"Looks like the Snow is picking up" Revenge commented as she looked up at the clouds.

"Looks like it might be a problem." Sovereign replied as she looked over to the dockside. "I'll get the Bulins together to make sure that the guns don't freeze over."

"We should really look into winter uniforms of our own," Revenge replied.

"I mean I already have one…. But I need to sort it out" Sovereign remarked.

"If only Victorious were here. She'd be able to make some clothes for us"

"I know that Resource has dabbled a little bit into clothing repair. She repaired Anson's jacket. So perhaps she could come up with some winter coats" Sovereign replied, looking towards the Repair ship docked nearby.

"I'll go ask her" Revenge replied as she headed off to the Repair ship

"Just don't slip on the ice" Sovereign called out just as her elder sister, almost on cue, slipped on the icy deck but managed to grasp onto the handrail. She chuckled and simply followed Revenge off of the ship

Resource was sweeping snow off of the deck of her ship as the two sisters arrived. "Mind your footing" The repair ship remarked.

"We will. Already had big sis slip on her own ship a minute ago" Sovereign commented, earning her a pout from Revenge "But we are here for a different reason"

"And that would be?" Resource asked.

"Clothing." Revenge replied.

"You want me to make warmer clothes don't you"

"It's not getting any warmer out here" Sovereign replied "And you did a good job sorting out Anson's jacket"

"Yes, that was a repair. Not a whole new item of clothing" Resource replied.

"Can you make some though?"

"Between my duties as repair ship and carer, yes. I can give it a try. I just need the items that would best suit winter clothing" Resource answered.

"I'm sure we can rustle up some wool from some sheep. There's likely some around" Revenge commented before Resource headed back inside the ship and entered the medical room. Finding Barham peacefully sleeping.

"First night she's actually slept well" Resource commented "She's been having nightmares that I am not privy to just yet. She has agreed to tell me when she does have another though"

"She's seen a lot, there's no doubt about that," Sovereign commented as she gently placed a hand on the other woman's shoulder. "We all have"

Resource nodded silently for a moment before replying. "If either of you two need to talk to me about something. You can. I'm open to anyone who wants to talk about their issues"

The Battleship sisters were about to reply when Phoebe's voice appeared over the radio.

"I need assistance beyond the port. There's an influx of civilians coming towards us"

"Copy that. Anyone who can, head for Phoebe's location and help out. But be careful. Who knows if the Sirens are sending infiltration units"

"Roger" Came a few replies over the radio and shortly afterwards, Soldiers and Shipgirls were assisting the civilian's.

"Where have they all come from?" Formidable pondered as a Jeep rolled up beside her.

"All over. But these were from a Siren camp they've set up near Peterborough. Apparently some woman managed to break some out and at least prevent many more from being injured." A Commando in the driving seat explained as he brought the jeep to a stop. "My mate's injured. Could you give me a hand moving him?"

"Of course. How many are with you?" Formidable asked as she helped the commando move the stretcher off of the vehicle and over towards the medical tent they had.

"30 to 35 maybe. Some of them were apparently taken to Peterborough from further up north." The Commando replied. "DIdn't have time to do a full body count. Those things were chasing us for days"

"Alright. We may have incoming Siren forces." Formidable called out to her friends and some of them drew their rigging in preparation.

"Oh so there's more of you. The woman who broke these people out was like them"

"You mean a Ship girl? I am one also" Formidable replied.

"Oh. Do excuse me, I was not aware" The Commando apologised.

"No issue. But I will have to ask you to report to our leader since you appear to have information we could use."

"Get some of them on board my vessel. I can treat them there" came Resource's authoritative voice as she tried to get towards the new arrivals. When she saw Formidable she went straight to her. "How many have just turned up?"

"The gentleman here said between 30 and 35. We don't have a true headcount. So you might have your hands full"

"Well it'll mean Barham will have some company. Now then. You three. Help me take some of these people onto my vessel" Resource replied as she pointed at Z20, Arethusa and Agincourt. The three complied and quickly headed over to the civilians, checking them first before taking them onboard the repair ship.

"Sovereign? What's going on?" Anson asked over the radio, having heard Phoebe's message a few minutes earlier.

"Some civilian's have arrived. Seemingly with some soldiers. Some of them are rather badly hurt, so they've been taken to Resource's vessel. We'll have to move some of the others into some of the homes in the town"

"Roger that. Please keep me updated. I'll send Hector over to help out. Anson out"

"Civilians?" Hector asked, having heard his wife from the room next door.

"Yes. I am surprised. But we shouldn't turn them away, despite my worries of Siren impostors. Sovereign will know to check for them. How quickly can you get over there?"

"I'll head up to the deck. I'll catch a lift with one of the others" Hector replied.

"I won't be like this for much longer dear." Anson replied.

"And I know you'll be glad to get out again" Hector replied before giving her a kiss and then he headed out to the deck. Anson got on the radio to call ahead and Revenge was waiting for him.

"Quite the morning rush wouldn't you say?" Revenge asked as he took her outstretched hand and she took him to the dockside.

"Indeed. But these people need our help. Whispers of our actions must have travelled to where these people have come from." Hector replied

"It'll be a spark of hope for those the Sirens have captive, for sure" Revenge responded as she jumped up onto the harbour side and let Hector get off of her back.

"Thank you, Revenge"

"No problem, sir." Revenge said as she did a little curtsy and headed off to help the nearest civilian. There was one nearby, who had their head lowered, looking at something. "Hello? Do you need a hand with anything?" She asked.

The man didn't look at her for a moment, only turning his head after he pocketed the item he was looking at prior to her arrival. Revenge froze up as the man's eyes met her own. He quickly began to express the same level of fear that she held and he jerked backwards in alarm. "It's you! Stay back!"

"Wh-What?" Revenge stuttered.

Everyone else turned to look at the commotion, confused by what was going on. Hector ran over as soon as he heard the man cry out in fear. "What's wrong?" he asked, trying to understand the sudden alarm.

"Sh-She killed 20 people! Back in Coventry!" The man struggled to find his voice as he began to move away from the battleship, who stood uncharacteristically still.

"Revenge?" Hector asked, slowly approaching her. But Revenge didn't reply, she stared aimlessly off into the distance as hidden memories poured into her mind. Visions of Sirens giving her orders flashed by, people being cut down by her blade, people screaming at her for mercy that never came. The screams became louder and louder before it all went silent before two voices she knew all too well replaced the screams.

"N-No…" Revenge thought as her worst fears were then shown to her. Resolution and Ramillies, her precious little sisters, being cut down by her own hand. The battleship suddenly cried out as she grabbed her head and ran away from the man before heading back out to sea.

"Revenge!" Hector called out as he tried to stop her but she was already seaborne and was heading towards the docked warships.

"Sister?!" Sovereign called out as she saw Revenge rush past. Feeling that something wasn't right, she got on her radio. "What's happened with Revenge? I just saw her sail past at an alarming speed"

"We don't know" Came Formidable's voice "You'll have to catch up to her"

"Alright. If she goes too far out send aircraft for support" Sovereign replied as she jumped to the water and headed out to find her sister.

Revenge hadn't gone far. She was clear of the port, but was standing on the safe boundary that had been decided on in case Siren's attacked again. Sovereign stopped a few metres away from her big sister, seeing only Revenge's back as she was facing out towards the open sea.

"Revenge, I-" Sovereign began but she was interrupted

"Just get it over with…" Revenge said bluntly, tears streaming down her face.

"P-Pardon?" Sovereign asked, not sure what she had heard.

"If you're going to spare me from my misery and pain. Just get it over with" Revenge repeated.

Sovereign was shocked, Revenge wanted her to kill her?

Her own sister.

Sovereign just stood there, not moving, not taking her eyes off of her big sister. "I- I don't know what you are talking about"

"JUST DO IT!" Revenge screamed at the top of her lungs as she turned around, her eyes bloodshot from crying. "END IT ALL RIGHT NOW!"

"No" Sovereign said in response, her voice sounded so pathetic compared to her big sister.

"WHY!?" Revenge bellowed. "I KILLED THEM SOV, I KILLED MY SWEET LITTLE SISTERS. RESOLUTION AND RAMILLIES ARE DEAD AT MY HAND!"

Sovereign began to tear up as she swallowed and regained her composure, despite all the pain now running through her. She needed to remain the voice of reason. "T-The Sirens killed them. Not you"

"DID YOU NOT HEAR ME?"

"I-I I did, Revenge. I heard you loud and clear… But that's what they want you to think. They used you just like they used Agincourt." Sovereign replied as she began to slowly step forward.

"St-Stay back!" Revenge pleaded, her voice nearly a whisper as she cried more and more.

"No. You're hurting. And I'm going to set things right" Sovereign replied as she drew closer and closer. Revenge continued to plead with her to stay back, but as soon as they were close enough to one another, Revenge caved and buried herself in her little sister's arms.

"W-Why?" Revenge mumbled.

Sovereign simply lifted up Revenge's head so they were looking directly at one another. "Because I've…" Sovereign stopped for a moment as she collected her thoughts despite the pain of the seeming demise of her sisters. "I've lost two big sisters and my little sister already. I'm not losing you too." There was a moment of silence before cracks formed in Sovereign's somewhat calm expression. "I.. I don't want to be alone.. Not again."

Neither said anymore as they continued to hug one another as Indomitable came up to them. The black haired carrier stood silent and still, not wishing to disturb the moment she was spectating. It was a few more minutes before Sovereign helped her big sister back up from the water and together they headed back to port, the carrier remaining behind them in order to watch for any unwanted Siren activity…
