Pieurve's Boat (Night)

"We won." Dominic said, almost disbelievingly. "We actually won!" The blonde jumped in euphoria once the truth of the situation finally set in.

His eyes blank, Pieurve sent Glalie back to its Poke Ball. "You damn brat..." he said through gritted teeth, knowing he was defeated.

"Asui, take this." Dominic said, tossing a bottle of green liquid to his classmate. "It's a Paralyze Heal. Have Sirius drink it."

Nodding, the greenette rushed to the heroine and fed her the medicine. Because of the ingredients Dominic used to make it, Sirius was healed in seconds. "Mountain King, thank you." she said, owing her life to the blonde and Gyarados. "I have to say, I didn't expect this when Captian Selkie gave us our orders."

"You never told me there were other Pokemon Trainers like you, Xiao-Long." Asui said, her body temperature slowly returning to normal.

"That's because I thought there wasn't any way for them to come here." Dominic said, turning to Pieurve. "You're going to tell me what exactly brought you to this world, or else."

"I know about as much as you do, brat." the man said, glaring at the boy. "Last thing I remember before being stranded here was a bright light that filled the sky. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them again, I was stuck in the middle of the ocean."

"And you're sure that's everything?" Dominic growled, his eye glowing.

"Not like I have any reason to lie." Pieurve shot back. "Let's face it, I'm powerless right now."

'Is it possible that the light he saw was the same one I encountered during my investigation?' Dominic wondered as he bound Pieurve's wrists with stone handcuffs. 'If so, that means that it wasn't because of anything that occurred in Galar. That rules out all my other theories. I'll need to speak with Nezu about this. If this guy made it through the rift, then who knows what else could. Or who else...' "We should alert Selkie that we have our target." the trainer said, swapping out one of his Poke Balls for another. "Corviknight!" He threw the ball into the air, releasing the Raven Pokemon. "I need you to find a fishing boat. Our current boss is inside the storage area." Screeching loudly, Corviknight shot in the direction of the boat Selkie was trapped in.

"That one's not very subtle, is it?" Sirius asked sarcastically.

"Nope." Dominic answered. Then, in realization, his eye widened. "We should probably get off this boat."

"What?" Asui asked, confused. "Why?"

"Because every boat, submarine, or raft I've ever been on has either blown up or sunk." the blonde said. Nobody said anything for a solid minute after that. "Gyarados can carry all of us." In a panic, everyone got onto the Atrocious Pokemon's back. After they traveled a few yards away from the boat, they watched in horror as it exploded in a ball of flame that engulfed Double Rock.

"You really don't belong on a boat, kid." Sirius said to Dominic, who merely nodded in response and stared at the Moon.

'The sky looks the same as when we met.' the blonde thought to himself, resting his hand on Gyarados' head crest. The Pokemon seemed to be thinking the same thing, as its eyes were fixed on the Moon as well.

Muraille Coast (Night, Two Years Ago)

Riding on Charizard's back as it flew, Dominic followed a Shiny Gyarados as it rampaged its way through Route 8. "We can't let it reach the city." Dominic told his partner. "We'll need to get its attention and then calm it down. Air Slash!" Charizard's wings started to glow as it shot blades of wind at its target. The attack struck Gyarados, who immediately turned to face the Trainer and his Pokemon. The look in its eyes was something Dominic knew all too well. "Gyarados, Pieurve is in custody. He can't hurt you anymore."

Gyarados refused to listen, firing a Hyper Beam at Charizard.

"Use Fire Blast!" Dominic commanded, causing Charizard to let loose its strongest attack. Fire Blast and Hyper Beam collided with eachother, exploding in a burst of energy that made both Pokemon waver. "Close in and use Dragon Claw!" Snarling, the Flame Pokemon dove and covered its claws in arcane energy before slashing at Gyarados' underside. "And Fire Blast!" Just as Gyarados was about to use Hyper Beam again, an explosion of fire struck its face, causing it to fall into the water, unconscious.

Getting an Ultra Ball from his pocket, Dominic attempted to catch the Shiny Pokemon. The orb hit Gyarados, and it was promptly sucked in. The Ultra Ball bobbed in the water for a bit before it flashed green.

Descending with Charizard, Dominic retrieved the ball. "I'm sorry you went through all that, Gyarados. I'll do my best to ease your pain." he promised, molten tears falling from his eye.

Oki Mariner (Night)

After getting Selkie and the rest of the crewmates back on the ship and sending Pieurve and his Pokemon to the Coast Guard, Dominic asked the aquatic hero a very odd question. "Captain, have you ever seen others who've used Pokemon before me?"

"No, never." the Spotted Seal Hero said, looking down to his intern. "Why do you ask?"

"Because something tells me we'll be seeing a lot more Trainers in the future." Dominic said, a grim expression on his face. The tension was broken when his Rotom Phone started ringing. To no one's surprise, his ringtone was "Do The Mario". "Scuse me. Yello?" he said, putting the rectangular device to his ear.

"Xiao-Long, I think I saw a Pokemon." Midoriya said. "Can you tell me if there are any that are black, float in the air, have white hair, and blue eyes?"

The blonde remained silent for a few seconds before responding. "Where did this happen again?" he asked, wondering how the hell his classmate met a Mythical Pokemon.
