Police sirens and flashing lights had been left far down. The unfinished bridge was empty and dark place. Wind was strong and cold there. Rubbish and scrape was everywhere it was dangerous to walk or even stand in a construction zone. The bridge was making moaning sounds of metal and stone fighting the wind.

Justice couldn't see anything in the dark as if she was blind except she wasn't. Pitch black night with no stars or the moon. But she felt his presence. The Batman was there motionless and undetected he was part of the night or better to say he was the night.

-What do you know about the man who kills? - the question came out of nowhere in calm and strong voice.

-I know his name and his plans, his ambitions and his place of living unless he changed it. - Justice was still sitting on the ground but she didn't want to give all the information she knew to Batman.

-Tell me. - it was an order. You couldn't not do it. The man was serious and he didn't want to play games.

-I want a fair triad. - said Justice looking at the water down from the bridge.

-I see. I won't give you to cops this time if you tell me everything you know.

-No. It's not what I want, Batman. - said Justice and turned to the direction where Batman was standing. She didn't see anybody but she knew he was there right in front of her. - I want a fair trade. I give you all the information I know and you give me tools to help my people!

Silence was the answer.

-I'm giving you to the police. - said Batman his voice was deep and soft. He grabbed Justice under her arm and walked to the edge of the bridge.

-I have a lot to say about Evan but I need so little to help people and I know you have power to help me! - he gently let her go.

-Hmm… - Batman was intrigued. - What do you want?

Justice stood up holding on to a rusty skeleton of the bridge.

-I need a gear. You see, it's been almost a year of me living in the Zone and trying to protect people. But I can't protect them they way I want because I don't have the right gear like you do.

-No. - said Batman.

-Let me finish! Listen to me! I know you are trying to protect City of Gotham but if you notice recently couple years ago the government created these three zones where immigrants supposed to live. Since then the crime in these districts increased because there is no police and there is no Batman. Now, I have a question to you! Why there is no Batman? Hold on! I have an answer! - Justice breathing heavily continued her speech like she was practicing for that one. -Because all crime bosses are on the main land and you as a protector of the City chose to fight them. It makes sense if you look at it but it doesn't mean if you destroy crime authorities the crime itself would stop. Guess what! Crime doesn't stop because some big boss is in a prison. Here in the Zone Three people fight crime every day! They fight when trying to get to work or even find any job available, they fight when they get their groceries for a week or when their kids go to school. There is so many small crime which you Batman won't notice until you actually live here and I bet you don't. I want to fight small crime in my home I don't need a big fish but I want to clean my small pound.

-You kill people. Criminals are supposed to get justice in court and be judged by the law not by some … not by other people. Nobody gave you rights to kill and you are on the same level as criminals and murderers. - Batman's voice now was loud but still calm and deep as if he got annoyed but still was ready to argue.

-I kill because otherwise they will kill me! I don't want to kill I have never wanted to kill! Give me the right gear and I won't kill because I would be protected. I just want to help my people I don't seek popularity or recognition I just simply want to help! - Justice tried not to scream but her voice treacherously trembled in the end and she got to stop. - Please. I can help you to solve those killings and prevent more of them…

-More of them… - Batman repeated her words thoughtfully. - I will find you when time is right. - with this words Batman vanished.

Justice stood alone on the bridge listening to the wind and police sirens in the far. Firefighters put out fire under the bridge, police made all arrests and the camp under the bridge had been left empty. The recognition of the height of the bridge came to Justice right after she looked down. "How am I supposed to get down?" - she thought and tried to see if there was any stairs down or at least rope.

It was getting colder and colder every second when the night got in charge of the City of Gotham.
