This is part 2 of chapter 60.

Later that afternoon, Patrick Patil entered the Gryffindor Common Room and inquired, "Is Romilda Vane here?"

"Yes," answered Romilida from the armchair by the fire that she was currently sitting in.

"Please follow me," requested Patrick.

"Okay," replied Romilda simply, not suspecting anything.

Harry and Hermione looked on from their own armchairs feeling relieved that Romilda would be expelled and that Harry wouldn't have to deal with the fangirl of fangirls anymore.

As Patrick and Romilda exited trough the portrait hole, a smirk came across Harry's face.

"What is it, Harry?" asked Hermione, seeing his expression.

"I'm going to some comeuppance on Romilda before she leaves," said Harry with a grin, "Don't worry, nothing illegal like the Cruciatus Curse or anything like that. Nothing to injure her, make her ill, or damage her personal property. Just a few little pranks to create some work and unpleasantness for her."

Next nanosecond, Harry stood up and retrieved his wand from his right hand pocket with his right hand.

Harry raised his wand in the air, pointed in the direction of the girls' dormitories, and cried, "Accio Romilda Vane's trunk."

Romilda 's trunk soared its way into Harry's hand's faster than a jet taking off.

Harry set Romilda 's trunk down on the ground and cried, "Alohomora!"

Romilda 's trunk flew open and now Harry was ready for business. He picked up his school bag, which he'd set down on the ground besides the armchair he had been sitting in, and opened it.

Harry retrieved a large plastic bag from his school bag.

Looking inside the plastic bag, Hermione thought she saw an array of bright vivid colors: white, yellow, orange, lime green, sky blue, hot pink, teal, and fiery red with a tent of silver and gold mixed in.

"Harry, what exactly is in this plastic bag?" inquired Hermione.

"I cut up a bunch of construction paper over the last few days to make confetti," grinned Harry.

Harry now took the plastic bag filled with confetti and dumped the whole thing into Romilda ;s trunk.

There was so much confetti that all of Romilda's quills, parchment, books, clothes, and other items were totally buried underneath an avalanche of confetti.

"Having fun cleaning this trunk out, Romilda " smirked Harry, a satisfied expression on his face. Harry then snapped his fingers.

Upon hearing Harry snap his fingers, Fred, George, and Lee arrived on the scene, all three of them carrying balloons of the same colors as the confetti that Harry had dumped into Romilda's trunk.

"I asked Fred, George, and Lee to bewitch some balloons for me," Harry explained to Hermione, "Lee's made me some water balloons while Fred and George have brought balloons filled with stuff like whipped cream, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, goo, sand, and stinky liquids. Here's the deal: Fred, George, and Lee have bewitched these balloons so that if they are stored in a trunk, the first person to open the trunk they are stored in will have the balloons fly directly at them and the balloons will all pop on that person's person!"

Harry had an evil grin on his face as he gave this explanation.

"The balloons won't come at us when I put them in trunk," said Harry clearly, "Because the trunk has to be closed first for the spell to finalize."

Fred, George, and Lee set the balloons across the top of the contents of the trunk and Harry shut it and placed a Banishing Charm upon it that it sent it back to Romilda 's room.

Patrick, meanwhile, had taken Romilda to the History of Magic classroom.

"Miss Vane," said Patrick seriously, "I am Patrick Patil, Chairman of the Hogwarts Board of Governors. It is my duty to inform you that, while you will be allowed to keep your wand, you have been expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for illegal use of Love Potions. "

Romilda's face went whiter than white chalk from shock.

Patrick continued, "This morning, at a meeting of the Hogwarts Board of Governors, Hermione Granger showed us her memory of hearing you talking to your friends in the girls' bathroom about your plot to slip Harry Potter a Love Potion. Harry Potter, meanwhile, showed us his memory of you offering him Gillywater and him refusing it on the claim that he didn't like and your subsequent forcing of a box of Chocolate Cauldrons into his hands. Hermione had warned Harry about your plot. As such, both Harry and Hermione filled out complaint forms with the Hogwarts Board of Governors. Both were summoned to today's meeting, and both showed us their memories. Furthermore, Harry brought the Chocolate Cauldrons in question to today's meeting and they were tested for Love Potion. The Chocolate Cauldrons tested positive for Love Potion."

By now, Romilda 's face displayed a wildly stunned expression, as though she had seen a ghost. She was sure that no one would discover her plot and she had been certain that Harry would eat the Chocolate Cauldrons.

"After this incident, " explained Patrick seriously, "We cannot allow you to stay at Hogwarts where Harry is. You may practice and study magic on your own, and you may keep your wand, but you are expelled from Hogwarts. You have also been suspended from Potion Making or buying Potions ingredients for three years. All Potions shops have been informed of this. Please follow me back to Gryffindor Tower. Your mom and dad have been informed of your expulsion and will be arriving after dinner tonight to pick you up. Be prepared to leave this evening."

Patrick walked Romilda back to Gryffindor Tower and watched her enter the portrait hole.

Seeing Harry and Hermione, Romilda spat at them, "Hey, asshole and bitch, you two got me expelled you know!"

"You did that to yourself, " spat Harry unsympathetically, "It was your choice to try to slip me Love Potion. You were fully aware of the illegality of this action from both a school point of view and a legal point of view when you did it. You are not above the law, Vane!"

"I wanted to be your friend," protested Romilda, "I'm-"

Harry now looked Romilda eye to eye and said fiercely, "You are a sickly fangirl with a morbid crush on the Chosen One! There should literally be a picture of Romilda Vane next to the word fangirl in the dictionary! You never wanted to be my friend, only my fan. You never gave a damn about Harry Potter, only about the Chosen One."

Romilda involuntarily took a few steps back.

"Don't feed me the excuse that's a girl thing either, " said Harry coldly, "Plenty of girls at Hogwarts, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, Susan Bones, and Hannah Abbott among them, understand that I'm a person and not an object or a trophy. They see me as Harry, not as the Chosen One. And by the way, I haven't forgotten the way you insulted Neville and Luna on the Hogwarts Express. If you really wanted to be my friend, you'd have taken an interest in getting to know some of the people I was already friends instead of trying to push me away from them for your own benefit! If fangirling was an Olympic Event, Romilda Vane would easily be the gold medalist!"

Romilda turned away but pulled a camera out of her left hand pocket with her left hand.

Romilda raised the camera towards Harry's scar, but it was yanked sharply out of her hands by Hermione.

"You don't the right to take Harry's picture without his permission," said Hermione firmly, "I'll give you the camera back because it's rightfully yours, but if you attempt to take Harry's picture again, it might be the last thing you do!'

Hermione did give Romilida her camera back. Romilida didn't dare attempt to take Harry's picture again.

Romilda, feeling a bit scared now, decided to go up to her room and complete packing.

When Romilda opened her trunk, sure enough, all the balloons descended upon her and popped on her person, covering her in water, whipped cream, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, goo, sand, and stinky liquids.

The balloons came fast and furious, and once they had all popped, Romilda was covered in all these substances.

It was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Romilda knew that Harry and Hermione weren't great at Trickery Magic and correctly suspected that Fred, George, and Lee had helped them with this prank. Romilda was pissed and became more pissed when she saw that the whole of her trunk was full of confetti. Her anger was now complimented with weariness, realizing that it would take hours to clean her trunk out. Even if she used magic, there so much confetti in her trunk that any magical cleaning would miss some of it and she'd still have to clean a fair bit of it up by hand.

Enraged, Romilda ran down to Gryffindor Common Room and shouted, "WHO THE FUCK MESSED WITH MY TRUNK!"

"I did," confirmed Harry, "With a bit of help from Fred, George, and Lee. I spent the last few days making confetti out of construction paper. When Patrick took you to inform you of your punishment, I summoned your trunk, opened it, and dumped a bunch of confetti into it. I had Fred, George, and Lee fill the balloons and charm them to fly at and pop upon the first person to open the trunk with them in it after it had been closed. They set the balloons in the trunk for me and I shut it and banished it back to your room! I set this all up and I'm not sorry for it. You deserve to pranked as a punishment from me and be grateful I was feeling fairly merciful today."

"But " whined Romilda, "That confetti will take hours to clean out, even if I use magic to assist me."

"That's your problem," said Harry frostily.

Romilda suddenly became aware that most of the Gryffindors were now pointing and laughing at her because of her being covered in all of the substances from the balloons.

Her face turned redder than a firetruck and she quickly ran back up to her dorm room and out of sight.
