Justice tried her armor and gear on in the Batman's lab. It almost fit right but needed just a little bit of work. There was no mirrors in the lab so she couldn't even take a look at herself. She also did everything Batman asked. Justice walked around the lab couple circles then she run and did some physical exercises for an hour straight.
She didn't notice how he came back in. He stood in a corner as a gothic statue.
-It's enough. You can change back into your clothes. - Batman gave a command and turned his back towards Justice.
He was standing next to a big computer where on a screen was the prototype of The White Shadow suit and gear.
Justice started to change as fast as she could because she knew it was time for her to go. Her regular job at the library was about to start in four hours.
-My system will adjust your gear and I will finish the job in a couple of days. - said Batman without turning to Justice.
-What are you going to do with that school? - she asked pulling up her white cloak.
Batman thought for a moment.
-No! You need to tell me if you want us to catch Evan before he does some horrifying things! - Justice needed the information Batman knew because she really wanted to help him especially now when she knew he kept his promise about a suit.
-I went to that school when you were in the lab. The car is inside but people who were bringing stolen chemicals are dead. They killed them before I got there all I saw was bodies and an empty school.
-Empty school!? Dead people!? Does the police come?
-Yes. I informed them.
-Did you have a chance to check the basement?
-Yes. There is nothing but I saw marks on the floor and found one tag from a barrel. They most definitely were there.
-Hm…So you want to say they moved chemicals to another place within two hours and had a chance to kill delivery guys?
-Hm… - Batman stopped working on a computer. -What is your guess?
-You missed something down there… no way they moved all the chemicals.
-It doesn't have to be all chemicals. What if each time the delivery guys had to go to different place and Evan just moved chemicals after deliveries in one place.
-Did you find any car's tires marks in a school basement?
-No.. I didn't.
-So… you missed something down there.
-You may be right. - Batman wasn't angry but he was definitely tired.
"He is just a human. The same as I am so he needs rest."
-Maybe you can tell cops to search better that place and I need to go. It's almost sunrise.
-I'll give you a ride.
When they were driving over the bridge in the Batmobile towards the Zone Batman was quiet but broke silence unexpectedly.
-There is a sealed down entrance in that basement. They sealed it off pretty good. I did my research to broke that concrete level and three more metal plates under it will take a whole crew of construction workers. It can't be broken with explosives because building is very old it will collapse.
-You did find the entrance to where they took chemicals but we can't break in! - Justice felt like she just repeated Batman words but in fact she was just surprised.
-I was checking your reaction.
-You think I work with Evan? - Justice didn't get mad because she didn't trust no one so she understood Batman completely. - I guess now you will trust me a little. What are you going to do with that entrance?
-We can't go from that entrance but it has to have another one. I will check sewage and tunnels if any of them connected to a school basement. He must have some loyal to him people?
Justice knew Evan had some friends who were supporting his way of thinking. He made sort of a club after they left an orphanage. Almost seven years gone since then if he was still hosting that club he must have pretty big following by now. She told Batman everything she knew about Evan's friends. She knew only one name he was friend of Evan since the orphanage times. Wesley Quinke he was always pretty sick boy but they had a close friendship and Evan tried to teach him their symbol language but he wasn't good at it. A lot of times he was in hospitals because of his weak health.
Batman listened but didn't say anything. He dropped her off after the bridge and left. Justice barely made it home unnoticed by regular people who were already out and working… she thought she was unnoticed but maybe somebody saw her or was waiting for her to come back.
