This one includes the Hogwarts Board of Governers with the same members mentioned as in chapter 47. A reminder that Angie is Angelina Johnson's mom, Augusta is Neville's grandmother, and Patrick and Patricia and Parvati's and Padma's parents.

There were, no doubt, many fangirls of "The Boy Who Lived," and "The Chosen One," but there was no doubt that the worst fangirl of all these fangirls was Romilda Vane.

Romilda, with her sickly morbid crush on "The Chosen One," had a plan to get Harry Potter to notice her, but she couldn't have cared less about Harry. It was The Chosen One that Romilda fancied.

When Harry had surprised her by rejecting her offer to sit with her and her friends on the Hogwarts Express in favor of remaining with Neville and Luna, Romilda formed a plan.

However, the plan was quite illegal and Harry and Hermione both knew it.

Just before Christmas, hoping to go to Horace Slughorn's Christmas party with Harry, Romilda had brewed a Love Potion in the girls' bathroom with the intention of giving it to Harry without him knowing what it was.

Hermione had overheard Romilda and her friends talking about brewing the Love Potion to give to Harry and had warned Harry about this, causing Harry to reject Romilda's offer of Gillywater when she offered it to him. Romilda, however, had seen this coming and had a backup plan. She roughly forced a pack of chocolate cauldrons into Harry's hands with the assumption that he would eat them. She knew Harry was fond of chocolate and assumed no one could possibly suspect chocolate cauldrons of being spiked with Love Potion.

How very wrong she turned out to be.

It was late at night in the Gryffindor Common Room and Harry and Hermione happened to be the last two students still in the common room as everyone else had gone to bed for the night.

"Hermione?" said Harry seriously, "The Hogwarts Board of Governors meets this Saturday and I'm planning to go. I intend to inform them about Romilda attempting to give me a Love Potion. I plan to bring the pack of chocolate cauldrons she gave me and show them the memory of Romilda giving me the pack of chocolate cauldrons. They can then test the chocolate cauldrons for Love Potions and when they discover that Romilda did indeed give me Love Potion, she will face consequences."

"I'll go with you," offered Hermione, "And I'll show the Board of Governors my memory of overhearing Romilda's plans. "

"Thank you, Hermione," said Harry gratefully, "There are tons of fangirls who don't give a damn about Harry Potter but have sickly morbid crushes on The Boy Who Lived and The Chosen One. Romilda Vane is easily the worst of that lot though."

"I'll be right back," Hermione told Harry, "I'm going to go fetch two of those complaint forms for us to fill out so that the Board of Governors expect us on Saturday morning. "

Hermione disappeared up the girls' staircase and returned a minute and a nanosecond later with two complaint forms and handed one of them to Harry.

They both wrote "Romilda Vane" in the Complaint Against column and "Love Potions" in the General Reason for Complaint column.

In the examples and details column, Hermione noted what she'd overheard Romilda saying to her friends while Harry told of the time Romilda had offered him the Gillywater and forced the pack of chocolate cauldrons into his hands.

When Saturday morning dawned and Harry and Hermione turned up at the Hogwarts Board of Governors meeting with Harry carrying a pack of chocolate cauldrons, the board members asked to see Hermione's memories first.

As Hermione showed them the memory, they saw and heard Romilda Vane talking to a group of girls.

"The only way Harry will notice me is if I feed him a Love Potion that keys him to fancy me," Romilda was saying in a businesslike voice, "When the potion is ready, I'll spike some Gillywater and a pack of chocolate cauldrons with it. I'll offer him some Gillywater first, and if he refuses it, say he doesn't like Gillywater, I'll just force the chocolate cauldrons into his hands. No way he doesn't eat them. He loves chocolate and he'll never suspect chocolate cauldrons of being infused with Love Potion. "

"She definitely sounded serious, " noted Augusta.

"We should view Harry's memory now," implored Angie, "It will prove that Romilda followed through with this plan."

So, Harry showed the Board of Governors his memory of the moment that Romilda had offered him the Gillywater and forced the chocolate cauldrons into his hands.

"These memories," said Patrick matter of factly, "Show exactly what Harry and Hermione described on their complaint forms."

"The next step is to test the chocolate cauldrons," explained Patricia.

Next nanosecond, Patrick dug his right hand into his right hand pocket and retrieved his wand.

Patrick performed a nonverbal spell on the pack of chocolate cauldrons that Harry was still holding.

"These chocolate cauldrons are indeed spiked with Love Potion," confirmed Patrick wearily.

"Love Potions are banned at Hogwarts and that's widely known," said Angie bluntly.

"My suggestion," offered Augusta, "Is that Romilda should be expelled from Hogwarts but allowed to keep her wand."

"I'm fine with that," replied Patricia, "But she should be banned from buying any Potions supplies for three years. I have no problem with her keeping her wand, but she cannot be permitted to stay at Hogwarts or to make Potions."

"I think that's reasonable for now," agreed Patrick, "As she is still young. However, after the three year Potion Making ban expires, if she makes Love Potions again, she will be banned from ever making any potions again. But we've got to get her out of Hogwarts and away from Harry."

Patrick looked at the other governors and piped up, "Raise your hand if you agree to expel Romilda Vane from Hogwarts and ban her from buying any potions supplies for three years."

Every member of the Board of Governors raised his or her hand.

"Romilda Vane is hereby expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, " declared Patrick, taking out a quill and piece of parchment from his left hand pocket with his left hand and taking notes on the meeting, "Shops that sell potions supplies will be informed of the three year ban and the reason for it. Romilda will be informed of her punishment later this afternoon."

This one will have a part 2 sometime down the road. It never sat well with me that Romilda never faced any consequences for trying to slip Harry the Love Potion.
