the Noises packing." Chris said with a shrug.

"That maybe so but you guys stopped by and helped us to run." Kyo said. "That alone is enough, I couldn't possibly expect you guys to do anything ridiculous like endangering yourself to fight the Noises." He said matter-of-factly.

It is this moment that both Eiji and Chris refused to meet the man's gaze, not that he noticed that, still feeling the rush from the whole ordeal.

"So you and your kids, you guys not hurt or anything right?" Chris asked, want to make double sure.

For obvious reasons, the well being of this family has been push up to be one of her top priority in the last few hours.

"We fine Chris-oneechan!" Ayu interjected, running up to them with her brother following behind. "I just got a scrape but in return I got this cute animal bandages." She said, showing off said bandage on her forearm.

However, the girl's innocence didn't matter to Yukine, who can only focus on one fact.

"Sorry. You shouldn't have be hurt like this." Chris said with a heavey tone, a frown marred her face.

Her serious attitude really surprised the Kyo family, after all, for them to be so close to the Noises and only got a few scraps out of it? That's like being caught in a burning building and the worst you got is just having dust on you. They couldn't possibly comprehend the completely different point of view that the Gear User in front of them has.

"Chris-chan, I think everyone must be exhausted after this, we should let them rest."

Eiji interjected, putting a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

"Right, sorry." Chris muttered. "Have a good night."

With that she swiftly turned around and walk away.

"Is there really nothing I can do to repay you guys?" Kyo said after a moment of silence, his gaze still linger on Chris. "Especially for Chris-kun here, as I thought...she must have been attacked by the Noises too huh?"

"Sorry, it not my place to tell." Eiji said with a shake of his head.

"I understand, still..." Kyo said, scratching the side of his head in thought. Then his eyes lit off. "Ah, if it not too much trouble how about I treat you guys to a meal tomorrow? I know a great Chinese restaurant in the block." He asked hopefully.

"Well..." Eiji trailed off, crossing his arms with a polite smile. He understand Chris's position and know she want to keep the family safe. Though a thought suddenly occurred to Eiji that make him change his decision. "I think Chris-chan get along well with Ayu-chan and Yuchi-kun and I'm sure they would be happy to meet with her again as well. So if it really not too much trouble I would be happy to accept your invitation." He said with an excited tone.

Hearing this, the father shared the excitement as well.

"Then it decided! Let's meet up at the mall again tomorrow afternoon if it alright with you guys?" Kyo asked.

"We get to have a meal with you guys? Isn't that great Oniichan!?" Ayu cheered.

"Uhm." Yuchi nodded.

"Alright, I will let Chris-chan know, I'm sure she will like it." Eiji said.

"At least, I hope." He thought.

The man waved goodbye to the family and also leave.

Later, back at Chris's hideout.

"You what!?" Chris is definitely not happy. "What's wrong with you? It best if they don't get close to us and now you agreeing to them treating us to a meal!?" She exclaimed with a pissed off expression.

Hino have to raise up his hands in defense, his expression blanked but he need to make sure the girl understand.

"Believe me, I didn't accept this just because I want a free meal." Eiji said with an abashed expression. "But at that time I just thought this is a good chance for us to keep a close eyes on them without it being too weird."

"Huh? The Hell you on about?" Chris asked, now calmed down somewhat but still has a doubtful expression.

"Well, call it intuition or something but I have a feeling the Yummy is connected to that family somehow." Eiji said, scratching the back of his head in thought.

"Why?" Chris asked, crossing her arms, her expression calmed down as she paid close attention. Part of it is because this could involve the family's safety. "Just because they were there when the Yummy appear? There are a lots of other who wasn't able to runaway in time as well."

"True, but the reaction of the kids, especially Yuchi-kun make me curious." Eiji said, leaning against a wall, looking up to the light to gather his thought. "Yummy can be spawn from any kind of desire, no matter if it good or bad it usually become very straightforward in a messy way when the Yummy is involved."

"Hmph, given what I see when that blue haired sword girl got one, I can see what you mean." Chris said, nodding in understanding. "So...what? You think that explain why the Yummy targeted the Noises? Because one of the kids or maybe the whole family wish the Noises would disappear or something?"

"We can't said for sure but that could be very likely." Eiji said, letting out a small chuckle. "Granted I am just winging it as well, but Ankh has said I somehow has a knack to get caught up in situation like this and it have been proven true before so let see how it go this time."

"And if you wrong?" Chris asked, her expression doubtful.

"Well at the very least the pair of siblings will get to hang out with you again, you know how much they like you." Eiji asked with a light-hearten shrug.

"How do you want to die?" Chris is definitely not amused.

"Chris-chan, you can't just threaten anyone like that." Eiji said, chiding playfully at her.

After all, it can only be a joke right? Silly girl...

"Alright that blank gaze is really haunting me now." Eiji thought with a sweat-drop.

"Don't worry, you not just anyone." Chris said without missing a beat.

"For some reason, that's hurt." Eiji muttered.

"And I haven't even started yet." Chris said, cracking her knuckle.

"Alright, no more joke, understood." Eiji said with a salute. "Anyway, if you don't want to, you can stay home tomorrow. Just me alone would be enough." He said casually.

However both of them know the subject matter regarding the family is anything but trivial for Yukine.

"Tch, no need to be such a worrywart." Chris said dismissively. "If a Yummy is involved with that family they could be in danger, the more people the better." She said with resolute. "Beside, I'm interested in how good the food is as well." Chris said with a shrug.

"...I see, alright it decided then." Eiji said, stretching his arms up. "You can use the bathroom first Chris-chan." He said, walking toward the couch.

He understand there is nothing else need to be said, if Yukine really have been effected way too much by the family presence to the point she can't face them, then that would have been fine, it understandable. However, the girl didn't choose that option, Chris is willing to face an aspect of her sins represented by the tragedy that family live through. For that family's safety, for her own future, Chris is dead set on making sure no harm is befalling on that family.

"That's the least I can do for now." Chris thought.

"And that's everything we known so far of the Noises attack today." Ogawa Shinji reported.

"Things sure have gotten weirder." Sakurai Ryoko remarked with an intrigued smile.

And that is saying something consider this is the 2nd Division we talking about, the one who has to deal with Relic and Noises on daily basis.

"This Yummy that attacked the Noises, from what we know of them perhaps this stem from the desire of the host." Kazanari Genjuro remarked.

His sharp mind already let him arrive to the same conclusion Hino Eiji has, someone who has dealt with the Greeeds and Yummy for much longer.

Currently the 2nd Division have already caught winds of what happened at the mall, in no time they have already gathered all the data and testimony related to the attack. Naturally the appearance of the Yummy didn't pass their eyes.

"Given what we know so far that does seems to be the only plausible explanation." Tomosato Aoi remarked, putting a finger under her chin as her thinking pose.

"Not to mention, camera nearby have managed to caught a glimpse of Hino and Yukine Chris near the scene." Fujitaka Sakuya said, letting out a small sigh. "Though I suppose it will be weirder if Hino isn't around when things like this happen."

"Hm, even that impeccable timing is part of what make it fun to watch him." Ryoko said with a giggle.

"Oi, at this point is it even a joke for her to act like Hino is a source of entertainment?"

Sakuya whispered to Aoi.

"You been here for how long already and still think Sakurai-san is joking?" Aoi asked back, deadpanned.

"You got me there."

"For now, let just keep observing the situation. I have faith that Eiji-kun is already working on this, we will provide whatever support he need when the time call for it." Genjuro said.

At a safe location, watching the footage of the Yummy fighting the Noises is Fine. As always the woman didn't bother to dress herself anymore than a black stocking. The computer beside replaying the moment, also have data and chart on it showing how the Yummy's Cell Medals increase as it fought the Yummy. While watching, the woman have a bowl of fruit on her laps, as she munch on a slice of apple she hummed to herself.

"How sweet and nutritious as well, really why would someone pick a nice plate of fruit over a grizzly oily burger is beyond me." Fine sighed to herself. "If only more people check the nutrition chart and see how much fat is in those factory hazard." She then typed a few key on the computer. "Now then, this is an interesting process. An amount of Cell Medals are gradually being create as the Yummy fulfill its host desire." Fine hummed in amusement. "In a way this is a perpetual motion process but it is too slow."

By that Fine mean she understood as much as a Cell Medals a Yummy can produce as enact its host desire, it not gonna cover an amount of the energy from a Core Medals in a day or night. And if needed, the Core Medals can absorb the energy of the Cell Medals while the reverse doesn't seems likely to happen.

"Regardless the result would prove to be fruitful for me." Fine said, giving a stretch and let out a satisfied sigh when she feel her joint popped. "Still, how is it that this child always find herself in middle of a mess." She sighed wistfully.

On the screen it replayed the moment the Yummy saw both Hino Eiji and Yukine Chris.

If possible, Fine do hope Chris won't find her ever again, at the very least the blond haired woman won't have to kill her if that is the case.

Still...

"Considering we are talking about a creation of Alchemy here, what a twist of fate." Fine said.

The woman can't help but muse about a certain group she known of. Their goal have never really align but it have never really brought the two sides to oppose each other either, so they have stay neutral and out of each other space. But now that a new variable that could hinder Fine's plan have root in Alchemy, even if it not of this Earth the woman can tell there are some similarity here and there with the system they use. But alas, while she has taken interest in it and have gotten quite familiar with the process, given Fine's busy schedule she never have time to reach the level of mastery with Alchemy even with all her time.

But if it that little girl who surrounded herself with her dolls...

The golden haired woman wonder if that girl would be interested in a dinner invitation.

"Hm...well now, what to do?" Fine mused with a small smile.

The following day, as promised, Eiji and Chris met up with the Hayashi family in front of a Chinese restaurant.

"I swear the dumpling of this place is delicious." Kyo said timidly with a small smile.

"Our mother loved this place." Yuchi said with a somber smile.

That certainly explained the older man tone to both Hino and Yukine.

"Haha, it certainly a place that bring me both happiness and sadness." Kyo said, then give light shake of his head. "I'm sorry, must be the event yesterday still rattle me, to spoil your mood like this."

"It's fine, we all have our way to deal with our pain." Chris quickly dismissed the apology, she then fast walked ahead. "Come on, I'm interested in these dumpling now."

"She a kind girl." Kyo commented with a light smile.

Next to him, Eiji nodded in agreement.

The moment they get settled in, Kyo already handled the ordering, being the one most familiar with the place. The waiter left for the kitchen after having written down all the dishes he ordered.

Thus this given time for Eiji to finally get into his reason for accepting this meal invitation.

"Hayashi-san, pardon me if this seems weird, but recently have anything strange happened to you?" Eiji asked.

"Well that certainly sound weird." Kyo said with a confused chuckle. "I mean beside the Noises attack yesterday I really can't think of anything else more stand out for me."

"I suppose so, not much can get stranger than that. Sorry for the weird question." Eiji said dismissively.

"And don't forget that cool turtle beast. It so satisfying to see him tear the Noises apart like that, serve them right!" Yuchi exclaimed with excitement.

"Alright Yuchi, I understand where you coming from but you need to calm down, for all we know that thing can be very dangerous as well." Kyo warned cautiously.

Hino pondered while watching the father and son interaction, the older man certainly looked surprised by the question, but other than that there isn't any telltale sign of him knowing anything. Eiji wouldn't claim to be the most adept expression readers in the world, however he certainly is no slouch either, given his parent have taught him about where to look to tell if a person is being genuine or not. Certainly a skill that is needed for one who step into politic world, something they have expected Eiji to follow. While that would never happen now, the young man still feel grateful for the lessons.

Of course, Hino by nature is someone who give everyone a benefit of a doubt so usually he has no reason to watch every single words someone said to see if they trying to lie or something like that. But at time like this, it is necessary for him to be able to tell if the man in front of him is lying. And from what he can see, Kyo is either have studied in schooling one expression and social ticks or he genuinely can't think of anything weird happened to him. Now there is a third possibilities is that Hayashi Kyo would consider having a coin insert into him and a monster spawn out of it as normal but Eiji doubt that is the case.

However, just because the one he asked the question to show no abnormal behavior, that doesn't mean those around him isn't. And it also doesn't mean Eiji wasn't looking for them. Though admittedly he didn't expect this, if it wasn't the father then Eiji would have expected the son, however right now the one who flinched when she heard Eiji's question is the daughter, Hayashi Ayu.

Yukine who been watching the interaction this whole time also noticed this as well. In her case it is because of her concern for the family that make her watch them more closely, especially Ayu. This led her to caught the small twitch the girl show when Hino asked his question to the father, seeing Eiji subtle glance at her, the silvernette know what she has to do even if she feel awkward about it. After all, it isn't a hidden fact that between the two of them, Ayu taken a liking to Chris more.

"Yo...Ayu-chan, how you doing today?" Chris asked, her voice sound more subduing than normal.

"Ah! I'm fine, I'm just soooo excited for the dumpling that's all." Ayu replied nervously with a twitching smile.

Yep, the girl definitely know something.

"What's wrong with you? You need to use a bathroom or something?" Yuchi asked.

The boy have also noticed how squirmish his little sister is, he just draw a more different, and to him, more reasonable conclusion.

"Onii-chan you idiot, don't said that out loud. I'm not a kid anymore." Ayu huffed in embarrassment. "I'm going to the restroom." She said then quickly dashed off.

"See I was right anyway, girl is always make thing so complicated for no reason." Yuchi huffed, feeling wronged.

"Then I too, I will be back with Ayu-chan." Chris said as she walk off.

Seeing no problem with this, the father and son engaged to some idle chat with Eiji. When they learn he is a traveler naturally they wanted to know if the man has some story to share.

In the restroom, Hayashi Ayu let out a sigh of relief. As annoyed as she was with her brother for his lack of tact as always, she can't help but feel grateful. At that them when hearing Hino asked the question she has gotten very nervous she was reminded of the strange encounter she has with the magical lady.

(Flash back)

It was a raining night, and also, the second year remembrance of the seven years old girl's mother passing. Their father, possibly doesn't want his children to see what he think is a pathetic sight of him sobbing, retired to his room early after bought him dinner for the two. Her nine years old brother is also unhappy because of this, locking himself in his own room and buried himself in his game. This leave Ayu alone in her room, the girl also silently sobbing as she hold the bunny doll that her mother bought for her. Especially this one has its ear ripped off once by Yuchi, hence her mother take the time to sew it back. Thus it become the girl most treasured object to remember her mom.

Generally, at the age of 5-7, children would begin to understand the finality of death already. Of course they can't fully understand its role in life like an adult can yet but they know it mean in more simple term. It mean Ayu will never see her mother again, no matter how much she wish for her, no matter how much she cried out for her. But at the very least, she wanted to be able to has her brother and father with her at moment like this.

However, in a way Ayu was able to understand, her brother and father is also hurting like her. But unlike her they seems to not want to give hugs or kisses in time like this and instead wanted to be alone to deal with their pains. As for why, that's where the girl's mind draw a line. It already impressive for a little girl who is in emotional pain to be able to be so understandable to this point.

"I don't get it Mommy..." Ayu sobbed. "Why can't Daddy and Brother be together with me during time like this?"

Thus the girl can only sob by herself as well.

"It is so sad to cry alone like this." A sweet voice commented with a sad tone.

Or so Ayu thought.

The girl jolted up in surprise and turn to the source of the voice which is the window to her room. Except this is the second floor so who is it? A thief?

"But is it possible for a thief to be so beautiful?"

That was the first thought passing through Ayu's mind as she saw the finger sitting by the edge of her window that have been opened, despite Ayu remember she locked it all the time, not to mention it was raining well so there was no reason to keep it open. And yet despite the rain still pouring strong, there not a single drop of water splashing into her room nor any of it touch the figure sitting by the window.

Said figure is a beautiful lady, even more beautiful than the models, famous stars that Ayu saw on the TV. What is most eye catching is her luscious long blond hair that covered her back.

"Y...you not a thief right?" Ayu asked.

The question draw an amused chuckle from the lady. Of course, the little girl has no way to know the one sitting in front of her is in no way a thief. No, this person is way more dangerous than that, in a scale the girl can't comprehend.

"Hm, I don't think there anything worth stealing for me here little one." Fine said with an amused tone. "Though I suppose a little princess like you would be fine?" She asked playfully.

"Eh?" Ayu is confused, such a pretty person calling her a princess. But still, given what she said... "Are you...a kidnapper?" She asked, turning pale.

"Hahaha, oh you are so adorable." Fine said, shaking her head while waving her hand. "Relax, I have no intention of being an evil witch and take the princess away from the castle." She said, fully turning toward Ayu. Her eyes carry a sympathizing gaze, that for a moment it remind the little girl when she stare at her mom's eyes. "If anything, I wish to be a fairy godmother who can wipe away the tears staining your face."

"A fairy godmother? I'm...I'm not a kid anymore, I won't be tricked so easily." Ayu said, puffing her cheek.

The girl look indignant that someone is thinking she is so...childish! Sure, Ayu love all those fairy tales and always wanted to meet a real deal, but she has learn! Through the way most kids do, by all the teasing she got from the older kids in school. Though their faith for Santa Clause is unshakeable, that is off-limits!

"Also where is her wand and dress if she is a real deal?" Ayu nodded confidently.

The girl can still dream after all, she just doesn't proclaim about it loudly anymore.

"Hahaha, who would dare to trick such a bright young one like you, but really what a world we live in that confined you kids your greatest gift of belief and imagination." Fine said with a dramatic sigh then she has a mischievous smile. "But worry not, I shall show you proof right here little one, also just to let you know first, I'm such a great fairy godmother that I have no need for my wand." She said confidently.

With a flick of her hands, a colorful orb of light formed on her palm much to the surprise of Hayashi.

"W...wow. Is that a magic trick?" Ayu asked.

"You will know right away, here, take your hand out." Fine said warmly.

She then toss the small rainbow orb toward the little girl, it floated toward her, bringing the illuminating rainbow light across the room. Yet around the house, the rest of the Hayashi's family heard nothing of what happening in the room. And the moment Ayu touched it, she feel an incredible source of comforting warmth directly touching her palm then it reach out across her entire body. The sensation make the little girl who was crying before, has a small wondered smile.

"A...awesome. This has to be real magic." Ayu said in a trance, she then snap her eyes toward Fine in excitement. "You really are a Fairy Godmother?"

"Here to help out my little princess." Fine said with a curtsied bow.

At that, the little girl's mood went back to being a bit somber. The orb in her hand simmered down.

"But...how? C...can you bring someone back to life?" Ayu asked hopefully.

At this, Fine let out an apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry Ayu-chan, that is a law I cannot break. If anything just know for sure she is in a better place." Fine promised.

The little girl sniffled. Once again she was reminded there is no way to reverse what happened when someone passed away. Not even if you have magic, but at the very least the Fairy Godmother herself confirmed her mother is in a better place now.

"Then what can you do for me?" Ayu asked in curiosity.

"Well for starter, I might be able to help you along with your Father and Brother become a close family like before again?"

Fine said, crouching down to the girl at eye level.

"But...we are a family! My dad and brother still together with me!" Ayu argued heatedly.

The little girl didn't want to accept any implication that their family is fractured, even if it coming from who she believe is a Fairy Godmother.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that." Fine said with genuine apologetic look. "However, you yourself know better than anyone else something is hurting them and making it hard for them to be around you like before right?"

"Th...That..." Ayu stammered.

"Worried not." Fine said, patting her head gently. "That is why I am here, since I can't bring your mother back, let me give you a spell that would offer the next best thing." She said, taking out a Cell Medal while still keeping a sweet smile. "How would you like it if I said this can help you wipe out your family's source of grief?"

(Flash Back End)

That was few days ago, for a time Ayu thought it was all a dream. That was until yesterday night, when the creature appeared and protected her family. Better yet it has make all the bad Noises go away and she can see her excited her brother is.

The girl stood inside the female restroom, luckily there is no one else here so she can gather her thought.

"Thank you." Ayu whispered.

"Oi, Ayu-chan." Chris suddenly called out.

"Eep!" Ayu squeaked.

Turning around, she saw Chris standing behind her with her arms crossed in front of her chest. Her expression is that torn between concern and stern. Ayu was too focus avoid the attention she getting from Hino's questions that she didn't consider the white haired girl herself would follow her.

"Wait that doesn't has to be why! Chris-oneechan might just want to use the restroom!" Ayu thought in relief.

"Hey Ayu, be honest with me. Are you hiding something?" Chris asked bluntly.

"Chris-oneechan didn't want to use the restroom! No!"

Ayu want to cry now but the girl still held strong, after all for gifting her with the magical beast, the Fairy Godmother asked Ayu to keep it a secret. And the girl know how this work! If she break her promise not only will she disappoint the Fairy who trusted her but she will also lose the magic gifted to her! And that can't happen now, not when it start to show it effect and make her dad and brother feel better!

"I really don't know what you talking about Chris-oneechan." Ayu said, trying to keep as much of a calm face as she can.

Unfortunately is not like the girl was trained from birth to be a skilled liar nor is she some kind of spy got shrunk to a body of a child, in other words, it didn't even took Yukine a second to know the girl is totally lying. Really the attempt is so bad that Chris almost feel guilty, like she is bullying a child. Well there is a child here but there is definitely no bullying from the silver haired girl! If anything Chris will make anyone who try to harm this girl and her family into a beehive, that's why it important for Chris to make sure Ayu is okay and let her know if she is in too deep of a trouble.

"Listen Ayu, if you somehow is involved with the thing that fought the Noises yesterday, you have to let me know." Chris urged, crouching down to the girl's eyes level and put her hands on Ayu's shoulder. "It is a monster and you are putting yourself along with your family at risk by using it." She said cautiously.

"No that's not true, that is my friend who is helping me relieving my family's pain!" Ayu snapped back.

However this is as good as a confession, the girl's face quickly have a look of shock and she wish she can swallow her words back, but she know it impossible.

"So is true, you are the host this time." Chris said, gritting her teeth at frustration, her anger while rising is not directed at the little girl in front of her. "How did you come into contact with it? Base on the way you talk you are aware of receiving it right? Was it a blond haired woman?" She asked rapidly.

In her rush to get the information, Chris unknowingly scared the little girl.

"L...Let go please!" Ayu yelled.

She then bolted out of the restroom much to Yukine's frustration.

"Argh, great going you idiot." Chris said to herself, rubbing her hair angrily.

Later when Chris walk out, she see Ayu has returned to her seat and purposefully avoided her gaze. With a sigh, the silvernette beckoned at Hino to come over.

"Guess it my turn to use the restroom, I will be right back." Eiji said.

"Please hurry, I can't wait to hear what did the falcon do after it grabbed your wallet!" Yuchi said with excitement.

The father laughed in amusement himself, it was an interesting story indeed and one that remind him to be careful with his wallet around avian creature.

The moment Eiji make his way to Chris, his joking expression give way to a more serious look.

"So it is Ayu-chan." Eiji commented.

After listened to what happened, there is no doubt left.

"So what now?" Chris asked with a sigh.

"Hm...we wait for now." Eiji said, crossing his arms.

"That's it?" Chris asked, quirking an eyebrow in disagreement.

"Well they are within our sight right now so it will be good if anything happen, plus something tell me Fine will create a scenario for the Yummy to appear again." Eiji said with a shrug. "She obviously didn't give Ayu-chan the Yummy to be keep as pet, she want it to be used so given the condition I would said the Noises might show up again soon." He said. "Obviously we can't make the whole city go to panic base on my hunch though, so we have to be ready in case it happen to reduce casualty to zero." Eiji said with resolute.

Yukine took note of his thought process, no trait of the usual bumbling easygoing guy can be seen right now.

"Surprisingly...this trait is similar between him and Fine. You feel like they are just taking it easy no matter what happen until something serious actually caught their attention." Chris mused.

"Alright, let's get back to the table then, it will be weird if the guests is nowhere to be seen." Chris said. "Beside since we are here might as well see what's the big deal about the dumpling." She said with a small smile.

Eiji chuckled in response.

When they both return to the table, Ayu avoided their gaze as expected, but other than that everything went on normally during the course of the meal. The moment the foods are served everyone dig in, with story being exchanged, mainly more of Eiji's hilarious mishap during his travel. The only exception is Ayu, while the girl do let herself get caught up in a moment from time to time as she let out small chuckle of the hilarious situations of Eiji's tales, it obviously she is far less engaging in the conversation. In fact, she avoided talking to Chris and Eiji for the rest of the meals, only response briefly when asked by her father or brother.

Knowing not to push, both Hino and Yukine wisely kept their silence and didn't talk to Ayu either.

Eventually the meals are finished and the group left the restaurant.

"Thanks for the meals Hayashi-san, this really is one of the best Chinese restaurant I been to." Eiji said.

"Same, it is pretty good." Chris nodded in agreement.

"Glad you guys enjoyed the food." Kyo said.

"Tou-chan, can we go home? I'm not feeling very well."

Ayu asked, tugging on her father's pant.

"You not getting a fever are you?" Kyo asked with a tired tone, once again was reminded how well his children are taken care of by his wife, heck she taken care of him as well, the person who always there to keep the whole family together. "Is it anything serious?" He asked in great concern.

His daughter shook her head much to his relief.

"I'm just a bit tired that's all." Ayu said. "I want to go to bed." She pleaded.

"Yeah, of course." Kyo said, nodding to his daughter then turned to Eiji and Chris. "It was nice having a meal with you guys, but we have to go now."

"We understand, you guys take care, hope you get your rest Ayu-chan."

Eiji said understandingly while Chris look like she wanted to said something but decided against it in the end, instead settled for an agreement nod.

"Thank you." Ayu said demurely.

And with that the group departed, however that's when Yukine pulled on Hino's sleeves with an irritated look.

"Oi, don't tell me we actually just gonna leave like this?" Chris asked incredulous. "Now that we know the Yummy is spawn from Ayu, we need to do something."

"Well not like we can just force Ayu-chan to summon the Yummy, not unless you want to make a little girl cry." Eiji said sheepishly then let out an amused grin. "Though I do agree, we shouldn't let our eyes off them right now, hence I didn't." He said.

Then Eiji take out a Taka Candroid, showing Chris how the can transformed to a small mechanical red bird.

"This is..." Chris muttered.

"I have a little guy just like this followed the Hayashi's family." Eiji said, petting the mechanical bird. "They of course will relay the situation back to this one, so it's fine." He said reassuringly.

"Should have told me that earlier." Chris grumbled, but her voice has a relieved tone. "Well when do you think the Noises will show up then?"

No sooner did she said that, did the Candroid in Hino's hand start to let out a beeping sound.

"I guess they are as impatient as us." Eiji commented.

It took a few minutes later for the city alarm to sound off to warn about the Noises's appear.

"This way! Hurry up you two!" Kyo urged.

The man held his daughter's hand and let his son grab on his sleeves as they ran to the shelter the moment the Noises start to appear out of nowhere, after a few minutes the alarm sounded off. This make the older man realize his family was unlucky enough to be caught right at the spot the Noises spawned this time, meaning this place would be swarmed with the deadly creatures soon, so they can't waste a single second.

"Huff. Huff. Why did the Noises keep appearing around us!? This is so unfair!" Yuchi cried out as he keep running.

"Tou-chan, I...I can't run anymore." Ayu panted tiredly.

"I...It's okay, hang onto me!" Kyo exclaimed.

He bend down and pick up his daughter, the fact that he only has one arm make it hard to do without the little girl's also hold on tight to him.

"Are we almost there yet?" Yuchi asked nervously.

"Just a few more, we should get there in no time!" Kyo said encouragingly.

That said he know the nearest shelter isn't too far but it not exactly close either. As ready as the city is for the Noises's emerge, it not like they can just build a shelter space for each street. The closest one is about 10 minutes away, and while usually that wouldn't be a long time, right now, it feel like eternity and anything can happen during this time. Around them, the people also running in fear. Already the sound of explosions can be heard, black dust covered the street, the signature sign of the Noises's arrival due to their nature of turning everything they touch to dust.

Suddenly a group of Noises crashed down ahead of the road, cutting off the path for the people running, including the Ayashi family. Everyone let out a scream of terror, they know a single touch would mean instant death, but now there is no way to run.

"N...No way...h...haven't you taken from us enough?" Kyo muttered in despair.

The man clutched his daughter close while shielding his son with his body, who is having an angry and scared expression.

"Stupid! Stupid things! Go away!" Yuchi shouted out.

Fueled by both fear and anger, the boy bend down and pick up the rocks scattered from the destruction and threw it at the Noises. Obviously, it did nothing to the creatures as they keep on advancing to the scared group of people.

"No...No...Stay away! Please come and help us!" Ayu screamed out.

And that's when an object crash landed right in the middle of the Noises, kicking up dust and destroying some of the smaller monsters. The figure was crouching, then stand up in its full height while letting out a roar, the Rikugame Yummy has returned. The monster arrival throw everyone to further confusion and panic, but not like it matter, to the Yummy all it care about is fulfilling the desire of the one it bond to. And right now is another grand opportunity to do just that! Especially when the host's emotion is so unstable, this make the Yummy even more feral.

It rush forth like a truck, smashing aside all the Noises surrounding the Ayashi's family.

"T...Thank you. You came just as I thought." Ayu said in relief.

But the monster didn't even register the little girl's words as it continue its path of carnage.

"Ayu...this...do you somehow know that monster?" Kyo asked in surprise and worry.

What father wouldn't when knowing his daughter might have something to do with a creature so dangerous?

"Uhm well...you see..." Ayu stammered, unsure of what to said. The promise she made to the Fairy Godmother of keeping this a secret still trouble the girl, she doesn't want to betray the trust of someone so kind who want to help her family. "I...I can't really said." She said timidly.

"You can't said?!" Kyo repeated incredulously. "Ayu-chan this isn't a joke, you need to let me know what's going on here!" He urged.

"Seriously Ayu-chan you have something to do with that thing?" Yuchi asked with an excited smile. "That's so cool! Now we won't have to be afraid of those Noises anymore! We can kick their butt!"

"No we can't!" Kyo exclaimed at his son. "Can't you see how dangerous that thing clearly is?!"

He said both to his son and his daughter, to discourage his son from any ridiculous idea he might has and once again to see if his daughter realize she need to said something yet.

But his daughter still fidget and said nothing, making the man want to pull his hair out. But he know that right now isn't really a time to reprimand your daughter if she has something to do with a Noises killing monster, because that monster is fighting the Noises near them right now.

"Alright, we still have to get out of here first. Everything else can be leave for later." Kyo said.

The man stood up with his children and they were about to resume their path toward the shelter but that's also when they heard other people screaming. As they look at the direction where it come from, all three of them widened their eyes in surprise and horror, specifically Ayu.

That's because as the Yummy fought against the Noises without a care, it brought untold damage to the people get caught in the crossfire around it. Some was hit by stray debris from the destroyed ground, some even got one of the Noises thrown at their direction leading to their demise.

"N...No! Please watch what you are doing! You suppose to take the Noises away and stop all our misery not causing harm to other!"

Ayu yelled desperately toward the tortoise monster.

However to the Yummy, just making sure the host it spawn from staying alive is as far as it 'compassion' will go. Everything else matter not to the Yummy as long as it is fulfilling its host desire, with an exception being a specific order is given by the Greeed that rule the branch of that Yummy for it to act otherwise. And that would mean Poseidon and anyone he 'lent' the Yummy to, in this case that would be Fine. Unfortunately, neither Fine nor Poseidon would bother with putting any 'safety awareness' as one of the rule into the Yummy.

Thus the Yummy ignored its host's distressed cry and continue to wreck havoc on the gathering mass of the Noises, soon everyone realize that rather than helping, this beast just making the chaotic situation even worse. They start to ran even harder, if it was possible with the situation already life threatening from beginning, for their life. However, at this moment the Rikugame Yummy turn it attention back on Ayu. Not because it has suddenly developed a conscience to listen to the girl's words, rather it because the tortoise themed monster decided it best to keep it host with it now among all this chaos.

After all, it would serve little to no purpose for the Yummy if it host die now. So it slammed its fists to the ground, creating a shock wave that destroyed some of the Noises that surrounded it, then the Yummy make it way to the Yahashi's family.

"S...Stay back!" Kyo shouted out. The man doesn't know what the Yummy want but it definitely not good, his life is nothing but if his children are harmed? No that's thought is unacceptable to the man. "OH!"

With a valiant cry the man charge forward the monster and swung his only fist at its face, a loud crack rang out and the man has tears in his eyes but he held it back. However, his knuckle has been bruised and is bleeding, with all the strength he has, swinging his fist at the Yummy has been like punching a steel wall.

The Yummy seemingly scoffed at a hit of a fly, gripped the man neck and lift him up, choking him.

"Tou-chan! Damn it you monster let him go!" Yuchi cried out.

"No! This is not how it suppose to be! Stop please!" Ayu pleaded.

Of course their words were fell to death ear, the Rikugame Yummy show no sign of stopping. It just watch as life slowly drain from the face of the choked Kyo. And not to mention the Noises that are still around destroying everything, the situation couldn't be any worse for the Yahashi's family. However just when the two children abandon all reasons and about to rush at the Yummy for all the good it would do, a figure dash past them and slammed his fist to the Yummy's face.

Another sound of impact rang out, though this time the strike was effective in making the Rikugame Yummy stumbled back and let Kyo go. Of course with its tough defense the punch, while pack great power to make it stagger in surprise, still didn't do anything to it at all.

But the fight hasn't even begun yet, the one who throw the punch, Kamen Rider OOO in his Multi Combo was only focus on saving Kyo first. As well as...

"Quick, continue running, they won't be chasing you guys anymore!" OOO shout out to all the bystanders who quickly followed his words now that they have their chances. The Noises that tried to follow were quickly pushed back when the Rider swing an energy slash with his Medaljalibur, he then help Kyo stand up with one hand. "You okay?" He asked.

"Y...You are..." Kyo muttered in surprise.

The man has recognized the voice of the person he just part few minutes ago.

"Oi stop lingering around like an idiots! Didn't you hear the guy?"

A rough female voice snapped the family out of their stupor. As the same time, Kyo was pulled out of OOO's hand and pulled to the other direction by a soft pair of hands. It took him a second to realize it was the white haired girl, Yukine Chris. Despite her smaller frame than him, he noted she has more strength than he has expected. Easily pull a grown man like him up with no trouble whatsoever. And she also quick too since she already did the same for all his kids, she then continue to usher them to runaway while following quickly behind.

"That man, he fighting the Yummy!" Yuchi pointed out in surprise.

After all, the Yummy is obviously a monster, it a being they can't comprehend. But this? It clearly a human wearing a very strange armor and he is destroying the Noises like nothing!

"Yeah, yeah, now come on get a move on! Believe me between the you guys and him? He is the one with the least concern!" Chris urged.

The girl clearly sound impatient but Kyo can't blame her, if anything he feel extremely grateful Yukine trying so hard to get them to safety despite all the craziness that is happening around them.

After running for a while, they managed to get faraway from where the Noises appeared. All of the Hayashi family members are panting heavily from the nonstop running while Chris herself look just a bit winded up.

"T...Thank you!" Kyo breathed out toward Chris. "You saved us again, really at this point I have no idea how we can return the favor." He said embarrassingly.

"Don't even think about it." Chris waved him off before she paused. "Though there is one thing I need." She said, then crouched down in front of Ayu. "Okay, now you can trust me right? Please, tell me about the monster. How did you get it?"

"O...Okay." Ayu muttered dejectedly.

Either due to Chris saving them again or the Yummy's prior actions, or perhaps both. The little girl find it much more easier to open up about the issue now, the promise of a secret has start to lose its hold on Ayu. And thus she start to tell them all that happened, from her meeting with Fine to receiving the Yummy and how it was suppose to act as a magical beast that would grant her wish. It wasn't exactly a long tale but given how shaken the girl is, it took her about 10 minutes to tell the whole story.

At the end of it, the silvernette clicked her tongue in irritation.

"Fine...you would use a little girl who already lost her mother like this?!" Chris thought in a mixture of sadness, anger and disappointment.

The girl feel like she should have no better but she can't help her feeling.

On the other hand both the father and brother were shocked at what they were told as well, but there is born out of concern and distress for their daughter, sister.

"Why? Why would you think it good to keep this a secret?" Kyo asked. "It clear this isn't safe, that woman, you saw what happened, she is someone very dangerous!"

He almost reach the point of snapping at his little girl, that just how worried he was, but her sniffling words stopped him dead in his track.

"I...I just want you and brother to stop being sad...so we can get close again." Ayu sniffled.

The father hearing this, was stunned to silence so it is the brother who spoke up.

"I..idiot what are you talking about!? We are still in the same house, we are still a close family!" Yuchi exclaimed.

He try to reassure his sister, however there are pause in his words. Highly likely because like his father, Yuchi understood what Ayu is talking about. And a sense of guilt that a young boy his age rarely feel well up inside Yuchi.

"B...But there are times when you guys won't talk to each other...won't talk to me." Ayu continue to said with tears. "I know because you all still feel sad mom is not here but so am I! I just don't get why none of you guys would like to talk about it with me."

Was it because like father like son? Both of them have unknowingly choose the same actions, they decided to bottle up their grief and sadness to themselves instead of sharing it. Was it because they think that it better to contain the pain rather than spread it? Was it due to weakness? Selfishness? Surely there are many way to interpret how one deal with these indescribable pain of the heart. It is clear now to both Yuchi and Kyo, there were better way they could have handled this. After all, their actions were the big reason leading to Ayu resort to listen to a words of a stranger who used the pain of her heart.

"Sorry Ayu, I understand, you just want everything to go back to the way they were, just like us." Kyo said full of regret.

The man hugged both his daughter and his son, try to encircle both of them despite missing one hand. Both of his children understanding this, lean to their father to make the hug possible.

"Hah...Ayu-chan, I know the pain of losing your mother is unbearable." Chris said understandingly, gaining the attention of the Hayashi's family. "But at the very least you still have your brother and father, which I'm sure they know now to not just leave you alone anymore, right?"

Her questions words were heavily accentuated and both the man of the family nodded rapidly. They would have to be idiot to not understand the hint, that and their instinct warn them of an impending doom when facing with a righteous female fury.

"I understand." Ayu said, her expression has a guilty look. "But...about the...monster."

The girl has no other way to view the Yummy now after seeing what it did to other bystander in its fight against the Noises.

"Heh...just leave it to me, that thing that dared to use your heart? Oneechan will crush it for you." Chris said with a confident smirk,

Crushing the monster is the only way she know how to cheer up the little girl.

"B...But how?" Ayu asked in wonder.

"Heh, just watch." Chris said, walking away from the family and then, she start to sing. "Killer Ichaival tron."

The Hayashi family have to cover their faces due to the intense wind kicked up surrounding Yukine Chris, followed by a bright flash of light that caged the silver haired girl. After few seconds the wind and light died down and when the family look at her again, Chris is already clad in her Ichaival Symphogear.

"Wow..." Ayu muttered. "You look so cool Oneechan." She said in awe.

The Ichaival Wielder smirked in response.

"Just wait, those pestering Noises and the monster that used your heart, I will kick their butts in minutes." Chris promised. "Stay safe."

With that the girl take a high leap, easily hundred feet up, as she head toward where OOO is fighting both the Yummy and the Noises.

"Go break a leg Onee-chan!" Yuchi cheered.

"She singing?" Kyo muttered in a daze.

Today has really been a long day for the man.

Back at the Rider, he is admittedly struggling. As mentioned, the Rikugame Yummy was one of the tougher one, its power can be said to be just below a Greeed with five Core Medals, at least that's what OOO estimated consider two of his Combos was still overpowered by the Yummy back when he first fought him. Plus with Poseidon's Yummy tend to be stronger and the monster already fulfilling its host desire, this Rikugame Yummy might actually be stronger than its previous incarnation.

And while OOO himself isn't the same as he is year ago when he first starting out, it doesn't mean he can take care this level of foe easily, especially when he still not in a condition to use another Combo yet. Not with how he spammed them just day ago against Poseidon, then there are the wounds inflicted on his body that hasn't fully healed yet. Adding to the fact the Noises, must because of Fine's order, has now start to work with the Yummy that were slaughtering them second ago.

With the Noises act as distraction, the Yummy managed to score multiple heavy hits on OOO. The Rider tried to went for a swipe of his claw only for the tortoise monster to grabbed his arm, easily stopping the strike. Just when the multicolored Rider try to bring out his Medaljalibur with his other hand, few of the Noises swing their tentacles at OOO, binding his other hand. Without giving the Rider a chance to free himself, the Rikugame Yummy slammed its bulky fist, engulfed in gray energy, right at OOO's abdomen, knocking the wind out of him. This was quickly followed by a right hook into the Rider's face, flinging him back like a rag doll.

"Agrh!" OOO grunted in pain as he rolled to the ground.

Before he can even try to get up, multiple Noises pulled a suicide attack, turning themselves to a tendril and launched themselves straight at OOO, colliding against him and break apart as the result, but they also managed to deal another blown the downed Rider. He let out another grunt of pain, his armor's defense did it job of fending off all the fatal damage but with this level of course the blow can still be felt heavily. OOO feel like someone is beating him with a hammer relentlessly, but that is still far from enough to take the experienced Rider down. Already he is back to his feet, despite struggling for a bit.

"Still though, any chance you guys come at me one at a time?" OOO joked to levity the situation, of course there is no reason for the Noises or the Yummy to comply, who are already rushing at him simultaneously again. "Yeah I thought so." He sighed.

However, just as OOO thinking about should he push himself for another Combo, rain of bullets fall on top of the advancing monsters, destroying some of the Noises while making the Rikugame Yummy grunted in pain, halting the monster in his charge.

"Heh, I leave you alone for few minutes and you already getting beaten up? Seriously where is all the energy you always show go?" Chris asked haughtily.

Yet already she is moving in front of the Rider in a stance that other can interpret as protectively.

"Thanks, Chris-chan, I would have been in a tough spot there without you." OOO said gratefully.

"Hehehe." Chris said, rubbing her nose in a proud manner. "Well one of us have to do something." She said jokingly. "Wounded one shouldn't push himself too much." However the moment she finished her sentence, OOO already rushed forth. "Oi! Are you deaf?" She asked comically.

"Now that I have you to give me the fire support, I won't have to worry right?" OOO asked like it is natural.

"Urgh, you have some guts to talk so big given your condition. Fine! I'm not someone who would argue with a patient anyway." Chris said with a savage grin. "Don't complain if you got hit by a stray bullet!"

A stray thought passed by Chris, who has started to have someone she can entrust her back to on the battlefield recently. This is not a bad feeling at all.

As the same time, Tachibana Hibiki who is already clad in her Gungnir is dispatched against the other Noises around the city, despite fighting by herself, the cream haired girl find that taking on these number of Noises have become much easier. With a focused punch, more than dozen of the Noises scattered to the wind as carbon dust.

"This is really nothing compare to fight I have against Chris-chan." Hibiki marveled at her outstretched fist. Another horde of Noises tried to catch the girl off-guard right at this moment, however she quickly sidestepped them and deliver a quick roundhouse kick, sending them flying. "All these moves would have been barely work as a warm-up against her yet it helping me handle the Noises like nothing." She mutter in realization.

Her teacher, Kazanari Genjuro, heard this through their communication link let out a chuckle.

"That's what happened when you managed to force yourself through an incredible challenge." Genjuro said. "Usually one own skill can be hone through practice and training but what really help with one own breakthrough for their strength is an intense real battle, one that can't just be recreated in training. And in your case, we haven't even taken into account your extraordinary circumstances as one who bear the Gungnir and having to face foe with similar level, the result is..."

"You got multiple level up as one from a Level One for somehow managed to survive a mid-boss! Good job Hibiki-chan!" Sakurai Ryoko chimed in right at the last moment.

"You deliberately choose that moment didn't you?"

Genjuro said, giving his friend a dry look.

"Hehehe, blame yourself for getting lost in your long winded speech, my friend."

Ryoko said with a grin, giving him a peace sign.

"I understand, I must be sure to thanks Chris-chan when I saw her again!"

Hibiki energetically declared as she uppercut a Noises up to the sky.

Back toward Kamen Rider OOO and the Ichaival's Wielder, the former once again meet the Rikugame Yummy in battle. Medaljalibur meet scaled limb, as the Rider swung his blade and the monster blocked it with its arm. Despite swinging with all his strength, the monster didn't bulk, if anything OOO feel his hand ring from the impact.

On the other hands, any Noises tried to interfere was quickly dispatched by Chris.

[BILLION MAIDEN!]

The silvernette's pair of chain guns spit out deadly rain of bullets at the Noises, anywhere she point her gun at, that spot is filled with Noises dust. Ironically, the Yummy has given a great help with its prior rampage against the Noises, making the number of Noises went down drastically from around 100 to at most 30 left. Thus it didn't take long for the Billion Maiden's barrage to taken care of all the left over Noises.

Then Chris point her guns at the Yummy's back. The bullets struck the tortoise monster, however unlike the Noises, it didn't go down after the rain of bullet from the Ichaival. But it wasn't for naught either, the assault clearly hurt the Yummy as it growled in pain from the surprise attack. Not to mention this make the monster faltered, giving OOO a chance to deliver a X shaped slash on the monster's chest with his sword.

Despite the heavy damage it sustained the Yummy is not yet defeated, if anything the fact the attacks started to pierce through its tough hide just make the Yummy more savage. Just like the line of Greeed it spawn from. Gamel, the one who is undoubtedly strongest among all the Greeed when it come to his raw strength. While definitely nowhere near its originator level, the Rikugame Yummy was still strong enough to go against a Combo easily. So this situation just make it fought back even harder, with a stomp to the ground, an earthquake shake in the small vicinity, making both OOO and Chris wobbled.

Using this chances, the Rikugame Yummy withdraw its limb to its body and perform it signature spin dash. Chris seeing this, started firing again but the bullets all got deflected when it hit the spinning Yummy. In fact, some of the shot get deflected back at Chris and OOO directly, making both of them have to brought up their chain gun and sword respectively as a way to block the stray shot.

"Argh! You gotta be kidding me! That ridiculous move actually repelled Ichaival's bullets!?" Chris growled incredulously.

"Chris-chan, you need to use something with more explosive forces in it! Think you can do that?" OOO asked.

The Rider barely rolled out of the way as he speak when the Yummy spin past him, tried to slam into the Rider.

"Oh you did not just ask me that." Chris muttered with a challenging grin. "I just didn't think it worth the effort but now you said that, I guess I need to remind you again why Ichaival is the best." She said confidently.

"Alright, I will give you the chance then." OOO said with a chuckle.

The Rider then make a quick switch of Medals, he won't go for a Full Combo. Instead, since he fully understand his opponent this time around, OOO has confidence if it to stall for time he can achieve that result by using a Random Combo. He swipe his OOO Scanner just as the Yummy about to rush at him again.

[SHACHI! KUJAKU! CHEETAH!]

The energy field formed between OOO and the Rikugame Yummy, repelling its charge. Just as the Yummy about to resume its charge, OOO's Shachi helmet shoot out a stream of water, not a direct hit, rather on the ground. This make it so slippery the tortoise monster crashed to a building instead at its intended target. Walking out of the building more confused than actually hurt, the Yummy growled then try to go for a hook punch instead. However, OOO with his Cheetah leg dodge out of the way then fired multiple fireball with the Taja Spinner at the Yummy's back, further pissing it off.

Just as it was about to chase after OOO, the Yummy realized a grave mistake it has made.

[MEGA DETH QUARTET!]

It has focused entirely on the Kamen Rider and ignored the existence of Yukine Chris, the wielder of Ichaival. Thus it has to paid for that mistake by being a target of several giant missile honing in on it. The Yummy quickly retracted its limb to take on its sheltered form that maximize its defense, hoping this is enough to endure one of the Ichaival's strongest attack. Usually this move would require Chris to take some time to charge up, thankfully all the time she need was provided to her by OOO playing the bait.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

And the attack proven its deserve the time needed to charge it, despite the powerful defense the Yummy boast that can go against a Combo, it was still not enough to handle all four giant missile launched by the Ichaival. The explosion knocked the Yummy to its back, with its armor cracked and broken, the Rikugame Yummy show how strong it was by still being able to survive the devastating attack and perhaps would have been able to get away if given a chance.

[SCANNING CHARGE!]

Too bad that chance never arrived, OOO charge forth using his Cheetah leg, his Shachi helmet constantly shot multiple water bullet pinning the Yummy down and as a finishing touch the Rider punch forth with the Taja Spinner engulfed in flame. His strike rip through the weakened monster's chest, making it explode to a rain of Cell Medals.

OOO managed to gather few of them then the rest of them flew away. With a sigh of relief he jogged up to Chris,

"Thanks Chris-chan, as expected your Ichaival has the fire power needed to break that tough shell." OOO said, but then he noticed the weird out look the girl is giving him. "What's wrong?"

"So? Do those water come out of your mouth directly or..." Chris asked, a bit grossed out.

"It from the armor itself, no way I can hold all those water now can I!?" OOO asked incredulously.

"Ah! Found you!"

A familiar voice called out, moment later OOO was tackled to the ground, the impact was so strong that dust kicked up.

"Another enemy!?" Chris asked in alarm, however the dust clear, her cautious expression give way to incredulous. "You...what the heck are you doing?"

That's because she realized the one who managed to tackled OOO to the ground is none other than Tachibana Hibiki in her Gungnir Gear with an angry pout.

"Ahahaha...impressive strength Hibiki-chan." OOO muttered in daze, the man swear he can see the stars right now.

"Ah, I didn't take into account of the Gungnir!" Hibiki exclaimed in embarrassment, however that quickly gave way to harmless anger again. "But still! Eiji-kun! You get into such a fight yet you didn't even bother to let me know? You know I would have been here if the Noises attack!" She exclaimed with worry and annoyance.

The cream haired girl been destroying the Noises left and right as she make her way here, the fight between OOO and Chris against the Yummy hasn't been quiet. It clear to the cream haired girl where the biggest threat is, so she rushed here as fast as she could after managed to take care of the left over Noises. Faraway she managed to see OOO's struggle against the Yummy which worried the girl, to her Eiji still couldn't afford to pull a Full Combo recklessly and by the time she reached them the fight has been over, hence the reason for the girl's righteous fury against the Rider.

"My bad, it actually slipped my mind." OOO said, clapping his hand together in an apologetic gesture.

Though that turn out to be a wrong thing to said.

"You forgot? Eiji-kun that's mean!" Hibiki punched him on the chest repeatedly, albeit she not really using her strength. "You make it sound like I'm not that important!"

"Ah that's not what I mean I swear." OOO pleaded.

"Ah-hem." Chris coughed, without bothering to hide the fact she faking it. "If you two comedy duo are done, there's a family I would like to check on now." She asked with an annoyed frown.

That's right, something about this sight annoyed her. Chris has an inkling idea why, but she has no time right now to dwell too much into it.

"But even if you do, would you dare to think you have the luxury to think about it, Yukine Chris?"

A traitorous thought formed in the silver haired girl's mind, but she quickly shook it off.

"Chris-chan!" Hibiki exclaimed seeing the girl as she quickly stood up,. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you, it just Eiji-kun was being such a big dummy."

She said, sending a side way glance at OOO who can only sweat-drop.

"Heh." Chris snorted, turning her head away from Hibiki. "On that we agree, he is definitely a handful. Someone who poke his nose where it doesn't belong, sort of like you." She said, crossing her arms.

She still can't understand how Hibiki can just treat her so chummily despite all the crap Chris put the cream haired girl through.

"Hehehe I know right, but that's just how he is." Hibiki said, her smile now soft. "And you have decided to fight against the Noises and Yummy to protect other now, right Chris-chan?" She asked.

"Tch...I would be worse than trash if at this point I don't realize the mess I make." Chris grumbled.

The girl feel she didn't have the right to put up any big front when it come to these matter. However, the other person clearly didn't share the same idea.

"Don't said that about yourself!" Hibiki exclaimed, then grabbed Chris hands, surprising her. "You were struck with tragedies after tragedies and only did what you believe is right." She said, her gaze grew somber. "Of course, I can't said those actions are right, the Noises has hurt a lot of people, however, I believe you never once wanted for anybody to suffer."

Hibiki said confidently, with a fierce gaze locked on to Chris's own.

"You...how stupid, do you know who you are talking to?" Chris said with a hint of guilt, pulling her hand free from Hibiki. "If anything you are at the top of the list of people who has the right to condemn me you know? Don't you understand I would have been fine with...with killing you if it mean I can realize my dream back then!?" She asked desperately.

"Hehehe...well too bad I was tougher than you thought I guess, so I am fine." Hibiki said with a sheepish smile, once again surprising Chris. "And I always have a headache if thinking about 'what-if' too much anyway so I would rather not." She said with a carefree tone, then she gave the silvernette a kind gaze. "So let's just focus on the fact that we are not enemy anymore and my offer still stand, let's talk it out Chris-chan. What is it that you want to do, how can I help, or just anything really." She said.

"What the..." Chris muttered, looking at Hibiki like she is insane, no the girl definitely is. Yet it is not disgust, no, she can never harbor such feeling against the cream haired girl anymore, rather it more like amazement. "How the heck can you think like that?"

"I told you before right? I want to get to know you Chris-chan, I believed we can talk it out to understand each other and be friend. It simply mean I haven't change my intention at all." Hibiki said like it is a natural way to think.

On the side Eiji can't help but chuckle, he think Kisaragi Gentarou and Tachibana Hibiki would get along very well for sure. This does make him wonder, for someone so kind like her, to be able to hate somebody, just how deep is that wound in her heart got to be then.

"You...I can't just...argh never mind. Sorry but I don't have time for this, like I said, I have to check on some people." Chris said, giving up as she turn around and leave.

The cream haired girl tilted her head curiously as she turn toward Eiji.

"Did I eh, weird her out?" Hibiki asked awkwardly.

The man shook his head.

"No, if anything Chris-chan probably expected something more intense instead of being forgiven by you, that's all." Eiji said with an amused expression.

"Ah I see, that said, Eiji-kun." Hibiki said with a closed eyes smile that send shiver down Eiji's spine. "It seems like you enjoyed yourself the whole day eh?"

Hino wondered to himself, just moment prior he was thinking what could make such a kind girl angry and now he seems to got his answer. And it is he himself? Admittedly, the young man didn't think his absence for a day would manage to get such an effect out of his friend!

"Hibiki-chan, you are scaring me there, I don't think I ever see you smile like that? Did I...did I do something wrong?" Eiji asked hesitantly with a strained smile.

"Heh, you asking me? Then that must mean Eiji-kun did nothing wrong right? Since he doesn't seems to be able to think of anything." Hibiki hummed 'happily'?

"Nope, she is definitely not happy. But I still have no idea what she upset about!" Eiji thought frantically.

At times like this only one thing to do.

"Ah! That's right, I also would like to check on the Hayashi's family too! They might be hurt from the Noises attack!" Eiji exclaimed.

"Hm? Someone could be hurt, then let's check on them right away!" Hibiki urged.

Bless the girl's kind soul, regardless of what she feeling, she would always prioritize someone's safety first. Of course, Eiji technically lied...a bit! He known for sure the Hayashi's family is safe where he left them, still better safe than sorry. And also it a good way to divert the topic while he get more time to figure out what she angry at him about!

"Everything is over, that monster isn't tie to you anymore. It best that you guys forget all about this mess, it safer for you all that way."

Chris said to the Hayashi's family.

In response, the father give a grateful nod toward the silvernette. At this point he understand this girl isn't just some simple foreigner, but that matter not to him. What important is that she is part of the reason his family is safe, it was like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulder. The fact he and his children could have lost their life today was still so surreal to the family.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble." Ayu said with tears in her eyes.

"Oi, don't apology, I told you, it wasn't your fault. It was a really low move to use you while you are hurting like that." Chris said with a heavy frown.

The girl now know for sure, she is angry with Fine. The woman has crossed a line she shouldn't have and while Chris has no right to judge, she will still give it her all to stop her former benefactor. She has no delusion nor shameful enough to think she a hero now, this is just the least she can do to make up for all the pain she has caused.

"Chris-kun is right, you not at fault Ayu. I just hope from incident you know that I will listen to whatever you have to said. It was my fault for making you hesitate to do so anyway." Kyo said with a sigh, looking both at his kids with an ashamed expression. "I was too cowardly to face both of you after your mother's passing. I...I thought as long as I can hide the pain I feel from both of you, then I did my job as your father but...that wasn't the case."

Thinking back, was it really that strange his parent and his in law family suggested if he want to send his kids to them? Clearly they saw how unreliable he was right from the beginning.

"Tou-chan isn't a coward!" Yuchi denied, he is still a young child who would have trouble to offer a long winded speech with deep meaning words, but one thing is clear to the boy. "You are not!" And the fact he can said it with so much conviction is enough already.

"Tou-chan, I'm wrong. I shouldn't have hide things from you. Please don't yell at yourself." Ayu said timidly.

She isn't as vocal as her brother, but her thought is the same as him.

"You two...I..." Kyo said, holding back the tears in his eyes.

"Ah geez, you guys are clearly fine. This doesn't feel like something I should hang around for so I'm out of here." Chris said, scratching her cheek awkwardly then turn around to leave, she then paused. "Still, I'm an outsiders and I can still clearly see this...your children love you, so man up for them. Instead of apologize, just...be there for them more and do better. Goodbye." With her piece said, Chris continue walking.

"You right. I should have realized that sooner. Thankfully, thankfully it isn't too late yet." Kyo said with a tone of realization.

But then Chris halted in her step when she heard tiny footsteps followed her, turning around she saw it the pair of siblings who ran up to her.

"You kids..."

"Thank you Onee-chan! You are so cool!" Ayu said, giving a deep bow. "Thanks to you everyone is safe and I'm free from the monster!"

The little girl now know for sure that is the best way to describe the Yummy and nothing else, to her Fine is not a fairy godmother but a witch who tricked her.

"Yeah, you are awesome! I'm so glad I get to meet you, hey is there a way for me to fight the Noises like you do when I'm older!?" Yuchi asked excitedly.

"Eh...I don't think that's possible?" Chris replied unsure.

In the first place she is an expert with her Gear and how to use it, but not all the technical detail around how it work. Sure she know about the symphonic wave needed to activate the Gear, the wavelength and all the basic stuff but whether a boy can use the Gear? She doesn't think so, the fact all the Gear Users up to this point has been a girl is a proof of that. Surely if male can also activate Relic then either the 2nd Division or Fine would have given it a try already.

"Hahaha that's right, as if Onii-chan can be a Magical Girl!" Ayu declared smugly. "If anything I can do it right?" She asked in interest.

"Huh? A Magical Girl?" Chris muttered incredulously, admittedly if she entertained the idea she can see how this little girl got that conclusion but she is interpreting the silvernette's words way too different from what she is thinking. "That isn't exactly the reason why, and no you can't either, it just too dangerous okay? It best if you guys forget all about this." She said with an exhausted sigh. "Beside, isn't important that you guys can live with your father in peace? You need to treasure the family you have." Chris said wistfully.

The two children didn't fully comprehend the complicated mood Yukine is in, so they just answered her questions naturally.

"Of course I love my family, but that doesn't mean I can forgive the Noises. They take my mother away." Yuchi said sadly and angrily.

"The Noises can keep hurting us, so...it will be cool if we can protect ourselves against them like you."

Ayu said, sharing the same feeling has her brother.

Hearing this, Chris gripped her fist tightly. The conflicting emotions that has been welling inside of her ever since she know this family has finally been unified to one answer. However does she has the right to said the words contain those emotions?

No!

"Like I said, stop worrying about those things, just live your life treasure the family you still have left." Chris said, gaining steel in her eyes.

It isn't a right.

"As for the Noises..."

It an obligation, a duty she has to fulfill.

"...just leave them to me, they won't be a problem to you guys anymore, I swear it." Chris vowed, leaving no room of argument.

"Can you really do it Onee-chan?" Ayu asked in awe.

"Yeah, you bet." Chris said.

"Then...let's make it a pinky promise." Ayu said, rise up said finger.

Chris look surprised for a moment then let out an amused smile.

"Sure."

The silvernette then locked her pinky with the little girl.

"Urgh...I...I still want to be able to defeat the Noises...but I'll trust your words Onee-chan, fight hard!" Yuchi exclaimed. "Don't you dare give up now that you make this promise to us." He said energetically.

"Heh, you sure ask a lot brat, but then again I the one who make the promise, so I'm not gonna back down from it." Chris said with a grin.

The girl then tussled the young boy's hair much to his annoyance.

Later, to avoid the eyes of the 2nd Division who escorted the family away, Yukine hid behind a building watching them depart with Hino and Tachibana also next to her as well.

"Those kids...I really hope I have make them forget about their hatred for the Noises but it is impossible for them to get over it completely huh?" Chris said in a subdued tone.

"It's to be expected. They still have a long life ahead, in life you won't find a final answer right away. Rather it is a struggle of day by day that either make you keep that answers or adopt it...it sound tough but that also what make life special." Eiji said encouragingly.

"Heh I suppose so, guess I went ahead and make a pretty big promise, would be unacceptable to cop out now to those kids." Chris said with a resolved and relieved tone. "My sins hasn't decreased at all...but I feel like I finally can see a bit of what the path ahead should be."

"I'm happy for you Chris-chan." Hibiki said with a content smile, gaining Chris's attention. "Back when we still have to fight against each other, you look...uncomfortable, so it's great you can said these words with such a carefree smile." She said happily.

Stunned by the cream haired girl's words, Yukine reached up to her lips and sure enough she can feel a smile subconsciously formed on her lips. It quickly give way to an annoyed frown as the girl coughed into her hand embarrassed much to Hibiki and Eiji's amusement.

"Alright, enough already. What are you doing following us anyway?" Chris asked.

The silvernette show an annoyed expression to hide an anxiety she feel as she face another of her past victim, albeit this one is more hard headed and definitely wasn't afraid to fight back. A fact that Chris feel very grateful for as she is now, not that she will ever said it out loud.

"Eh!? W...Why can't I tag along? What are you guys doing hang out by yourselves only?" Hibiki asked with a pout.

Despite the one she talking to is Chris, for some reason Hibiki's pouted glare was aimed at Eiji. The man, who has just defeated a powerful Yummy along with some Noises moment prior, find himself at a mercy of a pouting teenage girl. He kind of glad Ankh isn't here right now, the Greeed's mocking laughter no doubt is the last thing he need.

However, the fun and joking atmosphere didn't last long. Since at that moment a rather familiar scene to Hibiki happened, multiple man in black suit, who she now known work for the 2nd Division, appeared and surrounded them. Their gaze focused specifically on Yukine Chris.

"I'm getting dejavu." Hibiki muttered.

"And who are you guys suppose to be?" Chris asked with a frown.

Seeing this, Eiji can't help but thought this girl is someone who is more confident when face with adversary rather than those who care for her. It kind of refreshing, really. Still doesn't change the fact he doesn't think a fight between her and the staff of the 2nd Division is a good idea though, perhaps they can talk this out?

"Yukine Chris, Ichaival Wielder, for your relation to the attack of the Noises and various act of terrorism, you are under arrest." One of the man in black suit said with a stoic expression.

…Perhaps not.

"And Chris's grin just get more sharp, yeah definitely not good."
