As promised, Madelyn had texted Elijah the name and address of her favorite Café in Manhattan where she always met Kat in when they would go shopping together.

The Lennox witch just pulled up in front of the Café. She was slightly nervous that he wouldn't agree to the proposition but took a deep breath and steeled her nerves and got out of the car.

She walked in with a smile on her face and was surprised to find Elijah already sitting in a booth in the back. Madelyn walked over, "Elijah, I'm glad you decided to meet me today."

"Hello Madelyn, I can't lie, your vague phone call really caught my curiosity."

The blonde witch grinned at him, "Well I'm glad it did because this proposition would be an excellent business opportunity if you would be willing to invest in it to help get things rolling… so my friends and I had an idea to start a business but not just any kind of business, a business to sell daylight rings to vampires that otherwise can't get one for whatever reason… I've discussed this with my friends, and we are willing to split whatever profit we make evenly between the four of us, so that is 25 percent divided between you, myself, Bonnie, and Caroline."

Elijah looked at her for a moment and had to admit that it was a good idea and business investment. And he thought to himself, 'How has no one thought of this before now?' The suited Original then took notice of the pendant around Madelyn's neck. She had purposely made sure that he could see the necklace. The blonde witch smirked to herself as she noticed his eyes on the necklace. "I'm sorry I don't mean to be so forward, but I couldn't help but notice the pendant around your neck, Madelyn… where did you get it?"

She couldn't help but smirk at that and Elijah took note of how much she reminded him of Kol at that moment, "Oh, this old thing? It was a gift from my aunt. It's cute, right? And the M I could easily pass off standing for Madelyn." She was playing with him at this point to see if he would mention what it really meant.

"Hmmm indeed, but are you aware of the true meaning of what that M stands for?"

Madelyn smirked again, "Yes Elijah, I am aware of what it truly stands for, and I was told that if you perhaps were to see it that it would help to cement your investment in my little business venture here." She didn't see the need to lie to him about it, as he could tell that she was lying.

Elijah then held a look of understanding, "You are Kol's soulmate, and you've somehow managed to speak with him."

Madelyn grinned at him, "Indeed it's a bit of a complicated explanation but yes Kol is indeed my soulmate and informed me that you would be more willing to invest in my business if you were to know exactly who I was."

"Which is why you made sure I would notice the pendant, am I correct?"

"Yes."

Elijah nodded, he was planning to agree to invest in the business anyway but knowing that she was his brother's soulmate just cemented that more, just as Kol had informed the blonde witch "No matter, I'll admit Madelyn I am intrigued and feel that this would be a good investment and find it curious that no one has tried to capitalize off of this before."

"That was my thought as well when the idea came to me, I was like why hasn't someone tried to capitalize off this before now? So what do you think? Is it worth investing in?"

"I believe that it would be a very wise investment and would be willing to help get things started."

Madelyn grinned, "Great, I will have a proper paper agreement drawn up, and we will all four sign it and that is when you can decide how much you want to invest for the starting investment."

"Very well, just let me know when everything is ready to be signed, and I'll be there." The two said goodbye and went their separate ways, the blonde witch would get everything drawn up as soon as possible, that way they could get started.

Madelyn sat in her car after her meeting with Elijah, and pulled her phone out, and dialed a familiar number. It rang four times before the line clicked signaling someone picked up "Hey, so it's me… I need a favor." The blonde witch got straight to the point.

There was a chuckle, "What can I do for you little sister?"

"I called you because I know you're a lawyer and I need a paper document drawn up about a business deal that I'm in the process of getting. We've made a verbal agreement already, but I want it to be on paper as well."

"All right, very well then, why don't you drop by the office next time you are in New York, and we will get it done."

"Awesome thanks Matty and I just so happen to be in New York right now, the meeting was at my favorite Café in Manhattan."

"All right then, why don't I send someone to come and get you and bring you to the office?"

"No, I've got my car and know the way, so I'll be there in a few, but thanks for the offer." They said their goodbyes and Madelyn pulled out of her parking spot and headed towards Hell's Kitchen, the location of the law firm that she was headed to, to get the documents drawn up.

Oooooh who is this mystery lawyer that Made is going to see, and why did he call her little sister? XD Want to take a guess? It will be revealed in the next chapter though.

Anyway, this was literally like a last-minute thing added at the end of this chapter. I love it when my brain gives me ideas that weren't part of the original planning process for fics.

I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter (: I love throwing in random twists like this XD.
