It was a normal day for the barely awake 14 year old Ahsoka at the Jedi Temple. She has been assigned to Master Skywalker for almost 3 months now.
Ahsoka POV
Kriff, why does my stomach hurt so bad… I thought, must be something I ate. I sat up and felt a weird gushing feeling between my legs but I shrugged it off.
Anakin POV
I woke up to this dull feeling of pain over the bond I made with my Padawan, I don't think it's something really urgent. I think I'm going to get ready to go to Padmé's.
Ahsoka POV
I went to the washer and that's when I saw blood. Blood. A wave of panic washed over but that is when I put the pieces together.
I'm a 14 and soon to be 15 year old girl and woke up to stomach pains and now blood between my legs. That was my first period.
How am I going to tell Skyguy? Does he even know about this? Maybe I could ask Barris about it so that is what I did. I stuffed some toilet paper and tried to walk casually to her dorm. Luckily she was awake already when I knocked on her door.
"Oh hi Ahsoka," she said "what's up, why are you here this early?" Barriss was 2 years older than me so I guess she must've started her period already.
"I'm here to uhhh…" Maybe this was a bad idea I thought… "Come on Ahsoka, you know you can talk to me about anything, I'm open for discussion with whatever you are going to say." Barris replied. "Ijuststartedmyperiod" I replied hastily and feeling the heat coming to my face.
Barriss replayed my words and said "Really? How are you feeling? Do you have any cramps? I got mine almost 2 years ago and it's horrible trust me. Do you need anything?" It took some time to register what she just said but I replied "I'm fine, I guess I just have some mild cramps but they are dealable. I don't know what I'm supposed to use though, right now, I only have toilet paper…" I blushed even deeper as my lekku turned a deeper shade of blue.
Barriss ushered me into her washer and opened a drawer. She starts to explain "I use tampons because they are much more comfortable for me to use" as she shows me her box of tampons "but I use pads to sleep since we can't keep a tampon in for more than 8 hours." I nodded "You could start with pads since they are easier to use because tampons go inside you." I thought for a moment and decided to give the tampons a try. The pad just looked uncomfortable. "I think I'm going to try a tampon." I said. Barris nodded as she gave me a box and exited the washers.
I stared at the box as I just couldn't wrap my mind on what just happened. I opened the box and found a small piece of paper with the instructions. I took out a tampon and perplexity filled my eyes. What the heck am I supposed to do with that? I thought as I reread the paper for at least the 5th time. It took me 3 tampons to actually succeed. I came out of the washers 10 min after.
"Here you are finally," Barriss said with a slight smirk "it took you long enough. You want to change it at least every 8 hours and you might want to have some pain medicine just in case your cramps get heavier. Does your Master know?" I shook my head. "Well good luck on telling him that." she replied with a mischievous wink "when I told my Master, she got so happy and said that she finally got a chance to explain the whole process to someone." she laughed. I gulped as I quietly said "Well, I guess I'm going to tell him now, wish me luck and also thanks." I started to exit the room when Barriss said "You can keep the box of tampons by the way, you might need that" I replied with a quick smile as I headed towards my Master's chamber.
Surprisingly he wasn't there so I returned to my room and commed him. He received my transmission and I took a deep breath. "Master," I said.
Anakin POV
I was chatting with my love when I received a transmission. I let out a small sight and replied. "Master," I heard Ahsoka say. "What's wrong?" I replied.
Ahsoka POV
Skyguy received my call, I guess it's time to tell him. "I started my period." I said as I flushed red. There was a silence on the other side while someone gasped. "Hey Ahsoka, it's Padmé" I heard "feel free to come to my place, we can spend a girl's day together!" Well I guess Skyguy's at Padmé's, "Okay sure" I replied "I'm heading there right now!"
Padmé POV
Ahsoka started her period. I guess I could help her with that.
Anakin POV
Ahsoka started her what? I don't really know what it was so I could just let my wife deal with that. Maybe let her explain to me also what it was. "Padmé, can you explain what a period is to me?" I flushed "I mean I do know the basics but can you just… elaborate…" She replied with a hearty sweet laugh.
Padmé POV
My love wanted me to do what? Oh well I guess I could, it would be preparation, "It's basically when a woman loses blood every month when their uterine wall comes off. It happens around 12 years old. I think I got mine when I was 13. Also don't go hard on Ahsoka when she's on it, she might be more sensitive than usual." Ani nodded. Just as I finished, I heard a knock at the door. I went to get it and a very embarrassed Ahsoka appeared. "Hi Ahsoka, come in, we could go shopping for some supplies together now!" I said. "Sure" she replied, completely ignoring the presence of her Master.
Ahsoka POV
I knocked at Padmé's door nervously. It was an awkward topic. Padmé greeted me with happiness so I was already partially relieved. I did notice my Master's presence but just decided it was great that he didn't ask more questions. Padmé suggested that I go shopping with her for some supplies. I mean, I couldn't refuse, so we headed out. When we arrived at a pharmacy, we headed for the personal care aisle and I saw an overwhelming amount of boxes of tampons and pads.
Padmé POV
I took Ahsoka to the pharmacy I usually go to for my period. I could see that she was overwhelmed by everything so I started asking some simple questions, "What are you wearing right now?" and she replied with "a tampon that Barriss gave me." Saying that I was surprised was an understatement. I was crying during my first period and refused to wear a tampon because I was so scared; Ahsoka is almost acting normal and unafraid. "Do you feel like it is comfortable?" I asked as she replied by a nod. "You could try these" as I pointed to a box of tampons from U by Kotex "They click when you pull them so you can make sure that they go completely in after, you could try regular sized and maybe super if your flow is heavier and need to change it every 1 or 2 hours." She grabbed 2 boxes and said "Barriss told me that I should wear a pad for sleeping, do you have any suggestions?" I smiled and replied, "I think you can try period underwear or pads, start with pads maybe" as I grabbed 2 boxes of Always night pads. "You also want some pain medicine," I said, "just in case your cramps get heavy." She went to grab a box of Advil. "Remember you can always reach out to me when you need help."
Ahsoka POV
After our shopping, we headed for a cafe where Padmé explained everything to me: "This would happen every around 28 days, it's normal for you to skip some at the beginning. Don't flush tampons and if you go swimming on it, put a tampon and never a pad." She continued her explanation and eventually we headed back.

Again, I swear each time, this is so annoying and I'm a week early. Now I need to take this whole stack of stuff to the mission. I put a tampon in and packed everything.

Why are my cramps so heavy? I felt a heavy gush when I stood up. Bantha shid, I bled through again, ughhhh. I changed into a pair of sweatpants as I started washing my leggings and skirt.

I joined Padmé at her apartment and took a seat on the couch. I flinched. Why my cramps now? Padmé noticed that and said "I'm on my period too, we synced!"

"Master help me!" I screamed as I ran to Obi-Wan's chambers. The only reaction I got was a small chuckle.
