Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 61: Ghost of the Past.
In a Cybertronian ship, a Flier looks at a picture of Starscream and remarks, "Soon, Starscream, you'll learn how much you have to lose for refusing to join Lord Megatron."
The Decepticon Flier sets course for Earth.
In the Autobot base, the alarm sounds, prompting Ratchet, Optimus, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Fortressimus, Arcee, Chromia, Elita One, Cliffjumper, Tailgate, Shadowguard, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyquake, Dreadwing, Dirge, Ramjet, Thrust, Slipstream, Sunstorm, Hotlink, Bitstream, Nacelle, Acid Storm, Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Cloudcover, Autoclave, Wheezing Arrow, Red Wing, Blast, Brownout, Darkblade, Dingbat, Jetmaster, Nightcruz, Overcast, Quickstrike, Rescue Force, Ro-Tor, Movor, Rotorbolt, Screechwing, Skyguy, Sideways, Tomahawk, Vanquish, Windrim, Windsail, Windsweeper, Wingnut, Wingwaver, X-Spance, and Downshell to run over.
Ratchet checks out the cause of the alarm, only to come across a horrible truth.
Ratchet says, "Optimus, the dreaded Decepticon Seeker General by the name of Blackbug has just entered the solar system!"
Starscream exclaims, "WHAT?!"
Everyone winced at how loud Starscream exclaimed his surprise.
Optimus questions, "Do you know Blackbug?"
Starscream answers, "More than that, he was one of my former classmates in the Iaconian Aerial Academy, but whereas I graduated, he was expelled for cheating, bullying, dealing drugs, and illegal experiments. He was sought after by Megatron when he found out you had recruited me and the majority of the Energon Seekers to the Autobot cause. And now Blackbug wants me dead for not joining Megatron."
Optimus replies back, "This could prove to be a problem. Autobots, we must find Blackbug and stop him from either accomplishing his goal or joining the Decepticons onboard the Nemesis."
In the middle center of the Nevada Desert, the Autobots see a small freighter the equivalent of the Peaceful Tyranny in terms of design land in front of them.
The Decepticon Seeker Blackbug emerges and remarks, "Well, well, well. If it isn't Optimus Prime, his troops, and my former fellow Fliers. I have no love for those who don't join Megatron."
Fortressimus deploys his Sword of Judgement as he replies, "And I have no love for those who disgrace their people or the god that invented them in the first place."
Optimus states, "Blackbug, surrender immediately or be destroyed."
Blackbug laughs mockingly as he remarks, "A death threat from Optimus Prime? How droll."
Before anyone can do anything, Starscream decloaks behind Blackbug and plants a high-ex Thermal Core Detpack on his back.
Starscream moves out of the way, and the detpack explodes violently, making everyone cover their optics as Blackbug gets blown to pieces, even without the ship being taken with him.
Everyone looks at Starscream and he replies, "What? He was going to drone on and on about himself and his goals, and I really don't want to take any chances just in case his skills as an Energon Seeker could extend to finding my life signal past our base's shielding."
Fortressimus puts his sword away and remarks, "Well, at least we have another ship to add to our future space fleet for when we return to Cybertron."
Optimus replies reluctantly, "Indeed."
In the base, Blackbug is permanently reprogrammed before being revived and he becomes an Autobot, even though Starscream won't forgive him for everything that the other Seeker did.
Optimus just sucked it up, having gotten used to Fortressimus' habits.
Meanwhile, on the Nemesis, Speedgazer asks, "Soundwave, where is Blackbug?"
Soundwave plays back footage of Blackbug's demise, much to Speedgazer's anger.
Speedgazer then says as he walks out of the bridge, "Don't bother me for the next ten cycles; I'm going to the training room."
The door closes behind Speedgazer.
In his quarters, Fortressimus knew that somehow, the Autobots would be encountering a few new friends and enemies before the events of Deus Ex Machina happen, as shown in a precognitive dream courtesy of the Allspark Matrix.
Fortressimus prayed, "God, Primus, please help us secure these new friendships and imprison these new enemies."
The End.
