Screams could be heard from the citizens of Gotham, as the mysterious force with the rainbow colored R as their moniker kept on pushing the Gotham Police department back from Gotham Bay! It was clear to everyone that this mysterious Force had a foothold on Gotham Bay, and they weren't going to give it up anytime soon!
At the front lines, commissioner James Gordon was trying to reach out to the outside world, but it quickly became clear to him that these Invaders, whoever they were cut off contact with the outside world! Which was made even more apparent by the fact that all of Gotham was covered by a mysterious black cloud that appeared out of nowhere!
"Sir!"said detective Harvey Bullock as he approached commissioner Gordon."The men are quickly getting overrun! We keep shooting our guns at these creatures, but they're tough! Some take a lot to go down, while others don't go down at all as their skin is like bulletproof armor!"
"That's not what I want to hear, Harvey!"said commissioner Gordon."What's the status of getting contact with the outside world?"
"That's the thing sir! It's like there's a giant wall around the city as no one can get in or out!"said detective Bullock, who looks scared and confused.
"What do you mean?"inquired the police commissioner.
"We sent a team to try to get out of Gotham, but they just ended up on another Street in Gotham! It's like that movie where you couldn't leave the fog no matter how hard you tried! This, with all due respect, this is a damn nightmare! I never thought I see a rat the size of a dog!"said detective Bullock, who look like he was going to have a mental breakdown at any moment.
That is one commissioner Gordon slapped him across the face, before grabbing him by his jacket and pulling him close.
"Listen to me, Bullock! We have to retreat as we're getting over run!"said commissioner Gordon, surprising many of the police officers around him, including detective Bullock.
"Sir, are you sure that's a good idea?"inquired detective Bullock.
"The citizens have already been evacuated! And if we stay here any longer, we're going to be overrun! We have no choice but to take a tactical retreat! We can't have any more of our men disappear!"said commissioner Gordon, as it was clear to him that these Invaders had the advantage.
This was because they have already cut through many of the police force, and although it was strange, they didn't appear to be killing anyone. No, it seems like they prefer capturing people alive for some nefarious purpose later on. At least that's what the Police commissioner suspects as he's had reports of citizens being dragged away in handcuffs towards the large Castle.
"They plan to turn us into slaves, Bullock! And I for one will not be turned into a slave, even if it means death! Now let's get out of here before they launch another attack!"said commissioner Gordon, before looking over at everyone of his men to indicate that he was giving all of them the same order.
"Yes, sir!"said the police officers nearby, before they begin to launch a tactical retreat.
Meanwhile, inside the castle on man was petting some kind of large cat. His face was covered in Shadow as he was watching various monitors from what appeared to be a throne room. Soon one of the people wearing a uniform with a big rainbow colored R on the front answer the room.
"Sir! We has successfully forced the police department to retreat! We have also captured many of the citizens of the city for slave labor!"said the individual as he saluted the person who was facing the monitors, not even bothering the face them.
"Excellent! Soon the city will be ours, and everything it has to offer will belong to Team Rainbow Rocket!"said the leader of Team Rainbow Rocket, while he was facing the monitors.
Suddenly the tiny screens turn into one as an image of a female member of Team Rainbow Rocket appeared on the screen.
"Sir. We have reports of a black armored vehicle approaching the castle! Several of our men have already been incapacitated! What are your orders?"inquired the female grunt.
"Focus our attention on that vehicle and it's driver. He or she is clearly trying to defy Team Rainbow Rocket. We cannot allow him or her to continue as any signs of resistance will encourage the remaining citizens of this city to rise against us! Stamp out this sign of rebellion, before it grows!"ordered the leader of Team Rainbow Rocket.
"Yes, sir!"said the female Rainbow Rocket grunt, before the monitor change back into many different screens.
"So someone wants to challenge me? Interesting."said the leader with a huge grin on his face, as this mysterious rebel has gained his interest.
Meanwhile, on the streets of Gotham the batmobile was driving through every barricade Team Rainbow Rocket had set up around Gotham Bay! Various creatures under the command of Team Rainbow Rocket started launching their attacks at the batmobile, with a vehicle in question barely able to withstand the onslaught of flame and electricity being shot at it!
Batman, the driver of the batmobile was having a hard time out maneuvering the relentless attacks from the creature outside. The batmobile wasn't a vehicle that could withstand so many attacks and not get destroyed! It was clear to him that whoever these people were, this attack was well thought out and planned as it's only been about half an hour since they arrived, and they have already forced the GPD back, captured many citizens, and have gained a firm foothold of Gotham City!
It was clear to him that whoever was leading these people, he or she was a genius!
The only thing Batman could not understand is why this invading force was trying so hard not to kill civilians. Instead, they were forcing citizens to surrender willingly or unwillingly with some of them...it was only the very stubborn ones that ended up getting cut down. Most citizens decided to get willingly captured, and they were taking back to the mysterious castle that was acting as their fortress and main base of operation.
'I can only guess they have other plans for the citizens of Gotham!' thought Batman, feeling like this group had other plans for the people they were capturing, and that's why they were being taken alive!
Meanwhile, outside the batmobile, the members of Team Rainbow Rocket were getting increasingly frustrated with the driver of the mysterious black vehicle that was driving closer and closer to their base of operations! To them, he was either severely stupid or a madman as no one in their right mind would really drive into enemy territory and relentlessly get attacked!
"Weezing, use explosion!"ordered several Team Rainbow Rocket grunts, causing several purple creatures consisting of two spherical heads connected by a thin tube with another sphere in the center to approach
The heads have different sizes and features. The left head is larger and has prominent eyebrows, pointed teeth protruding from its lower jaw, and two flat teeth in its upper jaw. The smaller, right head simply has two pointed teeth, one at each corner of its mouth. The larger head has a cream-colored skull-and-crossbones marking below its face, while the smaller head has a ring marking instead. They are covered with many geyser-like protrusions, which expel what appears to be mustard-colored gases.
'This is not good!'thought Batman to himself as the creatures known as Weezing approached the batmobile without hesitation!
He was about to activate the batmobile's weapon systems, before he realized what those creatures were about to do! So, instead he pressed the injection button and launched himself out of the batmobile, just as the preachers known as Weezing became surrounded by energy, before they exploded! The batmobile was completely destroyed by the explosions! Batman on the other hand was unharmed as he landed safely in front of the castle!
"Who is that?!"questions one grunt.
"I don't know, but that's one scary costume!"said another grunt.
"Who cares! Let's take him down!"said a female grunt.
"Raticate, use bite!"ordered said female grunt, causing a large brown rat like creature the size of a pitbull to charge at Batman!
Batman didn't say anything as he turned around before delivering a roundhouse kick to the creature known as Raticate, causing said creature to be forcibly thrown back towards the person commanding it, knocking both to the ground!
"Arbok, use wrap!"ordered another grunt, causing a large purple, king cobra snake like creature to charge towards Batman with the intention of constricting him!
Batman responded by throwing several smoke bombs onto the ground, confusing the snake like creature as it looked for its Target! Arbok couldn't find Batman as the smoke cleared, as The Dark Knight had disappeared! This confused the snake like creature and the person commanding it as they looked for their target!
Before the grunt knew what was happening, he felt a tap on his shoulder. This made him turn around, only to get punched in the face by Batman, who had somehow gotten behind him! Next the Dark Knight went after the snake like creature. First Arbok tried to bite him, but Batman responded by punching the creature in the face. Arbok was knocked back, and before I had a chance to fight back, Batman through several explosive batarangs at it!
The batarang's exploded, covering the creature and smoke before it fell to the ground, revealing that it was knocked out!
'These creatures are tough!' thought Batman to himself as no normal creature could have taken such an explosion and just been knocked out.
Sure is batarang explosions were designed not to kill, but they should have done way more damage than what the snake like creature experienced.
"Who is this guy?"questions a grunt, wondering how I'm your human could take on their creatures without flinching.
"I don't know! Call for back up as we're going to need everyone for this guy!"said the female grunt, who up until earlier I've been busy recalling the rat like creature to a strange looking ball.
Meanwhile, inside the castle, the leader of Team Rainbow Rocket was watching everything unfold from the safety of his throne room. He watched as Batman took on several Pokemon at once! He incapacitated several Fearow, Arbok, Haunter, Crobat, etc! It was clear to the leader of the whole organization that this dark night that was fighting back was not any ordinary warrior! Instead of being upset that his men were being defeated one by one, he was actually amused by this as he got up.
"Persian, it appears that if you want something done right. You have to do it yourself."said the leader of Team Rainbow Rocket, before he left his throne room.
His cat like creature looking at him with confusion as it wondered why he was bothering with some small threat.
Outside of the castle, Batman had already defeated a large number of Team Rainbow Rocket grunts! Many or either knocked out or incapacitated! It was clear then that they had to call for backup, because they were not used to taking on someone of this guy's level!
"What do we do? He's already defeated so many of us!"said one grunt, noticing many of his comrades and his comrades Pokemon on the floor.
"I don't know! But we got to do something."said a female grunt that was holding her arm.
"You lot are really useless without me."said a voice that came from the castle, getting Batman's attention.
The Dark Knight turned around to see a middle-aged man wearing an expensive looking suit come out of the castle. The man in question had a sharp face. His brown hair with slicked back to make him look like a Mafia Boss. On his left breast pocket, he had the same rainbow colored R as the rest of them.
"Boss!"shouted the grunts who were not knocked out with joy.
"I'm guessing you're the leader."said Batman, as it was pretty obvious to him that this guy was the guy in charge.
Not only did the ones that were not knocked out called him boss, but he had an air of superiority around him that just indicated that he was the one in charge of this whole invasion!
"That is correct. I'm Giovanni, the leader of Team Rainbow Rocket!"said the now name Giovanni, identifying himself.
"Why are you invading Gotham?"asked Batman, figuring he should give the enemy the courtesy of explaining himself.
"I heard that this world has some amazing technology, and that the city that you call Gotham is full of it. We need said technology for our future plans! So coming here was obvious!"said Giovanni like it was obvious.
"That doesn't explain why you're trying so hard not to hurt the people you capture!"said Batman, who although grateful that a large number of people were not killed, it still didn't explain why most people were captured instead.
"Let's just say we need a lot of extra hands to build the machine I have envisioned."said Giovanni with a smirk.
"I won't let you!"said Batman as he threw a batarang.
Giovanni didn't even flinch as the batarang cut him across the cheek.
"Hmm..."said Giovanni as he inspected his cut cheek."An interesting toy."
This honestly surprised Batman as most criminals would have flinched as soon as something was thrown at them. But it was clear to the Dark Knight that this Giovanni character was confident enough to defeat him, at least to the point to not be afraid of the batarang.
"Now let me show you real power!"said Giovanni as he pulled out a purple ball with an M on the front.
"Mewtwo, I choose you!"said Giovanni as he threw the ball, causing the ball to open up and release a bipedal, humanoid creature with some feline features. It is primarily gray with a long, purple tail. On top of its head are two short, blunt horns, and it has purple eyes. A tube extends from the back of its skull to the top of its spine, bypassing its neck. It has a defined chest and shoulders, which resemble a breastplate. The three digits on each hand and foot have spherical tips. Its tail is thick at the base but thins before ending in a small bulb.
"What is that?"inquired Batman.
"Say hello to Mewtwo, the genetic Pokemon."said Giovanni with a smirk."Pokemon are the creatures we have been using to invade this world. Such powerful creatures that listen to anyone's command as soon as they're captured enough pokeball! Ha! And soon every single Pokemon will be under the command of Team Rainbow Rocket."
"We'll see about that!"shouted Batman, before he charged that Giovanni and Mewtwo.
"Use psychic."ordered Giovanni with a snap of his fingers.
This made me to point his hand towards Batman as his eyes began glowing. Batman soon found himself surrounded by psychic energy.
"Crush him!"ordered Giovanni, causing Mewtwo to throw Batman into the castle!
Batman felt several of his bones break as he was thrown into the first wall of the castle! He gritted his teeth in pain as he went through several more walls, with his costume getting ripped more and more with each wall he went through! As soon as was out of sight did the psychic attack dissipate.
"So... the attack is only effective when that creature can see me.' noticed Batman as he tried to get up.
"I don't think so!"said Giovanni, as he and Mewtwo came into the room.
"Mewtow, use drain punch!"ordered Giovanni, causing the genetic Pokemon to fly towards Batman before punching him in the gut with a green colored fist!
Batman felt then when getting knocked out of him as the punch was so hard, it ripped the fabric that was around his chest as he was thrown into another wall, causing him a world of pain as he fell back onto the floor!
That is when the Dark Knight felt energy get drained out of him and go directly into Mewtwo. He suspected that the name drain punch meant that a punch literally drains energy out of him.
"Ahhh!"said Batman defiantly, before he got up and threw several explosive batarangs at the creature.
The batarangs hit the genetic Pokemon and exploded exploded! To Batman's surprise, Mewtwo wasn't even scratched as the smoke dissipated.
"Ha! Your going to need more than that if you hope to defeat my Mewtwo!"said Giovanni mockingly.
"Ahhh!"said Batman, before he mustered all his energy and charged towards Mewtwo, punching the genetic Pokemon in the face!
Mewtwo actually made a noise as soon as it was punched, with its head realing back a bit.
"Impressive! It's not every day that Mewtwo can actually feel an attack. That must have been one amazing punch."said Giovanni, who was actually impressed.
"Now let's see how you handle this! Use psychic!"orders Giovanni, causing the genetic Pokemon to cover the Dark Knight with psychic energy, before he began footing him around the room like a rag doll!
Batman was hit on several sharp corners throughout the room, his outfit ripping more and more as he was thrown across wall after wall! Batman did his best to brace for impact, but that barely did anything to stop the pain as his cape was ripped off of his back! And most of his upper clothing had been ripped off, revealing his scratched and bloody chest!
"I must say, you are one impressive man."said Giovanni as Mewtwo floated Batman towards him.
"Most people would have begged me to stop by now, hut you, you just take it without so much as crying out in pain. I don't know what you been through, but it must have been a lot in order to withstand this level of pain."said Giovanni, who was impressed with Batman.
"Your not so tough without that creature protecting you..."said Batman, before he spatt at Giovanni's face with a bloody loogie.
Giovanni just smiled as he pulled out a handkerchief and wiped the bloody loogie off of his cheek.
"It's a shame we're on opposite sides. Your a man whose will will not break, and you have no idea how much I wish I had someone like that in my organization instead of the idiots outside. Oh well, idiots are easier to control."said Giovanni, who knew we couldn't be help as people like Batman would never willingly follow another.
"Ahh..."said Batman, before Mew to constricted him with his psychic power.
"I will tell you this! No man has the power to defeat Mewtwo, only another powerful Pokemon! It's a shame you're not a Pokemon trainer, otherwise the bottle could have gone differently."said Giovanni, who sounded like he was mocking Batman.
"Now, as much fun as I had with you. I have a city to conquer so I'll just have to escort you out of my castle. Mewtwo, throw him out!"ordered Giovanni, causing the genetic Pokemon to hoist Batman up into the air before he threw him through several more walls with his psychic power.
A few seconds later, a bloodied and beaten Batman was thrown out of the castle, before he began free falling down the castle wall. Batman look like he was close to passing out as all the pain that was coursing through his body felt like nothing he had ever felt before. He was used to being shot, stabbed, and being, but being tossed around by a rag doll by some kind of creature called the Pokemon was something new to him.
'If a Pokemon trainer is the only way to defeat you...Then a Pokemon trainer I will become...'thought Batman before he fell into the water of Gotham Bay, which was covered with the energy that Team Rainbow Rocket was using to enter the dimension.
The rainbow colored water surrounded the Dark Knight, before I said energy that was keeping the castle in his dimension teleported him to another!
Batman soon found himself falling through Ultra Space, passing out as he closed his eyes, with the last thing he saw was some kind of body of water breaking his fall.
Within moments, Batman's body floated in the water, causing some people to notice him and quickly calling for help.
All Batman could think about before he completely passed out with becoming a Pokemon trainer, and gathering the creatures he needed to use to defeat Giovanni and Mewtwo!
I've narrowed it down to Kanto, Alola, and Galar.
Hoenn and Paldea is still a maybe... but most likely they will not be considered.
