This story starts off from Merlin's final episode. Queen Gwen must continue ruling Camelot without her loving King Arthur at her side. As Gwen's world shatters, her status as Camelot's ruler is threatened. Leon, her right hand and most trusted knight, has sworn an oath to protect and serve his queen no matter the cost.

Merlin is captured and Arthur must go on a quest to save him but will the rescue come in time? And will Arthur still want to save Merlin after secrets are revealed?
