Beginnings

Previously:

James did get enough time and leverage to use the fall and having grabbed the flag to swing himself towards a nearby window and flings himself into a woman apartment, the glass shattering as some pieces stabbed into James, some slashing him, and other embedding into him as he screams out in pain with his vision becoming blurry but notices a woman with red hair running up before his eyes close only hearing some words.

"I've got him, Fury, bringing him onboard now."

Chapter 3

Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D

James' eyes snap open as he gasps for air before suddenly looking to his right and left to notice that he isn't where he was at, but at that note did he even survive that encounter to begin with as he shakes his head and tries to recall what happened as he slowly gets up, his body sore and bruised all over as he starts slowly walking around to closely examine the area he is in, trying to find a door as he cannot seem to see one. However, unknown to James he is being watched as a Mirror that is supposed to be just a Wall Mirror but it is serving as a one way looking mirror as well with Nick Fury, Tony Stark, and Natasha watching him.

"Alright Fury, Parker is up now you need to let him go." Tony states as he turns and glares at Nick as Fury just turns and looks at Tony, "Oh and who are you to be telling me when to let someone go or keep him? Last time I checked he got saved by US! S.H.I.E.L.D so I don't have to do any-" but then Nick gets cut off by Natasha and she speaks up. "No, James saved himself. I only showed up after he did so, if anything you helped him recover but you did not actually save him..he saved himself."

This caused Fury to glare at Natasha with a great big frown on his face with Tony just chuckling at what she said. "Well you heard her, now let James go or else I will press the big red button and this big Helicarrier goes down in the Atlantic Nick." As Fury, Tony and Natasha argue and talk James just spent that time examining the room and placed some blankets down at certain points around the room as he uses them to figure out where air is coming from and it is showing that it is coming from near the big window in the room as he begins to grab hold of a chair, grab the metal can that is usually used to help people piss in, and then the IV stand. "This is going to hurt…" James says as he disconnected himself from the machine then flings it into the mirror first causing it to get hit and have a small crack which alert Nick as they stop arguing enough to see James running up as he kicks the chair into the mirror hard then drop kicks it with the metal pan being used in front of his feet using it for extra force as he comes smashing through the mirror.

On instinct Tony quickly grabs Natasha and dives out of the way, but Fury was in the direct line of the flying kick as Nick fury gets kicked in the face by the metal piss pan and gets hit across the face as James falls down onto the ground. "Arggg that hurts." James moves to get back up as S.H.I.E.L.D agents come running in as the shattering of the glass sets off multiple alarms as Tony and Natasha get up. "Don't move! You are under arrest!" one of the S.H.I.E.L.D guards say as James just looks back at him then looks ahead to see another agent there as he examines his surroundings and notices one guard is checking up on Fury.

'So eyepatch is their leader or at least the higher one in command for these people…I see Tony here and that red-haired girl though she looks familiar for some reason. No matter.' James thought as he quickly stomps down onto the metal pan and then kicks it into a guard as he does a backflip into the air as some of them open fired where he was standing at as some guards kill other guards as the rest stop shooting with James landing behind on guard and trips him up as he grabs him and starts running towards Fury using the guard as a shield with the others aiming their gun at him but don't fire.

James shoves the guard he was using as a shield into some guards as he kicks the Guard checking on Fury in the back of the knee causing him to fall as he shiftly grabs hold of Fury and holds him up, "I don't know who you idiots think you are but I am leaving this base and if you follow me I WILL snap his neck." Due to James doing this, it causes the S.H.I.E.L.D guards who are alive to put their guns down as James begins to walk backwards while dragging Fury with him.

Natasha, who is now up, decides to start moving to the right going through a different door as James is walking out with Fury as a shield, but gets kicked at from the side by Natasha causing James to let go of Fury and kick him forward as he moves backwards to dodge Natasha kick and follows up with a punch across Natasha face but she dodges the punch by ducking under James arm and twists then turns around to go sweep kick James aiming to knock him down.

James does indeed get knocked down but he moved his hands such away that when he was falling his hand lands first as he turns his fall into a backflip as he gets back up onto his feet with Natasha rushing in to punch James just to get her fist caught as he pulls her in close and wraps his left around around Natasha neck as he he bends he backwards with her back touching his knee just to twist her and himself around to slam her face into the metal flooring hard.

"Not sure who you are, but I have been preparing for this kind of bullshit all my life. I am not going to let anyone anywhere get their hands on what my Parents wanted me to guard with my life." James walks closer to Fury who is waking up and aiming to reach for his gun, but much to James surprise, Natasha comes from behind and jumps onto his back and swings her legs around to wrap around his head then spins him around slamming him onto his back with Natasha on top of him as she glares at him. "You may be skilled, but there is a difference between you and me…You are Skilled but I have experience." James just grunts in pain as he returns the glare right back at Natasha.

"Enough! Both of you, I get why you are rather protective about your parents briefcase as it was trusted to you and it is something they shouldn't have done as you were just a kid. However, it was something that belonged to us as they did work for us. So if you could just tell us where it is at." Fury states as he walks up to James as Natasha is still just on top of him, but James glare just shifts over towards Fury as he answers. "I will not give it to S.H.I.E.L.D, my parents had specific rules and one of them was to NOT give it to S.H.I.E.L.D as you government bastards are no better than Hydra and they had proof to show you were control by HYDRA and you don't even know it."

This new information caused Fury and Natasha to look at James with shocked and confused eyes as they both look at each other before a realization hits them, "How could anyone have known that the briefcase was back in New York…and how did they know Parker would have it." Fury says aloud to himself and Natasha as Natasha adds on, "Better yet, how could Crimson Dynamo know about it or Beetle? Who hired them…" James just chuckles as he just shakes his head, "And you are only NOW asking this question? No wonder my parents didn't trust S.H.I.E.L.D. So if you don't mind, Get off of me." to which Natasha does as she offers James a hand to which he smacks her hand away as he gets up on his own with a small sad look apparent on Natasha's face.

"So I am going to ask… no DEMAND that you send me back home and I get to live my life with no complicated factors in it." James states as Fury just scoffs and says, "No complicated factors? Boy, you were considered DEAD for over twenty years and there has been an explosion of heroes coming up and so many new things that you most likely never experienced let alone even know about." James just grits his teeth as he glares at Fury as he and Fury just glare each other down just for Tony to step in and say, "Fury either let him go home or train him you cannot do anything else to him as it is PAINSTAKINGLY obvious that he does not trust you and possibly myself but for good reasons, if S.H.I.E.L.D was a HYDRA undercover creation or if they just snuck people in because they had control of that, there really is only those two options you can afford."

Fury turns and looks at Tony before sighing deeply as he looks at Natasha, "Take Parker home and Train him there as I along with Stark do some checking and spring cleaning of the Helicarrier routing out whatever HYDRA agent is on board to make at least the Helicarrier a save place especially for the Avengers when they come over." to which Tony agrees as does Natasha, but James. "Are you kidding me? Just send me home ALONE with no one, I do not need training." as Tony walks up to James, "James…Parker, you do need training as Hydra will not be kind and will go to an extreme to get that briefcase and Natasha is an Avenger so she can be trusted, besides she laid your ass out from what I saw and before you try to say you did it to her, she was holding back."

Instead of arguing any further James just says this, "Fine but you nor she will get in my way of a normal life. I still need to do my job for J.J. and find out who this Spider-man is and get a job." Fury, Tony, and Natasha all just look at each other as if they know who Spider-man is as Fury says, "Fine, but you do need to at least take the training seriously." to which James does agree to if only to shut Fury up as Fury looks at Natasha telling her to get him home to which she does by taking the Avengers Jet to fly over towards James home as James gets a rather shocking surprise as he sees his house expands upwards and outwards changing it completely as the Jet lands safely on top of James house as Natasha and James gets out as the Jet flies up and off on its own dumbfounding James even more.

Natasha just leads James down as the house begins to shrink back to it's normal size, "Okay…is Stark just some kind of Genius or what?" Natasha just scoffs then lets out a laugh before finally answering, "Don't let Tony hear you say that because then his ego will grow even more than what it already is." as they enter James' house as it does seem to be a bit bigger, big enough for two people now instead of just one as Natasha continues by saying, "For now just focus on your work and we will train on days you are off, but be warned that trying to find out Spider-man secret identity will challenge you, not because it will be very difficult but because when you do find out who he is…you will need to decide what more important, letting Jonah know who Spider-man is or to let him keep his secret as to protect his family." James just nods and heads to his room.

As Natasha and James get used to this new arrangement the scene slowly pans out from James' house as something with a tendril and a black outfit is seen just outside watching them, "Found you…"
