"So, Sakamannano seems to be doing rather well." A producer told another producer as the two looked at the ratings for the season, "Looks like a few more good episodes and the sequel will be able to go off without a hitch."
The other producer looked at the chart, "Our ratings jumped high during the Intern's episode, as well as the Shark Hunting challenge, both of which didn't feature Drew as the main host." The producer noticed the spike in ratings on those episodes.
"Well, to be fair, those were both big events, King had his shark attack and the interns gave us a longer episode than normal." The first producer explained the spikes, "Of course they attracted more people."
"Are you sure it isn't that people aren't too interested in Drew as a host?" The second producer questioned, "A lot of reviews mentioned they liked the change in style."
"Positive." The first producer replied, "They like the sudden change because it's something new and isn't permanent, but if we just handed off our host and never had him show up again, we'd get people non-stop begging for him to come back and our viewership would go down."
The second producer thought for a moment, "Maybe we should try changing things up again, bring in a new host for an episode."
"Now where would we-"
The first producer was cut off by Frozen Rock Stewie bursting through the wall of the office, "You needed a new host for the season?"
"There's a door." The first producer points over to the door that was right next to the hole Stewie left in the wall.
"We do." The second producer stepped in, "We need something that'll catch some viewer's attention so they'll watch the episode, and you've been on the show a few times, so you should try taking over for an episode."
Stewie laughed, "That'll be easy as pie, how hard could running that show be?"
The first producer sighed, "Well we weren't both in agreement, and the others sure weren't, but fine, let's try this little ratings trap out." The producer groaned with annoyance.
"I'll just take over the next episode before it can even start, I can't wait to see the look on Drew's face when I get to do his job for a day." Stewie grinned at the thought.
"Uh uh," The second producer stopped him, "It's gotta be for a big event, something to really catch our audience off guard."
The first producer nodded, "I do agree with that, if we're to change up the formula it should be an episode to really hook the audience in,"
"So what episode would that be?" Stewie questioned.
The second producer got a slight smile, "Well, I've got a little idea on which episode we can try..."
