I wish I had come back with a new chapter, but after a lot of thinking on the subject, I decided to post this note and move on.

Dantrian: Since you decided to act rude and entitled, here's my public answer. I DO NOT OWE YOU MY FREE TIME or details of my private life, or what I do with it. You came to my story to complain and whine about how imprudent I am for coming back with "no explanation"? I bet you didn't even READ the rewritten chapter. I rewrote the first chapter, NOT THE TENTH. You simply decided to jump at the chance of being awful for no reason whatsoever and acted like I owed you an explanation. I do not need to disclose my personal issues to my readers who came here looking to have fun in their - gasp! - free time! I don't want to overshare my problems with anyone, and I have the right to keep my issues private. Some fanfic writers feel more comfortable sharing some of their daily life, others don't. And I'm sure you wouldn't care anyway regardless of what I said.

Fanfic is a HOBBY, we write for FUN, in our FREE TIME, FOR FREE. This is not a commission, I'm not being paid to write. I'm not aspiring to be a professional writer. I'm writing because I love the characters Ichigo and Sakura and their respective stories, and I wanted to share this with others. To share my love for them with others! If it was up only to what I WANTED, this story would've been completed by now. But life doesn't go the way we want it, and we have to deal with it.

I assumed that most readers knew that nowadays, when a story isn't being updated anymore it's because something happened: IRL problems, illness, losing inspiration or a combination of all of the three. Fanfiction authors are not providing you with free content so you act demanding constant updates, or throwing a hissy fit when things don't go your way. At the end of the day, we write what WE WANT and WHEN WE CAN.

Because of this I decided to delete the story in a week. The original, though now with a few tweaks and edited for better grammar, is reuploaded on AO3 and will be permanently there, should anyone want to check out the old version. There I can moderate comments and disable them altogether if needed be. I have no reason to feel safe on this website anymore and won't be publishing any more stories here. This is not concrit. It's just a mean comment that unfortunately this website does not give me the choice to delete it. It adds NOTHING useful to my life or to my writing.

I apologize to those who have followed this story so far and won't be moving to AO3 because you dislike the platform/layout/etc and feel better staying. This is one of my longest projects and it fucking hurts to admit it that I have lost the will to keep on writing it this particular piece as of now because of a stupid negative comment. But every time I thought of updating and getting more of these hateful reviews, I felt being held back.

Windrave, I would like to specifically thank you for your review. I wish more readers were like you who have something actually thoughtful to offer. I had tried to reach out to you via DM but I found out that ffnet is having issues with email as of recently, so my DM to you might have gotten lost. Anyway, it's comments like yours that give me hope that one day I can return to this story. And when I do it so, it will be with no regrets.

I thank you all for your patience, for giving me a chance, for the nice comments that kept me on going. I'll never forget you.
