This is my first of two alternate endings to Merlin Series 5. I pray it pleases.

A canon-era oneshot that follows the events after 5x13. The battle is won, but Arthur is gone, and Percival must be the one to deliver the news back to Camelot. After so much loss, none remain unchanged. SPOILERS FOR 5X13, lots of angst, implied slash depending on how you look at things.

Alternative for 3x12/3x13. Morgause betrays Morgana and takes the throne for herself. If Morgana gets the chance, will she try to change her ways? A battle for Camelot looms. But whose side will she be on?
