The troll eventually came to a stop, gripping Brenya's left paw in its hands. It stopped at what seemed to be a cave near the shoreline.
"Get in here now," the troll said, angrily dragging Brenya inside with it.
After they got inside, the troll pulled over a large boulder, blocking the entrance so Brenya couldn't escape. It looked at her, clearly angry.
"Who the hell are you and why are you in my territory?" it asked her. Brenya sighed.
"My name is Brenya. Why I am here is none of your fucking business," she responded, still terrified. It looked at her, letting out a hiss.
"I dont trust your kind in my waters," it said to her. The young wolf looked up at him, still scared.
"The real question here is who are YOU?" she asked. The troll looked over at Brenya, clearly still unhappy.
"Eridan Ampora, now dont forget it," it said with a growl.
"So, you're a male I'm assuming?" Brenya asked. The troll nodded.
"Of course im a fuckin male," he responded angrily. The wolf stepped back a little, startled.
"Um, sorry," she said, looking away.
Eridan rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed by Brenya. She looked up at him, touching his hair.
"What's with the ponytail?" she asked cautiously. Eridan looked away, unhappy.
"It's none of your fuckin business," he responded, flicking it off of his shoulder. Brenya giggled silently to herself.
"It's kinda cute, you know," she said with a slight smile. The male troll death glared at her, growling.
"It's not fuckin cute, it's embarrassin," he responded with a growl, hiding a violet-tinted blush of embarrassment. Brenya stepped back a bit.
"You know you're not gonna get away with kidnapping me, right?" Eridan rolled his eyes, ignoring her remark.
"Anyway, how the FUCK did you find our world?" he asked, still angry. Brenya blinked at him, slowly starting to get irritated.
"I was transported here after my family ditched me," she responded. Eridan's angriness was slowly replaced by confusion.
"Your lusus ditched you?" he asked. Brenya slowly nodded.
"It's a long fucking story, I'll explain it later," she responded, looking away. Eridan sighed, not wanting to argue with her.
"Whatever, guess I'll accept that for now," he said with a sigh. He looked away, pushing his ponytail off his shoulder again.
"Stupid fuckin long hair," he mumbled to himself, not wanting Brenya to hear.
"You say something?" she asked curiously.
Eridan shook his head no, continuing to mess with his ponytail. Brenya sighed but shrugged it off for the time being.
"So, how long are you gonna keep me here?" the curious wolfgirl asked.
"As long as I fuckin want," he snapped, causing Brenya to jump backward.
"Look, I like it down here and all, but I can't be submerged underwater forever. I'll drown!" she responded, scared.
"Sounds like a fuckin you problem, missy," the sea troll responded. Brenya's eyes widened.
"B-but my new friends! They'll worry about me being gone!" Eridan stopped in his tracks and his fins flicked a bit.
"What do you mean by new friends?" he asked her. Brenya sighed, trying to keep a calm composure despite being freaked out.
"Well, there are eleven of them," she responded.
"Aradia, Tavros, Sol-," she began before being stopped.
"Fuckin Sol is NOT friend material," he said with a snap, his ponytail flinging around.
"Why not?" Brenya asked, confused.
"You just cannot trust that fuckin gamer freak show," he responded. Brenya rolled her eyes.
"Well, you get my point. They'll be worried about me being gone!" she said, scared.
And her suspicions would later turn out to be true. Back on land, the others were looking everywhere for her. Feferi looked at the others, nervous.
"The last place I remember her being was the ocean when we split to look for Eridan," she said to the others nervously.
"Oh shit, that's right! She's still down there probably!" she responded.
"If she's still down there, that probably means she found ED," Sollux responded. Without a second thought, Feferi jumped back into the ocean.
"Where are you going?" Kanaya asked her.
"I'm going to get Brenya back!" she responded, diving deeper into the ocean.
"Good luck down there!" Nepeta said to her before she was fully underwater.
"So, if she doesn't find her, can we declare her to be dead?" Vriska asked with a smirk.
"VRISKA, THAT'S ENOUGH!" Karkat screamed at her.
Vriska rolled her eyes. Or at least the one that she could roll.
"Whatever, don't say I didn't warn you guys!" she responded, watching the ocean.
Feferi continued to swim underwater.
"Brenya, you down here?" she screamed.
No response. She screamed again, but still nothing.
"Damnit, I know you're here somewhere!" she screamed, continuing to swim.
As she was swimming, she caught onto a glimmer coming from a cave near the shoreline.
"Is that jewelry? All the way over here?" she thought to herself, swimming towards it. As she got closer, the view of the cave became more vivid.
"Damn, I've never seen something like this here before!" she said, swimming towards the cave. As Feferi got closer, she could hear voices coming from inside.
"No way this is where he has been this whole time," she said in awe.
"Eridan, are you in there?" she asked, knocking on the boulder that was blocking the entrance. No response.
"I know you're in there, Eridan! I hear you!" she said, becoming impatient.
"Shit," Eridan said to himself, quickly shoving Brenya into a closet.
"Now stay quiet or else," he threatened, closing the door.
Annoyed, he pushed the boulder away from the entrance.
"Okay ya caught me, now what do-," Eridan said before stopping in his tracks.
"We've been looking everywhere for you!" Feferi said before Eridan had a chance to continue.
"Fef, I dont want to talk about it," he responded.
The fish lady reached over, touching Eridan's ponytail.
"When was the last time you had a haircut?" she asked, touching it. Eridan smacked her hand away from it.
"None of your fuckin business," he responded angrily, looking away.
Brenya covered her ears, wanting to avoid hearing the argument. It wasn't working very well.
"And the violet streak, it's completely gone," she said, starting to worry about her ex.
"im well aware of that, and I obviously dont care in the slightest," he responded.
After a few minutes of hearing them argue, Brenya couldn't take it. She pushed open the closet door and rushed over to them.
"Please stop arguing, I can't take it!" she screamed, whimpering. Eridan and Feferi both went silent and looked down at the crying wolf.
"Brenya, you're okay!" Feferi said in excitement, stroking her hair. Brenya nodded as her tail wagged.
"Yeah, I'm okay for now. But I need to get to the surface before I run out of breath down here," she responded.
Feferi nodded, carrying Brenya up to the surface to get some fresh air. Eridan hissed, leaping up at them.
"Oh no you dont, ya fuckin wolf," he said before swimming after them both.
After what felt like forever, Feferi got Brenya up to the surface so she could breathe. "Thanks," she said. Feferi nodded at her.
However, they weren't alone on their trip to the surface. Eridan had followed them and was staring them down. And not in a good way.
