More Than A One Time Thing?

Lucy leaves her boyfriend after finding him cheating on her. She goes back to her hometown Magnolia and meets someone who was only meant to be a one night stand. Bickslow, wanting more out of his life, meets someone who he wanted as more than a one nighter. This is an AU. Warning: Very Mature Audience

7. Revamping

Hey there! Hope all is well with everyone.

Me, I'm good but after rereading this story I decided to do a little bit of revamping. At some point I will be deleting chapters from 2 on and reposting them. It won't be soon, I just hope the reviews won't be deleted along with them.

It would be nice if editing would be simple as it is on AO3. Unless I'm missing something… Honestly I've come to learn that I prefer AO3, it is less complicated to navigate, but I will remain here as well for those that don't use that site.

So, please remain patient. I have been working on this and I'm prouder of this one than the others and have put in a lot of work into it. I got a binder with notes and half of it contains material for this story. It might have to do with the fact I have to paint more of a picture of the world I've created in my head. Some of the places are real, for example, The Seven Dragons Buffet does exist in the city (one so little I don't understand how it's considered a city) I live in but there's no dragons on the outside though. That was my own little touch.

A couple of other examples: There is someone in the area I live that does wood carving, they have some very awesome work displayed in their yard. Outside of city limits there is a furniture store of home crafted items.

Until then check out my others. They are short and not written as well as this but they're not horrible. I could be being biased though.

Side Note: I would try to find a way to put music in every chapter but I'm nowhere near as good as others adding it in to set the mood. I do attempt it in The Thunder God and The Celestial Goddess. It's meh. I'll get there. Any way here are a couple for this story:

The Interrupters – Gave You Everything (Debated on adding this to chapter 2 when Lucy is headed to her hometown, belting it out in her car. Decided against it but may add later. Who knows…)

Stone Sour – Song #3 (Also might add this later.)

AC/DC – Shook Me All Night Long (This appears in chapter 4? I do have Lucy jamming out to it.)

I think that's it. I didn't even mean to write all of that. It was so supposed to be something short and sweet. Ah well.
