By the time Justice got to her and Christopher apartment streets were dark. The day was gone. She tried to run but she couldn't because of the cold so she tried to walk as fast as she could. The apartment building where they lived had a doorman. He looked at Justice like she was some crazy homeless lady but he recognized her after she spoke to him. He let her in and even helped to get to her apartment. Being on the elevator he spoke:

There are some people in your apartment ma'am. I think it's police and your relatives.

I got no relatives Mr. Tune

I mean, your …hm… boyfriend's relatives.

Oh.. yeh.

Ma'am, what happened to you? Do you want me to call ambulance?

No, I just need to get home.

The elevator stopped and Justice nodded to the doorman and left. It was pretty loud in her apartment. Men's voices were interrupted with squeaking women's voices. A policeman exited the apartment and almost crushed into Justice.

Oh my God! She is here! Sir! Captain Gordon she is here!

The young man took Justice under her arm and walked with her inside the apartment. There she was standing in front of Chrictopher's mother and father, his sister, five or seven policemen and captain James Gordon, alone in one dirty long shirt and slippers.

My Goodness what happened to you! – raised the voice Christopher's sister.

Where have you been! Christopher was asking for you! – screamed the woman setting next to her.

They arrested him! You just left your husband! – Christopher's father walked up to Justice.

Mr. Swan, stop it! – commanded James Gordon. – She needs to be alone and definitely take a shower. Nobody can help your son.

My lawyers will! I got the best lawyers in Gotham! – screamed the father.

I want her out of this property by the end on the month! She got to go, she is the reason my son is in jail now!

Why me! What did I do! – Justice asked quietly making her steps inside the apartment.

Because! Because he was supposed to merry another woman, Mr. Rich's daughter right after the police academy. But he had to meet you, ugly rat! – screamed Christopher's mother! – You got nothing, you are rat from the gutter and Mr. Rich is rich and influential man in the city! I hate you!

Mr. Swan, take your wife and daughter out of this apartment or I will have to place you under arrest for harassment.

What! How dare you! James Gordon you forgot whom your serve?

I serve to the people of Gotham to the weak and the poor ma'am. Justice is a victim in this situation and I'll not allow you to harass the police officer.

Swan family had left screaming threats followed by policemen. Justice was standing next to the bar table, she needed to have some sort of base to hold on to. James Gordon stood across the room silently.

Are you sure you don't need an ambulance? You could get frost bites on your skin.

I'm fine.

Ok then. I'll talk to you later. – with these words he left.

Justice locked the door and went to the bathroom and then standing in the shower she finally burst into tears. It had been an hour of her just sitting in the shower under the water and crying until it was no tears or emotions left inside her. She has never in her life cried like that not even close. She was drained emotionally and physically. She wrapped herself in a robe and lay on a bed. She felt asleep right away for a very long time.
