Same. Nothing changed. The wind outside the colony still blew as hard as ever, while the snow still fell the same. There was nothing new to be found while everything around was the same. But that didn't stop Serial Designation Disassembly Drone Ñ from finding something new at least. He walked through the metal hallways in hopes of finding something new and exciting. There was no other drone since they were in school or doing their own job.

Normally he would be with the daughter of door master Khan Doorman, Uzi Doorman. Since their reunion at Prom, both of them have grown really close with each other and as a result, are never seperated from each other. They say best friends, others say something else and greater. But today was different, since he wasn't with her. When he went to see her, she wasn't there at her dorm. And it was very strange to him since Uzi always told him where she would go. But maybe she has something to do that was private. He only hopes that she is okay.

But speaking of Uzi, down the corner of the hallway was none other than Khan Doorman, father of his girl - best friend. Something was different about him too. He was hunched over, drinking black coffee, leaning against the wall. Normally, he would be standing up straight and have a smile on his face. But he didn't. Everything about him was droopy and screamed sadness, even his moustache. Concerned, N walked upto him cautiously, not wanting to scare him.

" Are you okay?"

Silence. No words came from the mouth of the depressed man hunched over, holding a lukewarm cup of coffee.

" Khan?" A mixture of two voices frightened the moustache off of the man's face. He almost spilled his coffee as he looked to his left, where for a split second he saw purple hair, only for it to immediately change to N's face.

" O-Oh, it's you, N. My daughter's friend. How can I help you?"

" Don't you mean how can I help you? What's wrong? You seem very down." Khan looked away, still depressed and sad. N tilted his head, wondering what was wrong with him. Khan glanced over to him, and gave a heavy sigh of regret.

" Today is...not a regular day. Not to me, not to Uzi. Today...was the day I lost the joy in my life; Nori." N felt a DD tail stab his heart when he heard that name. Nori. Uzi never much talked about Nori. It could've been due to the fact that she never knew her Mom. And that was a painful fact. Not knowing who your own parent was. N could relate deeply.

" So that's why Uzi wasn't in her dorm. Now I understand. Shoukd I go see her? Find her? Comfort her? Give her a hug? Make her a drawing? A biscuit? ...No. I am the last person she wants to see. The last thing she wants to see at all. But I want to do something for her. But what? Drones don't necessarily celebrate death. There is no accustom or program for that. Maybe...I think I know who I should ask!"

Unleashing his wings, N sped towards the form of the one drone, and possibly only drone who could help him in this direction time of need.

" Okay, now at this point, his health is below 35%. The game wants you to use your utlimate attack to immediately one shot him, but if you do that, it'll actually only bring it down to 16%. If you haven't been playing carefully or as professionaly, you'll die. It's why you want to get his health as low as you can until you have one heart left. Then you can," the drone with the red cap quickly pressed the buttons on the controller in such a quick and ridiculous motion," BOOM! DEAD! Game over for the Lord of Darkness!"

The two girl drones by his sides were very impressed by his knowledge of the game as they hugged his arms while he was playing.

" That's pretty cool. I would've probably had to die too many times to defeat him. You're pretty awesome at games, Thad." The pink colored eye drone stared at the many names rolling down the screen. Thad blushed lightly while smiling greatly.

" Not as awesome as you, Lizzy." Thad gave finger guns to Lizzy, who was now blushing pink as she looked away, attempting to cover her blush.

«Это тоже была потрясающая игра! Можете ли вы показать нам еще какие-нибудь классные игры?» The red corlored eye hugged his arm even tighter in excitement. Thad blushed a slight bit more this time as the shy russian girl hugged his arm.

" Of course I have more games Doll! The same way I have lots of love for you both! " Thad gave finger guns to both girls, shooting hearts at them at their now dark blushing faces. Lizzy looked away, with running heart beats, while Doll look down blushing dark red and screaming on the inside. A knock came on the door, surprising the both of fhem.

" Hm, my parents shouldn't be home now. I wonder who that could be." Thad exited his room and into the main dorm room. He looked to the door and saw a tall, innocent drone standing outside the door, peeking through the window and waving high. Thad immediately bolted to the door, opened it and hugged him.

" N!" N smiled as he hugged him back, always enjoying hugs from his friends and close ones. Since the day N and Uzi saved the colony from the takeover of the Eldritch terror that was J, Thad has looked up to N as a huge role model. A, too much to admit it, big brother. Unknown to Thad, N felt the same way as well.

" Great to see you too Thad! How you doing?"

" I'm doing great man! I'm just you know, chilling in the room with-," Thad quickly stopped himself as he slowly turned red remembering who he was with," - myself. Yep! Myself!"

" Well that's a lie Thad! I can tell there are two others in your room! " N smiled as he looked down at Thad who realized that he had been caught lying. Thad himself forgot that N is a DD with heightened sense and he is able to tell where drones are hiding given his experience. He let out a small sigh with an anxious smile.

" I-I'm with Doll and Lizzy. We're just chilling in my room playing games." Thad hoped N wouldn't get the wrong idea about one guy chilling with his two girl best friends. But how could someone as innocent as N get any ideas like that?

" Oh that's awesome! And kind of unfortunate for me since you're busy right now."

" Well, what is it you need?"

" It has something to do with Uzi. And I know it's your help I specifically need for something like this. Well, if you can of course." Something that he himself can help with? Thad wondered what exactly is it that he has that a DD needs. But it shouldn't take too long if they work together.

" Well, if we're quick about it, then I can definitely help you!" N gave an excited :D as his tail wagged. Thad quickly returned to his room back to the two girls who looked at him.

" Heya, so, I have to do something very quick with NN, so I won't take long, ok?" Lizzy gave him a dissatisfied face while Doll gave him a sad face. Thad didn't like to see his friends with sad faces. But if he wanted to be quick he had to do something. Then, his brilliant mind thought of something.

N was still waiting outside and saw Thad running towards the door extremely red. N had never seen Thad so flustered before or in such a hurry. It's like he did something very embarrassing and is running away from the deed.

" Th -"

" We can go!"

" Ok! :) "

Footsteps of metal echoed the colony hallways, heading down to the older section of the colony. The walls started getting more stained and rusted. This part of the colony was older than the more newer parts. Lights were flickering as they ran on their last watt to provide the smallest visibility possible. Walking down, N explained his plan to Thad who was giving full attnrtkon.

" I did know about Ms. Doorman's death. Uzi told me about it and I felt bad for her. She would go outside the colony and spend the entire day alone. No matter how heavy the snow, how strong the wind, how dark the night. She said it was her way of feeling her essence. Every anniversary." No smile was present on Thad's face. Not that there should be. No smile can make him experience even the smallest amount of what it's like to have no mother. Grateful everyday for having his parents still with him.

N's face was just as sad as he didn't know this about Uzi. Add that to the list of things he didn't know about his bestfriend. It seems everyday he always found something new that was tragic and depressing about her. It was never easy for her. But now he hopes that now that he is here, he wants to make sure she doesn't experience the pain alone.

" Well I want to do something for her. A nice thing on this dark day. And I know you," N put his hand on his head," can help me." Thad smiled with a light blush. They approached a rather old heavy door covered with rust and worn screws that would never turn. Thad approached the left side of the door and punched it, making it open. They both looked at each other and gave a :D.

Stepping in, N was astounded by the collection. It was a large collection of human records, artifacts, legends. Everything about it screamed discovery and wonder for drones that were secluded to one single planet without any knowledge of the outside space. The bright white lights shined through the dust and worn papers. A couple of drone bugs crawled all over the books and hid under the tables.

" So, what is it that you need, big bro?"

" Not all dark days have to be a grim reminder. For Uzi, I want her to know her that Ms. Doorman's death shouldn't be remembered as a dark thing of the past. I want to do something for her that could make her remember her in a light. I don't know how to explain it, but I want to do something that could make it a good day to remember her." N was trying to find his words. He was truly dedicated to making something for his closest friend. Thad hears the struggle in his words, but the intention radiated sunshine.

" Hm, I think I know exactly what could you actually! Yeah, it's perfect!" Thad eyes raidiated brightly as he hurdled towards the shelves of books. He looked up and realized the Human Culture was at the top shelf. He jumped up, trying to reach it. But alas, he struggles as he is unable to reach it at such a height. N picks him up from behind and sits him on his shoulders where he is now able to reach the books.

" Thanks bro! Now let's see if - here it is!" Thad grabbed the book and tried to pull it out, but it was stuck. One tug appearantly wasn't enough so he used both hands to pull it out. N felt his struggle as he kept leaning forward and back.

" You got it Thad?"

" Of courtsey! I'm strong like youUH!" Thad finally pulled out the book, but lost his balance as he fell back, but luckily N had a good grip around the lower part of his legs so he couldn't fall back. Thad sighed of relief and pat N's head to put him down. N put the shorter drone down and Thad layed the book on top of the dust covered table where the dust flew everywhere. N looked at the cover of the old leather book and it read:

" Cultures of the world; 54th edition. You think this will have something that will help me?"

" Yep! All we have to do," Thad opened the book skipping to page 153," is find the right page. And look! First guess and I already landed on where it should be! There's a country on Earth that created a holiday called Deea De Loz Muerdoz. It's another language so it's sounds a bit weird when we pronounce it. But ' it is a joyous time where family and friends honor their dead loved ones. It's to keep them alive in memory. During these two days, their spirit crosses the bridge between the living and the dead and visit us. An alter is created with photos and memorable items from their life along with foods, drinks, toys, and other items. Through this celebration, folks are able to honor their lost loved ones. N, what do you -"

N had the most brightest smile on his face. The words that were read to him from Thad have never sounded so bright and clear. A holiday that celebrates loved ones with decorations and fun stuff! And he thought he was crazy for thinking of the idea. But he was elated to know that he could make this for Uzi. To help cheer her up. To help his friend.

" Thad, the task before me is now clear! And it's all thanks to you!" In a joy, N gave Thad the biggest hug he could ever give. Thad blushed lightly but hugged back. It felt great helping N out.

" Well, I should hurry up before Uzi gets back! Aw man I'm gonna have to borrow this book! "

" Want I should help?"

" I would gladly appreciate it, but aren't you gonna keep your girlfriends waiting Thad?" Not really knowing the actual meaning of girlfriend, N looked at the now blushing mess Thad with a smile. Thad covered his face with his hat.

" T-They're just friends. And I think I should have enough time to help you out quickly! So let's do this!" Thad raised his hand up for a high five. N gave him a high five and now operation drone death celebration was in action.

" Look sweetie, you see how the snow falls ever so gently? That's us. Me, your father, and everyone else in the colony. One day, we will become a part of the snow and touch the grounds of this planet, to remain attached to it forever. You may not understand me now since you're still too little, but even if we do become the light of the stars, the rain of thunder, the fog of clouds, the snow of blizzard, I'll become a part of you. Forever and always."

" Doesn't seem like forever."

She hugged her knees close to her, sitting on an abandoned car facing the two moons. The moons seemed closer tonight, but she didn't care for that. The same way the colony didn't care for her. The same way her father didn't care for her. The same way her mother didn't care how her own death would impact her...no. That was too harsh for even someone like Uzi Doorman to think or say.

But how can a child stay so positive with the loss of a mother and the neglect of her father and her entire so called home? How was she too handle this by herself? Without the guidance of the one person who showed her the way to life, the way to accept everything. To accept flaws and perfections. To accept the tiniest cell and the biggest universe. But she didn't teach her to accept when her time would unexpectedly come.

The snow fell the same. The wind felt the same. The moonlights shined the same. The metal rusted the same. Why is it that everything else so insignificant around her remained the same while the one person who truly loved her changed? Changed from being there for her to now being who knows where? One thing hasn't changed for Uzi these years.

The lamentation of her mother.

" Exactly like they said; on top of the fifth car heading down."

Without even turning, Uzi knew who the voice belonged to. Approaching behind her was one of the Disassembly Drones that was sent down here to Copper 9. Wearing a winter vest coat and a red scarf was the angel of the squad; Serial Designation V. Uzi wasn't suprised or shocked when she heard V approaching her. At this point, nothing could really ease the same grief she did every year. Not even the nanite acid of a disassembly drone. The nanite acid of a disassembly drone that killed her mother. And one of them was walking to her. What a surprise.

" Hi."

" How are you?" V stood next to her as she sat on top of the car, looking up at the same two moons Uzi was staring at. Her mouth was covered by her scarf as the wind blew harshly especially in this area where no mountains stopped the flow of the winds.

" Fine." The moonlights of the two moons still managed to break through the winds to give Uzi the slightest comfort in this darkness.

" N is worried about you. A lot." The weightless words felt like a planet falling upon Uzi. She stayed quiet, still gazing at the two moons. She is aware her best friend, Serial Designation N, former disassembly drone of JC Jenson, was concerned about her. Even if she didn't seem him today, she knows he is probably looking for as she mourns.

" I know he is. But I don't want him to see him like this. " Memories of N flowed through her head. Smiles, laughs, :Ds, hand holding, gentle talks, hugs, tall man short girl hugs. Everything about him was everything she wasn't. Bright, overjoyful, determined, tall, happy. She didn't want that joy to see her like this. At least not given the context.

" I don't want to see you like this either. But here we are." V's eyes shifted to Uzi's presence. " How does it feel? The snow, the wind, everything around you? Does it help?"

" It helps me feel someone who isn't here anymore. How we used to hang out here, play in the snow, create snow drones, have snowball fights, and stare at the moons. Doing this at least helps me." Uzi's eyes still gazed upon the two lights. Memories of N were now replaced with memories of a beautiful drone woman with purple hair. Her smile, gentle words, lily beauty, and soothing touch. All of her, she missed deeply.

V stayed quiet. What could one say to a person grieving the loss of the one person who truly loved them above anyone else. She doesn't know how it feels. She doesn't know how she feels. It's something that she wants to relate to her, but is glad she doesn't have to. She turned to face her.

" You don't have to say you don't want me here. Why you don't want N here. I know one of us are responsible for your mother's death. Wether it be the dead soul of my leader, the innocent drone who is now attached to you, or the maker of orphans here. Why you choose to stay out here. You want to at least feel like everything is normal and the same. That you wish your mother was still here to know that that nothing will change and will stay the same. But it doesn't. Nothing stays the same. Not the snow, wind, moons, planet, radiant, anything. But that doesn't mean you have to stay the same. You need to grow past this part of yourself. To do this every year is unhealthy. It's not a good way of coming to terms with something that was out of your control. You know what is? Knowing who and what you have now and moving forward. It's not easy to move forward. But it's also hard to move forward if you keep yourself in the same place without any intention of wanting to change. Know that although you and I have difference in opinion, it won't change the fact that I know what you're going through. You don't have to face this alone. But that of course is your choice. Something you always have."

Uzi turned to face her, now looking into her amber yellow eyes, as V looked into her violet purple eyes. V extend out her arm and hand to Uzi. The wind blew slightly easier this time. The moonlight shining upon the two angels felt warm this time. That's how light always felt like. Light could cut through people's agony in dark times. Comfort words pierced the saddest emotions. One person or many could save you from the darkest time.

" Is this your way of -"

" It's whatever you want it to be. Either you grab it now or not, my arm is getting tired."

Uzi gave her a -_-. " Right, it's V, not N." Uzi gave her hand and V gently gripped it and helped her get off the top of the car. Uzi gave a slight blush as she felt V's gentle grip, looking at their hands holding.

" Hey, don't get any ideas now. I'm here to take you to N." Uzi's blush became brighter, now being a flustered lavender.

" B-Bite me! I wasn't getting any!"

" Yeah yeah sure. C'mon, N has something for you." V, still holding her hand, guided her back to the colony. Two things confused the flustered lavender. Just what exactly did the yellow petunia have in mind? It couldn't have been bad, but it was definitely intriguing. And why did the marigold continue to hold her corolla? She could let go at anytime. The marigold herself used her scarf to hide the blush she had.

V and Uzi walked down the hallway, their footsteps echoed throughout the emptiness. With their hands still holding each other's, their blushes still visible, they both didn't know what to expect. They turned the corner to Doorman block to Uzi's dorm. They weren't too far from it but they saw a weird trail leading from outside to inside. It was a trail of tiny pieces of paper. The paper color was yellow, orange, and deep red. Uzi was now super puzzled as to what this meant. She looked at V who was smiling.

" Do -"

" Just go inside and see for yourself." Either she was gonna see the most nicest or most scariest thing ever. V and Uzi let go of each other's hands. Uzi approached her door, opening it, and the sight before her made all her systems go numb.

One thing for sure that was obvious that it was smokey in her dorm. There was a weird burnt scent to it that she had never smelled before. But it a spiritual feeling. How does one explain that? But beyond the smoke was a table set in the middle. The trail of tiny papers led to a table. The table was covered with a brightly colored table cover with skulls and various colors and patterns. The skulls weren't menacing like the ones she used. The skulls had flowers and vines covering it, completely destroying that grim meaning that skulls would always give. Surrounding the table were colorful decorations of paper flowers, hanging or on the floor around. Hanging above the table were colorful square papers with skull cutouts hanging by a string.

On the table were various objects. There were mini skulls that were colored on with crayons. Along with the mini skulls were figurines of human skeletons and drones. The figures were holding foods, drinks, instruments, and others. Their attire were mixed with beautiful dresses and suits. Candles were lit axross the table. But it was the middle that would only strike some sense of emotion into the heart of Uzi Doorman. A bottle of fully synthetic oil, the hardest oil to obtain, her mother's favorite. In the exact middle was something she never expected to see; a regular photo of her mother, Nori Doorman.

She approached the table and felt her breath go from O2 to Ozero. Her hand rested on the table as she got a goodlook at the photo of her deceased mother. The other photos she has seen of her mother were either badly destroyed, corrupted, stained, or had her not giving any smile at all with a string of numbers. But this photo had her smiling. A real smile. A smile that resembles the one she had seen on her face whenever they were together. There were no numbers, no other drones, nothing to take away her beauty and motherly appearance.

" M-Mom?"

" Do you like it?"

Uzi turned to the doorway to see her best friend N standing at the doorway. She got surprised as her eyes went wide looking at N. It felt like she was looking at a fantasma given they didn't see each other the whole day, so it felt like ages.

" N-N...y-you made this?"

N nodded with his fingers touching. He didn't know how she would react to all this. Wether she would hate it or like it was yet to be seen. He slowly walked up to her.

" Y-Yeah. I made this. I know what day it is today. I know it's a regular day for everyone else, but I know what this day is for you and how it has impacted you so much. So, I decided to - OOF!"

Uzi, forgetting everything, ran upto him full speed and hugged him. N blushed, feeling his systems knock down and up and all over with 360 turns and gravitational violations. She tightly wrapped her arms around him, not letting go. A sniffle. Then a cry. A loud cry. N's heart felt Uzi's tears. He hugged her back, bringing her as close as he can for an embrace that would last beyond the Methuselah Star. Uzi let out her tears.

" U-Uzi?"

" Thank you. Thank you, N. I love it."

Those words melted his heart as he put his head down, gently unveiled his wings and wrapped his wings around her for a hug that she won't ever separate from. Uzi felt two hugs that moment. One was from N, but the other wasn't from his wings as it felt familiar.

— Лиззи, ты все еще трогаешь свою щеку?

" S-So what if I am!? You're still blushing from what he did to both us! How was I to expect he was gonna do that!?"

" Справедливый."

...

" Wanna kiss?"

Doll nodded.
