On the 21st, Cuphead and Mugman made Chalice a birthday breakfast. Chalice smiled at this.

"Awww, thanks!" Chalice says.

"You're welcome." Mugman says.

As soon as Chalice eats, she races the cups to school.

They see Bowlboy and gulp, but then they soon continue their race.

"Last one to school buys the milk at lunch!" Chalice says.

Cuphead took a shortcut. Mugman and Chalice were ahead of him as Mugman was leading.

"I'm going to make it!" Mugman says as Cuphead uses his firework jetpack and makes it first.

On Earth, Luke wakes up. He got up and was surprised to see no breakfast on the table. He sighed and left for school.

Lucy walked to Luke.

"Cuphead needs our help after school." Lucy says. Luke was angry at the family right now.

"Luke, are you mad?" Lucy asked.

"They didn't feed me this morning, so you tell me!" Luke hissed.

"Wait, I thought you knew how to cook?" Lucy asked.

"I DO! But there was nothing to cook this morning! So I skipped breakfast! Then I ruined my favorite sweater!" Luke hissed.

Later, Lori came into Luke's class. "Hey, Luke, sorry we forgot to get groceries. I'm really sorry." Lori says, having gotten Luke some breakfast from IHOP. Luke sniffed and ate it.

"Honestly, why do you even bother? It's like watching a rewind. The family betrays Luke, Luke forgives family, rinse and repeat. Doesn't It get old?" A kid asked.

"Families fight. This family just so happened to choose war." Lucy says. "AND LUKE IS AUTISTIC!"

Lucy then thinks maybe he had a point, maybe her siblings should stop making Luke mad all the time.

"So, it's my mom's birthday today." Angry Luigi says as it was soon recess time.

"Yeah, so?" Garrett asked.

"You guys wanna help me set up?" Angry Luigi asked.

"I left the oven on." Remy lied.

"I need to see my grandmother's grave." Stephen lied.

"I said I would help a friend with a project. Sorry." Luke says.

"Yeah, you guys are invited to Chalice's birthday." Lucy says.

"On second thought, the oven can wait." Remy says.

"Awesome!" Stephen says.

"I have a drama audition tomorrow." Angry Luigi says "You guys are coming, right?"

"Sorry, but my grandmother's funeral is tomorrow." Stephen lied and walked off.

Haiku glared at Stephen, but knew that if she tried anything to hurt him, her club privileges were gone for 3 months.

"What?" Luke asked.

"He's lying, our grandmother's still alive and her birthday is next week." Haiku says.

"Yeah, that is messed up. He can't lie about his grandmother's death…" Luke says.

After school, Charity came to pick him up and wanted to take him out to eat as an apology. Luke was tearing up.

"I'm so sorry you kids couldn't eat breakfast. I promise to always stock up the fridge." Charity says.

"I was really hungry." Lana says as her stomach growls.

Then Luke's stomach growled.

"Wait, don't you have lunch at school?" Charity asked.

"It doesn't taste good…" Lincoln says.

"Okay, I'll work on that." Charity says.

"What about Luke's girlfriend?" Leni asked "I made a cute dress for her birthday…"

Luke had to smile at the mention of Chalice. She was finally turning 14 on this very day, and he was beyond excited.

"I don't know, Skylia needs a friend, especially since she and her husband haven't seen eye to eye. You kids can have fun, heck, stay there for the weekend!" Charity says.

"A weekend in another world?" Lisa asked as Luke grinned.

Before Luke could plan, Charity took them to the Burpin' Burger. she didn't want him hungry.

"Finally!" Lana says.

"Hey, Luke, I'm going to audition for the drama club. Are you interested?" Luan asked. Luke nodded.

"Lynn, are you going to still be a cheerleader?" Luke asked.

"I don't know. I'm kinda nervous about doing it in a new school. Middle school was scary. I got picked on my first day, so I had to get tough. Before that, I was soft and gentle." Lynn says.

"This is high school, Lynn." Luke says. "Different mascot and all. We're known as the Royal Woods High Rocket Squirrels."

"Hey, it's okay if you're afraid. We all have fears." Lori says.

After lunch, Luke and Lucy go to decorate.

Elsewhere, Skylia was heading to the market.

"Okay, let's give Mom one good birthday. I asked Luke's mom to help since it's pretty clear we have no idea what we're doing." Alem tuber says as they had made a mess.

In the Inkwell Isles, Chalice had just been awarded Student Of The Month in her class. She was stunned.

She was walking home afterwards, thinking Luke would forget. She saw Luke and walked up to him.

"There she is! The birthday girl!" Luke says with a smile. "And what is this that you won on your birthday?"

"Student Of The Month! This is amazing! I didn't think I'd win! But I did!" Chalice says, beaming.

"I'm so proud of you, love!" Luke says.

Chalice smiled. "I'm so happy!" She says.

Lucy sets up the party while Luke is talking to Chalice.

She set up balloons and streamers. There are also birthday banners, which Chalice likes.

She ordered some food that Chalice and the guests would like. She then prepared some games.

Soon, guests began to arrive. Chalice smiles at this as she watches the gifts pile up.

"You don't have to do your charm dances for those, Chally. Those are all yours!" Luke says.

"Really?" She asked. Luke nodded.

She kissed him on the cheek.

The party began a few minutes later. Luke sighed as he knew Chalice didn't like like him.

Mugman liked reading and poetry at times, and wanted to enter a poetry slam.

He reads something he wrote in honor of Chalice's 14th birthday. Chalice smiled and hugged Mugman.

"Thanks, Mugsy! That was wonderful!" Chalice says. Mugman smiled.

Chalice began to open her presents. She goes for Luke's gift first, revealing a pearl bracelet and necklace set with gold charms.

"Thanks, Lukey!" Chalice says. Luke smiles at her.

"You're welcome." Luke says.

She opens the cups' gifts next.

Mugman got her a book of her childhood bedtime stories and Cuphead got her a new dress.

"I love your gifts, thank you!" Chalice says, hugging the cups.

Meanwhile, Skylia was coming home. She had no idea what was going on. But knowing her family, it could be anything.

When she arrived, confetti blew in her face.

"What in the world?!" Skylia was stunned.

"Happy birthday, mom!" The twins say as Bob and Charity were also there. The decorations were in Skylia's favorite colors and there was all kinds of food and a few gifts.

"Wow, thank you!" Skylia says.

At Chalice's party, the games began as she smiled.

They played musical chairs, pin the star on The Walk Of Fame, and Freeze Frame. Soon, they started playing Truth Or Dare with a spin-the-bottle format.

Meanwhile, Emila did a magic show for Skylia

"Thanks for this." Skylia says to Charity.

"Of course. My kids are spending the weekend elsewhere, so it was just going to be me at home since Forest has to work." Charity says.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Skylia says .

"It's okay. Forest has quite the important job." Charity says.

The bottle lands on Lucy.

"Truth or dare?" Luke asked.

"Dare." Lucy says.

"I dare you to kiss Cuphead. In front of everyone." Luke says.

Lucy feels nervous about this. But she does it after a minute or two, kissing his cheek as Cuphead blushes.

Lucy spins the bottle as it lands on Chalice.

"Okay, Chalice, truth or dare?" Lucy asked.

"Easy. Dare me." Chalice says confidently.

"I dare you to…um…bury a dead body." Lucy says. Chalice looks horrified and runs off as Luke goes after her.

Chalice cried as Luke approached her.

"I don't want to bury a body!" Chalice wailed.

"You don't have to." Luke says. "I'll initiate your dare. I dare you to charm Cagney Carnation."

"Challenge accepted." Chalice says. Lucy looked guilty as she watched Chalice do her dare that Luke initiated for her.

After that, Chalice spun the bottle and it landed on Mugman.

"All right, Mugsy, truth or dare?" Chalice asked.

"Truth." Mugman says. "Ask me anything."

"Do you really like Cala Maria? You tend to stare at her in class a lot…" Chalice says. Mugman blushed. Hard.

"How does she live?" Lisa wondered.

Mugman spun the bottle. It landed on Luke.

"Truth or dare?" Mugman asked Luke.

"Truth." Luke says. "I am an open book."

"When did you meet Lucy?" Mugman asked.

Luke started telling the whole story. Then Luke spun it as it landed on Garrett.

"Truth or dare?" Luke asked Garrett.

"Dare." Garrett says.

"I dare you to kiss Leni." Luke says.

"Wait, what?!" Garrett asked, shocked. "Not after last time!"

"Go on…" Luke says.

Leni was nervous. She leaned in to kiss him, but stopped. She couldn't do it.

At Skylia's party, she was opening her gifts. Charity got her a set of amethyst earrings.

"Thank you." Skylia says.

"You're welcome." Charity says.

Skylia looks down, seeing Bob talking about some business. She sighed.

"How did I end up with him?" She asked. "He never helps me with the kids or does the housework or anything useful!"

"Hey, idiot, where's the piñata?' Randy asked Brandy. Brandy goes to get it.

"Because of our separation, our kids hate each other." Skylia sniffed. Charity hugged Skylia.

With Leni, she looked away, not happy Luke tried that. Luke goes away from the party, knowing he is in trouble.

Luke was in a tree, away from the party. Lucy looks for him. He was upset because Leni scolded him.

The attention was on Luke not on Chalice, and Chalice could see why.

Lori goes to Luke. "Forcing Garrett to kiss her, what is wrong with you?!" She asked.

"I WASN'T THINKING! STOP SCOLDING ME!" Luke screamed. Lori leaves.

Later, Lucy reads him a poem to cheer him up. Luke just wanted to leave, despite liking the poem.

"Lukey, please don't leave!" Chalice says. "You're supposed to help me hit my pinata and you still haven't had cake!"

Luke growled and went to do so.

Lori checks on Garrett, who was nervous about kissing Leni.

"Look, Luke's sorry. He wasn't thinking." Lori says.

"You shouldn't have been scolding him!" Garrett snapped.

"He can't get away with everything." Lori said.

"He said he wasn't thinking, okay?!" Garrett screamed. "I think he had a good reason for leaving the manor to begin with!"

Before Lori spoke again, Garrett wheeled himself away in an angry huff. Lori grabbed his wheelchair and turned Garrett out of it. Luke gasped as Garrett started to sob uncontrollably.

Leni helped Garrett! "Lori, you need to calm down, please…" Leni sniffed.

"You hurt Garrett! Just wait until his dad finds out about what you did!" Lynn says.

"I'm so sorry…I just got protective of Leni…" Lori says, looking guilty.

"You all ruined my birthday! Luke, I thought you'd be mature, not to make a dare like that! Lucy, you're too weird. Lori, you're just cruel! Just leave me alone!" Chalice sobbed.

"Not cool…" Cuphead says.

Luke just hit his knees, crying and just wanting to go home.

Meanwhile, Skylia noticed Alem tuber and Angry Luigi fighting. Her husband was outside and Emma sobbed.

"Hey, you guys, major villain overload!" Bill says.

"We're retired." The twins say.

"Who's going to save Royal Woods? We have enough trouble protecting Greendale and Emila rarely helps." Savannah says as Alem tuber kicked his brother into a wall.

"So much for a birthday…" Skylia says and leaves.

"I'm heading home or to see Luke or whatever." Jason says as he also leaves.

Luke had headed home early from the Inkwell Isles. He had lost everything, even his Inkwell Isles friends, but most of all, he lost his true love. All over a dare he didn't mean to initiate. Luke laid on his bed and sobbed.

Lucy came home sobbing as well. She lost Cuphead mostly because her siblings couldn't control themselves for one day. And because of the dare she gave.

Charity came home to see this, and needless to say, she wasn't pleased with the way the siblings behaved. And when Forest heard about what Lori did to Garrett, he was livid.

"I'm so sorry, I just lost control…" Lori says.

"You ruined a lot today, young lady. Luke may have initiated a dare, but he wasn't thinking! And the way the rest of you behaved…I am just ashamed of you kids right now…" Charity shook her head.

"Eh?" Lola asked

"What did we do?" Lynn asked.

"Lori, your anger issues caused Garrett to get hurt bad enough to where Forest might have to take him back to the hospital! Leni didn't really do anything wrong. Lynn, you were being overly competitive during the games and ate a lot of the food, being quite the hog. As for Lola, you couldn't leave Chalice's cake alone. Lana wasn't there as she was with Skippy for the weekend. Lincoln wasn't there, either." Charity says.

"I know, what a woman…" Cuphead says, spying through a window.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault. I should have done the dare." Leni sobbed. "I know it was only part of the game…"

"Then again, Garrett has never been kissed, so you would have made him mentally break." Lola says.

"I shouldn't have done that. I just got upset at Luke, making me kiss Cuphead in public, so I didn't think…"

"You're the one who started that chain of events!" Lynn says.

Luke left home that night. He didn't deserve to stay there.

"Luke?" Chalice says, holding the cake.

Luke sniffed. "Are you here to be mad at me some more? Well, lay it on me! I deserve it!" Luke sobbed.

She kisses him. Luke tearfully looks at her.

"I was never mad. I just needed your siblings gone. I also wanted to thank you and your sister Lucy for my party." Chalice says.

Luke sniffed and smiled at Chalice.

In bed, Lucy heard some noises and noticed Cuphead and Lynn making out. That was enough to get Lucy angry at Lynn.

She sniffed, hiding under the vents, heartbroken.

Luna stormed in, grabbed Lynn by her nightshirt, and dragged her out.

"He kissed me first-" Lynn tried to say, but all Luna could see at this point was red.

"Leave my girl alone!" Cuphead says.

Luna screamed. "STAY OUT OF THIS BEFORE I THROW YOU OUT THE WINDOW MYSELF!" She was breathing heavily.

Cuphead leaves, scared.

Meanwhile, Skylia sighed, seeing the twins battle as Randy punched Brandy. She considered a divorce, but she didn't know where to go.

There were explosions as the twins ignored the villains.

Meanwhile, Charity looks for Luke. Luke and Chalice had made short work of the bad guy outbreak.

Lucy sniffed. "This is my fault. Lynn was right. I started the chain of events and I should have just not participated in the game…" She said sadly.

"Yeah, that's true. This is your fault!" Lori screamed and glass broke as Lucy had a black eye, then there was fighting. Forest broke it up.

Garrett was shaking as he was having PTSD from all this. He started to recall when his dad and ex-mother fought like this and began to sob.

"M-Make it stop! M-Make it stop!" Garrett sobbed.

Meanwhile Skylia and Bob bickered, and it ended with Skylia taking the kids and leaving.

Brandy and Emma look upset as Randy frowned. This didn't look good. Skylia drove to see knocked out villains.

"Not our problem." Randy says.

At the manor, Forest patched up Lucy and made Lori clean up the mess. The whole mess.

"We need to get you some therapy, Lori." Lisa says.

Lucy sniffed as she sat in Forest's lap.

"I deserved it. I ruined everything…" Lucy says.

Meanwhile, Luke finishes the cake as Chalice tries to comfort him.

"I ruined your party!" Luke cried.

"No, you didn't. Lucy started it." Cuphead says, walking by.

"What happened?" Chalice asked.

"I fell in love with Lynn. She's dangerous and she's a showoff like me." Cuphead says. "But her sister Luna nearly tore me a new one…"

"You can't give up on your love." Chalice says as Cuphead goes in.

"Luna, listen, you stay away from my girl. I'm not afraid of a punk wannabe…" Cuphead says. But that set Luna off as she grabbed Cuphead by the handle and threw him into the street.

"Cuphead!" Mugman says as Cuphead's handle broke and he was cracked.

Lucy was watching all of this, seeing all the damage she caused.

"Does anyone else want some?!" Luna shouted.

"That was uncalled for!" Lynn says, but Luna doesn't want to hear it. She had enough of Lynn tonight.

"Stop it, please! I'll leave…" Lucy sobbed and teleported away.

Garrett is shaken from all the fighting and starts repeating things that were said in the fights between his dad and ex-mother.

"Garrett's a bad boy…Garrett doesn't deserve to stay with you…No, Garrett is a good boy…Don't hurt me, please! Garrett will be good…" Garrett sobbed.

Leni tries to comfort him.

"Garrett is worthless…crippled little freak…won't amount to anything…Garrett is just a burden on our family!" He sobbed.

"Garrett, Luke needs help, he needs you." Lisa says.

"JUST SHUT UP!" Garrett shouted.

"That usually works." Lisa says

Luke came home and saw Garrett in pieces.

"Who triggered his PTSD?!" Luke snapped.

"Lucy did." Lola said.

"No, Lori did." Forest says.

"But Lucy started this-" Lori starts.

"UP TO YOUR ROOM AT ONCE! YOU HAVE CAUSED ENOUGH RUCKUS FOR ONE NIGHT!" Forest snapped at Lori. "And I'm looking for an anger management class for you first thing tomorrow!"

At that point, Garrett had run away, with Luke in tow.
