[Lecture hall. 8:59 AM]

Professor Peter Port looks at a clock in the class.

"Hmm... While there is still a minute left I guess I can start now." He turns to the students. "Alright everyone. I shall now begin you lec-"

*SLAM*

"?!"

Everyone turned to the entrance. What they saw was... interesting.

Standing in front was 'Ruby' Rose, the 'special' student, as some call her. And right behind her was both her team, and team JNPR, consisting of, Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos and Lie Ren... with most of them on the ground exhausted. The only one still standing was Yang, but even she looked like she would collapse any second.

Nora was at least hanging off of the door frame, that was something.

'Ruby', currently Tanya, did a small curtsy and spoke in a sweet, innocent sounding voice. "My apologies to the professor. We were jogging and got a little carried away. I hope we aren't late."

Obviously that was a lie, but Tanya already made it perfectly clear that if they said anything, then the next 'jog' will be even worse.

Professor Port, however, seemed to take what Tanya said at face value.

"A jog you say? That does take me back. And don't worry, Ms. Rose. You, your team, and team JNPR are..." He looks at his watch. "one minute early"

Tanya smiled. "That's a relief. We'll just take our seats now."

Tanya motioned to her 'friends' and sister and they all went to take their seats.

[20 minutes later]

The class was... mostly uneventful. Outside of the occasional question, Port was mostly just rambling about his old days and his feats (whether or not they were exaggerated was still up in the air, but most of the students believed that they were).

Some students fell asleep, others weren't paying much attention. Weiss, ever striving to be the perfect student, made sure to write down everything Port said, regardless of where or not it was important, just in case.

As for Tanya... Well, she was also paying close attention to the story. She smiled at the more violent parts of the Old Man's tale. The fact that she even cared at all came as a shock to both Weiss and Blake, while Yang had a look of relief, but also one of doubt, like she could sense something that the others couldn't.

Eventually Port finished and took a bow, while the students (at least the ones who were paying attention) clapped.

Port clears his throat. "In conclusion, the moral of this story goes as follows. A true huntsman must be honorable. A true huntsman must be dependable. A true huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise!"

As Port said those things, Weiss looked at Tanya. From what Weiss has experienced so far, She would be lying if she said that Tanya wasn't strategic and well-educated. Like it or not, she knew how to run that 'jog' and she knew a lot about the world based on the things she would talk about in the background while Weiss, the rest of the team, and team JNPR suffered. She could also tell that Tanya was way smarter than a lot of people her age, so she could hold some genuinely good wisdom. And of course, Weiss would hope that she would be able to depend on Tanya in the future. Weiss believed that Tanya had all of those (which is already a lot more than what she could say for the curranty 'sleeping' Ruby.) but there was one thing that Weiss could tell that she didn't have, the one trait that, based on yesterday, Ruby had that Tanya didn't, 'honor'.

[Flashback]

"Again."

Tanya looked down to see Jaune still on the ground.

"Hey. 'Vomit Boy' as my other half calls you."

"Th-The name's Jau-"

"I don't care. AND I SAID GET UP!"

Tanya then kicked Jaune in the stomach, causing the poor man to land on his side.

"JAUNE!" Pyrrha yelled.

Tanya quickly turned him on his stomach and stepped on his head, and then just scoffed. "You're supposed to be a team leader? What a joke. You being here at all is a joke, honesty! What were the staff on when they accepted you!? Tell me, so I can make sure that I never go near that shit for the rest of my life!"

Pyrrha stared at Tanya, radiating something that's not exactly hate, but definitely a mild version of it.

Pyrrha spoke: "Hey. Could you maybe not talk to Jaune that way-"

"Huh?" Tanya interrupted. "Sorry, Ms. Champion slut, but I don't remember asking for your opinion ONCE in that whole exchange! Shut your fucking mouth!"

Pyrrha said nothing after that, still in shock from being both yelled at, and called a slut.

"Excuse me?!" Weiss snapped. "Do you have the slightest Idea about who you're talking to like tha-!?"

"Again. I never asked for your opinion either, princess. I know damn well who Pyrrha Nikos is, and how useful she can be, but, news flash, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ANY OF THAT SHIT, OKAY!?"

"You- !?"

Tanya got right up to Weiss's face and grabbed her neck.

"As for you, you need to learn your place. I'M the leader and YOU are my team mate. I am the queen and YOU are the peasant! And do you know what queens did to people who questioned them? They would either beat them to submission, or to death. I wonder which one you will-"

"TANYA!"

"Yes sister?"

"That's enough! Please keep in mind that you shouldn't be here yourself. It's... a miracle that you're here with me at all, and I don't want you to waste it. Just, go easy on them."

Tanya stared at Weiss for a little bit before letting go and sighing. "Fine." Tanya went to Weiss's ear and whispered. "Be thankful that my sister is here." Tanya stood up. "Now come on, we're running to class, unless you maggots want to be late."

Everyone looked at their scrolls, and sure enough, it was 8:55, five minutes till class.

"It would be a shame to be late on your first days, SO MOVE!"

Everyone stood at attention. "YES MA'AM!" They all said, not including Yang.

"She's scary... I like her." Said Nora to... herself.

[End of flashback]

Despite Weiss's experience with split personalities Tanya was way too much. Tanya did, however, give Weiss a new goal, or rather, reinforce the one that she already had. She would prove that she could be a better leader then both Ruby AND Tanya.

Port continued. "So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?"

Weiss shoots her hand up, just a few milliseconds ahead of Tanya. "I do sir!"

Tanya lowered her hand.

"Next time." Yang whispered.

Port continued. "Well then, let's find out." Port turned to a cage, housing an angry Grimm. "Step forward, and face your opponent."

Weiss got up to get her weapon and battle clothes, before suddenly stopping. "Hey, Princess." Tanya started. Weiss braced herself for more of Tanya's verbal abuse, only for Tanya to... smile? "Win this one for the team." She said in her 'sweet' voice.

[A few minutes left]

"GOOO WEISS!"

"Fight well!"

"Team RWBY's counting on you princess."

"Guy's, I'm trying to focus."

"SORRY!"

"Hmph."

Sighing, Weiss re-readied herself.

"Are you prepared, Ms. Schnee?" Port asked. Weiss simply nodded. "Alright. Let the match begin."

Port hit the cage with his ax, opening it to reveal a Boarbatusk, a relatively weak Grimm.

The monster charged at Weiss at full speed, but Weiss quickly dodged it and slashed it.

Port laughed. "Wasn't expecting that were you?"

Weiss ignored that comment and kept staring at the beast, before using her semblance to charge at it like she was jousting. However, she ended up getting her weapon stuck between its tusks

Port, once again, laughed, and even praised the boldness. "Bold, new approach. I like it!"

Weiss continued to struggle.

Tanya decided to try and 'help'. "Come on Princess, show that swine who's boss!"

Weiss stared at her, whether it was out of annoyance or shock was not something even Weiss herself knew, but that distraction cost her. The boar quickly took control and flung Weiss's weapon behind it and pushed Weiss down, causing her Aura to flicker a bit. "Gugh!"

Port once again, laughed. "Oho, now what will you do without your weapon?"

Weiss struggled to get up, but her flight reflex quickly came in as the Grimm charged at her again. She was still very sore in the morning and the hit she took brought that pain back up, but she forced herself to run towards her weapon to pick it up.

The soreness might have played a part in, but Weiss's main problem was Tanya. Is she trying to make her mess up?

Tanya just smiled, and Weiss hated it. Tanya was enjoying this, wasn't she!?

"Hey, Princess-"

"STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT!" Weiss snapped.

"!?"

Before either girl could say anything, the Grimm roared and began to spin like a wheel, an attack this species was known for.

Weiss composed herself just enough to summon a glyph to act as a shield. The Grimm hit it, and landed on its back.

Finally having an opening, Weiss jumped onto her own glyph, used it to propel herself forward and stabbed the boar right in its soft belly.

With one final squeal, the Grimm died and disappeared into darkness.

Port clapped. "Bravo! Braa-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in training." He turned to the rest of the class. "I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings, and stay vigilant. Class dismissed!"

Weiss and Tanya stared at each other for a bit, before Weiss decided to just leave.

"Sheesh. What's with her?" Asked Nora.

Tanya got up. "Excuse me dear sister, and... Blake, was it? As leader I have to go deal with our little, 'princess problem'." After saying this, Tanya left.

Blake and Yang looked at each other. "Should we-?"

"Yeah. I have to make sure Tanya doesn't hurt her."

Blake nodded and the two got up, with team JNPR coming as well.

[Meanwhile]

"Princess!"

"What!? And I have a name you know!? It's Weiss! W-E-I-S-S, WEISS!"

"Don't yell at me! I'm your leader! What the hell is wrong with you!?"

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you, you... FREAK!"

"Excuse me!?"

"First of all, 'RUBY' was made by our leader, not you! And that doesn't even matter! You're supposed to be a leader and all you've been is a patronizing, sadistic... BITCH!"

"Look who's fucking talking! My other half wrote about it in her journal, you know? About how you two met yesterday, how you acted! Trust me, I don't like her either. She's childish, annoying, way too ignorant of the world, and her dietary choices are shit! Do you know how much work I have to do to get off all the weight she gains eating cookies!? Yet you tell me that I'm acting too high and mighty? You!? A Schnee!?"

"I saw how you looked at me! Those patronizing eyes of yours, taking joy when I messed up, mistakes which by the way, YOU HELP WITH! Ruby's done nothing to earn her position, and you certainly didn't either! All you did was usurp a position that you just woke up and you're already acting like the school belongs to you and me, the rest of the team, and team JNPR are your playthings! If professor Ozpin knew about this he would've never-"

"Say one more word and you're dead."

"Huh?"

"You have some nerve to speak to your leader that way, and even more nerve to bring my sister AND professor Ozpin into this! You have no FUCKING right to bring any of that up! I'm just doing what anyone should do, train my soldiers, and team JNPR because I know damn well that the failure of a man leading them isn't going to do it himself! All of you should be thanking me really, and I know you will thank me later."

"You little-"

"That's it."

"Huh- AH!" Just like this morning, Weiss found herself being choked by Tanya.

"I told you very clearly, 'say one more word and you're dead'. Maybe living the high life got to your head. Allow me to bring you down a few level-!"

"TANYA!"

"?"

Tanya let Weiss go and turned to see Yang, Blake, and team JNRP standing behind her. "Sister..."

"What are you doing!?"

"About to teach this little bitch a lesson on respecting her superiors!"

"Look, Weiss has a lot to deal with, Ruby doesn't like her ether, but you'll just end up going too far!"

"You're afraid I'll kill her? I thought you had more trust in me!"

"I never said that. I know you wouldn't kill another person or faunus, but that's not-"

"Then you have nothing to worry about."

Deciding to say something, Jaune stepped up. "Hey, I don't really know what's going on, but-"

"STAY OUT OF THIS!"

"Y-YES MA'AM!" Well that was short.

Weiss knew this wasn't going anywhere. "I don't even know why I'm still here. I'm leaving!"

Tanya's attention went straight back to Weiss. "If you even take one step away from that spot I'm gonna-"

"BUTTERFLY!"

"..."

"..."

"..."
"..."

"... Excuse me, Nora?"

"Above us! IT'S SO CUTE!"

The rest of the seven looked up to see a red and yellow butterfly. The insect fluttered down towards the group, everyone stood still so as to not scare the beautiful creature... Well, that's why seven of them were standing still. Unlike the others who were in aww, Tanya was on edge.

Nora noticed. "What's wrong? Don't tell me you're scared of-"

"Of course not, now shut up. Just let me- !?" Before she could continue, the butterfly landed right on Tanya's nose, looked at her face... and dropped a bit of pollen on her.

"Awwww, no fair..." Said Nora. However, Tanya just stood there in silence... for a few seconds before shouting.

"SHIT!" The butterfly got frightened by the noise and flew away.

"Awww, it's gone..."

Ignoring Nora for a second, Yang turned to Tanya. "Hey, what was that about-"

"I'm not ready, I'M NOT!"

Blake looked confused. "What do you mean by 'not ready'?"

"I still have something to... to..." Tanya held her nose.

Now Yang knew what was wrong. "Guys. Get ready."

Tanya fought back against the urge she was feeling, but ultimately, it was futile. "Ah..." realizing it was pointless. "Ah..." Tanya "ACHOO!" let out a powerful sneeze, and slumped over

Weiss, Blake, and team JNPR looked at her with concern. "Yang?" Blake started.

"Is she... okay?" Ren finished.

"She'll be fine, but like I said, get ready."

After a few more seconds, Tanya's body started to move again, and then she... yawned.

"*Yawn* Is it morning already...?" She asked, but she sounded... different. Her voice sounded sweet, but this time it felt genuine. That's when it hit them like a cargo truck. "Hmm? Yang...? Everyone...? Where... are we? And why are you all in your... uniforms... Wait. Yang, was she...?"

"Yes... You must've sneezed last night."

Ruby turned to the others. "So... you all saw...?" They nodded.

"She was fun!" Said Nora, but Ruby didn't care.

"I..." Ruby used her semblance and flew straight up, before stopping midair and falling on her hands and knees. "I AM SO SO SOOOOOOOOO SORRY!"

Everyone was taken aback. "R-Ruby-" Weiss started, forgetting her anger for a moment, before she was cut off.

"Please don't take anything Tanya might've said to you seriously, I swear I didn't mean any of it! You don't have to forgive my little sister, BUT PLEASE FIND IT IN YOUR HEARTS TO FORGIVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Nobody knew what to say, the shock of seeing her personality change so drastically probably playing a part in it. And now she was begging for forgiveness.

That's when a certain someone made himself known. "My, my. Now isn't this an unusual sight?" It was Professor Ozpin.

The students all turned to him, but he continued before they could say anything. "Relax, kids. I already know about Tanya. Maybe we should have this conversation elsewhere."

It took all of 10 seconds for the students present and in the know to realize what Ozpin had just said.

"Wait, what!?" came their collective cry. Ruby especially was shocked.

The shouting, of course, drew the attention of others passing in the hallway.

"Quite," the headmaster deadpanned, "Well, let's continue this in my office shall we?" Glancing at each other nervously, the group of eight followed the headmaster to the elevator.
