25. First Encounter

Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 25: First Encounter.

(First person POV...)

I'll bet you're wondering who I am and how I got here.

Well, here we goes.

I'm Greenwatch.

I'm one of the last Autobot Seekers who joined Starscream when he joined the Autobots at the height of the Great War.

Lately, things have not been easy since I left Cybertron after the announcement that Cybertron's core was shutting down due to Dark Energon poisoning thanks to that glitch head Megatron.

My Energon rations are low.

My morale and the morale of my comrades is even lower.

But now, we have hope on our side thanks to the fact that we were nearing the planet Earth.

But then, we had to activate our cloaking shield to avoid detection by the Decepticon starship, the Nemesis, forged from Trypticon's carcass.

And now, we were in a real trash heap as the Nemesis somehow spotted us and sent intercepting Fliers.

One of my comrades says to me, "Greenwatch, we're outnumbered five thousand to fifty! What do we do?!"

I answered, "I already sent out a coded message to Optimus Prime's unit to give us a helping servo. Hopefully, when we land, the other Autobots will find us and help us."

(Third person POV...)

In Autobot Outpost Omega One, Fortressimus, Darksor, Ironrider, Blow Saber, Overscreen, and the rest of his unit got themselves ready as Solarstorm activated the Space Bridge.

Ratchet calls out, "Yip-bip-bip-bip! Where are you going?"

Fortressimus answers, "We detected a coded signal from an Autobot ship under attack by the Decepticons aboard the Nemesis."

His optics widened in shock and dread, Ratchet quickly approaches his workstation to see the signals on the screen.

Ratchet then says, "Optimus and the others aren't too far away. I'll have them meet you there."

Fortressimus then says, "Autobots, transform and roll out!"

Fortressimus and his unit transforms to vehicle and beast mode before driving, flying and running through the Space Bridge portal.

Upon arriving in the nearest forest far away from human civilization, Fortressimus then says, "All Fliers, Aerialbots, Predacons, and Maximal Flying Corps members to the air! Provide assistance for our fellow Autobots!"

The entire roster of flying Autobots, Maximals, and Predacons took to the air in vehicle and beast mode before launching attacks on the numerous Vehicon Fliers.

The Vehicons call out, "Scrap!" "The Autobots have even more forces, including Fliers!" "And some of these fliers look like Earth birds, Insecticons, and Earth bats!" "Call in reinforcements!" "Out of the question! We may outnumber the Autobots, but unless we can determine their strength in numbers and what their weaknesses are, we don't stand a chance!"

The Vehicon Jets beat a hasty retreat as the Autobot ship lands.

Greenwatch and his forces disembark as Optimus questions, "Greenwatch? Is that you?"

Greenwatch replies, "In the armor plating, so to speak, sir."

In no time, Greenwatch and his fifty-five Aerialbots were taken to base where they were given the opportunity to scan Earth military planes.

Fortressimus knew that the Decepticons won't stop until they increase their forces, and he declared to himself that they all need to be prepared for whatever other surprises await them.
