Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 60: 6 Returning Teammates.

In the Autobot base, Fortressimus is at work on the computer, researching the various Autobots who died during the War for Cybertron after Counterbat/Tailpunch left Cybertron to protect the Allspark from Megatron after the Decepticon leader poisoned Cybertron's core with Dark Energon.

Fortressimus notices 6 names in particular who were labeled M.I.A.: Divearmor, Swerveburst, Lockoil, Cloudcrash, Cinderdive, and Meltfist, six members of Optimus' inner circle as a lieutenant, a commander, a saboteur, a medic, a scout, and a sergeant.

Fortressimus reads to himself, "Last known sightings of Divearmor, Swerveburst, Lockoil, Cloudcrash, Cinderdive, and Meltfist: the Battle of Tyger Pax, helping Jetfire, the Aerialbots, and the Wreckers hold back the Decepticon forces to buy Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion more time to prepare to launch the Allspark off of Cybertron to parts unknown. Cause of disappearances: unknown. If any Autobot soldiers finds either or all of the six missing teammates, bring them to headquarters for refueling, repairs, rest, recuperation, and debriefing."

Optimus remarks from behind Fortressimus, "I see you are educating yourself further on the history of the Great War."

Fortressimus replies as he turns around, "Yes. I felt it best to pass the time until something happens."

Just then, the computer beeps and Fortressimus checks it out.

Fortressimus states in shock, "By the Allspark! The six missing Autobots are coming to Earth."

Optimus replies, "Assemble a team to escort them back to base."

Fortressimus nods before going into the base to find the best team for the job.

Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead, Chromia, Cliffjumper, Elita One, Shadowguard, Black Dancer, and Optimus as Ratchet gets the Space Bridge up and running.

Ratchet activates the Space Bridge to the Sonoran Desert in northwestern Sonora, Baja California, and Baja California Sur.

Optimus states, "Autobots, roll out!"

The Autobots transform to vehicle mode/beast mode and they drive, fly, and run into the portal.

After emerging in the desert, the Autobots transform to robot mode and they look up to see a small-sized freighter in red and black descending.

As the ship descends, the Autobots cover their optics and visors to prevent sand from flying into their optics and visors.

The ship's deployment ramp opens and the six M.I.A. Autobots emerged, much to even Optimus' shock.

Fortressimus steps forward and says, "Autobots, welcome back to service in our ranks, and welcome to Earth."

Meltfist looks at Fortressimus and asks, "Who are you? I don't think I've seen you before."

Optimus states in response, "This is Fortressimus Prime, one of my new successors. And it is good to see the six of you online."

Optimus and the other Autobots shake servos.

Cloudcrash then asks, "So, is this the planet Earth that was spoken in prophecy in the Covenant of Primus?"

Downshell replies as she brandishes a hologram of the text about Earth being the next planet in the war from the Covenant of Primus, "Oh, yes, Cloudcrash, it is."

The six Autobots look upon the datatrax and they see for themselves the texts describing Earth aside from just the doom prophecy about Unicron.

Optimus then says into his commlink, "Ratchet, open the Space Bridge. We have Autobots coming in, and you're going to be surprised at who they are."

Ratchet replies, "I'll hold you up to that, and Space Bridge back to base coming up."

The Autobot Space Bridge opens and the Autobots all go through it back to base.

In the base, Ratchet sees the Autobot away team returning, but his jaw drops when he sees the six Autobots in Optimus' inner circle who disappeared at the Battle of Tyger Pax standing there.

Ratchet asks in a shocked daze, "Lieutenant Divearmor? Commander Swerveburst? Lockoil? Cloudcrash? Cinderdive? Sergeant Meltfist?"

Divearmor replies, "Hello, Ratchet. Nice to see you're also alive and well."

Ratchet comes up and shakes each bot's servos.

Jack comes up and says, "Hello, Autobots, and welcome to my home planet."

Swerveburst asks, "And who might you be?"

Jack answers, "I'm Jack Darby. I'm a human being, a carbon-based lifeform and a primate invented by my God to serve Him."

Lockoil asks in confusion, "There's a human Primus?"

Fortressimus answers, "The human version of Primus prefers to be called God, or Jehovah, or Yahweh, but those two names are preferred to be addressed in a worship song. And yes, God is the human version of Primus. But unfortunately, because of the fact that evil has existed among His children for six million years and because of the way His nemesis works, that combined with the evolution of human technology to the 21st century A.D. has resulted in, among other things, ninety-six percent of Earth's human population refusing to believe that God exists."

This especially angered Meltfist.

After introductions and explanations that took up to 1 hour and fifty-five minutes, the new Autobots were brought up to speed about the war, Megatron's fate, the transformatted humans from Overscreen to Dusksword, the existence of the multiverse, the history of the Transformers franchise, the humans, the history of human achievements and human wars, the various evil humans and other humanoid beings in existence, and the history of Earth across the multiverse.

But Fortressimus and the other Quadwal cluster humans, for now, have kept secret the existence of Unicron as the Earth's core in the Transformers Prime franchise because they didn't want to make anyone freak out.

Granted, that was a bad reason, but it was also a good reason for if the Decepticons ever caught wind of Unicron being the Earth's core, they'd stop at nothing to destroy Unicron while intentionally and unintentionally destroying Earth in the process.

In Divearmor's quarters, Divearmor says, "Fortressimus? Thank you for everything."

Fortressimus replies, "My pleasure, Lieutenant."

Fortressimus ventures to his quarters and the night's recharging sets in motion a specific day where one Autobot encounters a ghost from their past.

The End.

(Author's notes: See you all in chapter 61: Ghost of the Past.)
