missing scenes from the end of this episode. The time difference at the end always bothered me, plus Gwen thanked Arthur for all the help he had given to Elyan though we never found out what it was.

When Morgana and Mordred fall, Arthur and Merlin expect their dreams of a peaceful kingdom of brotherhood to fall into place. However, prejudice and hatred die hard. When Merlin is forced to flee the kingdom for his life, he and Arthur are forced unto two different paths which take them in heartbreaking directions and leave them both emotionally scarred.

It's Gaius's 70th Birthday and Merlin has planned a surprise party, despite Gaius's grumpy reaction it turned out to be the best idea ever. Short, sweet and fluffy also an attempt at humour. Merthur, M/A

Gawain found a strange girl locked away in a cage. Needing Merlin's help, he takes her to Camelot to get her healed and to find out what exactly she is. Even though being Camelot terrifies her, she stays and befriends Arthur, Morgana and Merlin, helping to change the future with some much needed magic. Gawain/OC and Arthur/Merlin

I feel someone needs to explain all of Merlin's crazy behaviour in this episode. This is the first of two missing scenes.

Following the backlash of one of his bright ideas, Arthur and Merlin find themselves stranded in Lot's kingdom. With an enemy patrol, and an entire camp of wronged bandits blocking their escape through the woods, they've no choice but to get word to Camelot and wait for rescue. Yet, that may be easier said than done... (set between series 4 & 5, diverges from canon later on)

Percival finds Merlin at the edge of the Lake of Avalon after Arthur's death. Merlin mourns for Arthur, and Percival mourns for his friend.

Morgana is worried about an absent Merlin, whose week-long dissapearance turns the whole Merlin Universe upside-down! This story combines season 2 with the first six-or-so episodes of season 3, except without all the Morgana-Morgause drama. Well, kind of. Oh, just wait and see Damnit!
