Chapter 3: The House of the Loud.
(Evil-Note.- I want to warn you that this chapter will be, so far, the cruelest of this series, and that if you don't want to see your favorite characters turned into zombies or eaten by them, stop reading right now. Just like the other two chapters of this AU, this one contains descriptions of blood, murder, cannibalism and zombies)
As you can see, the world was going straight to hell.
Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Stream, Ladybug and several others were zombies and with each passing minute, more and more people were eaten or converted, the former being the case of two young heroes from Michigan who lived in an unusual house with nine other sisters.
Lincoln and Leni Loud, better known as Ace Savvy and Style Queen, had made two serious mistakes that day. The first had been to promptly join the team Captain America had assembled to investigate a situation in King County, Georgia.
After encountering who they believed to be their injured friends, they had been infected just like the rest of the team.
And as their second mistake, fearing they would turn into monsters just like Pinkie Pie and the Yellow Ranger had, all of them had dispersed and returned to their respective headquarters, hoping to heal their wounds, not knowing that they would end up spreading the plague.
But getting back to the point, Leni and Lincoln had opened a portal with Leni's dimensional scissors, straight into the room of their second youngest sister, Lisa, hoping that she would have some cure among all of her scientific equipment.
Once both siblings had gone through the portal, they both gasped heavily and grabbed their ankles, which had two large bite wounds.
"Why did... Pinkie and Trini... bite us...?" Leni wondered between gasps.
"I'm more... worried about... ending up... like them..." Lincoln panted. "Lisa... where's Lisa...?"
"She's gone... we have to... we need..."
Leni and Lincoln grunted and clutched their stomachs, feeling pain like never before.
"My tummy...! It hurts too much!" Moaned Leni.
"Mine too... I'm so..." Lincoln gasped.
"... hungry..." They both said.
"Incon? Eni?" Said little Lily.
Leni and Lincoln gritted their teeth and widened their eyes as a certain desire awakened within them.
One that disgusted them and urged them to get as far away from their little sister as possible.
But to their utter horror, they were getting closer and closer to Lily.
"No..." Lincoln gasped. "We can't ... we mustn't...!"
"Lily, no!" Leni said. "Get away from us! We don't wanna hurt you...!"
The girl only managed to tilt her head, not understanding why her older siblings were panting and growling as they approached her, but with each step they took, Lily began to feel more and more scared.
Lincoln tried to knock Leni down to stop both of them and try to give any of their sisters time to come and get Lily away from them, but the girl turned to gold dust and Ace's hand passed through her body.
Ace fell to the ground, hissing and groaning as the feeling of hunger rose inside him, causing a gigantic pain in his stomach that almost made him puke his lunch.
As for Leni, taking advantage of the fact that Lily was petrified, the Inhuman picked her up and looked into her eyes as a sick feeling began to form in her mind.
One that disgusted her but made her mouth water.
Unconsciously, Style Queen tightened her grip around her little sister's body, causing her to moan in pain and understand that she was in serious danger.
Lily tried to use her beast mode to escape from Leni's grasp, but the second oldest of the Loud siblings instinctively turned her fingers into claws and pierced her younger sister's body with them, causing the girl to scream in agony and making Lincoln open his eyes and growl as soon as the smell of blood reached him.
Leni was horrified at what she had done, but despite everything, she just kept digging her claws into Lily's body as she brought her closer to her and unconsciously licked her lips.
Style Queen started to open her mouth to bite Lily, but Ace Savvy quickly got up and started struggling with her for Lily, who was crying and screaming as her siblings kept hurting her.
The tug of war over Lily went on and on until a blood-chilling scream of agony was heard, accompanied by a sickening sound of bones breaking and flesh being ripped apart.
Then Leni and Lincoln looked horrified at what they had done, as Lily was not only dead but also split in half and both were holding one of the bleeding halves of their youngest sister's body.
However, despite the horror and disgust they felt, they both raised the halves of Lily's body and sank their teeth into them, devouring her flesh avidly.
Meanwhile, Luan and Lynn, better known as the heroines Stretch and Streak heard the commotion in their younger sisters' room from the living room, so they both rushed to the room, then Lynn kicked the door open and both sisters let out a gasp of horror and disgust as they saw Lincoln and Leni each holding Lily's nibbled halves, their mouths dripping with blood.
Luan couldn't help herself and turned to empty the contents of her stomach on the hall, while Lynn clenched her teeth and fists, letting a tear run down her cheek.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!" Lynn demanded.
"Get away from us! It's for your own sake!" Said Lincoln.
At the threat, Lynn just screamed and used her superspeed to hit Lincoln with all her might, sending him flying out the window from the force of the impact, while Luan was left paralyzed by the shock of what she had just witnessed.
"I don't know what the hell happened to you guys, but I do know that I'm gonna beat the shit outta you for what you just did..." Lynn tried to say.
Before Lynn could move again, Leni extended her arm and slammed her against the wall, after which Lynn vibrated at a high speed and managed to free herself from her sister's grip and then run towards her and punch her in the face, causing a couple of holes in her cheeks due to the gold dust of which she was composed.
However, Leni simply roared and lunged at Lynn, who managed to dodge her and tried to hit her again, failing again and causing Lynn to give her a series of punches and kicks that caused her to lose more dust and grunt in frustration after the speedster managed to dodge her counterattack again.
"You stand no chance against me, Leni, despite your powers, you're too kind and credulous to beat me." Lynn said without stopping constantly moving.
"You know, Lynn... people usually think I'm the stupid sister but they're wrong... That title is yours..." Leni said with a rather sinister grin.
"Oh yeah? Why?"
"Because your attacks are very predictable and like, because you forgot that I can do this..."
At that moment, Leni snapped her fingers, creating a spike in the ground with the dust that Lynn had punched off her, right where the speedster had set her right foot on. Feeling the spike through her foot, Lynn let out a cry of pain, which was quickly silenced when the girl ended up tripping due to the injury and the speed with which she was moving, which in turn caused her to end up going through the wall and the railing of the stairs, hurtling down to the ground floor of the Loud house and slamming against the computer, the lamp, and the sofa in a bad way in the process.
Lynn grunted in pain and saw the bleeding hole in her foot, letting out a gasp, then she tried to stand up but the fall had also dislocated her right arm, so Lynn grunted and crawled across the floor towards her parents' room while Leni descended like dust down the hole the speedster had made.
On the other hand, Lincoln jumped back to Lily's room, ready to hit Lynn back, but he could only see Leni in her dust form going down a hole in the wall and Luan still on her knees with her gaze on the ground and over a puddle of vomit and bile.
Lincoln was about to follow Leni to attack Lynn, but before he could take a step, Luan turned her head to look at him with an expression of shock and disgust that reminded Lincoln of what he had done to earn such a look.
"Because...?" Luan asked.
"Pinkie Pie bit me and Trini bit Leni, they... they were infected by something in the universe that Mr. Fantastic and Lisa found..." Lincoln said before bending over and grabbing his stomach for the pain caused by the hunger.
"Lisa can help you, she can heal them, just help me to contain Leni, please, Lincoln..."
"It's late, sister... About Lily... Even if we get cured, neither Leni nor I could live with that... Her blood is literally on our hands... or rather, practically on our entire bodies, hehehe... get it...?"
Luan felt a chill run down her spine as she listened to Lincoln make that cruel joke with a rather deranged smile, but hiding a great shame and remorse for what he had done, which made Luan have an iota of hope that she could still save her brother.
"Lincoln, please don't make me hurt you..." Luan begged as a tear ran down her cheek. "Just let me help you..."
"Please go, Luan, please... I don't wanna hurt you... Run away and don't look back..."
"No, Lincoln, I'm not gonna let neither you nor Leni hurt Lynn."
"She had it coming, she deserves it and you know it..."
"Is this what Peter has taught you all this time? Is that the true meaning of With great power comes great responsibility?"
"Don't bring that up, Luan, please, just go, you don't have clean hands either..."
"I thought we had already left that behind."
"Do you really think that acting like a fucking psycho every bloody April Fools' Day and getting involved in all the Bad Luck was a good thing?" Lincoln asked between grunts. "And let's not even talk about when you joined Magneto and his evil mutants..."
"It's all in the past now..."
"Oh, right, so now everything is forgiven, ain't it? That sounds like shit to me, you must pay for your crimes..."
"You yourself forgave me for all that ..."
"Just by word, inside I wanted you to be sent to the Hydro-Base, both for the psychopathy you called a sense of humor and for having been a criminal..."
"That's not true ... it's just the virus talking."
"You are a fucking criminal, Luan, you deserve to rot in the Hydro-Base so that you don't hurt anyone anymore... or better yet, you deserve to die..."
At that moment, Lincoln smirked maliciously and tried to pounce at Luan, who dodged him by taking advantage of her elastic abilities, then wrapped herself around her younger brother, restricting his movement and trying to keep her limbs as far away from Lincoln's teeth as possible.
"Let's get you to Lisa's lab." Luan said as she forced her brother to walk.
"Let me go!" Lincoln growled.
Lincoln growled and tried to free himself, struggling with Luan to make her release him, and after his sister forced him to the stairs, Lincoln saw no other way out than to jump over them, injuring himself and causing Luan to hit herself on the head and unconsciously let him go. Lincoln grunted and stood up, shaking his head a little to shake off his daze from falling down the stairs.
On her side, Leni transformed her arm into a blade and cut the armchair in half, then transformed the blade into a mallet and hit the furniture hard, destroying it and pushing it out of her way. Then the infected heroine roared in annoyance as she still couldn't find Lynn.
"You can't hide from me, Lynn!" Leni roared. "Come out wherever the hell you are hiding so I can split your head and eat your brains! If you have the guts and a brain to begin with!"
At that moment, Leni heard some commotion behind her, which made her turn around and frown when she didn't see Lynn, but Luan and Lincoln.
Leni roared in frustration and created a golden stake with her arm, then lunged at Luan, who barely managed to recover from Lincoln's maneuver and was able to flatten her head enough for Leni's attack to end up hitting the ground, then he retracted his limbs and formed a wheel with his body to roll on the ground and away from her siblings as they retook an attack position.
"I told you to go away, Luan..." Lincoln growled. "I warned you... But now I'm gonna enjoy eating you... I just hope you don't taste like rubber..."
"Please, I just want to help you..." Luan implored. "Let me take you to Lisa, she will know what to do."
"If helping us is your intention..." Leni said. "STOP MOVING AND LET US EAT YOU!"
Leni again raised her stake and lunged at Luan, who was pushed away from danger. Luan fell to the ground and heard a cry of pain, then turned and was shocked again to see Lynn behind her, still with her arms outstretched and panting heavily in a vain attempt to breathe as Leni's stake pierced her abdomen from side to side.
"Lynn!" Luan cried.
"Run..." Lynn said while coughing up blood.
"And they say I'm stupid..." Leni laughed as she brought Lynn's body closer to her. "I knew that that minimum iota of concern you had for us would make you save the only idiot in this family who competes with you for the title of worst sister..."
"I'll see you... in hell... Leni..." Lynn gasped with her last breath.
After Lynn's last words, Leni changed the stake with which she had killed the athlete to some sort of axe, cutting Lynn's body in half. Leni was left with the lower part of the corpse and Lincoln with the upper one, then both began to butcher the body with their bare hands, gladly gobbling up the flesh of their sister, right in front of Luan's tearful and stunned gaze.
"Who'd say...?" Lincoln laughed after cracking Lynn's skull. "Lynn did have a brain..."
"And her flesh is so low in fat that it could very well be dietary." Leni said as she ripped chunks of flesh off Lynn's leg. "But I just don't like it... it tastes bitter. Even when she is dead, she's still a nuisance to her siblings."
Leni let go of Lynn's leg and turned her attention to Luan, grinning wickedly at the comedian's tears and shocked expression, and pounced on her.
Stretch dodged his older sister's onslaught, but Ace Savvy caught her off guard and hit her in the face with all his might using Streak's head, sending her crashing into the wall, then Ace Savvy grabbed her by the legs as Style Queen grabbed her by the neck and strangled her slowly.
"Let's see how elastic you are..." Ace Savvy laughed.
After saying that, Style Queen and Ace Savvy started pulling Luan, stretching her body all over the living room of the Loud house.
"No bad jokes or stupid comments about this...?" Style Queen hissed, smiling sinisterly. "Or is it that we already ripped your tongue out? Hehehe, get it?"
At that moment, a sonic boom was heard, which alerted the infected siblings, as that meant that the most powerful among the Loud siblings was approaching.
Before anyone could proceed, Lori Loud, better known as Majestia, kicked open the front door, a worried look on her face, then gasped as she saw Lynn's torn body on the ground, while Lincoln and Leni were holding Luan's body, but what alarmed her the most was that both Ace and Style Queen were covered in blood and lipless, revealing their now deformed teeth.
"No..." Lori said stunned. "Y-you..."
"Get out of here, Majestia... This doesn't concern you..." Leni hissed.
"Tom and K.A.R.E.N. were right..."
"Please, Lori, we wanted to avoid this with Lynn and Luan, we don't want to do the same to you..." Lincoln implored as he let go of Lynn's head.
"Lisa... Lisa must have a cure..."
"It won't do any good..." Luan said with a broken voice.
"What...?"
"Look at them... Do you think... we can really... overcome this?"
"They're our siblings."
"They WERE our siblings... Now they are monsters..."
"Wrong, they are the future." Said a voice from the dining room.
Lincoln, Luan, Lori and Leni turned around and gasped as they saw the resident genius of the Loud house, Lisa, wearing her Iron Heart armor, but with her head uncovered, outlining her now classic sinister smile, the one that he did every time she covered up something that was good for her investigations.
"What are you talking about?" Lori said.
"I'm talking, of course, that everything is proceeding just as Richards and I planned." Lisa explained. "This gift that we found is the next evolution of the human race, a race without moral limitations or driven by greed, much less hampered by the difference of ideals between individuals. A race where the least fit are nothing but ailment for those who are superior. So just to clarify, I have no intention of curing them... Although of course, I couldn't have done it either, since there is no cure."
"What the hell...?" Luan said.
"However, I must admit that it is a pity that our fraternal units known as Lilian and Lynnette have been among the least fit, but every improvement requires sacrifices, and their lives now serve a greater purpose."
"You... You turned us into this..." Lincoln said as rage invaded his being again. "Because of your fucking fault I killed and ate Lily..."
"Now you are a more advanced being, Lincoln, I made you one of the many members of a superior race..."
"You turned us into monsters!" Style Queen roared.
"For a mind as insignificant as yours it may seem like that, but you don't understand it, none of you understand it..."
At that moment, Majestia couldn't take it anymore and fired a burst of photons at Iron Heart, sending her through the dining room wall, then charged more energy into her hands and assumed a fighting stance, threatening Leni and Lincoln.
"Release Luan immediately or I will kill you..." Majestia growled.
"Come take her from us if you can..." Style Queen challenged her older sister as she tightened her grip on Stretch.
Majestia roared and fired a blast of energy at Style Queen's head, destroying her head and causing her to unconsciously let go of Stretch, who took advantage of it to kick Ace Savvy in the face and push him off her. Then Stretch stretched up to stand next to Majestia and they both took a defensive position.
"We're leaving, Luan..." Lori said.
"Don't even dream of it, Majestia..." Ace Savvy growled. "You are our food..."
"And I'm not going to let you ruin this, Richards and I invested too much time and resources for a couple of idiots to get in the way." Iron Heart said as she flew back to the room, with her armor ready for combat.
Majestia narrowed her eyes and prepared to attack, however Style Queen got ahead of her, turning her fists gigantic to hit Majestia and Stretch with her right fist, while catching Iron Heart with her other hand.
"You did this to me! I'm going to tear you apart to pieces! LITERALLY!" Style Queen roared.
That said, Leni divided her arm into four tentacles, holding all of Lisa's limbs, who began to struggle to free herself from Style Queen's grip.
"No!" Iron Heart yelled desperately. "This can't end like this for me! I was supposed to join you!"
"You said that in this new world, the less fit are food for the better..." Said Style Queen.
"But you are even less than that, you will only be junk and rotten flesh..." Ace Savvy added.
Leni began to pull on Lisa's limbs with force at the same time that she crushed them, activating the integrity alarms of both Iron Heart's armor and body, however, before she could rip off her arms and legs, Majestia shot her a blast of energy at Style Queen again but now aimed at her arm to free Iron Heart, while Stretch threw a lamp at Ace Savvy straight at his head. After that, Stretch reached out and pulled Iron Heart closer to her, noticing that her limbs were useless.
"Run!" Majestia said.
Leni and Lincoln roared at the actions of their sisters, and before they could escape, they pounced on them and began to struggle with them, while Lisa fell to the ground, breaking her leg when she fell badly on it.
After this, Stretch tried to attack Ace, growing his fist and throwing a punch to push him enough to escape, but he covered himself with both arms and withstood the impact, then he grabbed Stretch by the arm and used it to crash her several times against the ground, at which Majestia tried to hit him, only for Style Queen to regain her solid form, stop her fist and head butt her.
Lori growled at Leni's attack, then grabbed her by the neck and tried to smash her to the ground, but the girl reverted to her dust form and reformed behind her older sister, kicking her with all her might, making Lori go through. the walls and stairs, falling into the backyard.
"Since we have our powers, you claimed to be the most powerful, Lorraine..." Leni said with a macabre smile. "But you were wrong... I AM THE MOST POWERFUL!"
"I'm not beaten yet, Lenore..." Majestia growled as her eyes began to emanate a golden energy, at the same time she took flight. "I held back all this time because I didn't want someone to get hurt! But now I don't have to do it with you!"
Majestia's body began to emanate the same golden energy as her eyes and her hair stood on end and rose, waving like fire, while Style Queen simply touched the shattered frame of the back door of the Loud house and the wall began to turn into gold dust, which joined Leni's body and began to grow her into a terrifying humanoid figure composed solely of gold dust, and once they were ready, both sisters roared and launched into combat, aiming to kill the other.
Meanwhile, Ace Savvy had tried to bite into Stretch's arm that he still held, but the mutant slipped out of his grip and reached out to deliver a powerful punch at Ace, sending him crashing into the television. Ace growled and grabbed the remains of the television to throw at his sister, who managed to dodge them without much trouble, but almost immediately, a playing card stuck to her blouse, emitted an orange glow and exploded, sending her crashing hard into the wall, but since her body was elastic, she didn't take as much damage. Still, the girl ended up stunned enough that Ace pounced on her and tried to bite her again, but Stretch reacted in time and managed to tie his arm around Ace's neck and reach out to grab onto the doorframe, choking a little Ace and managing to keep his jaws away from her.
Stretch began to tighten the grip of her arm around her brother's neck, who began to growl in discomfort, so Spider-Man's young pupil charged orange energy in his hand to hit Stretch with all his might in the face, causing her to lose her grip on him, however, Stretch had expected such a move, so as soon as she received Ace's punch, she used her other fist to knock him away with a blow to the stomach.
Lincoln spun in the air and fell to his feet, pulling multiple cards from his belt to throw at Luan, the first caused a strong electrical current to run through his body, the second created a blast that froze her torso, and the third created a small explosion that was strong enough to destroy the frozen part of her body.
Stretch let out a cry of pain as she was snapped in two and felt her legs still on the ground, as well as the growing pool of blood beneath her.
Luan tried to crawl along the ground to get away from Lincoln, but he pounced on top of her, grabbed her by the shoulders and bit her on the neck, having some difficulty to be able to pierce her flesh with his teeth, but due to the elasticity of Luan's body, her skin was difficult to break through, still when he finally did, the comedian could not utter a cry, as the massive loss of blood had already left her very weak.
"Lincoln..." Stretch gasped as Ace managed to rip off a piece of meat. "Please..."
"Yuck, you really taste like plastic..." Ace said before spitting out the chunk of flesh he had ripped from Stretch.
"Lincoln, bite me, please..." Iron Heart asked as her self-repair system managed to reactivate her arms. "Let me join you as a higher being..."
"No! I told you that you would just be rotten flesh and junk!" Ace Savvy roared as he threw explosive cards at Iron Heart. "AND I PLAN TO KEEP THAT PROMISE!"
Iron Heart growled and fired her repulsors at the cards that her brother had thrown at her, however, Ace knew that Iron Heart would do something like that so he pounced on her and grabbed her by the legs to slam her with all his might against the wall, the floor and the ceiling, destroying part of the cyborg's armor and causing serious damage to her inner mechanisms.
However, Lisa wasn't going to give up yet, so she emitted an electric pulse on her body, damaging Lincoln and causing him to let go of her, letting her fall inceremoniously as another of her armors came closer to replace the one Ace Savvy and Style Queen had destroyed.
Meanwhile, outside the house, the older sister duo attacked each other, with Majestia firing a blast of energy and Style Queen taking the attack like nothing, catching Majestia in her fist to bring her close to her jaws, but Majestia created a shock wave around her, destroying Style Queen's fist and firing another blast at her sister with all her power using both hands, managing to vaporize all the dust her attack touched and finally making the infected roar in pain.
"I'm really sorry, Leni!" Majestia yelled as she continued to vaporize Style Queen's gold dust. "But I will not allow you or Lincoln to endanger our other sisters!"
"YOU WILL NOT BEAT ME, LORI!" Style Queen roared.
The Inhuman roared again and threw a slap at Majestia, managing to hit her and send her to the ground, however Majestia got up again and lunged at Style Queen, crashing against her abdomen, managing to destroy her for a few seconds, then the infected girl regenerated and tried to hit the mutate again, but she blocked the blow with both forearms and created a shock wave to destroy her younger sister's arm, forcing her to back off a bit and turn part of the roof of the house into more gold dust to grow in size again.
After that, Ace was thrown into the backyard and a couple of missiles took Majestia down, drawing Style Queen's attention and making her snarl as she noticed Iron Heart back on her feet and in a new armor.
"I've had enough with Lincoln's reluctance to grant me this gift that I brought to our universe myself, so I will eliminate you if you refuse to allow me to join you." Iron Heart said to Style Queen.
"THE ONLY THING YOU WILL HAVE IS A GRAVE FOR WHAT YOU DID!" Stretch roared behind Iron Heart.
Iron Heart gasped as she heard the sister she believed dead, then was sent crashing into the backyard tree as an infected Stretch made herself present, using her arms to move as she lost her legs when she faced Ace Savvy.
"Luan... No..." Majestia said when she saw with tears in her eyes how another of her sisters had fallen victim to the virus.
"Go while I can still control myself, Lori..." Stretch said. "I-I... I'll try to hold them off... as long as I can..."
"Luan..."
"I'M ALREADY SICK OF ALL OF YOU!" Iron Heart roared as she towered over everyone and activated the entire arsenal of her armor. "IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO APPRECIATE MY GIFT, I WILL JUST REMOVE YOU FROM THE MAP SO YOU WILL NOT INTER...!"
Before Iron Heart could finish her threat, Ace Savvy took advantage of her distraction to jump high enough to hit her with all his might on the head, and thanks to the fact that her body was still not completely repaired, he managed to rip her head off with the hit, then grabbed the decapitated body of the now younger of the Loud siblings to throw it at Stretch, knocking her down and making her gasp when she noticed several freezer cards in the body, which detonated and completely frozen the newly infected one.
"LUAN!" Majestia yelled.
Lincoln pulled one last card from his belt and threw it against Luan's frozen body, causing it to explode into a thousand pieces as the infected hero fell to the ground gracefully and walked towards Iron Heart's head, who looked at him with fear and despair.
"Please, Lincoln! I just wanted the best...!" Begged Lisa.
"SHUT UP!" Lincoln roared as he stomped on Lisa's head.
The skull of the resident genius of the Loud house exploded as it was trampled, sending pieces of brain, bone, blood and oil stains, and various metal pieces flying into the surrounding area, causing Ace Savvy to gasp in fury.
Meanwhile, Lori let a tear roll down her cheek as she raised her hand and put on a face of absolute anger at everything she had just witnessed, then she charged a large amount of energy into her fist and tried to fire it at Lincoln to finish him off once and for all.
Unfortunately for Miss Marvel's pupil, she had forgotten that her true opponent was still standing.
Thus, Leni materialized right in front of Lori, grabbing her arm and spreading gold dust over it, covering almost the entire limb.
Majestia tried to struggle with Style Queen to free herself from her, but as soon as she did, several gold spikes pierced into her flesh, making her scream in pain.
"Did you forget about me, Lori?" Leni said with a deranged smile. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, and they say that I'm stupid..."
Then Style Queen grew in size again, still holding Majestia by the arm as the blood from her wounds trickled down her arm, soaking her outfit, while Lori kept trying to free herself from Leni's grasp, but it was useless.
Style Queen roared and slowly brought Majestia closer to her jaws with the intention of devouring her whole, before Majestia's desperate gaze.
However, something instinctive awakened in Lori's mind a few seconds before being eaten, and in a sudden movement, Lori managed to break her arm, then she turned and put her legs in the mass that imprisoned her arm, feeling how splinters of bone dug into her flesh and the broken parts of the bone itself ripped through muscle and skin, making her scream in pain. But even so, Majestia continued to obey her survival instinct and yanked hard, hearing a disgusting sound as she managed to free herself from Style Queen's grip, but losing her arm in the process.
The youngest member of the Avengers fell to the ground with a thud, feeling weak and tired, then took a look at her severed arm, seeing her blood gush out of the stump, then looked up and watched the Style Queen return slowly back to normal size as she took the remains of her missing arm and devoured it in one bite.
Ace Savvy smelled the scent of Majestia's blood and tried to pounce on her to finally devour her, but fate smiled at the blonde at last.
A repulsor beam struck Lincoln on the back, pushing him away from Lori as she was picked up by a blue-haired teen.
"She's alive and uninfected! But she's losing too much blood!" Said the blue-haired boy.
"Get her out of here! We'll distract the Louds!" Said a three-eyed boy with horns and salmon-colored hair.
"Flash...?" Lori said with what little strength she had left.
"Hold on a bit, Lori! You'll be fine!"
"SHE'S MINE!" Style Queen roared before a couple of missiles destroyed it momentarily.
"That won't stop her for long! Let's go, Tom!" Said a boy wearing blue, red and white armor.
"HARRY!" Roared another voice.
At that moment, Tom and American Son gasped as they saw Stream, Iron Fist, Ladybug, Rena Rouge, Carapace, and Spider-Man emerge from a pair of dimensional portals, all of them drenched in blood, their lips ripped off, their teeth crooked and with blank eyes.
"Peter..." American Son gasped.
"I told you it was too late to save him..." Tom snapped.
"Just give up and let us eat your delicious flesh..." Rena Rouge said.
"That way we won't hurt you..." Ladybug panted as she spun her yo-yo. "... too much."
"You joined the fun side, well done, Pete..." Lincoln chuckled.
"I didn't want to... but I was hungry... Mary Jane... How I wish I could rip you apart and eat your sweet flesh again..." Spider-Man said before smiling madly. "I hope you taste as good as she did, Harry..."
"I've had enough of you! I'm going to burn you for everything you've done!" Tom said as he took flight.
Tom roared and fired a large amount of fire towards the infected heroes, however Carapace laughed at the demon's actions and leapt forward with his shield ready to shout:
"Shell-ter!"
A green energy shield surrounded the infected heroes and completely covered them from Tom's attack, then American Son grabbed the demon by the foot and dragged him away from the infected teens, taking advantage of the distraction caused by the fire and Carapace's power, while a few streets away, a S.H.I.E.L.D. transport was waiting for them, with Flash Sentry inside setting Lori down on a stretcher for a couple of agents to give her first aid and stop the bleeding.
American Son and Tom crashed in front of the transport, then they both stood up and jumped inside as the vehicle took off and sped away from Royal Woods.
Meanwhile, after the fire and the Shell-ter dissipated, the infected noticed that the newcomers had managed to take Lori and were gone, causing them to roar in annoyance at the loss of more food.
Meanwhile, in the transport, the agents were putting an oxygen mask on the heroine, while she felt weak and dizzy, but she managed to see how her younger sisters Lola, Lana, Lucy and Luna were also inside the transport, all of them looking at her with a mixture of shock and horror.
"L-Lori?" Lola said completely horrified.
"She's not turning into one of them, is she?" Asked Lana fearfully.
"No, Style Queen didn't injure her in a way that she could infect her." American Son sighed as he took off his helmet. "Damn, this... I really can't believe this..."
"I couldn't either, but it's true." Tom said.
"We must focus on saving as many as we can." Flash said.
"We will, but for now we must meet with the others on the Helicarrier to form a plan of attack." Luna said.
"We're lucky that Fury had a contingency plan for something like this."
"Something tells me that it will not be enough and that this is really going to be the end of everything..." Lucy said in a dark tone.
