The Headless Horseman
A full moon shined over the city of the village of Sleepy Hollow in New York, one late Halloween evening as silhouettes of people dancing and the sound of music could be heard from within a house. Bandit Heeler and his sons Thomas and Levon were attending this very party after being invited by his former brother in law and biological uncle to his oldest son Thomas, Prince Husky. Thomas looked over in the corner and noticed that Levon was drinking punch alone. The Heeler-Husky wondered why the Grey Wolf wasn't socializing before he walked over to him. "Hey, you okay?" Thomas asked his adopted younger brother.
"Oh, hey Thomas." Levon greeted him before he took a sip of his drink, "Yeah, I'm okay." He replied as he looked around the room at all the guests. "Are you sure? Are you feeling alright? Since it being your first time in the states," Thomas said as he sat next to him. "Well, it's not that..." Levon replied as he rubbed the back of his head, "It's just... I'm not used to being around your family." He said, looking around at Prince, Thomas' grandparents Willow and Richard, and their various friends and other family members. "Don't worry they love you," Thomas replied with a smile, trying to reassure his younger brother.
"I know they do, I just don't want Uncle Prince and Dad to get into a fight." Levon sighed before he stood up and finished his cup of punch. "I'm gonna go grab something to eat." He said before walking over to the snack table as Thomas watched him. Levon grabbed a plate before glancing at the variety of foods and snacks that were laid out for the guests. "This all looks really good." The Grey Wolf muttered to himself before grabbing a sandwich and a handful of chips. He walked over to the side of the table and began to eat his sandwich.
"You're having fun aren't you?" Thomas asked as he walked over to the food table, "Don't get me wrong, I am." Levon replied before he took a bite of his sub sandwich. "That's good," Thomas said with a smile. The sound of familiar laughter caught the two Heeler brothers' attention. They both looked over and saw their father bobbing for apples as Prince was laughing at his attempts. "Oh my God, you can't catch an apple!" The Red and Black Husky said as he continued to laugh at Bandit. "Hey! I'd like to see you try, mate!" The Blue Heeler father of four replied as water dripped off of his head.
"This should be good," Thomas whispered to his brother. "Alright! Step aside Heeler!" Prince said, getting ready to get an apple. "Alright, you cocky bloke! You give it a try!" Bandit replied with a chuckle as he stepped aside and allowed his former brother in law to have his turn. "Watch and learn, MATE!" Prince teased before he dunked his head into the apple tank. After a couple of minutes, Prince lifted his head, gasping for air with no apple in his mouth as Bandit busted out laughing. Thomas chuckled "At least they're not "fighting, fighting" Thomas said while watching them.
"Absolutely." Levon replied to his older brother before continuing to eat his sandwich, "MOVE ASIDE LADIES, LET A PRO SHOW YOU HOW IT'S DONE!" The voice of Thomas' grandfather, Richard, yelled as he walked over to the large tub filled with apples. "Oh boy," Thomas muttered as he watched his grandfather walk over to the apple bobbing tub. "Oh yeah? Okay, Dad. Put your money where your mouth is!" Prince said, rolling his eyes before stepping aside. "Alright, Richard. Show us how it's done!" Bandit said with a chuckle as he stood next to Prince as they watched the Husky patriarch dunk his head into the tub. "You got this grandpa!" Thomas cheering for his grandfather.
Moments Later, Richard's head resurfaced, revealing no apple in his mouth. "Ha!" Prince cried out as he laughed at his father's attempt to grab an apple. "Guess it's been a while." Richard replied with a chuckle as water dripped from the top of his head. Everyone laughed as Willow walked over to the boys. "Levon Honey I made your favorite," Willow said, holding a plate in her hand. "Oh huh, thank you, Grandma Willow. You didn't have to." Levon replied, surprised as he took the plate of taco dip with some crackers with the letters R.I.P. on them. "It's my pleasure sweetheart," Willow replied with a smile.
"Geez Grandma, he's already eaten two plates from the food table. You keep feeding him, and there won't be any more food left!" Thomas said with a chuckle, "Nonsense, he's all skin and bones!" Willow retorted as she patted Levon's stomach. "He's taller than I am, and I'm older than him!" Thomas said as he compared his and his little brother's height as the Grey Wolf towered over the Heeler-Husky mix just slightly. "Well, you are older than me by two years." Levon replied before continuing to eat his plate of taco dip. "He does have a fast metabolism and he's young! He needs to eat and you too sweetie you need to eat as well," Willow said looking at her grandson.
"I-It's okay Grandma Husky, I already ate earlier." Thomas replied with a small chuckle. Levon chuckled before he looked up at a picture hanging over a fireplace, it was of a tan FoxHound dressed in old-fashioned attire. "Hey grandma who's that picture of? I don't remember that being there," Thomas asked, looking up at the picture upon noticing it. "Oh, that's a portrait of Ichabod Crane. A man who traveled here to Sleepy Hollow." Willow explained as she looked up at the portrait. "What happened during his trip here?" Levon asked as he munched on the crackers on his plate. "Unfortunately he was an outcast, but a great school teacher," Willow explained. "I think I remember you telling this Story when I was younger grandma," Thomas said
"I've never heard of it." Levon replied as he finished his plate of taco dip. "What happened next?" He asked he wiped his mouth. "There was a beautiful woman that Ichabod was very interested in and there was a dog very jealous of him," Willow continued. "Story as old as time." Levon replied as he looked over at Thomas with a smug grin. Thomas shook his head. "It was a very dark stormy night on Halloween where Ichabod had disappeared from the headless horseman," Willow continued on.
"The Headless Horseman?!" Levon asked as his eyes widened in amazement. "Who's that?" He asked as his tail wagged excitedly. Willow then cleared her throat and then started to explain. "A long time ago before Ichabod showed up, a battle took place where a soldier and his horse were in the mist of fighting. Suddenly, a cannon was fired, and the cannonball took the horseman's head clean off his shoulders! After he was killed, his body was burned, and he was buried in a cemetery not too far from here." The Red and White Husky told Levon and Thomas as a chill went up Thomas' spine.
"Now, on that dark Halloween night when Ichabod was riding his horse home. The headless horseman appeared!" Willow said. "oh! Telling the boys that sorry huh?" Richard said with a smirk. " I will tell the rest!" Richard said wagging his tail. Willow rolled her eyes and stepped aside to let her husband tell the rest of the story in a scary way. "What happened next, Grandpa Richard?!" Levon asked as his tail wagged excitedly, and his eyes beamed in wonder. "Ichabod ran! As fast as he could! With so much fear!" Richard said raising his voice. "Woah! What was he running from?" Levon asked with a raised eyebrow, not losing an ounce of his interest in the story.
"The Headless Horseman! He laughed his evil laugh as he chased Ichabod! Through the forest!" Richard said. "Wow..." Levon muttered in astonishment as he became enthralled in the tale. "What happened next?" He asked. "Ichabod then reached the red bridge and tried to escape the Headless Horseman but it was too late!" Richard said again raising his voice to try and scare his grandsons. "Wait? What happened to Ichabod?!" Levon asked as his tail stopped wagging as Thomas rolled his eyes and shook his head at his younger brother. The headless horseman threw his pumpkin head at Ichabod and then he was never ever seen again and the legend says that the horseman is still looking for his head to this day!" Richard shouted.
"Woah!" Levon replied with a smile, "Oh come on, Levon. You honestly don't believe this story?" Thomas asked with a raised eyebrow, "What? It was an awesome story!" The Grey Wolf retorted as he turned to look at his older brother. "I remember when you were little Thomas. You believed it too," Richard said with a light chuckle. "Grandpa!" Thomas groaned, making the old husky laugh. "Well, I think it was great! I think I should draw a heavy metal cover of the Headless Horseman!" Levon replied as he looked at his grandfather. "Oh! So you draw huh?" Richard asked.
"Oh, um, from time to time, I do, Grandpa Husky." Levon replied with a nod of his head. "Yeah he's pretty good," Thomas said, vouching for him. "My drawings aren't that good! They're not as good as yours are!" Levon replied with a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. "Hey you're still good," Thomas said, rubbing the top of his brother's head. "Eh, maybe." Levon replied with a chuckle before he walked outside to look up at the moon. Levon took a deep breath as the fog started to startle in. Thomas had a great idea to try and scare his brother.
Levon pulled out his phone and took a picture of the moon, and smiled, "Tonight sure is a beautiful night." He said as he turned around, grabbing Thomas before putting him into a headlock and proceeding to give him a noogie. "Damn Levon! How are you so good at that?" Thomas asked while in the headlock. "When you've been scared as much as I have, you tend to grow some instincts." Levon said as he released his older brother. "Also, I could hear your footsteps sneaking up behind me." He said with a chuckle. Thomas chuckled, "not even Bluey or Bingo can scared you, I remember when they tired with you when you were ten," Thomas said.
"Not true! Remember the time we were at the park and Bingo wandered off?" Levon asked with a raised eyebrow. "Y-yeah... you were so mad at me," Thomas said with ears lowered now remembering the time Bingo wondered off at the park during Halloween.
(Flashback)
It was early evening one night in the neighborhood as Thomas and Levon were taking their younger sister, Bluey, and Bingo out trick or treating. All the kids were having so much fun. "Alright Bluey, you and Bingo. You both need to stay close to me and Thomas, okay?" Levon said, holding Bluey's hand as they both walked around the neighborhood. "Okay!" They both said. "Can we get a toffee apple?" Bingo asked as her tail upon seeing one of their neighbors handing out some toffee apples. "Of course we can Bingo, but right now, we need to fill you and Bluey's bags full of lollies. "Yay!" Bingo said.
"Come on, let's go get some lollies." Levon said to the little Red Heeler with a smile as him and Bluey walked ahead of Thomas and her. "Bluey stay close please!" Thomas called to her. "Thomas, I got her. You keep an eye on Bingo!" Levon called out to his older brother as him and Bluey walked together down the street. "Alright! Meet back at the giant jack-o-lantern!" Thomas called to his younger brother. "You got it!" Levon called back as Thomas looked down at Bingo, "Okay, Bingo. Looks like It's just you and me." He said with a smile. "Hooray!" Bingo said wagging her tail. Thomas chuckled as he held his little sister's hand before they both walked down the street to their neighbors' houses.
They visited a few houses and then came to a big house with a chance to get a big candy bar. "I wanna go to this one alone," Bingo said trying to be brave. "Are you sure?" Thomas asked as he looked down at his and Levon's youngest sibling. "Yeah! I want to be a big girl!" Bingo said with confidence. "Okay Bingo. I'll be right here when you get back." Thomas replied with a smile as he ruffled her hair. Bingo smiled and went on inside the big house. Thomas smiled as he watched the little Red Heeler make her way up to the house before he heard his phone buzz. He answered it to see if it was his girlfriend, Vic McQueen.
"Hey babe how's it going?" Thomas asked as he answered the phone. "Nothing much, just hanging around the house." The American Blue Heeler replied with a chuckle as she layed on her stomach, slowly kicking her legs. "Oh, me and Levon are just taking our sisters out Trick or Treating." Thomas replied as he rubbed the back of his head. "That's nice, do you want to hit up that party later?" Vic asked. "Totally. I'll let you know after me and Levon are done." Thomas replied with a soft smile. "Speaking of Levon, can I ask you a question?" Vic asked as she looked at her nails, "Oh uh sure, what is it?" Thomas asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You're not weirded out but have a wolf for a brother who's literally taller than you," Vic asked. "Nah, not really. I know Levon can't help the way he is. I'm sure his parents were tall too, but despite that, he's still my little brother, and we love him just the same." Thomas replied with a soft smile. "That's good," Vic said laying on her back "alright well I better let you get back to your sisters and have fan I'll see you later tonight for that party," Vic said. "Okay, I'll see you later, babe." Thomas replied as he ended the call before turning to that Bingo had not returned from the big house.
"Bingo?" Thomas called to her.
There was no response as he looked around for the little Red Heeler, "BINGO!" Thomas shouted, attempting to call out for his youngest sibling to no avail. Other kids were coming back from the scary house laughing and giggling but none of them were Bingo. A wave of uneasiness overcame the Heeler-Husky before he walked up to the scary house and knocked on the door.
The dog who owned the house jumped out trying to scare Thomas. "Oh geez!" Thomas exclaimed as jolted back before quickly regaining his composure, "Excuse me, sir, I was wondering if you could help me?" He asked the white furred dog who wore a mask. "Help? What's wrong mate?" The dog asked. "Did you happen to see a little Red Heeler about this height?" Thomas asked as he showed how tall Bingo was. "Her name is Bingo, she's my little sister." He added as he began to grow a worried look began to grow on his face.
"Sorry kid, I've seen so many kids this evening," The dog said "Oh no..." Thomas muttered under his breath before he ran from the house and out into the street. "Bingo!" He shouted for his little sister again as he looked around but couldn't spot her amongst the crowds of children. Bluey and Levon were walking together until Levon's ears perked up upon hearing his older brother's cry's out for Bingo. "Thomas!" Levon called as him and Bluey walked up to their oldest sibling, "What's wrong mate?" He asked as he was now on full alert. "I can't find Bingo," Thomas said with worry.
"WHAT?!" Levon exclaimed at the top of his lungs, resulting in some of the kids in the surrounding neighborhood to turn and gawk at the three Heeler siblings. "S-she was just here!" Thomas said. "Okay... where was the last place you saw her?" Levon asked as he took a deep breath and collected himself. "She wanted to go to this house by herself," Thomas said.
"Did you wait for her to come out?" Levon asked with a raised eyebrow. "I-i was on the phone." Thomas said looking down. "Oh God, Thomas!" Levon groaned as he slapped his forehead in frustration. "I'm sorry," Thomas said. "Is Bingo missing?" Bluey asked as she looked up at both of her older brothers, "Yes, but don't worry, Bluey. I'm gonna go find her while you stay with Thomas." Levon replied before he ran down the street to find the youngest Heeler sibling. Thomas sighed as he took Bluey over to a bench. "BINGO!" Levon called out to the little Red Heeler as he ran down the street while many worrying thoughts flew around in his mind.
"Thank you," Levon heard Bingos voice at a nearby stand that was giving out toffee apples. "Bingo!" The Grey Wolf cried out in relief as he ran over to her, "Oh hi Levon." Bingo said with a smile before her older brother pulled her into a gentle embrace, "I'm so glad you're okay, Bingo..." he said softly as he held her close to his chest. "Why wouldn't I be?" Bingo asked.
"Bingo, Thomas couldn't find you, and then when me and Bluey came back, we were all so worried about you!" Levon said as he placed his baby sister back down on the ground and placed his hands on her shoulders. "I-I'm sorry," Bingo said tearing up. "It's okay... all that matters is that you're safe. Just promise us that you'll stay close and where we can keep an eye on you from now on, okay?" Levon asked as he wiped her tears with his thumb. "I promise," Bingo said.
"Good, come on, let's get back to Thomas and Bluey." Levon said as he took her hand and they both began to walk back. Once they were all together, the Heeler siblings all decided to head back to their home. After getting Bluey and Bingo cleaned up and put to bed, Levon and Thomas went to their bedroom where Thomas sat down on the side on his mattress while Levon closed the bedroom door. "How could I let this happen?" Thomas asked himself with his ears folded back. "That's what I want to know, too..." Levon replied calmly as he looked at his older brother with his arms crossed.
"I just took my eyes off of her for a second," Thomas said. "Why? What could have been important?" Levon asked as he raised an eyebrow at his older brother. "It was about a party," Thomas explained. "What party?" Levon asked as he sat down in his bed that was across from Thomas. "I'm going to a party tonight," Thomas said as this made Levon angry. "For crying out loud..." The Grey Wolf growled as he pinched the bridge of his muzzle before regaining control of his anger. "Thomas... Bingo could have been kidnapped or worse." He said as he looked at his older brother. "I'm sorry! Okay!" Thomas shouted.
"Keep your voice down." Levon said as he listened for a moment, making sure Bluey and Bingo weren't woken up. After a moment of silence, Levon sighed before turning to Thomas, "Look, what matters is that Bingo is safe, and I think the important thing is that we don't tell Mum or Dad about this when they get back." The Grey Wolf said in a calm tone. "Alright good," Thomas said before standing up. "It'll be okay, Thomas..." Levon said as he placed a hand on his older brothers shoulder. "Okay, okay," Thomas said as he grabbed his phone. "I'll see you later okay?" Thomas said.
"Okay, Thomas. You be safe." Levon replied with a small smile, "Let me know when you get there and when you're on your way back." He said as he got into his bed. Thomas nodded before leaving.
(Flashback End)
"I was never angry at you, Thomas. I was scared about where Bingo was and if she was safe." Levon said as he placed a hand on his older brother's shoulder.
"I know you were, I was scared of losing her too," Thomas replied with a soft smile. As the two brothers sat there in silence for a brief moment, the sudden sound of horse hoofs approached towards them quickly before the sound of what could only be described as laughter of a psychotic madman.
Levon and Thomas both turned before their eyes widened in horror, and chills ran down their spines. There, quickly approaching them was the infamous Headless Horseman on a stead that could be described as something straight out of Hell itself. The glowing red eyes and a fur coat so dark that it rivaled the shadows and the night sky.
The Headless Horseman stopped before his horse stood up on his back legs and bellowed a bone, chilling neigh from its mouth before it and its headless rider turned around and disappeared into the fog just as quickly as it arrived. They looked towards the house as the lights went out. "Oh, Biscuits! Dad! Uncle Prince! Grandma and Papa Husky!" Levon said as he ran back towards the house as Thomas followed behind. They ran into the house hoping to find the adults.
"Hello? Anyone?!" Levon called out to his and Thomas' family as he looked around the house. "Kids?" Bandit said running up to them. "Dad!" Levon said as he hugged his father tightly, "I'm so glad you're okay!" He said with relief as he grabbed a handful of his father's back fur. "Mate, the power just went it out it's okay," Bandit said. "But Dad, me and Thomas saw the Headless Horseman!" Levon said as he looked at his father. "W-what?" Bandit asked with a light chuckle. "He's telling the truth, Dad." Thomas said as he walked into the room. Suddenly the lights flickered and laughter was heard from outside.
Levon and Thomas' eyes widened as the looked around the house, "Wait... where are Grandma and Papa Husky? And where's Prince?" Levon asked. "They went to the wine cellar, the party was over," Bandit said as finally the power went out fully. "Oh, Biscuits..." Levon muttered softy while he looked around the house as his eyes quickly adjusted to the surrounding darkness.Thomas turned on his flashlight from his phone. "Good thinking, Thomas." Levon said quietly as he lead his older brother and father through the dark house.
A storm started to settle in with thunder and lightning. "Oh great, talk about bad timing." Levon groaned in frustration as he, his brother, and their father continued to look through the house. "So what did you kids see?" Bandit asked nervously. "We saw the Headless Horseman on his horse!" Levon said as he turned to look back at his father. "You're not joking are you, mate?" Bandit asked, now scared. "No!" Both boys said. Suddenly, the sound of something crashing got Bandit, and both of his sons' attention as they froze. "What was that?" Levon muttered as he stared in the direction of a doorway. "U-uh a smashed pumpkin?" Thomas said confused and scared. "What was that?" Richard asked as he came up the stairs from the wine cellar. "Papa Husky!" Levon said as he ran over and hugged his grandfather, "You're okay!" Thomas said in relief as he joined his younger brother in hugging the black and white Husky.
"Okay? Did something happen?" Richard asked as he adjusted his glasses. "Me and Thomas saw the Headless Horseman!" Levon replied as Thomas nodded his head, Richard started laughing "what?" Richard asked
"It's true!" Thomas said, looking up at his grandfather with a fearful look in his eye, "We wouldn't lie to you about something this serious!" Levon said as he looked around. "What's going on?" Willow asked coming up from behind her husband. "Me and Thomas saw the Headless Horseman, Grandma Willow!" Levon replied before he hugged her, "I'm glad you're okay!" He said with a smile. "Where's Uncle Prince?" Thomas asked with a raised eyebrow as he looked around the house for the red and white Husky.
"Oh! He went to see if we can get the back up generator running," Willow said. "Where's the backup generator at?" Levon asked as he looked at his grandmother. "In the back room down in the wine cellar," Willow answered. "Okay, we should all go check on him." Levon replied as he walked past his grandparents down into the wine cellar. "Oh okay!" Richard said playfully following his grandson. "Wow, you guys have a lot of wine down here..." Thomas said, surprised at seeing the numerous bottles of wine and wine barrels that were stacked on the shelves. "Just some our collection," Richard said proudly. "Quite the collection indeed." Levon said as his older brother shined the light ahead of them. "I hope Prince is okay..." Bandit said softly as he followed his sons and in laws. "I think I see the room," Thomas said pointing his flashlight at the open door
"I do too!" Levon replied as he continued to walk toward it before stopping at it. "Uncle Prince? Are you okay?" He called out to the red and white Husky. They heard low whispering. "Give me your head... NOW!" A loud voice shouted. "OH CRAP!" Levon screamed at the top of his lungs before ducking just as an ax embedded itself in the doorway. "RUN!" The Grey Wolf shouted as his father, grandparents, and older brother began to run in fear. "Give me your head!" The headless horseman shouted now chasing after them. "Run Thomas! Keep running, and don't look back!" Levon shouted as everyone arrived back in the house before Richard slammed the cellar door shut.
"It's real!" Bandit shouted.
"Me and Levon were telling the truth!" Thomas said before his eyes widened upon realizing something, "Where's Levon?" He asked as he scanned the room. "He's still in there!" Willow cried out loud. "Oh God..." Bandit muttered as he scrambled to go back into the room. "Dad you can't!" Thomas shouted. "I got to save your brother!" Bandit said with tears in his eyes as he tried to open the cellar door.
Meanwhile in the cellar.
Levon stood there in the wine cellar, being as quiet as he could to avoid the Headless Horseman. The headless horseman looked around for Levon as he search for a head. Levon grabbed a wine bottle from a shelf before he tossed it in the opposite direction as an attempt to try and distract the Headless Horseman. "My head!" The horseman shouted before going into the direction of where the glass was shattered. Levon then went the opposite direction and found himself into the meat locker. "Oh man..." he muttered to himself before trying to find a hiding spot from the ghoul that was hunting him. The meat locker was cold but it didn't bother the gray wolf because of his thick fur.
Levon sat there in silence, listening for the footsteps of the Headless Horseman, praying that he wouldn't be his first victim since he last killed all those years ago. His mind began to wonder if this was truly how he was gonna die. Never seeing his family again, never confessing his feelings to a girl he liked. Tears began to well in Levon's eyes as these thoughts flew around in his mind. "My head!" The headless horseman shouted as he charged at Levon. Levon darted out as the Horseman's ax nearly came from slicing into his neck before he began to run. "Give me my head!" The horseman shouted in anger.
Levon began to look around to see if there was anything he could use as a weapon. Levon then saw one of Prince's old baseball bats. Thinking quickly, he grabbed one that was aluminum and gripped it tightly in his hand, "Alright, you filthy drongo..." he said, glaring at the Headless Horseman, "You want my head?" Levon asked as he glared at the ghoul, "Come get it..." he said as he prepared himself for a fight. The headless horseman roared as he charged at the gray wolf.
Meanwhile, Bandit was trying to go back into the wine cellar while being held back by Thomas and Richard. "Dad, it's too dangerous!" Thomas said, trying to reason with his father, "I CAN'T LEAVE YOUR BROTHER DOWN THERE WITH THAT MONSTER!" Bandit cried out as tears rolled down his cheeks. Suddenly they heard Levon scream. "Levon!" They all shouted in fear. Bandit freed himself from his other son and former father in law before barging the wine cellar door open and ran back down the stairs. "Levon!" Bandit shouted fearing the worst for his younger son.
As he reached the area where he last saw his son, Bandit came across the meat locker. "Levon!" Bandit shouted again with tears. "D-Dad?" The voice of his youngest son could be heard faintly, Bandit rushed over before he stopped. His eyes widened in horror at the sight before him. Levon was sitting up against the wall with his hand on his stomach as blood oozed out of it. "Son!" Bandit said running over to him. "I-I got him Dad... I-I took one of Uncle Prince's baseball bats and walloped him good!" Levon said with a weak smile. "But he did stab me with his axe." He said, looking down at his wound.
"I-I got you mate," Bandit said softly. The rest of the family rushed into the meat locker. "Oh my god!" Willow shouted with tears. "Let's get you too a hospital," Richard said as he helped his grandson up. Thomas came in and saw the headless horseman on the fell. "W-who was he?" Thomas asked, scared. "I-I didn't exactly get a look at him." Levon replied with a chuckle before coughing a little bit. "Let's go!" Bandit said before they heard noise coming from the next room. Richard opened the next room and saw Prince tied up and mouth taped over.
"Uncle Prince?! You're alive!" Thomas said as he walked over to the red and white Husky before ripping the tape off of his mouth. "Ow!" Prince shouted. "Sorry, Uncle Prince." Thomas said before he hugged his uncle tightly, "I'm so glad you're okay..." Thomas added. "Thanks kid," Prince said, now sore. "What happened to you mate?" Bandit asked as he held Levon to support him. "That thing attacked me!" Prince shouted.
"Y-Yeah, same here." Levon replied as he hissed in pain. "Come on we better get you two to a hospital," Willow said. "P-Probably a good idea, Grandma Willow..." Levon said as Prince walked over and helped Bandit carry the Grey Wolf teen. As the group started to make their way out of the basement celler. Thomas stopped himself and turned and looked back at the room where the Headless Horseman was laying on the ground. Thomas new he was going to regret this but he then signed to himself and went to go look if he was still there. Thomas walked back into the meatlocker and found that the Headless Horseman's body was gone and the one only that was left was a rioting pumpkin head. Thomas step closer to it now being drawn to it. Faint whispers were coming from the pumpkin as Thomas picked it up and looked into its dead eyes. "Bring me a head…." the pumpkin whispered to Thomas in a dark evil tone.
Not long later, Bandit came back to find his older son facing the wall. "Thomas? Mate were ready to take your brother to the hospital," Bandit said while looking at his son who was still facing the wall away from him. Thomas then started laughing, "mate, it's not funny, we have to go," Bandit said stepping closer to his older son. Thomas continued to laugh hysterically while facing away from his father. "THOMAS! Cut it out!" Bandit shouted angrily. Thomas then turned and faced his father. To Bandit's horror with his eyes widen and unable to let out any sort of scream as looking at his son took the fear out of him. "Bring me a head!" Thomas shouted with the pumpkin over his head while laughing.
