The last time a human was seen outside of the Virgo supercluster, Phil hadn't even hatched yet. For all intents and purposes, there should never be a human outside of that border. There shouldn't be, but Phil was looking at one.

Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy accepted a job to collect a legendary weapon from a ruined castle, abandoned decades ago by its power-hungry nobility. They did not expect this weapon to be a person, trained with the sole purpose of serving in their master's wars. Faced with a man who has lost all concept of being anything but a weapon, they decide to take The Blade home.

What to do with a man who carries the end times in his veins? How to deal with their voice? Or: Techno is the harbinger of the apocalypse, an immortal who will destroy the world if he is freed. And thus he is kept in chains.

Tommy is an ancient vampire. He has watched as humans made the same mistakes over and over again, and flipped off at least a vampire hunter or three. But he has never seen the kind of devotion this family shows for each other. It is dangerous to get attached to things - especially mortal things - at Tommy's age.

Techno makes a friend, tries to get his pod a gift, and ends up beached. Not really in that order.

A one-shot

Tommy had to have noticed how worn out both his father and older brother had been. Maybe he was bored since they couldn't give him as much attention as they used to. Maybe Tommy was just acting out. Techno didn't know. All he did know, was that he didn't have time to entertain Tommy's silly stories about a person the size of a hamster living in their walls.
