Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 77: Additional Reinforcements.

In the wash racks, Fortressimus Prime was in his bare protoform mode as he took a decontamination shower, following the directions provided by both the loudspeakers and his CPU.

Fortressimus remarks, "Well, I got what I wanted: a satisfying shower as a Cybertronian."

Fortressimus finishes up and puts his armor back on after drying himself off.

As Fortressimus was the first one up, he immediately went to his workshop to see about finishing the blueprints for a new blaster he was working on.

It was none other than a small-scale version of the shield-blaster that Iaconus from Transformers Cyberverse used when he was in robot mode and in battle.

Fortressimus knew that he and Artemesio were going overboard with building weapons for everyone and for themselves, but they couldn't help it; as Fortressimus put it, if the Decepticons are going to be stopped one day at a time, the Autobot forces would not only require superior numbers, but also sufficient firepower.

Fortressimus then puts the finished shield-blaster on his collective racks of weapons and exits his workshop.

In Forcescream and Amethyst Spud's quarters, Forcescream woke up first, and as he gazed lovingly at Amethyst, he couldn't help but mentally thank God and Primus for allowing him to have this kind of grand opportunity for a new future to be set in stone as soon as the war between Autobots and Decepticons was over.

Forcescream had even said before Ratchet could say anything, "Before you say anything, I wouldn't even want sparklings in the middle of a war. I mean, how else are Amethyst and I going to even raise them if we were on the battlefield aside from our armies of clones? And besides, who do you take me and Amethyst for, Optima and Nightreaper?"

Ratchet didn't how to respond to that, but he brushed it aside, knowing that Forcescream was equally as responsible as Optimus, Fortressimus, and everyone else who shared such maturity.

In their quarters, Forcescream finds a small spot in Amethyst's armpit armor and he gently runs a digit down that spot, making Amethyst giggle in her sleep.

Amethyst says sleepily, "No, Ma, no, that tickles."

Forcescream remarks in a singsongy tone, "#Not even close.#"

Amethyst opens her eyes and she glares hotly at Forcescream.

Amethyst snarls, "Don't ever tickle me again."

Forcescream asks seriously, "Did I seriously touch a nerve?"

Amethyst answers, "Yes."

Forcescream then starts tickling Amethyst's stomach armor, making her laugh.

Amethyst states, "Ahh hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Stop! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Seriously, stop it!"

Forcescream eventually stops tickling Amethyst, only for the twosome to end up tickling each other until they respectively can't take it anymore.

Amethyst states with slight exhaustion, "That... may have... been... slightly fun... but let's not do that again."

Forcescream replies, "Agreed."

The twosome enters the command center, only to see the rest of the Autobot army gathered around the control consoles.

Silverimus states, "Good, you two finally rebooted."

Amethyst Spud replies as she asks, "Yep. So, what's going on?"

Optimus answers, "We have detected yet another Autobot ship entering Earth's atmosphere. We were just about to make contact with the pilot."

Forcescream inquires confusedly, "Really? That's strange."

Bulkhead questions, "Why is it strange?"

Forcescream answers, "Because the only other Autobot who shows up on Earth is Ultra Magnus."

Optimus inquires, "My old friend and second-in-command Ultra Magnus will show up on Earth soon?"

Fortressimus answers, "Only in season 3, when the Omega Lock is used to cyberform a spot of land in front of our base to forge a replica of Megatron's military headquarters Darkmount and then proceeds to destroy our base with the big mega cannon housed in the underbelly of the Nemesis."

Blowwolf adds, "And because of what will happen when we try to use the Omega Lock, we will have to not only keep our human and techno-organic troops in military protection associated with our forces to prevent the Decepticons from using them as ransom for the Omega Keys, but we will also, in the future, have to consider evacuation and relocation plans to save ourselves."

Ratchet inquires, "How?"

Artemesio answers, "By splitting our forces up into groups of various numbers to increase our chances of survival and also to play misdirection games with the Decepticons to make us even harder to find. Along with using one of our new bases that we've spent months building with help from our builder army."

Amethyst then says before suggesting, "That sounds like something to consider. Perhaps we should focus on contacting our new Autobot allies for now?"

Optimus nods.

Ratchet establishes contact with the ship and Optimus says, "Unknown vessel, this is Autobot Outpost Omega One. Identify yourself."

Just then, a voice sounding like the Animated version of Ironhide replies, "Optimus? Is that you, sir? Well, polish my tailpipe, I'm glad you're still functioning!"

Optimus smiles a bit as he says, "It is good to hear from you, Heavyhide."

Fortressimus mentally reminded his fellow transformatted Autobots that Heavyhide was one of Ironhide's adopted siblings and half-clone who was trained by both Ironhide and Ultra Magnus.

Ironhide remarks, "Hey, little brother, how are ya?!"

Heavyhide replies before asking, "Just dandy, Ironhide. But what's with this level of security?"

Ironhide answers, "The last time we had reinforcements arrive, the Decepticons tried to send in Makeshift to infiltrate our base to notify Ironspan of where we were."

Heavyhide inquires, "Ironspan? What about Megatron?"

Optimus took over as he answers, "At the present time, Megatron is now online now that he has taken back control of the Decepticons, but he was initially comatose thanks to our combined efforts to destroy his Space Bridge in Earth's orbit and Ironspan's failed attempt to finish him off which would've succeeded were it not for Soundwave and the 30 Decepticon Generals. Anyway, we still need all the help we can acquire if we are going to protect Earth from the Decepticons now that Megatron has returned."

Ironhide queries, "So, when can you get here to even the odds even more?"

Heavyhide answers, "Most likely tomorrow at the latest if nothing delays us."

Ironhide replies, "Well, see you soon, brother."

Optimus adds, "Safe journey, soldier."

The connection was cut after that.

Artemesio remarks, "Well, this was a nice change."

Ironhide then questions, "Fortressimus, did I ever make an appearance on Earth in the original timeline?"

Everyone's attention was drawn as Fortressimus answers coolly, "No. Plans were originally made to feature you as another addition to the cast, but around that time, the Transformers Dark of the Moon movie in the Tyran cluster was released and shown in theaters, and in that movie, Sentinel Prime – NOT Sentinel Zeta Prime – had turned traitor to enslave humanity and use Earth's resources to revive Cybertron, and to that end, he murdered your counterpart with a Cosmic Rust blaster. So, because young children at the ages of five or 10 at the time didn't know about the concept of continuities for a toy, cartoon, movie, comic book, and video game franchise or even what the term continuity means, Hasbro felt that a version of you being alive in the Transformers Prime cartoon and dead in Michael Bay's third Transformers movie was going to create confusion. Sorry, Ironhide."

Ironhide nods in understanding.

Forcescream then points out, "And guys, I don't want to burst anyone's bubbles, but there's a 100% certainty that the Decepticons will also be getting reinforcements around this time."

Bumblebee remarks sarcastically, "Thanks for the vote of confidence, Forcescream."

Forcescream draws his sword and replies, "Hey, show some respect, will ya?"

Fortressimus steps between the twosome and shouts, "Enough! Put your jealousies and personal problems aside, or else I will reprogram you both into drones!"

Bumblebee walks away grumbling.

Forcescream puts his sword away.

Then Blowwolf says, "Now, we can't afford to have another Makeshift incident happen, so we have to get to Heavyhide and anyone he has with him first."

Tailgate then asks, "Forcescream, Fortressimus, Artemesio, Blowwolf, you four know the Transformers franchise more than any of your fellow Quadwal cluster humans. What do you know about Ironhide the best?"

Fortressimus answers first, "Well, first, he's an Autobot war veteran, meaning that because of how long he's lived, he has served in the Autobot military during the War for Cybertron far longer than most of us under this roof."

Blowwolf goes next as he says, "Not only that, but Ironhide is also known to be a weapon specialist, knowing the ins and outs of every modern Cybertronian firearm, even before Energon-fueled blasters became commonplace."

Artemesio goes next as he adds, "And Ironhide in this continuity is known to be one of the strongest Autobots around, able to rip Decepticon Brutes in half with only his bare hands."

Forcescream goes last as he concludes, "And in some continuities like this one, Ironhide is one of Optimus' oldest friends, the first and oldest one – not related to age, I might add – just happens to be Ratchet."

Ratchet replies, "You got that right, Forcescream; I've known Optimus far longer than most of you, with the exceptions of Optimus' biological relatives, and with the exceptions of Jazz, Ironhide, Steelfist, Tiderally, and Elita One."

Ackas Pax then asks, "Fortressimus, Forcescream, Blowwolf, Artemesio, how would you boys like to do a little test to prove you know the values of being an Autobot so you can come along on the mission to meet Heavyhide?"

Fortressimus replies first, "I accept, Ms. Pax."

The other three reply in unison, "Here here!" "Here here!" "Here here!"

In the SAFE, Ratchet says over the P.A., "All right, you four. For the test, there will be eight levels. You must finish each level in the correct numerical order to progress further. Are you ready?"

Blowwolf answers, "Ready as we'll ever be, Ratchet."

The walls of the arena began to move and change in accordance to the easiest first level.

The other end of the room reveals Bumblebee, Brown Mark, Fire Jacket, and Stormbug.

Ratchet then says, "Your mission objective is straightforward, as you may have guessed. Defeat Bumblebee, Brown Mark, Fire Jacket, and Stormbug in a four-on-four fight. Each of you will be given an assortment of life bars to keep track of your mission progress. If any of you get hit by anything, even a bullet, you will feel an electrical jolt that drains a life bar. The test will end once all of you either pass the test or until your life bars are fully drained. In addition to that, from Level 2 onwards, any time you complete the remaining levels no matter how many life bars you have left, you will be rewarded with extra life bars. I'm transmitting the intel to your heads-up displays now."

The intel on their heads-up displays read as follows: "New Orders: Defeat Bumblebee, Brown Mark, Fire Jacket, and Stormbug with ranged weapons. Artemesio's Life Bars: 10/10. Fortressimus Prime's Life Bars: 12/12. Blowwolf's Life Bars: 12/12. Forcescream's Life Bars: 10/10. Bumblebee's Life Bars: 8/8. Brown Mark's Life Bars: 8/8. Fire Jacket's Life Bars: 8/8. Stormbug's Life Bars: 8/8."

Blowwolf deploys a Fall of Cybertron Scatter Blaster, Fortressimus deploys a Fall of Cybertron Path Blaster, Artemesio deploys a War for Cybertron Ion Blaster, and Forcescream deploys a Fall of Cybertron Riot Cannon.

The foursome cock their weapons and Ratchet says, "Ready? Fight!"

Fortressimus moves first, firing off Planet Buster rounds while moving towards cover.

Blowwolf also fires off Planet Buster rounds, and Forcescream fires off Planet Buster rounds as well.

Meanwhile, Artemesio takes time to fill the opponents with bullet holes before moving towards cover.

Of course, their opponents had the exact same idea, but their opponents weren't accurate enough for any clean or messy shots.

After checking their life bars to see that their opponents had three life bars drained, Fortressimus and his comrades reloaded their weapons and Fortressimus uses Autobot combat hand signals as he says, "Enemies on other side of cover. Recommend we use human forms and Plasma Cannons, Sonic Cannons, Nucleon Shock Cannons, and Wave Cannons to knock opponents down two life bars."

Forcescream, Blowwolf, and Artemesio nod before all four of them entered their human forms quietly, activated their cannons, charged them, rushed to the other side of the platform they were on to see Bumblebee and his comrades, jump-flipped through the air, and opened fire.

Their combined firepower reduced their opponents' life bars to three more.

Then Fortressimus and his comrades activated their Nemesis Shields as they tucked, rolled back onto their feet, and rushed through the battle zone to get behind cover again.

The foursome reloads their cannons before holding one cannon on one arm and holding miniguns of different types on another arm.

They proceeded to activate their cloaking shields and flanked Bumblebee, Brown Mark, Fire Jacket and Stormbug before firing one bullet at one leg each.

The moment they turned around in unison, their opponents decloaked in robot mode and aimed their cannons and miniguns at their heads, making their optics widen in shock and horror.

Blowwolf then asks, "Are you willing to surrender, or are you willing to get your heads blown off and get the rest of your bodies dented with bullet holes? Regardless, my team wins."

Fire Jacket raises her servos in the universal sign for surrender, and his comrades do the same.

Brown Mark remarks, "What a way to back us into a corner while cutting off any means of escape, guys. But we'll admit you guys did great."

Everyone puts their weapons away.

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "Fortressimus, Forcescream, Artemesio, Blowwolf, well done. You managed to force Bumblebee, Brown Mark, Stormbug, and Fire Jacket into surrendering instead of beating them brutally. Now head through the next door to the next level."

Fortressimus then says as he and the others walk away, "You did good as well, boys and gal."

In the next arena, the exit doors to the next level opened to reveal Bulkhead, Ironhide, Punchcount, and Railrunner.

Fortressimus questions, "You boys ready to see who can deal the most damage out of all eight of us?"

Bulkhead replies in kind, "We'll know soon enough, eh?"

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "All right, you four, the objective will be altered this time. Get ready for what I'm about to send you. And this time, your weapons will give off an electrical shock whenever they come in contact with your opponents, including their own weapons."

Their heads-up displays showed the following instructions: "Orders Updated: Defeat Bulkhead, Ironhide, Punchcount, and Railrunner using melee weapons. Artemesio's Life Bars: 10/10. Fortressimus Prime's Life Bars: 12/12. Blowwolf's Life Bars: 12/12. Forcescream's Life Bars: 10/10. Bulkhead's Life Bars: 10/10. Ironhide's Life Bars: 10/10. Punchcount's Life Bars: 10/10. Railrunner's Life Bars: 10/10."

Fortressimus deploys his Energon Swords, Artemesio deploys his Energon Mace, Blowwolf deploys his Energon Lightsaber, and Forcescream deploys his Master Sword.

Forcescream remarks, "You guys ready to rumble?!"

Bulkhead replies while deploying his wrecking ball on his right arm, "Oh, we're ready to rumble, boys!"

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "Begin!"

The eight combatants rush at each other.

Bulkhead swings his wrecking ball at Fortressimus, but he jumps aside and smacks Bulkhead in the face with the hilts of his Energon Swords two times.

Bulkhead reels back as Fortressimus brings out his own Energon Mace and smacks Bulkhead in the face three times.

Forcescream clashes swords with Ironhide, and Ironhide tries to take a swing with his Energon Axe, but Forcescream disarms Ironhide before smacking the weapon specialist with the Master Sword four times.

Blowwolf smacks Punchcount with his lightsaber five times before jumping back as Punchcount advances.

Artemesio smacks Railrunner with his Energon Mace six times before jumping to the side as Railrunner swings with a staff.

They clash mace and staff multiple times before engaging in a weapon lock.

Bulkhead launches his wrecking ball at Fortressimus, but he leaps out of the way.

Bulkhead remarks tauntingly, "Is that all you got, Commander? Come on now, see if you can do much better than that!"

Fortressimus eyes the life bar gauges, and they read, "Artemesio's Life Bars: 10/10. Fortressimus Prime's Life Bars: 12/12. Blowwolf's Life Bars: 12/12. Forcescream's Life Bars: 10/10. Bulkhead's Life Bars: 6/10. Ironhide's Life Bars: 5/10. Punchcount's Life Bars: 5/10. Railrunner's Life Bars: 4/10."

Fortressimus smiles evilly as he replies while turning his hands into replicas of Bulkhead's wrecking balls, "Okay then. Prepare to get wrecked, Wrecker!"

Forcescream deploys his Energon Chained Maces, Blowwolf deploys his chained flail maces, and Artemesio deploys his chained wrecking balls before charging.

As the others fight, Fortressimus jumps into the air before he and Bulkhead clashed with their wrecking balls, then Fortressimus flipped out of sight before smacking Bulkhead from behind with one wrecking ball.

As he regains his footing and turns around, Bulkhead launches both of his wrecking balls, but Fortressimus teleports behind Bulkhead, shrinking down to human height.

Fortressimus slams both of his wrecking balls into Bulkhead's legs, dropping his life bars by 2 bars.

Bulkhead stumbles, but Fortressimus slams one wrecking ball into his left leg, and then he rinses and repeats by launching the second wrecking ball into Bulkhead's right leg, sending him onto his back.

With Forcescream, he smacks Ironhide three times in the chest, then does a leg sweep, sending him to the floor.

Forcescream does a Superman Punch with one chained mace as Ironhide tries to get up, and then he jumps into the air before doing an elbow drop on Ironhide's chest without seriously damaging him.

Blowwolf dodges six blade attacks from Punchcount before slashing him four times, and then running circles around Punchcount before doing a charged running overhand punch that sends him into the wall without damaging it.

Artemesio dodges seven nunchaku attacks before smacking Railrunner twice before cloaking.

Railrunner looks around, and upon feeling a digit tap his backplate, he turns around to be met with a strong uppercut from the chained wrecking balls that sends him to the floor.

And Fortressimus jumps into the air, slamming one of his wrecking balls into Bulkhead's chestplate before jumping up again and he punches Bulkhead in the face without damaging him too badly.

Bulkhead, Ironhide, Railrunner, and Punchcount sit up, holding their heads in their hands.

Forcescream inquires, "Want to call this a match, boys?"

Bulkhead inquires with a groan, "Ugh. Ough. Ooh, commander, did you really have to use my own wrecking balls on me?"

Fortressimus answers, "Considering my height and muscle mass, and considering I'm going up against a heavy hitter with heavy weapons, I had to change tactics to win."

Ironhide then says, "Well, you certainly know how to wreck a Wrecker, commander."

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "Fortressimus, Artemesio, Forcescream, Blowwolf, well done on completing the second level without taking damage. Head through the next door to level three."

Fortressimus and the others salute their comrades like actual soldiers before going through the exit door.

In the next room, Fortressimus says, "Okay, fellas, listen. We have to be extra careful not to be cocky or reckless; things are getting harder, and even though we haven't taken any damage yet, we have to still avoid taking damage without being careless."

Forcescream replies, "Agreed, Peter."

Then the foursome sees that the third room was different, in the sense that there was large pillars, nooks, crannies, alleyway-style walls, and fog everywhere in the room for human heights and Cybertronian heights of various sizes.

The quartet walks into the room further, and they see Arcee standing there.

Blowwolf remarks, "Well, looks like we have to complete this stage, eh?"

Arcee replies, "Yes, but I'm not gonna make it easy for any of you boys."

Forcescream states, "Well, either way, only one of our groups will be winning, and the only way to know for sure is who stands strong."

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "Fortressimus, Forcescream, Artemesio, Blowwolf, your new task is not as easy as the last two. You four must reach the other end of the room and escape from Arcee. In that time, Arcee will be trying to divide and conquer to track either of you down and stop you. The point of this level is to use stealth to escape from an enemy who knows a thing or two about tracking down easy prey or difficult prey. You can't fight Arcee, but you can do anything possible to slow her down."

The quartet's heads-up displays read, "Orders Updated: Use stealth to escape from Arcee and reach the second end of the room. Artemesio's Life Bars: 40/40. Fortressimus Prime's Life Bars: 42/42. Blowwolf's Life Bars: 35/35. Forcescream's Life Bars: 36/36. Arcee's Life Bars: 6/6."

Then the foggy room turned dark, and red lights turned on in the floor just in case anyone tripped over anything or even nothing at all.

Fortressimus and the others were given a 20 second head start, and they quickly cloaked as soon as they found separate areas to hide in to cool down their cloaking fields, which thankfully were dark enough to hide even the lights from their optics.

After about three minutes, they were in the final nooks and crannies to cool down their cloaking shields for an additional ten seconds.

There was a big clear area close to the exit, with nowhere to hide.

After hearing Arcee pass by them using some hard light holograms to lead her astray, the foursome cloaks one more time, and they slip by Arcee as fast and quietly as possible.

By the time Arcee realized she was tricked, the doors closed and the holograms disappeared.

Arcee growls, "Ugh! Holograms! I can't believe I fell for the oldest trick in the book!"

Arcee went to meet up with the others to watch the final five challenges.

After about twenty-four minutes of completing four more challenges without taking damage that revolved around saving as many humans as possible within a certain time limit, taking down as many Decepticons as possible within a time limit and without resorting to more extreme methods, etc., the quartet makes it to the final challenge room.

The final room looked like a battle arena, and as soon as the quartet makes it into the room, the doors closed, and they saw Optimus come inside from the other end.

Optimus crosses his arms over his chestplate before saying, "You four have worked exceptionally hard to get to this point. Defeating four of my Autobots without taking any damage whatsoever, saving as many humans as possible within a time limit, defeating as many Decepticons as possible within a time limit without resorting to Decepticon methods, and taking down as many Terrorcons as possible with every resource at your disposal is a video game style platinum reward in of itself."

Blowwolf remarks before asking, "Heh, nice video game reference. But in all seriousness, you sure you can take on all four of us at the same time? Our combined nigh godlike power might be a little too much for you, Optimus."

Optimus drops his arms to his sides as he answers, "I assure you, Blowwolf, I can handle it. Physicality and previous damages aside, I am much stronger than I look."

Blowwolf nods.

Ratchet says over the P.A., "All right, you four. Your final challenge, as you can see, is pretty much easy and simple. I'm transmitting the data to your heads-up displays now."

The information on their HUDs read as follows, "Orders Updated: Defeat Optimus Prime in a four-on-one fight. Artemesio's Life Bars: 100/100. Fortressimus Prime's Life Bars: 100/100. Blowwolf's Life Bars: 100/100. Forcescream's Life Bars: 100/100. Optimus Prime's Life Bars: 180/180."

Fortressimus, Forcescream, Blowwolf, and Artemesio deploy their battle masks, helmets, visored helmets, and visored battle masks, Optimus deploys his own battle mask, and all five combatants got in prepared battle stances.

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "Final battle. Fight!"

Fortressimus and the quartet sprints towards Optimus, and the Autobot leader got ready.

Fortressimus deploys his Energon Swords, and he and Optimus clashed swords.

Fortressimus pushed back with all of his might before breaking the lock by headbutting Optimus, executing a Wing Chun Punch, a roundhouse upward axe kick, and a Superman uppercut.

Optimus falls onto his rear end, but he manages to get back up as Blowwolf swings at him with an Energon Mace.

Optimus dodges the swing and tries to swing one of his swords at Blowwolf, only for Blowwolf to block the swing and punch Optimus in the chestplate, making him reel back.

Forcescream shrinks to human size and deploys an Energon Grappling Hook, pulling himself onto Optimus left arm and launching himself into Optimus' face.

Forcescream deploys a wrecking ball and smashes Optimus in the face, making him stagger backwards in pain as Forcescream returns back to his normal height.

Optimus shakes his temporary dizziness, only to see Artemesio deploy an Energon Axe and an Energon Sword.

Knowing that he himself doesn't have a shield anymore, Optimus prepared himself as Artemesio charges.

Artemesio tries to pin Optimus to the back wall with a swing from his Energon Axe, only for Optimus to grab the swinging arm, spin Artemesio around and punch him in the back before grabbing him from behind and throwing him face first into the wall, making him smack against it.

Optimus turns around to block a hammer strike from Forcescream's Energon Hammer and punch him in the gearbox before executing a roundhouse kick that sends him flying back.

Blowwolf leaps towards Optimus and does a shield bash to Optimus' back that sends him stumbling forward, and then follows it up with a spinning flip kick to his head.

But as soon as the kick connects, Optimus grabs Blowwolf's offending leg and throws him into a recovering Artemesio, but Blowwolf immediately does backward handspring before backflipping three times and then landing on his pedes.

Blowwolf reconfigures his hands into Fusion Cannons and he starts shooting at Optimus while staying on the move.

Optimus deploys his own Ion Blasters and does the exact same thing.

Blowwolf also shrinks to his human height and changes one hand into a sword before charging to get up close and personal.

Blowwolf jumps into the air thanks to his jet thrusters and raises his left arm to make Optimus think he was going for a high divebomb hammer strike.

Optimus goes for a block, but Blowwolf slides in between Optimus' legs, brings out one of his chained maces, and launches it towards Optimus' right leg, striking it.

Optimus kneels in pain at the shock, and Blowwolf uses a rip-line to launch himself at Optimus' left leg, smashing his other mace into it.

Optimus gets to both knees in pain.

Blowwolf then jumps onto Optimus' back and fires three Energon blasts into it.

Optimus rises to his maximum height, but Blowwolf jumps off and turns invisible while also returning to his own full robot mode height.

Blowwolf decloaks in front of Optimus and sucker punches him in the face.

But just as Blowwolf was going to jump up into the air again, Optimus shoots him while in mid-air, sending him flying onto the floor across the arena.

Fortressimus checks the life bar count, and it reads, "Artemesio's Life Bars: 98/100. Fortressimus Prime's Life Bars: 100/100. Blowwolf's Life Bars: 99/100. Forcescream's Life Bars: 98/100. Optimus Prime's Life Bars: 166/180."

Fortressimus deploys his minigun and shoots at Optimus, but only two bullets impacted, and the others were deflected by his swords as he returned fire.

Fortressimus deploys one Path Blaster and one Battle Blade as soon as he gets close enough, and he blocks Optimus' own sword before firing a round into Optimus' chestplate.

Optimus staggers, and as Fortressimus was going to do a Hover-Slam attack, Optimus catches Fortressimus in mid-air and throws him across the arena before firing off three rounds.

Fortressimus lands on his pedes, and he sees Optimus rushing towards him while firing off more Energon rounds.

Fortressimus deploys a gun and sword again, and as soon as he gets in range, Optimus holds Fortressimus at gun and blade point.

After checking the statuses again, Fortressimus states, "I yield."

Ratchet then says over the P.A., "That's it, end of test."

Optimus and Fortressimus separated and deactivated their weapons, same with the others.

Optimus says, "I am rather impressed that you fought me to the very end despite not being handicapped and despite not relying on any of your powers. Yet you were outnumbered in strength and experience."

Fortressimus points out, "Well, despite the fact that Earth martial arts can counter Cybertronian martial arts in some cases, you're much more skilled in combat than either of us because you have four million years of experience and training."

Optimus replies before querying, "That is true. But do you know what the goal of the test is?"

Fortressimus answers, "Yes. To show what the values of being a true Autobot soldier are, and to uphold them against all odds."

Forcescream inquires, "And what are they?"

Optimus explains, "You four won against Bumblebee, Brown Mark, Fire Jacket, and Stormbug by forcing them into surrendering instead of defeating them head-on. You four changed tactics when you faced Bulkhead, Ironhide, Railrunner, and Punchcount despite not suffering any damage. You never fought Arcee, but instead you used evasion and misdirection. You saved as many holographic humans as you could without trying harder to save the ones fated to die. You defeated as many holographic Decepticons as you could without taking damage and without wasting any time. You defeated as many Terrorcons as you could without being caught unawares and also without taking any damage. And neither of you may have been able to defeat me in a fair or unfair fight regardless of whether I would have had backup or not, but the four of you showed that despite the odds, you never gave up."

Artemesio inquires, "So, in essence, we showed the values of what being Autobots means?"

Optimus answers, "Yes, and for that, all of you have passed the test."

Fortressimus claps Artemesio's shoulder plates gently before shaking servos with Optimus while saying, "Just so you know, Optimus, the moves we used on you must be improved upon if you or anyone else intend to use them on respective opponents other than Megatron."

Optimus replies with a small smirk, "I will keep that in mind."

Later, as Fortressimus steps out of the wash racks with his armor attached, Downshell remarks, "So, you and the other boys fought Optimus and almost won?"

Fortressimus turns to see Downshell standing there with her servos on her hip plates and with a smirk on her faceplate.

Fortressimus answers, "Yes, but what Optimus pretty much guessed was that I chose not to rely on my powers in the fight, but rather I relied on my own human military combat training."

Downshell asks, "And human martial arts trumps against Cybertronian martial arts?"

Fortressimus answers, "In terms of the first fight between Optimus and Nemesis Prime in this universe, it shouldn't even be possible, but considering the fact that some specific elements of Cybertronian martial arts are the exact same as human martial arts, that combined with Silas controlling the Nemesis Prime robot makes him one of the few to fight Optimus to a standstill and win. But the majority of the time, such a concept is not commonplace in other Transformers universes because Cybertronian martial arts are millions of years older than human martial arts, and thus any techno-organics with robot modes or any humans reformatted into Cybertronians will never be able to defeat the likes of Optimus, Arcee, Elita One, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, Bumblebee, Airachnid, Dreadwing, Atlan, Autolauncher, Banzaitron, Bludgeon, Bugly, Buzzclaw, Cancer, Beast Wars Dead End, Decepticharge, Downshift, Greejeeber, RID 2001 Heavy Load, High Score 100, Iron Lift, Ironclad, Energon Ironhide, Jazz, Kick-Off, Kick-Over, Kobushi, the Mini-Con Landslide, Magna Stampede, Mantis, Motorarm, Oil Slick, Powerhug, RID 2001 Rollbar, Tyran cluster Sideswipe, Tap-Out, Whirl, X-Brawn, Barricade, Blackout, Borehole, Clench, Crasher, Dialman, Double Punch, Drancron, Drixco, Grimlock, Groundpounder, Hooligan, Hydrau, Lugnut, Prima, Scorponok, Sentinel Prime, Skyquake, Sunstreaker, Dai Atlas, Devcon, Drift, Grandus, Animated Heavy Load, Lockdown, Road Rocket, Roadhandler, Sky Garry, Springer, Star Saber, Deathsaurus, Star Upper, Ultra Magnus, Master Yoketron, Crosswise, Dragoyell, Gekisoumaru, Sixshot, Hishoumaru, Impala, Nightbird, Night, R.E.V., Sensuimaru, Shadow Panther, Sixknight, Greatshot, Armada Skywarp, Tarantulas, W.A.R.S., and Wingfinger among others."

Downshell states, "Heh, yeah, that's true."

As Fortressimus goes to get an Energon cube, Fortressimus remarks mentally, "Well, it's only a matter of time before we meet Heavyhide and his allies. Primus and God, please guide us."

The End.
