The big moment is finally here
Lincoln's first flight
Now for the reviews.
beninator5, and TheBlazzore: All excellent ideas.
Jason Chandler: I didn't plan on having supergirl. Although now that you mentioned it, I am debating whether or not I should give the sisters powers, and they join Lincoln to form a team at a later chapter.
Lets get to it.
The doors of the ship opened. Lincoln stepped out wearing something completely different.
He now wore a blue suit with a long red cape, and red boots. On his chest was what appeared to be a red S inside a yellow shield.
Lincoln looked down at his new outfit.
"I look pretty good." He said.
Lincoln saw a few boulders nearby and walked up to them.
He remembered what his father told him.
"Test my limits." Lincoln repeated.
He then punched one of the boulders, and it completely shattered.
Lincoln couldn't believe it. He actually shattered a boulder.
Lincoln then shattered two more with his fists.
"This is amazing." Lincoln exclaimed.
He decided to try something different with the next boulder.
He walked up to it and picked it up, raising it over his head.
Lincoln laughed triumphantly.
He then threw it a great distance.
With the next boulder he decided to test his heat vision.
Lincoln aimed his vision at the boulder, then fired his heat vision at it, slicing it in half with ease.
This was awesome. He couldn't wait to show Jordan what he could do.
Now there was one more power he wasn't sure he had.
Could he fly?
Lincoln mentally prepared himself. He breathed in, held it a few seconds, then blew out.
He then leapt into the air, traveling a great distance. He did this two more times. On the fourth jump he tried to remain in the air. At first it seemed he was flying with no problem.
But then he dropped out of the sky and slammed into the ground.
Lincoln slowly got back up groaning.
"Well, that didn't go according to plan." He told himself.
But deep down he felt he could do it.
Lincoln crouched down, put a fist on the ground, took a deep breath.
And with a loud boom he took to the skies.
A sonic boom soon followed.
Lincoln couldn't believe it. He was actually flying.
Lincoln was smiling widely. He was whooping and hollering in joy.
He sped across the skies until he reached the ocean. He then dove down until he was right over the water. He was continuously breaking the sound barrier.
Lincoln then went back up to the sky to perform some crazy maneuvers, such as sharp turns, sudden climbs, sudden drops, and twisting around in the air.
"WOO-HOO." Lincoln yelled in joy.
After about an hour of flying Lincoln made his way back to the ship.
He landed right at the front.
"THAT WAS AWESOME." Lincoln exclaimed joyfully.
Lincoln had all these amazing powers. He felt it would be a waste if he just let them go to waste.
Lincoln realized what he could do with these powers.
He could use them for good.
He could use them to help others.
"I could be a superhero." Lincoln said excitedly.
And thats chapter 10.
Lincoln has now found his calling in life.
