[Ruby is happily walking in the hallway]
Ruby: I wonder how my pals are doing.
[Ruby opens the door. She finds Yang and Blake sitting on the floor crisscross applesauce and folding their arms as they're angrily pouting while looking away from each other]
Ruby: Okay. What's with the sour faces?
Blake: Yang and I can't seem to agree on which game to play. I suggested that we do knitting.
Yang: And I told Blake that's for sissies. I wanted us to try something a little more challenging like arm wrestling.
Blake: That's nothing more than simple-minded brute sport. A good game should be calm and relaxing.
Yang: It's not a game if there isn't any competition. Why can't you understand that, Scaredy Cat?
Blake: I understand perfectly what an overweening hussy you are.
Yang: OVERWEENING HUSSY!? WHY I OUGHTA!?
Ruby: Stop it! Stop it! Fighting isn't gonna fix anything. I know a proper way to settle this issue once and for all.
Yang: Well, what do you have in mind, sis?
Ruby: Hug!
Blake: You can't be serious. You actually want us to hug our problems out?
Ruby: Uh-huh! Like Grandma always said, "Trouble goes away with a cuddle."
[Yang and Blake look at each other for a moment before having a hug together]
Yang: You know, this isn't so bad. I'm actually enjoying it.
Blake: Me too. I feel like a happy kitty. Meow!
Ruby: See? I knew you two would get along. My work here is done. [She exits the room]
[A flurry of petals shows Ruby twirling her scythe happily. The transition ends. Ruby is walking in the hallway smiling with her eyes closed before coming to the door and opening it]
Ruby: It sure is a lovely day today.
Yang: [Offscreen] You can say that again.
[Ruby opens her eyes and look greatly shocked. Yang is covered in black kiss marks while having an infatuated smirk. She walks out of the room. Ruby takes a look and sees Blake wearing black lipstick]
Ruby: What just happened?
Blake: Hugs and kisses.
THE END
