Beginnings
Previously:
James first day back to New York and it is was a heartbreaking day, he finds out that his uncle is dead and that his own brother works at the Daily Bugle where he going to be working at as well, and to top it all off his new boss wants him to track down and find this Spider-man just to then uncover who he is behind the mask…At Least his landlord is a good man so far… However, on top of a building across the street at a church there is a man there looking down the scope at James Parker as he walks home, "This is Hydra Scout 1, I have eyes on the package…ready to take him in."
Suddenly a woman in black latex comes from behind and snaps the Hydra scout's neck as she flips open her communicator, "Fury, the other Parker is here." she states into her communicator with another voice coming through it, most likely this Fury character. "Alright Widow, you know what to do but DO NOT KILL HIM! He is Peter's brother." Widow just sighs as she rolls her eyes saying her last words to Fury before closing communication, "I know when to kill and when not too Fury."
Chapter 2:
I AM IRONMAN
The next morning, James walks out of the shower as the entire room is very foggy as his wet upper body is very noticeable showing off his biceps as it is clear he does work out but not to a crazy amount, just enough to be healthy and fit. There it also shows a scar on his body, more specifically on his back as James goes and brushes his teeth starting from the back of his teeth going towards the front and then does his tongue as he brushing all around his mouth, he then washes the head of the toothbrush then puts his brush into a self cleaning container as he opens up a mouthwash to begin swirling it around as he aiming to clear out his mouth of the toothpaste.

During the time James was busy getting dressed, the doorbell rings causing him to turn towards the door as he puts on a shirt and walks up the stairs and opens the door. "Yes?" James asks as he sees a rather beautiful red-haired woman who is holding a briefcase, "Hello there, I am Mr. Stark's secretary. My name is Nancy Oakley, It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Parker." She offers him a hand to shake which he does take and shakes it but she winces a little as James looks at her, "Oh sorry, I tend to have a bit of static Electricity after taking a shower which might be odd but after an accident I had." James just shrugs a little as he does not want to bore her with the details to which Nancy just nods her head understanding, but as she is clearly there for other reasons she looked a bit surprised by the fact he had shocked her and the fact it was so much that it shocked the device she tried placing onto James for his safety short circuited.

Nancy just goes and sits down onto a chair as she places her suitcase down, "Please come sit down, I was sent here to talk to you about certain…possibilities if you're interested and will help you make money." As she says all this James just waves his hand back and forth as he walks to a chair and sits down, "I already got a job at the Bugle." to which causes Nancy to let out a stifle of laughter which causes his eyebrow to raise. "Is there something funny about that?" he says to Nancy as she just tries to calm down a little just to say, "It's just…funny to see you a Parker working at the same NewsPaper as another Parker that works there." though she will learn that she shouldn't have said that as he suddenly turns and tries to smash a book into her throat, but she effortlessly dodge by backflipping over the chair she was sitting on.
"Who are you?!" James shouts as he quickly throws the book at Nancy who just catches it and sets it down, "And do not try lying again saying that Stark sent you because even he doesn't know about Peter but you seem to know." his eyes just glares daggers into Nancy causing her to go silent as she tries to think of a different plan or just figure out away out of her predicament as she just silently angry yells at herself as James never did mention anything about Peter or any parker for that fact and Peter only takes pictures and no one would really know that unless they read the very fine print of the papers. "Well, I-" but before Nancy tries to talk, Tony walks in.
"I'm so very sorry for Nancy and her not so subtle way of talking to people, she tends to hear things that a good secretary should but also shouldn't listen in on when it is private information. You can't really expect people to not figure out that you are a family member to Peter and his Aunt. It is a bit ironic that you are working at the same place he is working at, but from a different angle though he does take good photos." Nancy just sighs as she makes a little disapproving and disgusted look at Tony before looking away crossing her arms as James just sighs before sitting down.
"So you decided to look me up?" James says as he looks at Tony with a bit of disappointment in his face but also understanding as most would be cautious of a guy buying a place on the river side that a house. "When you get to know Peter and know what he's been through. You tend to be rather protective of him even if he hates it." Tony states as he pouring some whiskey into a glass and hands it to James then goes take out his own bottle of something that looks green and at first sight it just looks disgusting but it may not taste disgusting.
"Wait, how do you know Peter? Doesn't he only work at the Daily Bugle?" Tony takes a swig of his drink as he sighs and looks at James, "Jameson only paying Peter for the pictures he takes, I wouldn't call that a job just a side hustle. He works with me developing new tech and testing them." James looks down into his cup of whiskey as he just swirls the drink around as a slight smile appears on his face, "So he's following dad's footprints being smart and changing the world." This causes Tony to look at Nancy as Nancy just shrugs as she looks as confused as Tony is before they both look back at James.
James just pushes the drink to Nancy as he gets up, "Well you don't have to worry about Pete. I won't suddenly tell him I'm alive and kicking today or at all in the future, I would rather just keep a watchful eye on him and make sure he is living a good life. He doesn't need his big brother suddenly coming back into his life." James grabs his own camera, a duffle bag and then a leather jacket, "I'm assuming we are done here? If I need to sign anything I'll do it when I get back. Later Mr. Stark."
Tony went to try and add something onto what James had said but James already left the house as he sighs rubbing his forehead before looking at Nancy, "What are you doing here Widow?" he asked as Nancy unwrapped and let her hair flow down and removed her glasses as she stood up and glared at Tony. "I should be asking YOU that question, Stark. Why did you even show up?!" Widow reaches under her current dress she is wearing and pulls out a detector as she walks around.
Stark just rolls his eyes as he takes out the papers that he wanted James to sign, "I was actually here because A. I own the boat house, B. Because I am the landlord to James, and C. I was actually coming here to actually give him papers. Honestly, what were you going to do without any papers, Widow?" Stark places the papers down and writes on a piece of paper asking James to sign these when he gets home.
Black Widow looks at Stark with an annoyed look, but doesn't answer as she actually did have the papers due to hacking into Stark tower to print them out for her, "I'll not show myself to him again after being found out, but besides that it is not really any of your concern."
Stark turns and glares at Widow as he says, "It is my concern…Parker asked me for a favor years ago, to keep an eye out for his brother James Parker as unlike with his parents…a body was not found in the wreckage. I don't even know if he remembered asking me that favor but I do so I am going to keep him safe even if it means taking you and S.H.I.E.L.D down as well so allow me to ask you this question. WHAT are you and Fury looking for?"
Widow looks at Tony seeing how serious he is as she sighs and then walks back and sits down, "Take a seat…I'll explain everything." As Widow began to explain we fade out to see James on his motorcycle looking across the street at Peter and some platinum blonde girl talking and having a good day, bringing a smile to James face although it is hidden behind his helmet but before James can start his cycle up and drive off, an ambulance comes zooming by catching James attention as he looks down at his phone with it vibrating with two miss text messages from Jameson giving James a clue as to where to go and to expect spider-man to be there.
"Well…time to get to work." James starts up his cycle and then takes one more look at Peter and the girl, but for some reason she looks worried and Peter is missing, "Damn it Pete… I need to figure out who this Spider-man is so that Pete doesn't need to start going to insane places just to try and get pictures."He starts driving off after the Ambulances as it is now time for him…to haunt the spider. However, unknowingly to him, there is someone watching him as whomever this individual is suddenly flies off after him.
As James is racing off towards the area where Spider-man is fighting some villain that is trying to hit the Spider with shockwaves using some kind of device, "What the hell?" James says to himself as he turns down a side street to ignore the police who are barricading the area to try and keep people out of the area. James rides down the back alley as he stops near the center of the area and looks to his side noticing Spider-man and this dude in yellow and brown costume. He knows it is usually Pete's job to take pictures, but having a few more won't hurt, James pulls out his camera as he starts taking some pictures himself while listening in on the battle.
"Come on Quilty! You and I both know how this is going to end, so why not just give up and do something better with your life. I mean come on Herman! You are a genius engineer, you can do something great with your ideas." Spider-man then jumps up and swings over as Herman fires off a blast at him. "Can't do that Spider! I need to do this…to keep you distracted." Spider-man lands on a street lamp and looks at Herman with a questioning face before he then sharply turns to where James is at. Why would my spider-sense go off when that new guy is just taking pictures…it's not like he can get the images I get for J.J. but wh- just then he notices the Beetle coming down at James. "NO BE-" but it was too late, Herman took the chance that he was distracted to blast Spider-man which sent him flying across the way and crashed into a nearby police car.
James having listened to the conversation between the two just looks confused as to why he was looking near his area? However, that will get answered as the Beetle scoops up James from his Bike and flies off. "What?! Hey Let me down!" James shouts as the Beetle lifts him up into the sky as a woman's voice answers back. "No can do, I want that briefcase of yours and you are going to give it to me or else someone much crueler will be coming to take it." the Beetle states but James just swings his entire body up as his legs wrap themselves around Beetle's head.
"H-hey! What are you doing?! I am a taken woman thank you very much!" She states as they are awkwardly in a 69 pose but James doesn't answer her and instead uses his weight and body to twist around Beetle's body so he is on top and he slips out of her grasp. "Sorry, but you won't get shit from me." James states as he goes and lays on top of Beetle staring into her mask as she tries to shake him off as she starts flying around, "How the HELL did you get out of my grasp or even do what you did?! No one ever did that!" James just rolls his eyes as he grasps onto her suit and pulls on it violently to cause her to start going off track and crash down onto a nearby roof.
Spider-man was swinging after Beetle after having webbed up Shocker and saw them crashing, "Damn it, what is that guy doing?" Spider-man goes to swing over towards the two, but then his spider-senses go crazy alerting him to danger. However, it was too late as part of the rooftop exploded when a red humanoid machine rose up and looked at Beetle. "Your services have come to an end, Beetle. I'll take the man from here." the humanoid machine raises his arm as energy begins to pour into its hand.
Spider-man quickly webs the red figure hand and sends the blast off into an abandoned building, "Hold it there lesser Iron man, what are you doing here? I don't see Stark anywhere here do you?" which causes James to look rather surprised at that information as he never knew Tony Stark was some vigilante as he did not look the type. "I am not here for Stark, I am here for the Parker boy not Stark." which causes Spider-man to widen his eyes before looking at James then looking back at the red machine with a glare, "That man and everyone here is not for you to take just because you want something! Besides the fact what could he even give you?! He doesn't have anything Valuable on him."
The red machine looks at Spider-man, "What he has means nothing, it is what he is hiding that is valuable. Now Enough of this chatter it is time to die." goes to blast spider-man when in an instant Iron Man comes flying up and tackles the red machine out of the way. "Fighting someone other than me Alex? I'm hurt!" blasts him down and then away from Spider-man, Beetle, and James. "Hey webhead, sorry for the trash coming and knocking at your door." Spider-man just shrugs, "It isn't New York if heroes aren't stepping in fights and stepping on toes." Spider-Man looks at Beetle, "Alright Beetle, you can run off and go back home to your husband or we can always fight then you wind up in jail.
Beetle just throws her hands up in defeat as she sighs deeply, "That is a wise choice! And as for you." looks at James and even with a mask on, Spider-man's look is a mixture of concern, grief, anger, and overall surprise before he speaks to James. "I'm pretty sure that the Daily Bugle has a photographer so I don't know what you are hoping for with those pi-" the ground below them shook as the red Machine came flying upwards from below James snatching him and flying away. "JAMES!" Spider-man shouts as Iron Man throws something at Spidey and then flies after the Machine. "Alright Dynamo, this is now getting out of hand. PUT JAMES DOWN NOW!"
Dynamo just scoffs as he starts flying around trying to get rid of Stark, "I will not hand over a treasure grove to you Stark! This man's money will be mine whether he lives or not!" Dynamo fires a plasma blast at a billboard causing it to start collapsing. "Nevsky stop! ARGH!" Iron Man flies down to deal with the collapsing billboard as James just glares at Dynamo but as Crimson Dynamo thinks he is safe, the Iron Spider-man comes flying in and tackles him down causing James to go falling out of Crimson Dynamo grasp as he looks around to see everything around him.
'Shit…Shit! Think James Think!' time seems to just slow down for James, rather it was just his brain trying to rationalized what was happening or if it was his own survival instincts kicking in to allow him time to just get a better look around and no matter the reason James noticed a flag pole that was within reach to grab at and he instinctively grabs at it as he continues falling, his hand bleeding as he wasn't able to grab the pole but the flag. However, it did give James enough time and leverage to use the fall and having grabbed the flag to swing himself towards a nearby window and flings himself into a woman apartment, the glass shattering as some pieces stabbed into James, some slashing him, and other embedding into him as he screams out in pain with his vision becoming blurry but notices a woman with red hair running up before his eyes close only hearing some words.
"I've got him, Fury, bringing him onboard now."
