He takes a deep breath and knocks on the door of their shared tour bus.
Sting and Andy look up from their instruments, their brows furrowed in concern. "Stew? What's going on?" Sting asks, his voice quiet and cautious.
"You do not want to know," he said with a big sigh.
He sat down on the couch across from Sting and Andy, his heart racing. "Guys, I need to talk to you about something." His voice cracked, and he could feel his hands shaking.
Sting and Andy exchanged glances, their expressions growing more concerned. "What is it, Stew? You look like you've seen a ghost." Sting said, setting his guitar down on the floor.
"Guys, I am bisexual and during the summer, I have grown fond of men, but I still like women."
Sting and Andy's eyes widened in shock. They had always known that Stewart was a ladies' man, but never in their wildest dreams did they think that he was attracted to men too.
They both exchanged glances again, this time filled with understanding and acceptance.
"We're here for you, Stew," Sting said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you very much guys, I am no longer a burden"
Stewart said, feeling a huge weight lifted off his shoulders. "I had been living a double life for so long, I did not know how to tell you guys about this." He constantly kept hiding who he truly was from the people he loved the most.
Now, he felt like he could finally breathe. "I felt like I was gonna have a panic attack at first," Stewart admitted, taking a deep breath.
"But you guys are my family. I couldn't keep living a lie anymore."
Sting and Andy exchanged glances again, this time filled with understanding and acceptance. They knew how difficult it must have been for Stewart to come out to them. They also knew that they needed to be there for him, no matter what.
"Have you told Amanda about this?" Andy asked with hesitation.
Stewart shook his head. "No, I haven't. I was going to tell her tonight when we get to the next town. I just didn't know how she would react."
"I just don't know what to do anymore," Stewart said as he got down on his knees and put his hands on his face as he cried.
Sting and Andy looked at each other, they knew how difficult this was for their friend. They both knew that they had to be there for him no matter what."
Hey man, take your time. There's no rush," Sting said, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry I didn't know. I would never have thought you'd feel this way," Andy added, his voice shaking slightly. "We're here for you, Stew. Whatever happens, we'll face it together."
Stewart wiped his tears away and took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. "Thank you guys. I know this is going to be a difficult time for all of us, but I need your support."
"We'll back you up, Stew. No worries." Sting said.
They all form a group hug, trying to comfort each other as they prepare for the upcoming storm. Sting and Andy knew that this news would shake their world to its core, but they were determined to stand by Stewart's side. They were his family.
