Guile tilts his head. Looking at Guido feels weird. So strange.

The so-called imaginary friend doesn't look real, it's more like he popped out of a cartoon and sprung into real life. Just everything about Guido makes him feel sick.

The robot man, on the other hand, merely stares back with a unfaded smile on his screen. He doesn't seem to register that Guile's afraid or anything like that. He tilts his head right, left, up, and down to the boy, with his wires on top of his head moving, like a Caterpie. Finally he speaks, "MY DEAR BOY, GET UP ALREADY! WE HAVE AN ADVENTURE TO DO!"

Guile squints, then he signs, '…Are you joking..?'

Guido's wires stand up straight, "OF COURSE I AM SERIOUS! LOOK AT THIS WORLD! IT'S A ADVENTURE-IN-THE-MAKING. YOU DON'T WANNA LOSE YOUR CHANCE, DO YA?" He asks.

The boy isn't too fooled. Standing up, he looks at this so-called world. Nothing but ocean with the occasional islands, with a darken sky. But turning around, behind him, there is a forest. A completely normal forest, although the tree's leaves are purple.

As people say, curiosity kills the cat, and Guile starts walking over to the forest.

From behind him, following him, Guido cheers, waving his only visible hand up and down. "THERE WE GO! OFF TO NEW HORIZONS!"

The forest is thick, but not too long. As Guile makes his way through, things aren't adding up. The grass is purple, dark purple like a Muk. And most of these trees crooked, white instead of brown, and their roots slipping and growing above ground. The boy fears that if he runs too fast, he'll trip and get a nasty bruise.

As he walks on and on, leaving the commentary to himself, he starts to hum a little song to himself. It's a song that his maids and butlers often sung around the house, and he in return, learned it. Keeping the tune of the song, he stumbles upon something. Or someone.

A brown-skinned boy, no younger than seven, is sitting down criss-cross on the grass, ripping and tearing apart Pecha Berries to eat. And this boy, finishing eating his fifth berry, stops and seems to notice he's being watched, as he turns to look at Guile. And now, Guile can see a clear look at this boy.

He's dressed in a dark brown-cream zigzag fur coat, spiking out to unbelievable physics. As his hair is too, spiking out, a much lighter brown than his clothes. Lastly, he has ears that resemble a Zigzagoon, and now that he's thinking about it, the boy is dressed entirely down to a Zigzagoon. Including his face, his face looks more animal than human.

The two stare at each other, unmoving, unblinking, locked in a staring contest. Then the Zigzagoon boy reached into his coat, pulling out a Oran Berry and offers it forward, "You want some?" He asks.

Surprisingly, it's not so terrifying talking to the little boy. The two sit down, eating away on berries, in the middle of the forest.

"So you're telling me you're LOST?! How'd you end up lost around here?!" Tag, the Zigzagoon Gijinka, asks, taking a bite out of a Sitrus Berry.

Guile places his berry down, then he signs, 'I don't know. I wanna go home already, but this computer head guy insists I go on an adventure.'

Tag tilts his head, ears going down, "He sounds like a big jerk!"

'I wouldn't say that,' Guile shakes his head, disapproving. 'But he is a little strange. All I wanna do is go home and win back my title. That's all.' He takes a bite out of his Oran Berry, almost down to the core.

"Title? Did you come from the Ocean?" Tag cautiously questions.

'What? No, of course not! I'm not from the Ocean.' Guile signs, a little upset. 'Why for? Do the only people that have titles come from the Ocean?'

"Oh…OH! Well that's a good thing! My mom tells me that being from the Ocean is a bad thing, and that…uh…" Tag's words trail off, becoming unrecognized words. "You know…instead of going on an adventure, you could stay with us!"

Guile raises a eyebrow, 'What? Stay here with you?'

"Yup! Me and my parents occasionally get visitors through the Tunnels, and they bring in stuff! I'm sure one of them could help you find your home in no time, it'll be easy as that!" Tag smiles, finishing his berry snack.

'Really…? No lies? No tricks?' Guile signs, still finding the offer to be a bit tricky…and dangerous.

"I'm no liar," Tag solidifies it.

Guile thinks it's a joke. A poorly executed one, judging by how there's…really no one else here. So Tag could be trying to play a trick on him, but there's the another part of him. This another part is telling him that Tag is telling the truth and wants to truthfully help him.

So, Guile stands up, dusting off any grass strands from his red pants, and lets out a sigh. From there, he signs with his hands, 'Alright. Let's go.'

Tag's ears and tag starts wagging, and he jumps onto Guile, holding him into a hug. "YAY! You're gonna love my parents! They make the best meals ever! It's gonna be better than what your maid…s made!" He pulls out, grabbing Guile's hand and starts to pull him, leading further into the forest.

This isn't so bad, Guile thinks to himself. He'll try and take it easy, thank Tag and his family for their hospitality, and then…Hopefully, he'll get home. He smiles and closes his eye, letting Tag take the lead and

"THERE DO YOU SEE? UP AHEAD!"

Opening his eyes, he's back to where he started. Looking over at the oceanview, standing on this small island. Back here with Guido. 'Wha…What happened?' He signs, frantically looking over to Guido.

Gudio, the ever so helpful friend, smiles, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" He asks back.

'I was at the forest-IN THE FOREST. H-How did I end up back here?! Where's Tag?!' Guile frantically signs. Whatever he signs next is gibberish, his mind and hands quivering leading to his words fading off.

But Guido lingers onto one statement of the boy's words, and so he says, "FOREST? THERE IS NO FOREST HERE?"

Guile pauses, '…What? B-But there is one-' He drops his signing mid-sentence, turning around to point at the forest. But behind him, there is nothing. Nothing but dark purple grass there. He stands there, silent.

Was everything that happened with Tag…a figment? Was it even real?

"ARE YOU…OKAY?" Guido asks, worry stinging in his throat.

Guile turns to look back to Guido, and instead of signing, he only nods his head, lying to the imaginary friend.

And of course, Guido in his own world, believes it. "WONDERFUL! NOW TO CONTINUE ONWARD WITH NEW HOENN! LET'S CROSS THE OCEAN TO GET TO RUSTBORO!" He cheers.
