A/N: I only own the OC

I was asked to write a Wardlow story, and because I had promised this before I stopped taking request... here it is.

I sighed as I ran my hand through my hair. I didn't want to be here right now but I had promised my brother I would show up. I didn't get why he was so into wrestling, why he bothered anymore, or why he wouldn't just do something normal. He made it really hard to be his sibling. I was CM Punk's little sister, by 10 years, and after watching him do this for 20 years I was over it. I had seen him get hurt, get fucked over, and thank goodness for AJ or who knows where he would be right now.I had paced his locker room a few times, checked to see that my plain brown hair was still up in a messy bun, and my black framed glasses were still on my face. I heard the door open after I sat back down and figured it was Phil so I didn't bother look up.

"What's up, Punkette?" A voice said and my head shot up from where I was looking at my phone. I hadn't heard that nickname in a long time. I was looking up to see Cash and Dax standing next to me. They had taken to my brother and even helped him come back.

"Guys." I said and they chuckled.

"Where is your brother?" Cash asked me and I shrugged.

"I don't know. I'm watching Larry. He was getting ready or something." I said and they both nodded.

"Is it a bad match tonight?" I asked Cash after Dax walked back out. Cash and I had become friend because we were closer to the same age.

"It shouldn't be." He said and I nodded. I worried about my brother after all his injuries.

"Thanks." He said and I chuckled.

"We are going out tonight... you may want to come?" He asked me.

"Is Jamie coming?" I asked him and he nodded. I had gotten close to Cash's girlfriend over the year or so I was coming around again. She had become one of my close friends.

"Yeah, I'll come out." I said and he chuckled before leaving. I heard my brothers music and I turned my head to the TV. He was dealing with some feud against some guy named MJF and a big guy named Wardlow... I wish he would have just gone back to the WWE. We could have at least worked together again, but once he made it clear he wasn't coming back... they kind of shoved me out the door. He knew I was still pissed that I lost my job because of his decisions. I should have been grateful because it got me away from my ex, Wade Barrett. Phil had always been against that relationship, and was never happier when I finally broke up with him before I was let go.

I watched as he walked out and then whoever came out. They didn't do much other than talk. I glad when it was over because what people didn't realize is that my brother was constantly injured.

I was playing with Larry when Phil walked in with some shorter guy that had big curly hair.

"Tony, this is my sister, Rae." He said and Tony stuck his hand out to me. I wasn't sure why I was being introduced, but I shook it.

"Rae, this is Tony, he owns AEW... and he is looking for a new costume designer." He said and I was surprised. Phil knew I blamed him for losing my job with the WWE.

"I have seen your work on the WWE, and Phil's stuff. I don't need to see much more. Would you like to come to work for me?" He asked me and I was surprised. I didn't expect it, but maybe Phil knew because he was so damn insistent I fly to Jacksonville immediately to see him.

"I would love to work for you." I said and he smiled at me.

"Great, I will have them create the paperwork. Can you come by the office tomorrow?" He asked me and I agreed to meet him at 11am tomorrow in Jacksonville. He left and Phil pulled me into a hug.

"Now, let's get ready to go out." He said and I nodded. I wasn't so mad at Phil anymore, but now I realized I was working with a whole new set of wrestlers.

"You could at least look happy." He said once we both got changed. I raised an eyebrow at him and threw up his hands in surrender. I felt like when I was out of the WWE that I wouldn't have to deal with the wrestling world anymore, but here I was back in it. I knew that I could have said no at anytime to Tony's offer, but I did need a job. I already knew how to do it, and I guess that I could do it until I found something else.

We walked out to the parking area and I was immediately hugged by Jamie. I didn't know she was already here or I would have been hanging out with her.

"I heard you are the newest AEW employee." she said and I smirked. I wasn't surprised Phil had already told everyone.

"I am... I got the offer a little bit ago and I finalize it tomorrow." I said and she hugged me again. Jamie had an at home business that allowed her to travel with Cash. They had met while he was at home in North Carolina and been together ever since.

"Yay, now I have a travel buddy." she said and Cash looked offended.

"Really?" he said as we all laughed.

"I'm sorry, do you understand period pains?" she asked him and I had to stifle a laugh as he turned bright red.

"Come on, I want some beer." Dax finally said and motioned us towards the cars. I opted to ride with Phil instead of Jamie and Cash, who seemed like it was about to be a fight.

We got to a local dive bar, and everyone ordered. Phil had his water, and I was drinking a beer along with everyone else. I wasn't too picky. We were talking and having fun when Dax groaned. We all glanced at the door. I knew the people walking in were from AEW, but I didn't know who they were. I could just tell that they weren't liked by anyone at this table.

"Great." Phil mumbled and Cash sighed.

"Just ignore them." Jamie said and I nodded in agreement. We all soon forgot about the other group and went back to talking about stupid stuff.

"Anyone need another one?" Dax asked and we all wanted another one. I got up to help him.

We were grabbing the bottles when I felt a presence beside me. I looked up to see a guy in black trousers and a blue button down shirt looking down at me.

"Can I help you?" I asked him as I felt Dax move right next to me.

"Yes, I believe you can..." he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry, I talk to people who can actually spell their own name." I said as Dax chuckled and we grabbed the beers. I left the blue eyed man standing there stunned. I guess no one had ever turned him down before. I guess there was a first for everything.

"I see you met MJF." Phil said and I shrugged.

"Sure, I told him I only talk to people who can actually spell their own name." I said and they were all laughing.

"To Rae coming to AEW." Phill said and we all clinked glasses and bottles. I realized right then and there that maybe coming to AEW wouldn't be the worst thing in the world... maybe.
