Years before the Ark fails, a man, named Jake Griffin, is sent down to Earth. He returns to the Ark, with a baby, of all things. Years later, Clarke, now a part of the Ark is sent down to the Earth alone, if it means that her father won't be killed. During her time there, she learns who her mates are-and learns of the Lovecraftian creatures that consider Clarke one of their own.

Clarke has complicated feelings about Fury and is very protective of Natasha. Which is why Clarke still has some anger to get past. But Natasha is very helpful with that.

"I'm sorry," Clarke said quietly, "I know I can be…a lot sometimes." Clarke Griffin again gets angry, but it leads to a discussion about Clarke realizing how Natasha affects her. And Natasha is happy to press her advantage.

Clarke knows how this will end. She knows that trying to create life the way her mother is creating life, never goes well. It doesn't change that Clarke's in for a shock when she feels her chest burning, meaning that her thirty mates are about to be born, just when Abby's thirty experiments are about to become alive.

Clarke opened her eyes weakly when she heard the doors close with a mechanical whirr, seeing Natasha walk into the room. Her eyes widened and she moaned at Natasha's smirk. Natasha catches Clarke in a compromising position, but is more than happy to watch.

Having defeated Dreykov, Natasha, Clarke and Yelena stay together for a few nights at a hotel, and inevitably, what happens? Natasha and Yelena both decide show their love to their mate Clarke. Nothing beats celebrating a victory like a threesome, right?

Clarke knows that she's an abomination. A mistake of nature. But she can't help that she's a beast that longs for a beauty she knows she must never have. A beauty who she hungers for, by the name of Natasha.
